I was invited there by a friend but unfortunately it was the worst steak in Ulm once and never again

The taste of the food was good but it wasn't a revelation. 28 euros for a burger with a sparse portion of fries and a small cola is clearly too expensive. Since we were the only customers in 2 hours, I also think that this is known. However, we fell for the good reviews and didn't think about it. Anyone who charges 22 euros for 100 grams of meat with a minimum purchase of 300 grams is almost a fraud in my opinion. It would definitely pass as usury. Maybe I'm just too honest and not a businessman. I can't recommend it at all. In terms of taste, yes, in terms of price, zero. We took the chilli cheese burgers. The bun was very tasty, or so I imagine. The meat was fried until pink, a little more than medium rare. This is perfect for a fresh burger. Even though the burger was medium rare, it was still very dry. This is probably due to the small amount of sauce. There was just a small amount of bland burger sauce under the meat. There was nothing over the meat. In principle, the Chilli Cheese Burger is nothing more than a cheeseburger with jalapenos, which I was very disappointed with. I would have liked a cheese sauce or a cheese-heavy burger. If you then look at the prices... The menu costs well over €25. So don't misunderstand. The burger was okay but a dry and bland affair. The fries/sweet potato fries were very tasty though! But that's not why I'm here. Unfortunately, towards the end (7:30 p.m.) we were asked if we could free the table for other guests. The arriving guests were told that 2 tables had arrived later. Well, it's strange that we were asked if we could make room (because the next guests were already there) even though we had made a special reservation for 7 p.m. and were there at 6:40 p.m. I don't know what went wrong. In principle it wasn't that tragic because we wanted to leave soon anyway. It still has a “gschmäckle”. It wasn't so nice to try to sell additional side dishes or double meat. It all seemed very rehearsed. It was also funny that everyone was asked for a photo…why? Overall, we won't come again for the price. The price/performance is simply not right. Because we had a 2:1 voucher it worked. Still, it wasn't really 2:1, which I noticed afterwards. So we paid more than 1 burger menu. It definitely won't be my tip for burgers. There are much better ones (Damnburger, for example) in Ulm ;) Addendum October 31st The operator wanted to delete my review with the reason: slander...absolutely ridiculous. Great service, excellent food, steaks, burgers and side dishes. Best quality.

Unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. Given the high prices, we would have expected both better quality and a larger portion size - the burger could have just as easily been prepared at home. The vegetarian burger in particular was disappointing as it was only topped with a halloumi cheese salad and onions. Given the numerous positive reviews, the question arises as to whether these might have been bought??? The open kitchen also left a strong smell of food in the clothes, which further detracted from the experience.

We were more than satisfied. Were warmly welcomed. Both from the owner and the employees. Food was a 10/10. It's very rare for an owner to sit at the table with you and talk about everything. Be granted every success. It was definitely worth a visit and will continue to be.

Tasteless food with poor quality and extremely expensive prices. My partner and I had terrible stomach problems for 2 days, I don't want to put anyone through that!! We were there on a Friday evening and no one was there, no wonder! It's a shame we fell for it...

The ambience is great and the beef burger was tasty, although we also ordered a vegetarian burger that only had a slice of grilled cheese instead of a patty and didn't taste good. Since both menus cost the same and the prices are very high anyway, the vegetarian option was a big disappointment. We were hoping for a real patty like from Beyond Meat. In this case it would be better to simply leave out the vegetarian option.

The food is okay, the sweet potato fries were tasty, the burgers were average at best. The drinks are only available in bottles. The service is friendly, although the waitress cleverly tries to drive up the already hefty price even more. According to the waitress, the lamb chops - three in number - were really small and not filling enough. Another lamb chop would cost 10 euros - but you can only find out if you ask. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right at all. Almost 30 euros for a burger with a side dish and a drink seems to me to be way too high, even in this day and age, as the taste experience is just average.

However, the highlight of the evening was the staff. I have rarely experienced such friendly and attentive employees. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after.

Upscale steakhouse with great burgers, great service and a nice ambience. The selection of dishes is very limited but that's not a disadvantage for me.

Beware of the cost trap! There were two of us and we had steak once and a vegetarian burger. The steak and fries tasted good, the burger was rather cheap. The roll fell apart, instead of a vegan patti there was only a piece of haloum cheese and a lettuce leaf on it. On the one hand, we both found the menu quite confusing because it is full of advertising slogans, but the selection of food and drinks is very manageable. Be careful, when it comes to steak, the price per 100g is stated on the menu, which is easy to overlook and you get a rude awakening later on the bill. 300g (I'm not sure if it was actually that much) steak cost around €70. 1 glass of white wine almost 9€. Despite the Schlemmerblock voucher, we ended up with an amount of €106, which in our opinion was not value for money. The ambience looks more like a beautifully designed snack bar. The tables are very close together, so that the person sitting next to you inevitably overhears the conversations. All in all, a wannabe fancy store that needs a lot of improvement.

