When the weather is nice, I really enjoy visiting the Schlotzeria. I've already tried a lot of things on the menu. After the excellent ice cream, feel free to stay a little longer for a delicious drink. 🙂 The staff is super friendly and I always feel very comfortable. Perfect. I'm already looking forward to future visits.

The ice cream is very tasty, the selection is sometimes exceptional and delicate! However, here's a friendly hint: the sound makes the music! We walked down the street and wanted to get an ice cream to go, according to the internet the ice cream parlor closes at 7 p.m. At 7:22 p.m. the door was still open and a guest came out with an appetizing ice cream, which suggested to us that we might still give it a try. Just arrived at the entrance, a lady said very loudly and very annoyed: we've been closed since 7 p.m., under no circumstances should you sit outside... No, no! We shared that we just wanted some ice cream on hand anyway. The lady granted us this again, pointing out that we were not allowed to sit outside under any circumstances. As already written above: the sound makes the music! If you don't want to have any more guests, you should simply close the door.

The three of us ordered three different ice cream variations. The ice cream quality is average. Unfortunately the employees were unfriendly. The negative highlight, however, was when I was charged €3.50 (!) for a glass of tap water.

That was the first and last time I was there. I just waited 20 minutes until I could order and then waited another 30 minutes until I got my order. If it had been busy, I would have understood it but there was nothing going on! Customers arrived later and they got their orders first while I still had to wait. Then I was looked at like I was a beast, something like that!!! I ran out of patience and then asked an employee that I wanted my order. She then brought it to me with the statement: “We forgot it.” I'd rather drive 30 minutes longer than go there for ice cream!!!!!

It's a shame that sometimes you just don't get served. We've been here several times and each time we wait forever. Today we left again after 15 minutes, someone came out three times and cleared away, but this person apparently had no interest.

The service is excellent. Ice cream, waffles and cocktails are very tasty 😊 I recommend 😊

The Schlotzeria - top ice cream! Since I'm from the area, I go to the Schlotzeria at least once a month. I usually have a coffee and an ice cream, which is of top quality and tastes very good. So far I have always been warmly welcomed and served by the staff. Thank you! See you soon!

Please read to the end, First of all: the ice cream is really very tasty :) , BUT: I've eaten ice cream here several times now, the way the one lady treats and speaks to her employees is really the last thing. You can really feel how intimidated the people behind the counter are. She also doesn't give the guests any kind looks and when I said a friendly "Hello" I only received a snide look. The woman is in the wrong industry! The service behind the counter was very nice 👍

Whether sunshine 🌞 or rain ☔️ there is always a way to eat and enjoy the ice cream 🍨.

The older woman at the service was extremely unfriendly and aggressive. Her attitude towards the customers was shocking and completely inappropriate. The ice cream was pretty good, but the service marred the experience. The young men behind the counter were very nice and accommodating. Her positive attitude couldn't compensate for the older woman's loud and unfriendly manner. The older woman was also extremely rude to her own employees. She constantly insulted the employees and spoke to them in a derogatory tone. You had the feeling of being in slave times. Recommendation to go elsewhere for a treat with good customer service. Many thanks to the friendly staff at other locations for the good service.

A friend booked this hotel through an online platform. It was clearly filtered as WiFi necessary on the search terms and this "hotel" was a hit. There was never any internet available on site. We commented the issue with other guest who had the same problem. Management appeared only 10h later to explain they have an ISP issue. But no compensation was ever offered. Cleaning lady spoke a lot and loud if she met you on the stairs, no care about disturbing other guests. In the end, she was probably trying to explain that she would only do bedrooms once a day, because my friend's was never done during the stay. Remote management is comfortable when everything is ok. When troubles arise, it is always good to have a friendly fave to talk to. This was never the case.

My wife and I waited over 45 minutes for our order (iced coffee and 2 ice creams). After 50 minutes we left without seeing our order. Other guests came after us and got their orders.

A very kind woman works there, she even looks after the dogs and brings water for them. Their ice cream tastes good.

Terrible old hag. The staff is terrible and disastrous. The more detailed description will follow. Just don't go there, not recommended at all!!!

Spent a night at the Schlotzeria! Everything was top notch. Room was clean and quiet despite being on the street. Friendly staff in the Schlotzeria. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the ice cream but it all looked very delicious!! I'd love to come back!

Sehr sehr gutes Eis, mit super freundlichem Personal. Preis Leistung ist für mich auch sehr in Ordnung, Parkplätze sind auch nicht weit entfernt. Meine Favoriten, Blutorange Roibosh und Piemonteser Haselnuss 🤤

Fijn overnachting hotel op weg naar Italië. Snelle in en uitcheck sleutel ligt in de kluis. Als die niet werkt helpt de dame uit de IJssalon. Mooie schone geluiddichte kamer. Voor de deur parkeren. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Wij hebben dit hotel zonder ontbijt geboekt maar dat kan wel dan moet je naar een nabij gelegen hotel.

