Die Preise sind für Deutsche Verhältnisse teuer. Aber das Essen ist ausgezeichnet (vor allem die Ente ist phänomenal) und die Auswahl ist super, auch bei den Getränken.

Dieses ausgezeichnete chinesische Restaurant verwöhnt seine Gäste mit authentischen, frisch zubereiteten Gerichten, die traditionelle Aromen und hochwertige Zutaten vereinen. Die Speisen werden heiß und aromatisch serviert und zeugen von der sorgfältigen Zubereitung und der ausgewogenen Würzung. Ein Muss für alle Liebhaber der chinesischen Küche. Die Bedienung ist hervorragend, das Angebot sehr umfangreich und die gemütliche Atmosphäre lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Eine Tischreservierung ist sehr empfehlenswert! Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen hinter dem Haus zur Verfügung. Alternativ ist eine Anreise mit dem öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, Bus Nr. 38, möglich. Die Bushaltestelle, Grenzacher Horn, befindet sich direkt vor der Tür.

Ganz normales Chinesisch. Nichts Besonderes.

Sehr schlechte Bedienung – extrem hektisch, unorganisiert und unkompetent. Bei einer Bestellung für 7 Erwachsene wurde sich nichts notiert, was sich im Nachhinein deutlich bemerkbar gemacht hat: Nahezu alles kam falsch an den Tisch. Wir hatten mehrheitlich gebratene Nudeln mit Hähnchen bestellt, serviert wurde jedoch fast ausschließlich Reis. Auf den Hinweis hin wirkte das Personal überfordert und wenig einsichtig, eine vernünftige Lösung gab es nicht. Stattdessen wurde der Fehler heruntergespielt. Die Qualität des Essens war ebenfalls enttäuschend. Die Reisportionen waren lachhaft klein, zudem extrem trocken und lieblos zubereitet. Geschmacklich war das Ganze absolut kein Highlight, sondern eher eine Zumutung. Besonders negativ hervorzuheben ist die Nummer 35: Dieses Gericht kann ich wirklich niemandem empfehlen. Der Geschmack war derart versalzen, dass man sprichwörtlich in einen Salzberg gebissen hat – völlig ungenießbar. Insgesamt war der Besuch eine große Enttäuschung. Schlechter Service, falsche Bestellungen, geringe Portionsgrößen und mangelhafte Qualität – hier passt leider gar nichts zusammen. Wer Wert auf gutes Essen und kompetente Bedienung legt, sollte diesen Laden lieber meiden und sich die Zeit und das Geld sparen.

Sehr authentisches Chinesisches Restaurant. Nettes Personal und sehr gutes Essen.

Top chinesisches Essen – frisch, authentisch und richtig gut gekocht. Die Gerichte kommen heiß auf den Tisch, sind aromatisch und wirken nicht angepasst, sondern traditionell. Gute Zutaten, saubere Zubereitung und ausgewogene Würzung. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die echtes chinesisches Essen mögen.

Ich hatte leider keine Zeit zum Fotografieren, da ich so schnell gegessen habe. Als Vorspeise kann ich die gegrillten Fleischspieße wärmstens empfehlen; sie waren köstlich und hatten eine leicht typisch xinjiangische Note. Als Hauptgerichte empfehle ich die Ente und das brutzelnde Rindfleisch. Als herzhafte Beilage sollten Sie unbedingt den gebratenen Reis probieren. Der Service war ausgezeichnet und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war sehr entspannt.

Dieses Restaurant hat mich diskriminiert, weil ich schwarz bin. Man hat mich als illegalen Einwanderer beschimpft. Die asiatische Rezeptionistin dachte, ich würde um Geld bitten, und hat mich rausgeschmissen. Ich werde nie wieder hingehen.

