It's very small there, unfortunately there wasn't any space available, which is why I ordered takeaway. The bibimbap with tofu and egg was super tasty and fresh. :) I'll definitely try out other dishes too!

The food was good, tasty, nothing out of this world. The price is a little high, since the dishes are not large and the service is relative. One has to order and collect at the counter and bring the tray to the end. Also, being a small place, it is noisy and has a strong fried smell, the atmosphere is like that of a fast food restaurant.

Wagu Wagu is a small restaurant where the staff was neither particularly friendly nor rude, but seemed rather neutral. The Korean Fried Chicken was solid, but without any particular flavor. Unfortunately, the portions were quite small, especially in relation to the price. Overall, an average experience where the price-performance ratio is not quite right.

Perfect little spot of Korea in the heart of Hamburg! The food was delicious there isn’t really much to add to the other reviews, we have tried most of the menu items and they were all perfect. We‘ll definitely be back!:)

A Korean "hidden gem" in the middle of the city. The Wagu Wagu is a small restaurant in the Levantehaus. There are only a few seats inside, but there is a terrace. Nice and lively and quick, the food was wonderful. I'll be back!

Very tasty Korean food, it was our first time eating this style and we really liked it. Service was great and requests were responded to spontaneously. The selection isn't big, but it's good. The shop itself is rather hidden and seems a bit small; many guests cannot eat on site at the same time.

The 'Korean Wave' (Hallyu) has now reached Hamburg's gastronomy and more and more opportunities are opening up to enjoy South Korean cuisine. Kimchi, tteokbokki, chicken pieces in various spicy sauces, bulgogi, bibimbap, kimbap, and whatever else you can google are waiting to be discovered. Because of this popular and healthy cuisine, there are already some inauthentic “imitations” that should be avoided. The Wagu Wagu (kor: Mampf-Mumpf) in the Levante House (left entrance) on Mönkebergstrasse is one of the clearly authentic providers. Not just because German-Koreans cook behind the kitchen, but because it tastes like South Korea. Wagu Wagu is part of the bok franchise. Unlike the bok shops, which serve the entire range of Asian cuisine, this one only serves Korean cuisine. The location is in the passage and is manageable with 12 seats. In summer there is also an outdoor area on Mönkebergstrasse. The staff is extremely friendly, willing to provide information and is happy when the guests express their sympathy, for example by saying “ahn-yo ha-say-yoh” (hello, good day) or “Kamsahamnida” (thank you) – which of course is not a must. It's good that you can order the chicken pieces in different portions. The quantity offered in other locations is often more than one could handle alone. What is unusual in Korean is that there are no side dishes (kimchi) or you have to pay extra for them. With five pieces of boneless chicken (called “chicken popcorn” there) with medium hot sauce (yangnyeom), a mini bowl of kimchi and a Cola Zero, I stayed just under 15 euros. The price-performance ratio is right. A great way to stop off on the sidelines of shopping and get rid of that growling stomach. Small but nice! – And Uber Eats delivers too. Card payment possible.

Delicious!! We were 4 people and we tried a little of everything. The chicken with sweet chili sauce, the best. The staff is very attentive. Totally recommended if you visit Hamburg (or if you already live here!)

The food is very tasty even though it is very expensive for the portion you get BUT you are forced to take the food to go when the place is full. And the store is already fully loaded with 10 people. The saleswoman said I should eat the teokbokki on a bench?! But not with something like this where everything splashes around! So I had to buy overpriced water from the neighboring restaurant so that I could eat there in peace. Apparently the neighbor often has the problem too! If you know that you could have a lot of customers if the store were bigger, why not expand it?

The Korean restaurant "More Eat and Go" offers a delicious selection of authentic Korean dishes at fair prices. Perfect for a lunch break, the restaurant impresses with its fast and friendly service. The dishes taste excellent and are freshly prepared. The bibimbap and kimchi specialties are particularly recommended. Despite the simple "eat and go" concept, great importance is placed on quality and taste. A great choice for anyone who loves Korean cuisine and wants to enjoy a delicious meal in a short time.

