Es ist immer wieder lecker hier zu essen, die Auswahl ist fantastisch und es gibt auch vegetarische / Vegane Varianten. Ich persönlich liebe die Freundlichkeit der Leute und die idyllische Atmosphäre im LevanteHaus. WaguWagu ist nur zu empfehlen.

Ein tolles Erlebnis mit köstlichem Essen. Das Restaurant war etwas schwer zu finden, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Ich bestellte Kimchi-Eintopf und Bibimbap, beides war gut gewürzt und kräftig im Geschmack.

Ich liebe es hier. Super Service, geiles Essen und auch ne gute Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen. Hier kommt auch immer wieder was neues dazu was das auch interessant macht. Das Fried Chicken ist ein Traum. Der einzige Nachteil (wenn man es so nennen kann) ist dass es Recht klein ist und man dadurch nicht immer Platz hat. Aber selbst dann dauert es nicht ewig bis wieder Sitzplätze frei sind.

Ich komme jedes Mal hierher, wenn ich in Hamburg bin. Nicht nur das Hähnchen, sondern auch Dakgalbi und Ttukkab schmecken wie im Original! :-D Alle Angestellten sind Koreaner! Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich während meines Aufenthalts in Deutschland so gut um mein koreanisches Essen gekümmert haben.

Ich liebe die Tische vor dem Laden, an denen man entspannt an der frischen Luft sitzen und dabei die Aussicht sowie das Essen genießen kann. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und sehr aufmerksam, man wird sofort bedient, ohne lange warten zu müssen. Das Essen ist wirklich eine 10/10. Super lecker und frisch zubereitet. Ich bin überrascht, dass ich so lange gebraucht habe, um diesen Ort auszuprobieren. Er ist winzig, aber oho! (Das Essen ist wirklich, wirklich gut.)

Zentral und authentisch, soweit ich das beurteilen kann, außerdem sehr lecker. Ziemlich klein, sodass eine laute Gruppe schon sehr unangenehm sein kann. Mein Gericht war außerdem in der Karte als vegan deklariert und enthielt dann doch Ei, das war doof. Davon abgesehen aber super lecker!

Das Essen war wirklich lecker, meiner Freundin und mir hat es sehr gut geschmeckt! Das Lokal ist etwas klein und hat nur wenige Tische, daher kann es zu Stoßzeiten etwas eng werden. (Am besten vorher anrufen.) Der Service ist aber gut und die Preise sind angemessen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Essen kam recht schnell (nicht super schnell), es dauerte etwa 15–20 Minuten. Insgesamt ist es ein nettes Lokal, wenn man die wenigen Sitzplätze nicht stört.

Hervorragende Qualität, super lecker. Korean Popcorn Chicken Jr. - Buldak scharf, richtig gut. Bulgogi Japchae-bap mit Spiegelei - mega! Alles ganz frisch, heiß, auch noch nach ein paar Minuten auf dem Weg zurück ins Homeoffice. Pappbecher und Holzstäbchen umweltfreundlich. Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Einfach spitze. Weiter so!

Essen hat geschmeckt, und wenn man nachfragt kriegt man auch KFC ohne Soße. Das Reis ist klebrig, für die, die es wissen wollen. Das Restaurant selbst ist ziemlich klein, wird aber kein Einfluss auf das gute Essen haben. Man wird für einem verständlichen Preis satt, und es fehlt im Ganzen eigentlich nichts. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ich bin auf Empfehlung hierher gekommen und es war köstlich! Ich wusste gar nicht, dass sie das Hähnchen mit Rettich selbst zubereiten, also habe ich gespart und konnte mir Nachschlag gönnen. Ich habe im Ausland immer richtig Lust auf gewürztes Hähnchen. Es war genauso lecker wie das Hähnchen, das ich in Korea gegessen habe! Normalerweise schaffe ich nicht mehr als 5-6 Stück auf einmal, aber die Portion für meinen Sohn war perfekt.

Kleiner Laden, nur 12 Sitzplätze. Man muss etwas Geduld haben, dafür wird alles frisch zubereitet und schmeckt auch sehr lecker 😋 Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Ich bin noch nicht lange in Hamburg, und trotzdem ist Wagu Wagu einer meiner absoluten Lieblingsspots. Ich bestelle sehr oft bei ihnen und das Essen hat noch nicht einmal enttäuscht. Die Portionen sind immer grosszügig, das Essen ist noch warm und schmeckt immer super. Auch bei „last minute“ Bestellungen wurde immer geliefert. Super laden :)

Cute little shop; we picked up some things for the trip home. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious! The vegan tteobokki was milder than I expected; it seems to be a "Germanized" spiciness, which I was worried about at first. The spiciness is still quite noticeable, though. Absolutely delicious!!