Tolles Restaurant, vom Anfang bis zum Ende. Wir wurden freundlich von der netten Dame empfangen, begrüsst und zum Tisch geführt, obwohl wir um 20:00 reserviert hatten und wir ca 20min feüher waren,war der Tisch schon frei. Der Service war auch absolut super sehr nett und natürlich das Essen man wurde sat und es war lecker die Ente war perfekt und auch das Dessert das war die beste Gebackene Banane die ich hatte. Wir kommen wieder, allein schon wegen dem netten Service.

Yesterday we were at Kung Du again. The ducks were very good, especially for the drunks who were flambéed at the table. Unfortunately, the service was a bit unfriendly this time. I don't understand how the customer is king. It was also very rushed, because we had barely gotten to the table and we were already choosing our meal. We couldn't even choose our drinks. At 6:00 p.m. there was almost no one there. Nevertheless, we'll be back; there are days when you're otherwise stressed.

We were there for the first time yesterday. We waited at least 20 minutes for the waiter to even acknowledge us. Then another 10 minutes for drinks, and finally 25 minutes for the food, which was good. Many others who came after us were served faster than us (two women). We also had to wait to pay. Very tedious... So, we won't be coming again!

Restaurant located on the boarder between Switzerland and German. Decent food. Their best dish was the vegetable noodles. The service was good.

Visited the KungFu House for the first time. The service was very friendly and attentive. We can't complain about the price or quality. For just under €120 for an aperitif, starter (KungFu platter), delicious duck, dessert, drinks, and coffee/tea for two people, it's absolutely reasonable. 100% the best Chinese restaurant close to Basel - absolutely fresh food without msg. Mr. Chi, the restaurant owner and his family pride themselves for serving healthy, freshly cooked meals. Customer-friendly, family-friendly, heart-felt, homey atmosphere. Reservation recommended on weekends, and walk-ins possible during weekdays. Price value absolutely justified. Bon Appetite! P.s. Bring your own chopsticks 🥢 if you prefer to eat with them. Public transportation close by.

Very expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. The food was okay, but having to pay €1.80 to pack up leftover food isn't very customer-friendly.

I caught food poisoning. The food was expensive by German standards - for €6 you would expect more than simple frozen spring rolls. Overall, the food was boring and too expensive (around €40 per person with starter and drink). The service was very nice and the knowledge of German was sufficient, but unfortunately that is irrelevant if the food doesn't taste good.

We have eaten at the Kung Fu House several times now. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and attentive! The Kung Fu House was recommended to us and we can recommend it without hesitation, again and again!

Very good Chinese restaurant, I have been eating there for years and have never been disappointed. 3 beauties and the ducks are recommended, but everyone has to find out for themselves, including when it comes to spiciness. If you don't like it that spicy then you should tell the waiter when ordering.

Wonderful and varied fresh Chinese cuisine with many house specialties that are not on the menu in the next Chinaresti just around the corner. Here is a Genghiskhan platter with several types of meat. Spicy seasoned with lots of fresh vegetables and rice, wonderful. Tradition is very important here... The boss, Mr. Chi, gives you a friendly handshake when you say goodbye and thanks you for the visit. A small but very thoughtful and appreciated gesture. It was very good, I'll definitely come back.

We were recommended the KungFu House some time ago and finally got around to testing it today. As always, we approach the matter completely neutrally. Parking situation is great. When we arrived at the restaurant, we luckily got a table for two, even though the restaurant was very busy. As a starter we had spring rolls and prawns...could have been a little more special and seasoned, but were quite okay. Main course we had mango duck and Genghis Khan platter. Portions were very nice, decently sized and totally delicious. Taste and spiciness perfect. We would especially like to mention the friendliness of ALL the employees we came into contact with this evening. We haven't experienced that often, and it's the deciding factor that we'll definitely come here again. Thank you for the service!!!

The restaurant is my absolute favorite! The food is always of high quality, as is the service.

