Unfortunately, the food was very bland, some of the fries were cold and not cooked through in places, and the patty was tasteless. I struggled with gastrointestinal problems after eating. I was thrilled with my visit to KOBÉS in Ulm! The burgers were simply outstanding – juicy, perfectly seasoned and made with high quality ingredients. The friendly and attentive service is particularly positive. You immediately feel welcome. I also really liked the ambience – modern, stylish and designed with loving details. The portions are generous, and the sweet potato fries were a real highlight. If you are looking for a special burger experience, you should definitely try KOBÉS. I'd love to come back!

So where do I start, I only review the burger and not the steaks… Eat: Little choice but doesn't have to mean anything but, If the price of a burger is just under €20 and that's a lot for a burger, it's not good and doesn't fill you up. Meat is made from bull but unfortunately it's not that great. I don't understand the 4.9 star rating Side dishes are also not so good. Fries are made from sweet potatoes, or normal ones, everyone has to know for themselves And the salad disaster consists of 80% sauce Service: So very sweet and nice but a bit too pushy, after the third time coming to see if everything fits is annoying, 1 time is okay but 3 times too much… Offer: Looks very chic and fits what they sell. Can't complain, it's a bit small and unfortunately no parking options...

It smells very much like kitchen in the restaurant because the kitchen is not separated from the dining room. The burgers are medium but too expensive. Fries and steaks were very good. However, drinks are only available in bottles and the coleslaw probably came straight from the supermarket. All in all, more of a snack bar feel at relatively high restaurant prices.

Great burgers, great fries, great service. The sporty price is therefore justified.

I would give even more stars if possible. We are always on the hunt for the best food. The lamb chops were truly to die for. I even indulged in a burger. It was also absolutely delicious and really juicy. I wish I could have eaten more, but I was absolutely full. Just great, keep it up, the service was really very friendly and accommodating. The burgers were on point, super juicy and tasted great - you can tell the quality of the ingredients. The side dishes were also fresh and delicious. There is also a relaxed atmosphere and a very friendly, attentive team. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. It was definitely not the last visit for us - a real insider tip in Ulm-Söflingen!

Unfortunately the burgers really disappointed us. The patty was dry and tasted like lamb fat. The waitress explained to us that both lamb and beef patties were prepared on the grill. (For people who don't like lamb, €26-28 is wasted money). The coleslaw for €6.90 is straight from the 10L bucket from the wholesale market. Unfortunately, there were real savings here. The buns are bought from a regional baker but are made more of air than bun. On the whole I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. However, service was really top!

Ich mache es kurz. das was wir im Kobes aufgetischt bekommen haben war sowas von langweilig. Ordinäre TK Pommes werden als Sonnenstrahlen bezeichnet. Nach dem gewünschten Gar Grad wurde nicht gefragt. Fleisch und Burger vielleicht gerade noch in Großhandelsqualität. Die phantasielose Zusammenstellung der Burger runden das Gesamtbild nach unten ab. Wie schon von Anderen erwähnt werden die Getränke in Flaschen ohne Gläser serviert. Ob das auch beim Wein so ist weiß ich nicht, weil hier geht es ab knapp 35,- pro Flasche los. Insgesamt sind alle Preise weit überzogen und es ist leicht in Ulm für etwas mehr als die Hälfte deutlich bessere Steaks, Burger, Beilagen und Getränke zu bekommen.

I went to this store with great hope and anticipation - and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food. We ordered burgers and lamb chops to try. Given the fairly high prices, we also expected high quality. But to be honest: These were some of the worst burgers and cutlets I've ever eaten outside. The chops were tough and undercooked, the burger was tasteless, the patty was too thin and the bread was way too dry. I give one star for the friendly staff - but I'm sure you won't see me there a second time. Price-performance: catastrophic. Unfortunately one of the most disappointing stores I know.

Our evening for the four of us began with us having to wait 15 minutes with a reservation because no table had been reserved for us. When a service lady told us that we would get a table, other guests started arguing with us because they had been promised the same table by another lady. We got it because our waiting time was longer. Before accepting the order, I said that I had the gourmet block with me, whereupon the lady nodded and said that we would only need it when we paid. Okay, good so far. We ordered quite quickly after sitting down because we had already received the card after waiting 15 minutes. Three quarters of an hour, 45 minutes! We could watch food coming out of the kitchen, just not ours. Even the group of guests after us received it before us! When our food arrived at exactly 8 p.m., we were very disappointed despite our high expectations. The taste could have been better, we agreed as a group. Afterwards we all wanted to go home and it was time to pay. The plan was very simple, we were 2 couples, the ladies at Schlemmerblock at a cheaper price, i.e. free of charge, and the men wanted to pay for theirs. It shouldn't have been a surprise to us that it didn't work after such an evening. 3 of us had the menu with burgers, fries and a drink. One had the burger without fries but with a drink. The service lady told my partner that because of this particular burger, the 4 for 2 voucher was not valid and we had to pay separately. You were not informed or explained that certain burgers were not included or which menus were included! He then got the offer 2 for 1 for us through my block, and our friends were allowed to pay the full price. He was allowed to pay almost €60 for this evening, and we were also charged for drinks! By menu, which even says what goes with it, I mean something different. In general it can be said once and never again.

