Super leckeres Essen. Tipp: viele Vorspeisen ausprobieren. Richtig nette Bedienung - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Beim nächsten Hamburg-Besuch ein muss.

Ich war heute an einem Samstag da und es war auf jeden Fall etwas voll, aber mit einer Wartezeit von 10 Minuten haben wir auch einen Tisch bekommen. Die Servicemitarbeiter waren sehr nett und freundlich. Essen war auch sehr lecker und es schmeckt genauso wie am anderen Standort in der Innenstadt. Die Speisekarte ist auf jeden Fall sehr vielfältig und es gibt für jeden was. Zum Essen hatten wir bibimbab bowls mit beef (toll zubereitet) und neun Stück Hähnchen, sehr lecker, aber ein bisschen zu viel für zwei Personen, da die Portion schon ziemlich groß waren. p.s. Es gibt auch Kinderstühle.

Das Essen war köstlich und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte probiert, und alles war sehr schmackhaft und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders wichtig für Familien mit Babys ist, dass das Restaurant genügend Platz bietet, um bequem mit einem Kinderwagen hineinzukommen. Es gibt auch Hochstühle, was wir sehr zu schätzen wissen. Die Mitarbeiter waren während unseres gesamten Besuchs sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Insgesamt war es ein sehr angenehmes Erlebnis, und ich komme gerne wieder.

Absolut köstlich. Die Speisekarte wurde kürzlich aktualisiert und bietet eine große Auswahl. Der Service war zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Das Lokal ist hell und luftig, und man kann sich trotz der vielen Tische gut unterhalten. Selbst der einfache Tofu war fantastisch, genauso wie das gebratene Omelett mit Frühlingszwiebeln.

Hausmannskost in Hamburg, das beste koreanische Essen überhaupt!!!! Der Budak-Blumenkohl ist der Wahnsinn!!

Wir hatten am Samstagnachmittag ein wunderbares Mittagessen im Kimchi Guys. Essen, Service und Ambiente waren perfekt. Wir hatten vorher reserviert und können das Restaurant für Wochentage wärmstens empfehlen.

Restaurant ist gut in Ottensen gelegen. Man kann vor Ort essen oder Essen mitnehmen. Der Empfang war freundlich und ohne Reservierung war es einfach einen Tisch zu finden. Die Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen ist gut. Ich habe koreanische Pfirsich Limo getrunken und die Reisbowl mit frittiettem Blumenkohl und Bio Spiegelei gegessen. Das war wirklich gut und lecker. Ich wurde satt. Probiert es auch aus.

Das Essen war lecker aber längere Wartezeiten durch viele Gäste und die selbstgemachten Getränke waren sehr lecker und erfrischend

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, aber es ist immer sehr voll. Manchmal gibt es keine freien Sitzplätze. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, aber für mich ist es noch in Ordnung.

Tadelloser Service, wunderschönes Ambiente und erwartungsgemäß gutes Essen (die Chicken Nuggets waren leider etwas zu lange gebraten). Ich vergebe drei Sterne, da ich schon besser gegessen habe. Die Preise sind sehr angemessen und ich würde definitiv wiederkommen.

Mein Lieblings Korean Fried Chicken in Deutschland. In Hamburg geboren und inzwischen in den Süden gezogen. Jedes Mal wenn ich nach Hamburg komme muss ich mindestens einmal dort essen. Das Yangnyeom chicken ist fabelhaft. Der Kimchi gut fermentiert, und die Auswahl an koreanischen Getränken macht auch was her. Große Empfehlung!

Das Essen war absolut köstlich, ich bekam drei kleine Beilagen (Banchan). Der Preis ist zwar etwas hoch, aber der Geschmack ist 10/10.

Essen war super lecker, aber der Service leider völlig unakzeptabel. Insbesondere eine Kellnerin... Die Teller wurden lieblos auf den Tisch GEWORFEN, einer kippte sogar um. Die hälfte fiel auf den Tisch. Ich habe sie sogar nett darauf hingewiesen. Trotzdessen gab es keine Einsicht, keine Entschuldigung, keinen neuen Teller. Wir haben uns als Gäste absolut nicht willkommen gefühlt. Habe noch nie so eine unhöfliche Kellnerin erlebt.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut. Ich bin allerdings kein großer Fan des „Fusion“-Stils. Es gab Japchae mit Reis und einem Spiegelei, ähnlich wie Bibimbap. Das Haemul Pajeon war lecker, meiner Meinung nach etwas zu fettig und nicht ausreichend belegt, aber durchaus in Ordnung. Die Beilagen (Banchan) waren etwas matschig. Das Kimchi schmeckte nicht selbstgemacht. Authentisch würde ich es nicht nennen, aber insgesamt hat es gut geschmeckt. Das Restaurant ist ziemlich voll, man hat also wenig Platz und es ist auch recht dunkel. Wer also ein gehobenes, westlich angehauchtes koreanisches Ambiente mag, ist hier genau richtig.

