A classic smoking bar from the last century. A must for everyone over 50. Hearty, delicious food and lots of friendliness. For me, a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage. Please don't give up!

Since I am a regular guest here for work, I am always happy about the good hotel on the one hand and the even better cuisine on the other. As a hotel: Good breakfast with everything you need. The rooms are also good, I can only speak about the Alpenblick rooms, but a little more care would be appropriate for the curtains, for example, they have been looking dirty for a good two years. Otherwise there is nothing major to complain about. As a restaurant: Very tasty food, never been disappointed! Can highlight the Zurich Geschnetzeltes as a personal favorite.

Excellent Chinese cuisine, friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. Close to having a weekly visit there.

We had dinner at the Landgasthof Auerhahn today and were simply thrilled. The food was so delicious, the service was friendly and on point and the ambience was cozy and warm. The lamb's lettuce was the best I've ever eaten. Then I had the beef steak with spaetzle and Béarnaise sauce. For dessert, mousse au chocolat with fresh fruit and everything was just delicious and to the point. Thank you for the lovely evening, we'll be happy to come back!

As always, very tasty good food. Not many people today Tuesday. Therefore, almost family-like Ambiance and good service as always.

Super fast and very friendly service. Very tasty food, the toilets are very old but clean. I had a lunch menu with salad (I could have also chosen soup) and main course tagliatelle Bolognese for 12.90. I'd love to come back.

Rooms are large and clean. Price is not high. Good alternative in case you are looking for an economic hotel near Basel.