I spontaneously stopped in for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The service was quick and attentive. Although there isn't a large selection of burgers, the quality is excellent. I actually think it's better that there are only a few burgers because the ingredients are of the highest quality. I felt like most of the effort goes into getting a 5 star review, but not necessarily to actually make an enjoyable evening for someone who obviously isn't going to be a regular. With the vouchers from the gourmet block you get a free tea, while the other tables also got a sample plate. The table right by the door was super drafty and a table in the back area wasn't possible, we were told, because the whole area was reserved for friends (an area of ​​about 20 seats for 4 friends). When it comes to the Schlemmerblock, always read the small print: you don't get the drinks included in the menu like on the menu, but you pay the menu price in full and have to pay for the drink in addition. In fact, unfortunately the owner didn't tell the truth, because according to voucher book guidelines, drinks from a menu are included! Unfortunately, I didn't feel comfortable there, but I can very well understand that the guests around us, who were really courted, did. So people from Ulm who want to go there regularly will definitely find what they are looking for there.

My first and last time in this restaurant. Here is my observation: They don't try to win back guests, but instead use tricks to lure unsuspecting new customers. Firstly, they don't give you a menu to look through, they present it themselves and try to make the meat palatable to you. And here comes the “trick”: The menu says that the meat costs €27 per 100g – but be careful, underneath it says in small letters that they serve 300g. This means that if you don't look closely, you'll end up paying three times as much. I don't know, but this seems like a rip-off to me. Why don't you write down the total price directly if you don't want to hide anything? We then decided on burgers. The restaurant wasn't even full, and yet it took over 45 minutes for the food to be served. At first we thought: “Maybe it's taking so long because everything is fresh and homemade” or “It'll definitely be so good that it'll be worth the wait”. But when the burger came it wasn't even hot. So why wait so long if you're going to serve the food cold? That doesn't make any sense. There are also savings on cutlery: drinks are only served in bottles, and knives and forks are only available upon request. I'm convinced they don't hire someone to do the dishes because they want to save money. That's why there are so few cutlery and glasses. In my opinion the food is completely overpriced for the quality offered. Honestly, you can make a better burger at home. And oh yeah, I'm sure the good reviews are either bought or forced. I will never visit this restaurant again. An absolute disappointment!

The burger is too expensive for what you get. Also the fillet price starts at 69€ since you have to order at least 300g. All in all they are asking for a premium price for a midrange establishment.

Nice burger shop right next to a tram stop. Very attentive service and cook at the same time. You could watch the food being prepared. I have no complaints about the burger and fries.

Wir haben mit dem Gutscheinbuch im Restaurant Kobes zu viert gegessen. Die Gastwirtschaft macht einen einfachen aber guten Eindruck. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es gibt nur eine geringe Auswahl, was jedoch nicht schlecht ist. So kann man davon ausgehen, dass die Ware sehr frisch ist. Es gibt 2 Arten Burger in normal und doppelt und 2 Arten Steaks (Lamm und Rind). Die Qualität ist sehr hochwertig und es war sehr lecker. Hochwertig war allerdings auch der Preis. Wir hatten für 4 Personen Burger mit Pommes bestellt. Daraufhin wurden uns als Vorspeise 4 Lammsteaks (1 pro Person) empfohlen, was wir auch angenommen haben. Alleine hierfür haben wir dann fast 40,-€ bezahlt (ca. 40g Fleisch je Stück). In Summe kamen wir dann trotz Gutscheinbuch auf über 100,-€, obwohl 2 Gerichte nicht berechnet wurden. Immerhin gab es abschließend noch einen Tee auf Kosten des Hauses zur Beruhigung. Getränke werden in Flaschen serviert, es gibt keine Gläser – das ist nachhaltig. 😊

The name of the restaurant can be a bit confusing, because anyone familiar with Kobe meat from Japan will probably come in with different expectations than what is actually offered. Nevertheless, the owner and the staff put their heart and soul into offering an all-round service.