Very high-quality meat and friendly service. I can recommend to anyone looking for an excellent burger or grilled meat, however for less demanding people the price wouldn’t be justified. The meat was perfect and cooked exactly as it should be: not raw, not hard but juicy. The price for a meal with 3 dishes and tea was 76 euro.

However, there was no cheese sauce here, just a regular cheeseburger with jalapeños. Otherwise the burger consisted of a very thin meat patty and salad. Something very thinly applied and tasteless sauce. The burger as a whole was very dry and tasteless. Unfortunately the price is absolutely not justified. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. However, due to the pricing, only 2-3 stars.

First to eat - the burger. The highlight of the burger was the bread, probably homemade or from a bakery and a good mix of fluffy and crispy. The patty felt significantly less for the advertised 140g and tasted ok. Lettuce, onions and cheese were basic. The sauce was way too light and very sparse for my taste. Now the service - the woman in service was very friendly, open and gave us a free choice of seats. When we took our order we were asked quite aggressively whether we wanted two patties or more meat as a starter. So well trained, but obviously with a clear concept when looking through all the comments. We were also asked the obligatory question about a shared picture. About the ambience - we sat behind the house. Inside and outside it was quite manageable, furnished as you would expect from a burger shop and seemed well maintained. The overall conclusion - The reason why there are only two stars overall is the price-performance ratio. Understandably, €26.90 per menu creates very high expectations that were not met. I was missing the corresponding WOW effect. The price is very high even for fresh produce. Anyone with a little talent can conjure up significantly better and more burgers at home for this price. The ambience and friendly service don't change anything. The average rating of 4.8* seems quite deceptive to me and misled us a bit. We were there with a 2:1 voucher, so the bottom line was that it was ok, but there was no need to repeat it. Questions arose about the billing, because despite 2 for 1 the bill suddenly came to €31.** instead of €26.90 per burger menu(?). But we didn't care, given the prices the store probably needs it more than we do... 😅

It was a Quick Friday dinner. We didn't expect much, but all meals (lamb, chees Burger, veal filet was PERFECT. Not cheap, 190€ for 3 pearson, but meat was one of the best that I had!

I tried the herb-crusted beef fillet, which was cooked to perfection and, combined with the side dishes, offered a real taste experience. The starters and desserts were also a delight for the senses. The price-performance ratio at Kobes Restaurant is excellent. The prices are absolutely justified for the quality of the food and service. All in all, my visit to Kobes Restaurant in Ulm was an unforgettable experience. I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​excellent food, first-class service and an atmospheric ambience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! The owner of the restaurant is also a great guy who is easy to talk to about a variety of books!

Totale Enttäuschung. Getränke aus der Flasche aus dem Kühlschrank hinter uns. Kennt man normalerweise aus einem Imbiss. Steak, 100 Gramm, 22€, gibt es aber erst ab 300 Gramm. Hatten einen Cheeseburger mit Süßkartoffelpommes für stramme 25€. Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht. Das sind Preise in guten Restaurants, aber nicht in Lokalitäten mit Imbisscharakter. Da tröstet auch die freundliche junge Dame im Service wenig. Würde ich keinem meiner Freunde und Bekannten empfehlen

We came here through the Schlemmerblock, which is why we only had to pay for one of the two burgers. What unfortunately only became apparent on site was that the steaks are not listed as a main course on the menu, which is why only burgers can be ordered from the gourmet block. It's a shame because we were already looking forward to the steaks. The ambience is okay, you sit very close to the other tables, which we didn't like that much. The waitresses were very nice, but also a bit intrusive. My plate was cleared away while my girlfriend was still eating, which is something I don't know from a restaurant. When that was the case, I was always asked if it could be cleared away, which unfortunately wasn't there either. We were asked if we wanted to have a souvenir picture taken of us and if it could also be posted on Instagram. At the end there was free tea and a request to leave a 5 star rating on Google Maps. That probably explains the disproportionate 5 star ratings. The food was quite good, but in our opinion too expensive for the price. We've had better burgers for less money before. You can get the fries at every snack bar. I can't say much about the steaks because we wanted to avoid disappointment based on what we saw at the neighboring tables and the prices on the menu. The drinks are only available in bottles and the refrigerators are free in the room like in every kebab stall/snack bar Conclusion: it's a classier snack bar with expensive prices

This was perhaps my second time in Ulm, a small town. The shop is at the back on the corner, so there isn't much going on. In any case, I wanted to take a simple hamburger with me and then drive on. The shop was almost empty. THE PRICE OF A BURGER IS 25€ and SHOCKS!!! I said thank you and bought a burger and fries from another restaurant 30m away for a total of €14.

The food was okay, but in my opinion not worth the money. You want to present yourself as an upscale restaurant, but you get the drinks in bottles without glass.