Beside from a sub-standard food. This restaurant has no sympathy to family with children. We dined in, with our 2 year old daughter, not 3 not 4 not 5. and at this very age, they run, jump and make noise randomly. and the more you control or reprimand them, the more they do it further. They asked us to remove her shoes , so we did. and instead of providing us hospitality, they kept on being impolite and never understood the behaviour of a 2yo child. As if the restaurant is a high class fine dining one but it's not , its a lousy no customer restaurant. and it will never shame us if we don't speak german, so that's how you treat your customer who doesn't speak the language? FYI we are currently in B2 level of german, and both passed B1 Deutsch Prüfung that's how we became permanent residents in Switzerland. What's shameful is the restaurant's tasteless food and lame service. They don't speak english as well, what an embarrasment. This restaurant has no clue what a restaurant is. Waste of time and money. Beware of these obnoxious Chinese people.

Nice looking restaurant with friendly and competent service. The food, however, was rather mediocre for our group. Less because of the quality and more because of the taste. Among other things, we had duck, which didn't have a strong taste of its own, but we also had chicken with noodles, although the noodles had an unpleasant woody taste (I have no idea how to describe that - they were at least not tasty and very salty). The group feedback is therefore clear: half thought the food was ok, the other half wouldn't eat there again. But without exception, everyone agreed that the prices are very high. Sure, you take advantage of the situation that you're right on the Swiss border, but if the taste/quality doesn't keep up, the prices shouldn't be too high either.

Pass auf! This "Restaurant" has a very bad and impolite service and totally not a child friendly "Restaurant" . and most off all, the worst chinese food i ever had. Zero value for money. No wonder why the restaurant was empty before we dine-in. We will definitely not come back and won't recommend.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, with wooden decorations. My menu was good, even if it didn't quite suit my taste. My wish for spiciness and chopsticks was implemented. The portion was medium sized. The price was okay at 17 euros. The service was very friendly, but card payments were only possible from 30 euros, so 1 point was deducted from the service. Some of the toilets were clean.

Food is ok for price. We've actually been there several times. This time as a birthday party with 10 people. The food didn't come for a while, which wasn't a bad thing. we left 300 euros lying around. Unfortunately, at the end we heard the sentence that our children were too loud - the 15 month old toddler ate and then from then on she was no longer at the table but was walking outside with grandma and the 4 year old was loud for a moment at the end because he was calling for mom I don't think such a statement is possible - it was really very unfriendly! Besides, other children were really louder and it was just a family meal. It's a shame - it was the last time here - we used to love coming...

The (lunch) food was rather bland and the meat quality was supbar. We used to eat there before, maybe it's simply better at dinner time, but we will not be returning.

Best Duck in Town. Trotz dem Andrang, (es gibt auch weniger volle Tage) ist die Qualität, die Präsentation und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft des Inhaberpaars ungebrochen auf hohem Niveau. Wir besuchen das Restaurant KungFu seit Jahren regelmässig!!

Um 13:00 war das Familien- und Freundestreffen für eine Geburtstagsfeier geplant. Da sich wegen des um ca. 20 min. verspäteten Eintreffens eines Gastes aus einem Altersheim die Aufnahme der Bestellungen etwas verzögerte, wurden wir im Verlauf der Mahlzeit zweimal auf die Schliessung der Küche aufmerksam gemacht. Dies bedeutete, dass wir nach 14:15 h - vielleicht war es auch bereits etwas später - keine Nachspeisen mehr bestellen konnten. Die Speisen waren von guter Qualität, reichlich und schön präsentiert - für Vegetarier ist das Angebot mit nur zwei Hauptspeisen allerdings nicht sehr reichhaltig, Fischliebhaber kommen dort auch nicht auf die Rechnung. Wir verliessen das Restaurant nach ca. 15:00 durch den Hinterausgang, da war niemand mehr vom Personal anwesend. Für mich persönlich war dies eine Première, im Hinblick auf dieses Lokal wohl auch eine Dernière.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Vorspeise war leider nicht so toll (wantan waren recht trocken), aber der Hauptgang mit Ente war sehr lecker. Portionen nicht überdimensional aber ausreichend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich betrat das Haus um1340 Uhr ab 1400 isst normalerweise geschlossen wurde trotzdem noch mit Essen bedient und habe das Lokal um ca 1430 verlassen das finde ich super

Drei verschiedene Gerichte, die alle ungefähr gleich schmeckten das Cola hatte keine Kohlensäure und schmeckte im offen Ausschank richtig lasch. Es war kurz vor Feierabend deswegen verstehe ich das Personal, welches trotz später Stunde noch freundlich war. Ich werde mal zu früheren Stunde dort essen gehen.