The food is very tasty, the service and ambience are mediocre, but since for me the focus is on the food, it's 5 stars. The Korean Fried Popcorn Chicken was awesome and the portion was more than okay. I can definitely recommend it.

Realistic korean cuisine. I love the popcorn chicken and bulgogi soup in the menu. To the soup u also get free rice and kimchi, like in Korea. If you miss korean tastes its definitely the place for you

I was there for the first time last week. The portion is too small for the price. There is practically no service and the music is super loud!!! What an excruciating experience… I wish I asked for a refund. It's a shame ☹️

Bibimbap is okay to eat~ It's not a place where you can go and eat because it specializes in takeout. When a Korean person wants to eat Korean food, I think I'll be a little disappointed Korean food tailored to German tastes!

The food is very good. The snack bar is small but nice. Even though the door is open, you are not allowed to enter the snack bar 3 minutes before opening. You are politely but firmly instructed to leave, even though everything seemed to be already there. The lady at the checkout seemed to be already waiting for customers, but unfortunately it wasn't possible. A pity. I always enjoyed eating there.

Small but very fine Korean shop with authentic food. We ate popcorn chicken with both sauces. It came very quickly and was really delicious! The shop is a bit hidden in the center and is very small, but you can order via Uber Eats.

Leider der Laden ist nun kleiner😥. Ich kann ehrlich sagen, diese "Sotteok and sotteok" (mit Wurst) sind sehr gut frittiert und gleicher Geschmack wie in korea🤤. Bibimbab hatte ich mit Tofu bestellt, die ist nicht einfacher Tofu sondern gebratener Tofu mit soße und sehr<3 Lecker. I ordered tofu bibimbap and the tofu was stir-fried in soy sauce, but it actually tasted like bulgogi and was good! I can't eat spicy food, but the bibimbap sauce was not spicy enough and delicious. Sotteok sotteok is really great... 👍I almost regretted it if I didn't order it.

I love Korean food, but never had a Korean meal so delicious! I don't think I've ever had proper Korean food until this evening. You can tell the veggies were cooked separately, each having its own flavour and the meat is proper meat, not sheds and little bits. And the way they serve food, in these authentic bowls and dishes. Can't wait to go back and try some more food off their menu. I can say now I've tried proper Korean food (until I visit Korea) and I'll know what to look for when I go to another Korean restaurant. Thank you for this experience! Also, their kimchi is so good, the best I've eaten so far. And I've tried a lot of different brands of kimchi, in different places. I love kimchi.

A little small but super tasty.

This place boasts the absolute best Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) I've ever had, no exaggeration. The diverse menu is a delight, and my top picks are Dak Galbi and Teokbokki after KFC. A culinary haven that's genuinely unmatched. 🍗💕

I ordered food to go. It tasted really good and was fresh too. The only thing I didn't understand is that I have to wait outside because I ordered to go??? I had never experienced that before. I would understand if it had been full and the store is really small. But when I was there, all 3 tables were empty and there were only 3 people sitting on the bar stools by the window. I “felt” like I had been thrown out, which wasn’t a nice feeling. That's why 2 stars deducted otherwise it would have been 5.

I ordered there because I heard very good things about Wagu Wagu from friends. Accordingly, I cannot say anything about the on-site conditions or the service. We ordered tteokbokki and the popcorn chicken. The tteokbokki were super tasty. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry, so it didn't taste good despite the delicious marinade.

Sehr leckeres koreanisches Essen! Bin schon mehrere Male dort gewesen und es hat immer super geschmeckt! Nur ist der Kimbap Nachmittags manchmal ausverkauft gewesen.Es gibt leider nur wenige Sitzplätze, aber im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen. Personal immer nett und sehr freundlich! After we were at Bok in Eppendorf the day before yesterday, we went here today. You have to bring your time, there are only 12 seats. Again, courteous staff with fantastically delicious food. If you like Thai, you will love Korean.

Sehr leckeres Essen, leider lange Wartetzeiten, aber es ist es Wert! Auf jeden Falll empfehlenswert und bei dem Zeitdruck bleiben die Mitarbeiter stets freundlich und professionell.

