A nice restaurant with a selected menu. Here you are warmly welcomed and served, the decor is nicely designed and the food is okay. The name of the restaurant can be a bit confusing, because anyone familiar with Kobe meat from Japan will probably come in with different expectations than what is actually offered. Nevertheless, the owner and the staff put their heart and soul into offering an all-round service.

The food was good and I believe the other reviewers also liked the ambience and service. I felt like most of the effort goes into getting a 5 star review, but not necessarily to actually make an enjoyable evening for someone who obviously isn't going to be a regular. With the vouchers from the gourmet block you get a free tea, while the other tables also got a sample plate. The table right by the door was super drafty and a table in the back area wasn't possible, we were told, because the whole area was reserved for friends (an area of ​​about 20 seats for 4 friends). When it comes to the gourmet block, always read the small print: you don't get the drinks included in the menu like on the menu, but you pay the menu price in full and have to pay for the drink in addition. Unfortunately, I didn't feel comfortable there, but I can very well understand that the guests around us, who were really courted, did. So people from Ulm who want to go there regularly will definitely find what they are looking for there.

The taste of the food was good but it wasn't a revelation. 28 euros for a burger with a sparse portion of fries and a small cola is clearly too expensive. Nice ambience, good service, good food

We were greeted very friendly. As a starter we recommended “lamb cutlet” - super tender. Burgers were tasty and the portion was sufficient. At the end we had different teas on the house for 5 people. All around very friendly staff and delicious food. Feel free to come by again! :-)

Burgers were good but very very buttery, far too small for the price. Staff was friendly but too pushy. Upselling is skilfully done here - we were asked if we wanted a double pattie and wanted to share a coleslaw salad for two. No, we didn't want to, otherwise we would have ordered it that way. When the food arrives you will first be asked if you would like to capture the whole thing in a picture. After you've finished eating, you'll be invited to have tea on the house and asked to leave a review on Google. How are your prices determined? For a burger menu like this I would normally charge a maximum of €15-16. How do you get to €27 here? The tea on the house doesn't matter either. In the end, 31.XX was charged instead of 26.90 as discussed. Thank God we only came because of the Schlemmerblock - unfortunately the first and last time in this restaurant.

I think one of the previous recessions is true, that the recessions are probably bought because it's not that great there. Of course we waited until we could all eat together, but that had the disadvantage that the fries were cold. I can also agree that the menu is far too small and very difficult to see. Apart from that, the food is totally overpriced. You can still accept that it was pretty cold in the restaurant. But I don't think the store will last very long. It doesn't help that the staff is very friendly.

Kobes "Burger und Steak Restaurant" macht mit beim Schlemmerblock - Gutscheinbuch" , mit Angebot 2für 1 für das Hauptgericht!!! . Dann aber gibt es als Hauptgang kein Steak!! - sondern nur 300 g als Nachtisch - für über 60 Euro?? Wer will denn 300g Fleisch als Nachtisch??? Oder ist das nur ein Verkaufsgag - um das 2x1 zu umgehen?? Ich gehe davon aus , dass auch Kobes vom Verkauf des Gutscheinhefts profitiert und Geld bekommt. Wer dann wegen eines Steaks dieses Lokal besucht....... :(

Unfortunately, the dinner didn't convince us. The ambience is tried but unfortunately the location doesn't offer much. We were there in winter and every person who left or entered the local felt freezing cold. The service was great, no criticism. The food was average in my opinion. The burgers are probably made on the same grill as the lamb. This makes the meat taste extremely like lamb. This is of course bad if you don't want to eat lamb but rather beef. Price-performance is below average. Without the gourmet book I would be very upset.

Wir hatten über die Webseite für 18:30 Uhr reserviert. Das Essen dauerte ca. 25 Minuten bis es kam. Um 19:15 Uhr wurden wir aufgefordert den Platz zu räumen und an de Kasse zu bezahlen - neue Gäste würden schon auf den Platz warten. An ein zweites Getränk war nicht zu denken, da wir gerade noch schnell unser erstes Austrinken mussten.Das war das erste Mal in meinem Leben, daß ich und meine Frau -quasi- aus einem Lokal geworfen wurden. Essen (Burger mit Pommes) war gut und die Portion ausreichend groß um satt zu werden. Wenn ihr gemütlich Essen wollt und evtl. Noch einen Kaffee oder Cocktail bekommt ihr zeitlich nicht rein. Die Preise bewegen sich auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Yummy!! The burger tastes like it's 100% homemade and like it's grilled and charcoal. No standard :-) the portions are perfect and the service is really WOOOOW. My little dog was also given a very warm welcome and they made sure that I had a bench to sit on. Always happy ☺️

We had reserved via the website for 6:30 p.m. The food took about 25 minutes to arrive. At 7:15 p.m. we were asked to vacate the place and pay at the cash register - new guests would already be waiting for the place. A second drink was out of the question as we had to quickly finish our first drink. That was the first time in my life that me and my wife were -virtually- thrown out of a bar. Food (burger with fries) was good and the portion was big enough to fill you up. If you want a leisurely meal and maybe a coffee or cocktail, you won't be able to get in in time. The prices are at a high level.

On November 10, 2024, I was able to visit this restaurant accompanied by my family and equipped with the gourmet block - and I have to say, it was an experience that left a lasting impression on me. The pleasant atmosphere was noticeable as soon as you entered the restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting and stylish at the same time, just the right environment to enjoy a culinary evening in peace and quiet. After a pleasantly short wait, the actual culinary journey began with a selection of dishes that were obviously created from fresh, high-quality and regional ingredients. The taste reflected the quality of the ingredients and demonstrated the culinary team's love for authentic, regional flavors. The dish we ordered was prepared with craftsmanship and passion, which you could taste in every bite. Particularly noteworthy is the harmonious interplay of fresh ingredients and finely balanced spices, which created a special taste experience. Such attention to detail and hospitality is also reflected in the small gestures: At the end we received a round of tea “on the house” - a charming gesture that perfectly rounded off the visit. This kind of attentive service is rare and shows how much the guests are the focus here. All in all, the evening was a real feast for the senses. With a combination of culinary quality, regional connection and first-class service, this restaurant has managed to create an atmosphere that invites you to linger and come back. There simply cannot be such a distortion of reality on this platform*** We came here through the Schlemmerblock, which is why we only had to pay for one of the two burgers. What unfortunately only became apparent on site was that the steaks are not listed as a main course on the menu, which is why only burgers can be ordered from the gourmet block. It's a shame because we were already looking forward to the steaks. The ambience is okay, you sit very close to the other tables, which we didn't like that much. The waitresses were very nice, but also a bit intrusive. My plate was cleared away while my girlfriend was still eating, which is something I don't know from a restaurant. When that was the case, I was always asked if it could be cleared away, which unfortunately wasn't there either. We were asked if we wanted to have a souvenir picture taken of us and if it could also be posted on Instagram. At the end there was free tea and a request to leave a 5 star rating on Google Maps. That probably explains the disproportionate 5 star ratings. The food was quite good, but in our opinion too expensive for the price. We've had better burgers for less money before. You can get the fries at every snack bar. I can't say much about the steaks because we wanted to avoid disappointment based on what we saw at the neighboring tables and the prices on the menu. The drinks are only available in bottles and the refrigerators are free in the room like in every kebab stall/snack bar Conclusion: it's a classier snack bar with expensive prices
