I've always really liked the burgers. Damn was actually always my favorite burger shop in Ulm. I am a customer from the very beginning. Was there for several birthdays and even took the team picture. The patties have also become smaller, although the prices have repeatedly increased. I've been a customer since the beginning and used to be there up to 4 times a week. Waiting time is relatively long for self-service. On Saturdays up to 90 minutes. The extra bacon I paid for is always forgotten 50% of the time. A thorough cleaning wouldn't do any harm to the place, unfortunately it has now become really disgusting.

Waiting times are absolutely underground because the guys are anything but well organized. Burger below average - a shame.

The Chilli Cheese Burger felt like it only consisted of Tabasco. So it was like, well.

Very tasty burgers, with an optional gluten-free bun. Strong,!! The menus were ready for pick up very quickly and all at the same time so we could eat together. It was our first time here but definitely not the last time. In terms of price, there are cheaper burger restaurants but here the price and performance are right.

Citizens are actually nothing special. Rather mediocre. Ambience is cool. However, we would try something different in the future.

I've been eating here more or less regularly with friends and my wife for about 3 years now and every time it's a culinary delight. Ambience is great, good music, nice decor. The service is always friendly and personable. I can really recommend anyone who has never been here to visit the shop and if that happens then give the "Damn Mix mir was" a chance because it is always a creative culinary delight that you can't find anywhere else in burger shops.

Always used to be our favorite go-to burger shop, unfortunately it's gotten worse and worse over the months, patties aren't fried properly, the extra note that the meat is so great that you can eat it raw doesn't help either; Often ingredients are forgotten when ordering, it's just not as tasty as it used to be, it's a shame :(

It's been my trusted burger shop for several years, the staff are very friendly, the restaurant is decorated in a cool way and the food always tastes extremely good (order a mix for me), by far my favorite shop in the city 👌😊

Unfortunately not a good experience. When we ordered we were told it would take 30 minutes, nothing dramatic. After 50 minutes (20 minutes more than said) we got our burgers. All 5 rolls were dry and hard, the fries were cold as if they had been made 10 minutes ago, and the Garlic Fries even colder, really disappointing. If we hadn't already paid we would have left, but now we know where we would never go again.

Damn Burger in Ulm is really a highlight! The food is simply outstanding - every ingredient seems to have been chosen with the greatest care, and you can taste it. Whether it's a classic burger or one of the more creative variants, every taste is served here at the highest level. The ambience is another plus point. The location exudes a modern and at the same time cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The location is also perfectly chosen – central and easily accessible. I was particularly impressed by the comic wall and the VHS cassette shelf - absolutely a hit! The prices may seem a bit high at first glance, but the quality of the food and the overall experience definitely make up for it. So it's worth it in every way. The staff is particularly worth mentioning: consistently friendly and attentive, which makes the stay even more pleasant. In short, Damn Burger in Ulm is a must for all burger lovers and those who appreciate good food and a great atmosphere.

The two of us had lunch here today. Had a mini cheeseburger and a mix, both in the menu, one with fries and one with coleslaw. The food was consistently very tasty. Fries are already crispy, burgers are juicy and well topped. There was horseradish in the coleslaw, which not everyone will like. A note would be appropriate here, but it didn't bother us. It is also positive that there are different citizen sizes and that has a reasonable influence on the price (not half size for €1 less). Staff were friendly, food came quickly. The ambience is not typical, but still great. Prices are a little higher, but the store advertises regional products and I'm happy to pay more for a good burger.

Waited more than 30 minutes for my food. Burger was average.

There were 4 parties who waited 45 minutes for burgers. Food came at completely different times. Burgers not good, fries not good either, atmosphere next to garbage cans and in the dirty backyard, clientele questionable, reasons for good reviews sought in vain.

So, the food is just bad, boring, most uninspired: I don't understand the high rating. And the worst part is that they don't have alcoholic beer to forget the bad food!!! What type of burger joint does not have beer?!!

Mega shop, especially the onion rings were super crispy and really tasty. Burger was also very tight. If you are in Ulm, definitely check it out.