I ordered a large portion of chicken, and it was so big that my companion and I could barely finish it all. It seems like this restaurant prioritizes turnover. I've tried the chicken, bibimbap, and mandu-guk, and none of them were disappointing. Next time I go, I'll try the bulgogi.

If you're tired of Hamburg food and want to eat some steamed Korean food... I recommend Wagu Wagu Bulgogi!

We often order takeout or eat in from Wagu Wagu and are always satisfied. The staff is polite and attentive and always points out the specific variations of a dish (spicy or non-spicy chicken/toppings for bibimbap). We highly recommend the Korean Popcorn Chicken King in any variation; the chicken is always very crispy and perfectly seasoned. Bibimbap and Tteokbokki are also very tasty and well-balanced in flavor. We warmly recommend Wagu Wagu to any fan of Korean food!

The fried chicken was very tender but not greasy at all, and the flavor was just right. We ordered the cheese-baked fried chicken, which tasted just like the BHC fried chicken we had in Korea. The service was super fast, only about 10 minutes. Highly recommended! We'll definitely come back!

An authentic Korean restaurant downtown where you can get really good, classic Korean food. I've been going there regularly for years – the bibimbap and chicken dishes are especially recommended! There aren't many seats, so it's best to go right when it opens.

I often order the chicken and really enjoy it. It tastes better than the competition, and the small coleslaw is also delicious and complementary. But I was more than disappointed with my last order. The extra rice costs €2 and comes in a tiny paper cup, the size of an ice cream cone for one scoop. I've never seen rice that small anywhere in the world. On top of that, the rice had been in the rice cooker for at least 24 hours without stirring. At least! It was sticky and almost melted, and it smelled bad too. I lost my appetite. You need to change something about the rice soon.

I speak fluent Korean and overheard some conversations among the staff, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable for me. The portions were quite small for the price, and the dishes didn't seem very fresh. Overall, the experience was disappointing compared to what I'm used to in Korea.

That was top-notch. I love Korean cuisine. The place is small, but it couldn't be more authentic. You really feel like you've landed somewhere in Seoul. The small menu is manageable, but you get authentic, high-quality dishes.

Good Korean food and fast, friendly service. The restaurant is a bit small and difficult to find, but the seating is quite comfortable. Only for larger groups of 6 or more will it be difficult, if not impossible, to get a table. The bibimbap and popcorn chicken were very tasty. There might not be any reception there, but they do offer Wi-Fi. ;)

Super good great service and amazing atmosphere.!! Brought me back all the good memories from Korean definitely a soul food place. Korean staff and Korean music. Flavor is authentic and reasonable price compared to other places in Hamburg. Would definitely come back again! ☺️ 감사합니다 Danke!

The food is really good! It satisfies my craving of Malaysian korean fried chicken. The kimchi also is not overly salty. And bonus point bcs it is Halal.

Very tasty Korean food, it was our first time eating this style and we really liked it. Service was great and requests were responded to spontaneously. The selection isn't big, but it's good. The shop itself is rather hidden and seems a bit small; many guests cannot eat on site at the same time.

I had the #7 Sweet Chili Popcorn Chicken and the #17 Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Pork Stew) – both were super delicious! The stew was nice and spicy, hot and just the right kind of soul food. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned, but the sauce could have used a little more paprika and less tomato for my taste. The service was great - particularly nice: I was even given a Buldak sauce to try. I'd love to come back!

A bit hidden but worth its weight in gold. We ordered Popcorn Chili Chicken with Fried Ttebokki and Korean Mandu Dumplings. While you're there I can also recommend the Milkis Yogurt Drink, super tasty. We were there 30 minutes before closing time and a to-go portion was prepared for us. The service was very friendly but the atmosphere in the restaurant was also great. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed, the Jr version only had 2 rice cakes and 4 chicken pieces, which is a bit disappointing for the price, but it was still worth the taste. The order was ready in under 5 minutes.

