One last visit to the Petzold family. Thank you for the fabulous food over the past 40 years.

A must-visit when traveling to/through East Frisia. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant for schnitzel and other dishes. They claim their schnitzel is the best in East Frisia, if not the best in all of Northern Germany. The sauces are apparently made according to their own recipes and are inexplicably delicious! Definitely worth a visit, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

In brief: My wife and I spent the evening with our family (23 people) at the Délice restaurant after the civil ceremony and were more than satisfied. Communication: The communication with the lady of the house beforehand was very straightforward and friendly, which made planning much easier for us. Individual requests were addressed and helpfully supplemented with her own ideas. Service and Food: Everything went smoothly on the evening in question. The food was, as usual, high-quality and delicious – which was also communicated to us by our family. The service was prompt and always friendly, given the number of people to be served at one time and the active small children. Occasional additional requests such as drinks or side dishes were always responded to promptly. The value for money, considering our celebration, was excellent. Conclusion: My wife and I were able to relax and unwind after the celebration feeling satisfied and happy. I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant.

At the end of 2025, we had the pleasure of enjoying the "NEW JOURNEY TO THE FAR EAST" fine dining menu and were absolutely thrilled. The owners are incredibly friendly and passionate, creating outstanding dishes with great expertise. The result is a series of intense flavor experiences made primarily from local ingredients. All of this is served in a small dining room where the service is truly personal and warm. We've already made up our minds to return. (I'm disappointed that the Michelin Guide doesn't (yet) list this gem. You'd think it's their job to list the best restaurants in the city.)

An absolute highlight! This Italian restaurant delights with an exclusive selection of pasta and pizza. Every bite is a true delight, thanks to the delicious selection of extravagant varieties. The quality of the ingredients and the masterful preparation make this restaurant a must-visit for all lovers of authentic Italian cuisine.

We happened upon this restaurant for the first time by chance, located in the heart of the pedestrian zone, and were thoroughly satisfied. A beautiful and truly unique ambiance, good food, and friendly service. Overall, an upscale restaurant and not your typical Italian restaurant. We'd love to come back :-)

Absolutely delicious!!! One of the best restaurants in Traunstein. Every dish is not only freshly prepared but also cooked with such skillful finesse that you wouldn't believe how many flavors can be present in a single dish! Thank you for the culinary delights every time. :) We'll be back.

Delicious and generous portions at very fair prices 😋 We tried on a Sunday evening but couldn't get a table, but we had a reservation on a Saturday. No wonder, with food this good! Even though the restaurant is unassuming from the outside, the homemade schnitzel was incredibly tasty and juicy with a crispy breading. The croquettes were cleverly arranged so the breading didn't end up in the sauce. The turkey steak with baked potato was very tender, and the mixed grill platters at the neighboring tables also looked very good. Very large portions, just under €20 per person. Everything in the small restaurant was presented very nicely, and the service was truly attentive and friendly. A real recommendation for Kiel, even if it's not quite in the city center. It's definitely worth a visit!

The sushi was absolutely delicious!

I like the pasta even more than the pizza. I do have one request: please clean the board at the pick-up window (where people order from outside). The card reader is also quite encrusted.

We had a very, very delicious meal (fish with fried plantains, yam puree, and rice) in an authentic setting. Thank you for the friendly service and all the information!