The Quarter Pounder Spicey was definitely a taste sensation. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same about the cheeseburger, which didn't quite live up to my expectations. Price wise it was acceptable. The ambience left a bit to be desired. However, the employees were very nice. Still, the space was a bit tight and the tables seemed oddly placed, which affected comfort.

If you're in the mood for milk rolls, you're welcome to go there. Coleslaw wasn't good either. Out of 3 people, all 3 were dissatisfied.

Loved it!! Amazing and even if the burgers look smaller, they are full and tasty and they will fill you up! A little bit pricey but i can understand why!

We really like the restaurant and the burgers. It's especially cool that you can design your burger according to your own wishes. What spoils the experience, however, is that ingredients that were specially ordered (e.g. cheese on a veggie burger/vegan burger) are often missing, even though they were also charged for. It's not about the few euros more, but also that the burger doesn't taste as good (without cheese, for example) Recently we have often been missing “normal” ingredients such as lettuce or tomatoes, even though nothing was “cancelled”.

At €57.50 for two meals and one onion ring, it's not exactly cheap, but the burgers were absolutely delicious, fresh and large, so you can definitely say it's good value for money. The guys at the checkout were friendly and the food came quickly.

Burgers are really great, really great quality for the price and not too busy because it's a bit hidden. Unfortunately the fries were a bit dry and not that fresh. Therefore unfortunately there is a deduction. Maybe it'll be better next time.