The Wagu Wagu in the Levantehaus Hamburg is a great restaurant for fans of Korean cuisine. The Korean Popcorn Chicken was nice and crispy, and the sweet chili sauce was more sweet than spicy, but still tasty. We particularly liked the fact that Tteokbokki was also fried – yummy The Dak-Galbi (chicken with cheese) was cheesy and perfectly seasoned. The Dolsot Bulgogi was also very authentic in taste and reminded us of the dishes in Seoul. The mandus were also beautifully prepared and tasted great. We also enjoyed the WaWa Tteok-Bokki. Although the employee warned us about the spiciness, we found it pleasantly mild. The staff overall was very friendly and attentive, which made the dining experience even better. Conclusion: Wagu Wagu is definitely a recommendation for delicious Korean dishes in Hamburg!

Just yesterday, by chance and after a visit to the museum, we stumbled upon the Levantehaus again after a long time. When we wanted to go out again on the opposite side, we discovered the Wagu Wagu. Many years ago there was still the Jak Academy for Fashion and Design shop there and in the location. The shop is small, but it's inviting. It was already after 7 p.m., but we were greeted warmly and shown to our seat. Since my companion and I don't know much about Koranic fast food, we wanted to start here. We are actually very impressed with the menu, which doesn't seem to overwhelm you at first glance. Delicious, frequently requested dishes and dishes are displayed as beautiful pictures on the walls. When we serve you get the feeling that our food looks just as fancy and delicious as in the pictures on the wall. We decided to order a few dishes and then share. We had the delicious, sweet and spicy chicken, the Korean popcorn chicken, kimchi, coleslaw, tteokbokki and a bowl with bulgogi, noodles and a delicious tomato sauce as well as two delicious dumplings with dip. Each of these dishes was excellent and from what I heard, this place is probably very close to the South Korean gourmet mentality. The people in front of and behind the counter are friendly and accommodating. Payment is possible in cash or by credit card. We were full and satisfied and will definitely come back. ps. Korean soft drinks from the fridge. I can only recommend it if you want to take your taste buds to 280. I love it!

Went there in the evening to grab lunch. It was really busy, but we got seated away fast. While the menu is small, the food is really flavourful and is brought quickly as well. I got the Rosé Tteokbokki , and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was sweet and slightly spicy and the rice cakes were soft and spongy. The prices were fair for the portions and I would eat there again.

I think they have the best Rose Tteokbokki and korean Popcorn chicken in town. I've visited this place numerous time with different people to introduce their amazing taste. The place are not that spacious but it's quite comfortable. Sometimes, you have to queue outside on a busy day. But anyway keep up the good work!

Small but really nice! VERY authentic Korean cuisine!

I completely understand that the store is small, but the food tastes above average. But the quantity is ridiculously small compared to the price. The amount is less than half the price of a regular Korean restaurant.

Wagu Wagu is a great place for orders or takeaways, as the deliveries arrive perfectly fresh and ready to enjoy. We had both Bibimbap and dumplings, and really enjoyed the combination with the sauces. Delivery was fast, prices are fair, and taste really good! Only little issue was that we didn’t receive any sticks nor cutlery, which was difficult. Other than that - would totally order again!

Fast service and good value of food at an affordable price, 14.9 euros for such a meal was fair enough. They might have done localization but in a good way. The store is a bit invisible tho.

It's very small there, unfortunately there wasn't any space available, which is why I ordered takeaway. The bibimbap with tofu and egg was super tasty and fresh. :) I'll definitely try out other dishes too!

The food was good, tasty, nothing out of this world. The price is a little high, since the dishes are not large and the service is relative. One has to order and collect at the counter and bring the tray to the end. Also, being a small place, it is noisy and has a strong fried smell, the atmosphere is like that of a fast food restaurant.

Wagu Wagu is a small restaurant where the staff was neither particularly friendly nor rude, but seemed rather neutral. The Korean Fried Chicken was solid, but without any particular flavor. Unfortunately, the portions were quite small, especially in relation to the price. Overall, an average experience where the price-performance ratio is not quite right.

Wenn einen der Hunger auf Popcorn Chicken erreicht und man mitten in der Hamburger Innenstadt unterwegs ist, dann unbedingt bei Wagu Wagu reinschauen! Alles wird frisch zubereitet und ist super lecker. Der Schärfegrad kann gewählt werden und notfalls stehen koreanische Getränke bereit ;-) Die Gerichte sind sehr authentisch und das Personal sehr gastfreundlich.
