Hotel Adler in Grenzach-Wyhlen

Everything was old and dirty, the shower stall was broken. The room smelled. You could hear everything that was happening outside. The promised breakfast wasn't there.

We booked a room at the hotel from May 30th to 31st for €84. The lady in the restaurant where we picked up the room key was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the rooms didn't match the pictures on booking.com. They were very worn and not really clean. The furnishings are dated and damaged. This urgently needs to be repaired. Unfortunately, our sink was also clogged.

Rooms are large and clean. Price is not high. Good alternative in case you are looking for an economic hotel near Basel.

Stayed here for 3 nights. A nice enjoyable stay The room was spacious, very clean, with an en suite bathroom and shower, with nice hot water....... The bed was comfy, although the sheets were very short........an easy mistake I think for a Chinese person to make, cough! The Wifi was very fast, important for me and my online work The location was great, in the town and also quite near to Basel, via the bus, stop only ten minutes away. The staff were friendly, and the owner is a lovely, friendly woman, who was kind enough to let me stay a little longer than the designated check out time of 12.00 And the price of 50 euros a night (without breakfast) was very good. Recommended