Hab durch Zufall diesem Laden entdeckt und war sehr lecker. Sehr nette und freundlichen Anbieter, gerne Mal wieder 😊

Das Essen schmeckt gut, ich finde es aber leider zu teuer. Auch die Getränkepreise finde ich übertrieben. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir waren zu Dritt zum Essen dort, die Sitzmöglichkeiten am Tisch sind suboptimal. Für junge Leute mag es cool sein, aber nicht für mich. Ansonsten: wir anfangs geschrieben, das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker

The atmosphere and service is great, and while the food is certainly good, it isn't the truest experience of Korean food in my opinion. I came here with my Korean girlfriend, and while we were both satisfied more or less, we didn't feel like it even could compete with cheaper snack restaurants in Korea that also equivalently cost the same. I guess that is to be expected though, because even though the entire family/staff is Korean, the items and ingredients required to make proper Korean food are, from my own experience, somewhat difficult to obtain here. The 쏘떡쏘떡 (Sausage & Ricecake) was quite nice though.

Cosy little restaurant with good selection of Korean dishes and drinks. Tables are very near to each other. The popcorn chicken was so good! Just wish the chicken was spicier. Generous portion. Would definitely be back and try other dishes as they look so good.

I had the beef Bibimbap and it was amazing. Even though it was busy, I was served really quickly and the staff were really friendly. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking for a quick tasty Korean food. Also I highly recommend popcorn chicken!!

Etwas versteckt aber Goldwert. Wir haben Popcorn Chili Chicken mit Fried Ttebokki bestellt, dazu koreanische Mandu Dumplings. Wenn ihr dort seid kann ich euch auch den Milkis Yogurt Drink empfehlen, super lecker. Wir waren 30 Minuten vor Ladenschluss da, uns wurde dann noch eine to go Portion fertig gemacht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich aber auch das Ambiente im Lokal war toll. Leider war ich etwas enttäuscht, bei der Jr Version waren nur 2 Rice Cakes bei und 4 Chicken Stücke, was für den Preis etwas enttäuschend ist, trotzdem war es den Geschmack wert. Die Bestellung war in unter 5 Minuten fertig.

Wirklich authentisch koreanische Küche! Das Fried Chicken ist sehr lecker und nur zu empfehlen. Preisleistung ist gerechtfertigt für die Qualität. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Leider ist der Laden sehr klein, was definitiv für Wartezeiten kommen kann.

I rarely give reviews, but this place is exceptional in both food and service. Visited several times, always 10/10 service. The food is not only good and well seasoned, the people at Wagu Wagu also have excellent sense of detail. Have tried Korean food in many places, this one sticks out. I‘m a foodie and difficult to convince. Bonus point: The chicken is halal!

건물 안쪽에 위치해 있어서 찾기가 쉽지않았지만, 여행에 지친 한국사람에겐 오아시스나 다름없다 돌솥비빔밥은 음식을 다 먹기전까지 따듯하다. 맛있다. 깨끗하게 완식!!

I loved the food here. Its a small well hidden gem of a restaurant. Enough seats for only about 12 people or so. But even if you have to wait it will go fast because the service is very efficient and quick. The food was amazing. The chicken was nice, crispy and juicy with the spicy sauce. And the tteokbokki was to die for. Highly recommended to get the extra cheese as it works so well with the slightly spicy soup. Overall a recommendation for sure when you are craving simple but good korean food near Hamburg main station.

Ganz passables Essen, Tteokkbokki ist leider überhaupt nicht scharf :( Und Reiswein und Soju kosten pro Flasche 12€... Sorry ich find die Preise überteuert

Kann ich nur empfehlen! Auch wenn der Laden an sich klein ist, kann man mit Glück ein Platz kriegen. (2x zweier sitze, ein 4er Platz und 2-3 Plätze am Fenster) Ansonsten ist es möglich, irgendwo draußen zu sitzen. Essen war super lecker und füllend (hatte scharfes Fried popcorn chicken und rosé tteokbokki bestellt mit meiner Begleitung) . Getränke waren preislicher, aber wenn man sich nur für eine Fritz Cola/Limo entscheidet hat man nichts zu meckern, koreanische Getränke werden natürlich teurer sein.