Hier ist sie nun, die erste Restaurantbewertung meines Lebens, verfasst in zarten Alter von 57 Jahren nach dem Besuch unzähliger Restaurants unterschiedlichster Qualität in vielen Teilen der Welt, und gewidmet ist sie einer Burger-Bude in Ulm. 4. April 2024, 18:30 Uhr, das Lokal ist fast leer, anwesend außer mir: Mitarbeiter 1, Mitarbeiter 2 (beide selten gleichzeitig) und eine Familie. Ich habe bei Mitarbeiter 1 einen Burger mit Pommes bestellt und (mit Karte) bezahlt. „Du darfst gerne durch Auswahl eines entsprechenden Knopfes Trinkgeld geben“ sagte Mitarbeiter 1 als er mir das blinkende Kartenterminal präsentierte. Nun finde ich diese Terminals, bei denen einem durch das Vorhalten blinkender Knöpfe das Geben von Trinkgeld ans Herz gelegt wird, bereits in einem normalen Restaurant leicht übergriffig. Ich gebe gerne und großzügig Trinkgeld, typischerweise 10-15%, aber dann aus eigenem Antrieb und für den (vorhandenen) Service, jedoch ungern über eine Reihe vordefinierter „Trinkgeldknöpfe“, mit denen versucht wird, psychologisch Druck auszuüben und gleich mal das Trinkgeld „voreinzustellen“ bzw. eine Trinkgeld-Vorauswahl anzubieten. Das finde ich verwirrend und nervig, sich durch das Menü durchkämpfen und eine Auswahl treffen bzw. den passenden Knopf suchen zu müssen. Ganz und gar unpassend finde ich solche Geräte aber dann, wenn ich den Service in Form von Auf- und Abtragen der Gerichte selbst übernehmen muss. „Ich möchte gerne einfach nur meine Karte hinhalten, um zu zahlen und nicht die Bedienung eines neuen Geräts lernen“ sagte ich daher zu Mitarbeiter 1, während ich mich fragte, in welcher Runde ich mit dem jungen Mann Brüderschaft getrunken hatte, weil er mich ja offenbar duzte. 15,40 EUR ist ganz schön viel für den simpelsten Burger mit Pommes in einer Bude mit Selbstbedienung dachte ich mir noch. Beim Warten und Anschauen des Belegs ist mir dann aufgefallen, dass neben Burger und Pommes EUR 1,50 für ein von mir nicht geordertes „Menü“ abgerechnet wurden (für die 1,50 EUR wäre beim Menü ein Getränk dabei). Als ich Mitarbeiter 2 darauf aufmerksam gemacht habe meinte er, sie werden das erstatten, aber erst mal machen sie mein Essen, ich dürfe mich gerne wieder setzen. Dann kam Mitarbeiter 1 mit meinem Burger und gab mir 1,50 EUR mit den Worten „und hier das Rückgeld“. Das fand ich in zweierlei Hinsicht bemerkenswert. Erstens weil es ja kein „Rückgeld“ war sondern die Herausgabe eines zuviel berechneten Betrages, und zweitens, weil Mitarbeiter 1, der ja die Bestellung aufgenommen hat, ebenso wie Mitarbeiter 2 es in keiner Weise für nötig befunden hat, irgendeine Art von Bedauern zu äußern oder gar das Wörtchen „Entschuldigung“ in den Mund zu nehmen. Das hat mich dann doch so geärgert, dass ich nach dem Essen und nach dem Erfüllen meiner Pflicht als Aushilfsservicekraft durch Rückgabe des Tabletts und Einsortieren von Besteck und Müll zur Theke gegangen bin und auf die Frage „War alles in Ordnung“ mit „nein“ geantwortet habe. Auf den fragenden Blick von Mitarbeiter 2 hin habe ich dann erläutert, dass ich es bereits nicht gut finde, wenn ohne zu nachzufragen aus einer klaren Bestellung eines Burgers mit Pommes abrechnungstechnisch ein um 1,50 EUR teureres „Menü“ wird, dass ich aber vor allem finde, dass dann zumindest eine Entschuldigung angebracht wäre. wenn man auf den Fehler aufmerksam gemacht wird. Nach einer fruchtlosen Diskussion, in der mir Mitarbeiter 2 weismachen wollte, Mitarbeiter 1 habe mich bestimmt einfach falsch verstanden, habe ich aufgegeben zu diesbezüglich zu widersprechen und nochmal klar festgehalten, warum ich eigentlich zur Theke gekommen bin: „Wenn man einen solchen Fehler zum Nachteil des Gastes macht und man dem Gast zuviel berechnet, dann ist meines Erachtens zumindest eine Entschuldigung angebracht, aber das scheint den Mitarbeitern hier offenbar ungeheuer schwerzufallen.“ Als Antwort kam: „Wie man in den Wald hineinruft….“. Da fehlten mir dann die Worte, denn ich hatte nun wirklich höflich vorgetragen und versucht, verständlich zu machen, worum es mir ging: Ein solcher Fehler kann schon mal vorkommen, aber wenn man zuviel abrechnet und darauf aufmerksam gemacht wird, dann sollte man sich dafür zumindest entschuldigen. Das gebietet meiner Meinung nach einerseits der Anstand und andererseits der Respekt vor dem Kunden/Gast. Stattdessen darauf zu beharren, eine Entschuldigung sei nicht erforderlich und sogar - ohne einen Hauch von Einsicht in eigenes Fehlverhalten - dem Gast die Verantwortung dafür zuzuschieben, dass man für den eigenen Fehler eine Entschuldigung verweigert, zeigt, dass es in diesem Lokal an beidem mangelt. Ich werde dieses Lokal daher nicht mehr besuchen und kann es auch nicht empfehlen.

We have enjoyed visiting the restaurant for years. The food tastes perfect as always. However, you now have to think twice about eating here. The prices for a normal menu (burger, fries including a drink) are just under €20. You pay extra for every extra request. The staff is also very slow and appears to be very unfriendly and demotivated towards their customers. The waiting time for our menu was about 1 hour, which was most likely due to the fact that only one employee was responsible for the food. Very disorganized... Unfortunately I can't give more than 3 stars.

I was also drawn back to Damn Burger three weeks ago. From previous visits I knew that I could eat delicious burgers here and eat cheap burgers. Unfortunately, the first thing that caught my eye was the price increase. Of course, the 19% is also noticeable here. Nevertheless, I unfortunately have to say that the whole concept of the friendly little burger joint no longer works so well if the burgers are smaller and more expensive than the competition. Damn Burger clearly loses the race here, especially when it comes to “big burgers”. The ambience is charming, but unfortunately the toilets are also authentically unhygienic. Luckily we weren't disappointed in terms of taste. The meat was juicy and the side dishes were delicious too. I was accompanied by my little cousin who was raving to himself. In this case, what bothered me the most that day was the service. We were more tolerated at the checkout. Hardly any effort was made to answer questions about the menu. I got annoyed when our burgers had already been on the counter for 10 minutes and I only noticed it when I wondered why it was taking so long this time. The only apology I got was “we called for your order 10 minutes ago, but you didn’t come”. Sorry, but none of us heard the announcement and the store was never full. We also just sat around the corner. As a restauranteur, I find it ridiculous that they didn't even bother to look. I thought the 10% tip I gave at the beginning was really undeserved. Conclusion: You won my little cousin as a customer, but you lost me.

