A very clear 5-star establishment. We have now tried 3 menus. A celebration! And such perfect service. Cheers! To excess in a historic building from the 12th century. Connoisseur heart, what more could you want?

We were at Villa Lina for the second time today. The beef fillet with potato gratin was disappointing. For 31 euros we would have expected more. The fillet tasted unseasoned and was gray on the edge and very dry. There was way too much pepper in the sauce. The gratin was very little, about two forks, and tasted bland. Upon request, which we made as soon as the plate was brought and we saw the tiny portion, we were given a second helping of the gratin, but it only came so late that the plate was already empty. We were not given any apology or understanding. The walnut ravioli was very salty and the pasta dough was too cooked, the portion was small, 6 pieces. There were four of us and we had to wait almost 1.5 hours for the main course. The guests at the next table arrived after us and had already finished dessert when our food arrived. When asked, this was justified by the fact that we had a small starter salad. No apology here either. We can't understand that. Every question we asked was met with incomprehension and a bit of annoyance. For two main meals, a starter salad and two drinks, we paid 68 euros. All in all, neither the service nor the food was good and we won't be coming back. As a paying guest, you want to feel welcome and not like a nuisance and almost like a supplicant.

Karl Schwemmle and the Hotel Vinothek Lamm in Bad Herrenalb-Rotensol: these are two quality concepts with great appeal far into the region and beyond. Being able to successfully pamper people in this somewhat remote location for so many decades deserves the highest recognition. What else can you say? The lamb shines with a price-performance ratio that was not thought possible. Where unfortunately many other restaurateurs rely on viable quality at impressive prices, Lamm delivers amazing things at a remarkable price. What ends up on the plate here is of the highest regional quality. The service is excellent. The fact that the employees also feel very comfortable is reflected in their very long tenure with the company. I have been a regular guest at Lamm's for almost two decades now. From weddings, big birthdays, family celebrations and seminars, I experienced many top-level highlights there. And the service was always friendly, courteous and attentive. The sight of the wine cellar alone is worth the trip. Keep it up and preserve the soul of the lamb: excellent food quality, the feel-good atmosphere in the “parlor” as well as the love and dedication for your guests. I always enjoy coming back!

Delicious Rösti like in Switzerland.

After tobogganing in Dobel, we treated ourselves to a refreshment in the monastery barn. We were there for the first time and were thrilled. Great food, great service and the ambience is just amazing. My recommendation: Roasted beef liver cubes in balsamic jus with fried potatoes and a salad plate 😊🤗👌

Very tasty food in a very nice atmosphere. The boss cooks himself - and does it excellently. Schnitzels are particularly recommended.

I order pizza and pasta for the family at home, while my family enjoys spending time on the beautiful terrace in the summer. The service and quality are excellent, as are the prices. Any recommendation from me

Delicious food, nice service, nice facilities, pricing absolutely reasonable

It was the worst Greek restaurant we had eaten at so far. Ordered a grill plate for 2 people. Quality of the meat was poor. Potatoes and vegetables overcooked. There was only one bone on the lamb chop. No price-performance ratio. Ate better at a kebab shop for much less money.

We consistently had the three-course menu during our stay. Great food. Large selection of wines. Courteous staff.

Were here for the first time and what can I say, small but nice. It's hard to get a seat without a reservation, but the food is simply super large portions including a delicious salad and the sauce is a poem. The prices are really reasonable. The staff is very friendly and quick. Nobody goes home hungry here. We can only recommend it