Wir waren 4 Personen und haben hervorragend gegessen...gemütlich auf der sehr schönen gedeckten Terrasse...die Ente war so wie sie heisst: knusprig und megalecker👍wir waren nicht das erstemal aber auch nicht das letztemal hier...und herzlichen Dank an das super nette und herzliche Wirtepaar...❤️

Das Restaurant befindet sich gleich an der Grenze zur Schweiz. Parkplätze gibt es hinter dem Restaurant. Das Personal ist äusserst herzlich und zuvorkommend! Unbedingt reservieren - vor allem am Wochenende. Die Teller und Platten werden schön präsentiert. Reis ist inklusive.

Viele Kenner nennen das 'Kung Fu' eines der besten chinesischen Restaurants im ganzen Dreiländereck. Authentisch, kein asiatischer Mix. Besonders gute Noten erhalten hier die Gerichte mit Ente. Hervoreagendes Kosten/Nutzen-Verhältnis. Gäste sind überwiegend aus der Schweiz. Die Grenze ist nur 50 Meter entfernt am Hochrhein gelegen. Man kann auch in grossem Garten in frischer Luft essen. Sehr grosser Parkplatz.

Sehr nette Bedienung und für Fleischesser sicherlich feines Essen. Für Vegetarier siehts anderst aus. Praktisch keine Angebote und die Nuddeln mit Gemüse wäre wohl eher als Beilage gedacht, als für ein Hauptgang. Für Vegetarier nicht zu empfehlen. Preise sind auf Schweizer Niveau. Location mit Garten sehr angenehm.

Dieses Restaurant ist zu 100%, weiter zu empfehlen. Essen sehr gut und preislich bezahlbar. Liegt unmittelbar nach der Grenze und hat einen großen Parkplatz. Die Wirtsleute und das Personal, sind sehr freundlich. Ein Tisch sollte unbedingt im voraus Reserviert werden.

Gut besuchtes China Restaurant, direkt an der Riehener Grenze zu Grenzach-Wyhlen. Eher europäisch-asiatische Küche ausgerichtet auf Schweizer Publikum. Ente ist zu empfehlen, bei unserem Besuch wirkte der Service ausgelastet. Leider wurden Speisen verwechselt und oder vergessen. Für uns gibt es in entsprechendem Umfeld zu präferierende Alternativen.

Wir waren am Karfreitag da, und wir waren begeistert. Eine liebevolle Bedienung, super essen und das Tüpfchen auch dem I war für uns, dass meine Mutter welche viele Lebensmittelallergien hat am meisten auf Glutamat in diesem Restaurant essen konnte ohne probleme. Die Küche verzichtet auf Geschmacksverstärker, dadurch wird frisch gekocht. Wenn meine Mutter wieder lust auf chinesisches Essen hat, werden wir auf jedenfall das Kung Fu wieder besuchen.

Waren schon ein paar Mal in diesem Lokal und immer zufrieden aber gestern war es war bumsvoll und der Service waren sehr gestresst und unfreundlich das muss ich glaube nicht mehr haben!

Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und einem Kind zu ersten Mal im Kung Fu Haus. Wir bestellten Ente in verschiedenen Zubereitungsvarianten. Die Enten waren sehr lecker und die Portionen haben gepasst. Der separat bestellte, gebratene Reis hätte allerdings etwas mehr sein können. Nichts desto trotz, uns hat's geschmeckt und wir werden wiederkommen.