Das Eis ist einfach lecker und frisch. Es kommen oft neu Sorten dazu. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist allerdings Kokos, welches ich vor eigenen Tage probiert habe. Die Location ist gemütlich und perfekt für ein heißen Nachmittag gedacht.

Beste Eisdiele in der Region. Der Maxi-Spaghetti-Eisbecher ist fast nur zu zweit bezwingbar aber sehr zu empfehlen, gibt auch tolle Torten und leckeren Kaffee. Ich bin oft im Sommer dort nach der Arbeit, gerne auch drinnen bei der Klimaanlage. Der Service ist immer top und bei Stammgästen werden sich auch Präferenzen gemerkt. Man kann mit Karte zahlen. Wenn ich Gäste habe, lasse ich diese im Hotel oben wohnen und die sind dann auch immer zufrieden.

Ich bin nicht das erste mal bei Schlotzeria. Und positiv ist das Eis, welches uns bisher immer gut geschmeckt hat. Aber beim Thema Hygiene gibt es hier viel nachzuholen. Wir haben uns an einen Tisch draußen gesetzt, welches noch nicht gesäubert wurde nach vorherigen Gästen. Die Kellnerin kam nach ein paar Minuten die Treppe runter mit einem feuchten Tuch und hat erstmal damit das Treppengeländer beim runterlaufen abgewischt. Danach hat sie mit diesem Tuch unseren Tisch abgewischt und die Menükarte. Wir konnten bereits riechen, dass das Tuch auch bereits gestunken hatte und in der Mitte dunkler als am Rand. Bitte, achtet mehr auf die Hygiene. Es wäre schade, wenn deswegen euch die Kunden weg laufen.

Tolle Location in Grenzach. Fantastisches, selbstgemachtes Eis, Frühstück, Mittags leckere Kleinigkeiten wie Lachsbagel, Antipasti-Teller, Krabbenbrot. Alles sehr lecker. Außerdem Tagessüppchen. Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen und drinnen. Ab 12.00h geöffnet. Mo-Fr bis 19h, Sa+So bis 20h.

Kamers superschoon en comfortabel. De sleutel kon opgehaald via een sleutelkastje waar je via de mail een code voor kreeg. Zo check je dus ook uit. Erg makkelijk. Tegenover is een parkeerplaats waar je tussen 19- 7 gratis kan parkeren.

Nun ich war in der Cafeteria zu Gast. Absolut leckeres Eis und einen schön servierten Espresso mit in Grenzach. Sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienungen zu absolut fairen Preisen.

Die Schlotzeria (Eisdiele) in Grenzach hat super leckeres Eis, ich gehe gerne hin. Nicht perfekt gelegen, da direkt an der Hauptstraße, dennoch bin ich froh, dass wir so eine gute Eisdiele haben! Der Service ist durchwachsen. Wenn nicht viel los ist, läuft alles gut, ansonsten dauert es teils ziemlich lange und das Falsche wird serviert. Ich hoffe, das verbessert sich. Da das Eis aber wirklich lecker und richtig gut ist und der Service eigentlich auch nett, gehe ich sehr gerne hin!

The local was very nice, good food, desserts and coffee. The panini was very good, fresh and a bit crunchy. Delicious! The place is quiet, has outside tables and inside.

Moderne, comfortabele kamers. Geen contact met personeel en geboekte ontbijt bleek er toch niet bij te zitten. Kostte 15 euro pp. Jammer want dat maakte het een slechte ervaring.

Hat die Marktlücke der fehlenden Eisdiele besetzt. Service ist freundlich und schnell. Qualität ist super. Gehen gerne hier unser Eis essen oder auch holen zum Schlecken unterwegs.

Ich war gestern das erste Mal dort. Ich muss sagen, dass ich den Hype überhaupt nicht verstehe. Man sitzt sich fast schon auf dem Schoß weil es so eng bestuhlt ist. Gefühlt kommt dort ein Kindergarten nach dem anderen rein. Man wartet echt lange auf sein Eis und die Preis-Leistung war mies… Ich war von meinem Tartofu Becher maßlos enttäuscht:( Das Eis war lecker aber wahnsinnig vom Hocker gehauen hat es mich nicht. Und dafür 9€ ist heftig. Das Ambiente an der Hauptstraße dämpfte meine Lust nach meinem Eisbecher leider auch enorm. Fazit: schön dass es in G-W wieder eine Eisdiele gibt. Vielleicht versuche ich es nochmal aber nur wenn wenig los ist. Die vielen Leute waren echt schlimm!

Eine Eisdiele in Grenzach ist eine tolle Sache. Die Lage ist bestens und das Eis schmeckt. ….und nun kommt das ABER :) Leider glänzt die Eisdiele nicht mit Öffnungszeiten sondern eher mit Schließungszeiten. Selten so oft vor verschlossener Türe gestanden wie dort. Die Mitbewerber im Umland wird’s wohl freuen. Die verärgerte Kundschaft allerdings nicht. Möchte noch erwähnen dass diese Bewertung nichts mit dem Hotelbetrieb zu tun hat. Über diesen kann ich keine Aussage treffen. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn… wenn offen dann gut 👍