Burgers taste good, if you only visit in the summer to sit outside. If you sit inside you can wash your clothes first. It smells very much like a deep fryer there.

Don't be deceived by the size of the burger, it will fill you up quite well. I had a really good experience there, the service was fast and the cashier was friendly. It is a really good place, and that was a damn good burger. I will for sure come back again.

I ordered two cheeseburgers yesterday. 20€ total, that's a proud sum for two cheeseburgers. The burger was topped with cucumber? Seriously? Sliced ​​cheese half melted? Flesh more pink than done. Einfach lecker! Frisch zubereitete Burger, auch Extrawünsche wurden einfach und unkompliziert berücksichtigt und umgesetzt! Die Pommes waren knusprig und ausreichend. Wir saßen zu siebt mit Kindern am langen Tisch in der Mitte und es gab eine interessante Dynamik durch wechselnde Tischnachbarn. Auch hier waren alle einfach unkompliziert Nach dem Essen roch die Kleidung ein bisschen nach Burger... 🤷

Essen war top. Mustafa bester Mann.

Joah, wer gute Burger aus Amerika kennt kann mit solchen nichts anfangen wobei er für deutsche Verhältnisse relativ gut war… SB Service in Kantinenschick. Kein Alkohol ! Berliner Kreuzberg Einrichtung Style sieht ganz gut aus Burger relativ teuer dür einen Double cheesbacon Burger rund 22 Euro ist schon happig !

Super leckere Burger und richtig toll ist- es gibt Glutenfreie Burger!!! Glutenfreies Essen ist in Ulm fast eine Rarität.

Ich möchte hier das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis meines teuren 16€ Burgers bewerten. Der Burger war für den Preis eher klein und es war kaum soße drauf. Er war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu einseitig, man hat nur das Fleisch und den Käse geschmeckt. Ich war schon in einigen Burgerläden in Europa essen. Aber für 16€ aber ich noch nie so etwas bekommen. Ich hatte mehr erwartet. Das Lokal hat ein angenehmes Ambiente. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Andere Produkte habe ich nicht probiert. Ich möchte nur diesen Burger bewerten den ich bestellt habe. Muss ich für diesen Preis nicht nochmal haben. Es war ein Doppel Cheeseburger mit allem.

Sehr gute Burger, Burger sehen am Anfang etwas klein aus. Ich bin sehr satt geworden. War sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen wieder.

Schmeckt schon gut, aber man muss alles selber machen. Essen wird nicht an den tisch gebracht, Getränk selber rausnehmen, aufstehen essen abholen, danach dass essen SORTIERT aufräumen und selber den müll darin entsorgen, schale trennen. Also wenn ich essen gehe und trinkgeld gebe erwarte ich schon das MINDESTE an SERVICE. Personal ist an sich als persönlichkeit nett..

Mir scheint als hätte Damn Burger seinen Zenit erreicht. Früher war es eine gute Adresse, mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern, leckerem und schnellen Essen und mit einer charmanten Einrichtung. Zu meinem Leidwesen muss ich zugeben, dass die Qualität und die Charme von früher nicht mehr vorhanden ist. Ich habe zwei Burger bestellt, davon einer im Menü. Unverschämt, dass man schon bei der Bestellung aufgefordert wird Trinkgeld zu zahlen. Trinkgeld ist für mich ein extra, für gute Leistungen und nicht verpflichtend. Wartezeit 40 Minuten. In der Zeit hat der Nachbartisch seine 4 Portionen im Abstand von jeweils 10 min. bekommen. Eigentlich wollten diess Gäste zusammen essen. Qualität des Menüs leider nicht gut. Das Fleisch war ok, aber stellenweise kalt. Die Pommes Frites waren günstigste Fertigware. Die Portionen waren lachhaft. In einem Restaurant mit hochwertiger Kochkunst wäre dies noch vertretbar, aber nicht in einem Burgerladen. Hier möchte man satt werden. Kurzes Fazit: Es war laut, die Tische waren schmutzig, ich wusste nie so genau wann mein Essen kommt. Die Wartezeit war zu lang und alles wirkte chaotisch und umorganisiert.

Personen: 4 Wartezeit: 20min für 3 Personen, die vierte Person einfach 40Minuten. Auslastung? Nicht mal halb voll. War eine Schlange an der Kasse? Ja! Weil der Herr eine rauchen ging, mitten im Prozess. Ob er wohl weiß wie man die Kasse bedient? Nein! Änderungen der Bestellung noch bei der Bestellung nicht möglich. Claudio(Linus) hatte wohl sichtlich keine Lust. Burger war sehr gut, der Koch hat sein bestes gegeben, wo oder wer das Problem ist, ist hier ganz klar.

Was der Ruff in München ist der Damn Burger in Ulm. Einfach mega lecker egal ob Burger oder Pommes und wer bei einem M oder einem BK landet ist selbst Schuld. Danke, wir kommen natürlich wieder.

Pommes waren sehr gut, der bbq burger ever okay

Ein guter Standard Burger. Meiner Meinung nach aber ein Ticken zu teuer was die chilli cheese Pommes mit beef angeht. Keine besonderen Soßen, sondern nur Ketchup. Fleisch war leider für meinen Geschmack nicht saftig genug. Ambiente gefiel mir sehr.

Immernoch der beste Burger in der Stadt!

Damn Burger hat meiner Meinung nach wirklich den besten Burger in Ulm. Als wir ankamen wurde uns das auch nochmal bewusst, als uns bereits an der Kasse freundlich gesagt wurde, dass es 30 bis 45 min dauern könnte. Aber meine beste Freundin war zu Besuch und ich wollte ihr diesen Burger zeigen, also haben wir gesagt "kein Problem" und haben bestellt. Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön und das Personal nicht nur nett, nein man merkt auch, dass sie Spaß an ihrem Job haben. Schlussendlich haben wir glaube ich 1h45min gewartet, aber meine beste Freundin, mein Freund und ich waren uns einig: es hat sich sowas von gelohnt. Meine beste Freundin möchte sogar unbedingt wieder hin, wenn sie wieder kommt. Also Danke für euer immer leckeres Essen und den freundlichen Service, macht weiter so 🤤🎉

War alles an sich super , nur leider wurden die Zutaten vertauscht (mal wieder) meine Verlobte wollte kein chilli ich schon , sie wollte Speck und der war bei meinem burger drauf, auf nen Hinweis meinerseits wurde es einfach mit ok bestätigt, eig sollte man darauf eingehen und nicht nur Ok sagen . Geschmacklich also gut aber man hätte halt gerne den Burger den man bestellt .

Joa, kann man machen, muss man aber nicht. 42 € für 2 Burger jeweils mit Beilage + Getränk und 1 Beilage extra ist schon ein happiger Preis. Da erwartet man leckere große Burger, bekommt aber einen kleinen Mini Burger, kaum größer als ein McDonald's Cheeseburger nur mit etwas mehr Belag. Geschmacklich okay aber kein Highlight. Die Beilagen sind zwar in Ordnung aber definitiv zugekauft, was also keinen grußartigen Aufwand bei der Zubereitung bedeutet. Alles in allem leider kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt leider gar nicht. Die Patties waren komplett trocken durchgebraten und die Süßkartoffel Pommes nicht knusprig. Ich habe hier schonmal gegessen, da war es ein wenig besser. Meines Erachtens ein Laden mit viel Potential, wenn man mehr auf Qualität stand Quantität setzt. Die Buns haben viel Verbesserungpotenzial.

Wirklich super Burger es geht relativ schnell und geschmacklich ist es weiter zu empfehlen (Besser wie Qmuh). Empfehlenswert

Waited 65 minutes for a burger in rush hour. Are you kidding? Burger is okey not the best but not bad either. At the end i think this place is overrated.