Auf den ersten Blick schien das Lokal geschlossen zu haben, denn es war ziemlich dunkel. Doch beim Eintreten war die Atmosphäre sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Musik war zwar ziemlich laut, aber auf trotzdem so, dass man sich trotzdem normal unterhalten konnte. Zum Getränk gab es gleich drei kleine Appetizer, die sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Die Hauptspeise (Bibimbap) war von der Portionsgröße her zwar nicht sehr üppig, dafür aber geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Das Highlight für mich war allerdings der Nachtisch (Hotteok). Allein dafür würde ich schon wiederkommen! Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Geiler Laden! Beim letzten habe ich gemerkt dass die eine neue Menükarte haben mit neuen Preisen. Hat mich alles bisschen verwirrt. Bitte beim alten lassen.

Qualitativ hochwertiges koreanisches Restaurant, von Bedienung bis zum Essen war alles super. Die Cocktails waren besonders lecker :)

Das Essen war hervorragend – sehr lecker, intensiv im Geschmack und äußerst sättigend. Alles war frisch zubereitet und qualitativ auf hohem Niveau. Die Getränke haben perfekt zu den Speisen gepasst und den Abend sehr angenehm ergänzt. Der Service war ausgezeichnet: freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Insgesamt ein sehr positives Erlebnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Restaurant definitiv weiter. ⸻ Das Essen war ausgezeichnet - sehr lecker, reichhaltig und sättigend. Alle Gerichte waren frisch und hochwertig zubereitet. Die Getränke ergänzten das Essen perfekt und machten das Abendessen besonders angenehm. Der Service war ausgezeichnet: Das Personal war höflich, aufmerksam und professionell. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen und würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Sehr leckeres koreanisches Restaurant! Das Essen ist frisch, qualitativ hochwertig und unglaublich lecker. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Liebe gekocht wird. Die Atmosphäre ist super angenehm und lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Einer der besten für Korean Fried Chicken, absolute Empfehlung. Vorsicht bei den scharfen Varianten, die sind wirklich scharf. Preis Leistung okay, Service durchschnittlich, Atmosphäre auch. Man kann hier nichts falsch machen.

Hier ist man in Korea angekommen , was das Essen angeht. Sehr netter Service und das Essen sensationell. Wir waren jetzt zweimal da und nicht das letzte Mal.

Authentisches koreanisches Essen! Links davon ist scharfer Tintenfisch, rechts Gungjungdukbokgi mit Bulgogi, das hauptsächlich mit Sojasauce und Zucker zubereitet wird. Drei Beilagen (Kimchi, Salat und Gurken-Kimchi) gab es gratis dazu. Es war schön, mal wieder richtiges koreanisches Essen zu genießen.

Das mit Abstand beste koreanische Brathähnchen, das ich je gegessen habe. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Brathähnchen war gut und knusprig. Die Beilagen waren auch sehr lecker. Das Raboki war eher durchschnittlich.

The food is just as excellent as at the second location in the city center. The pleasant atmosphere and stylish design of the restaurant are definite pluses. Because of its size, there are more seats, creating a true restaurant feel. This makes it an even more relaxed place to enjoy the best Korean fried chicken in town.

One of my favorite shops for a long time; I drive from Bremen to Hamburg just for Kimchiguys. (And it's always worth it.)

Kimchi Guys in Ottensen offers solidly prepared Korean dishes, but the value for money wasn't right for me. The Korean fried chicken was crispy, but unfortunately not particularly juicy. I've had much better options for the price charged.

Very tasty, fresh food. We were served in a pleasant atmosphere and with very friendly and courteous service!

Let's stop by and eat a filling meal before going to the Wackelzahn Theater! (It would be perfect if you have lunch with the kids and then go see a play.) Even my four-year-old who said he wanted noodles ate the chicken so deliciously. ㅎㅎ It's a bit like karaage-style chicken, but he really enjoyed it. Japchae rice is also really delicious. Ah!! And the rice is delicious.ㅠㅠ Last week, I ate at a different Korean restaurant, and I was so disappointed because the rice grains flew around and weren't sticky, but the rice was delicious. ㅎㅎ The staff also have a great sense and are really kind. ㅎㅎㅎ The owner is really lucky to have staff like this⭐️ Next time, I'll go again to eat the stone pot bibimbap.

Great place. Super authentic Korean food, including buldak and gochujang. The chicken and cauliflower were amazing, and to top it all off, they had a very good bi bim bab. The starter and main course together are a large portion, so unfortunately, we couldn't finish it all. But we promise to do better next time. Promise. 🤞

I come here quite often for lunch. I recommend KG chicken snack and some sides since the full portion is quiet big. I also like the bibimbap! The Kimchi Mandu are tasty also. Careful the extremely spicy its real extreme ahbahaahha!

At Kimchyguys, you can count on great service and delicious food! If you like Korean chicken or the vegetarian version with cabbage, you've come to the right place! The kimchi is delicious and nicely spicy, and it also cools you down nicely in this heat! The homemade drinks are delicious too! I haven't tried the bibimbap yet, but I'll be ordering it next! 😝

Beautiful, stylish restaurant in the heart of Altona, easy to reach. The service is prompt, and if you need something in between meals, they'll be there quickly on request. The food is really delicious, and some dishes are spicy, don't forget that 😉 Korean fried chicken... incredibly delicious. Dumplings... very tasty. Japchae with tofu... also very tasty. They also serve small portions of kimchi or radish... great. The price is mid-range, but the taste justifies the price.

Food ❤️ so good that I regret only that I couldn’t eat more 😅 The place itself is quite big, spacious and comfortable. You can also sit outside, but it’s a busy neighborhood so definitely not my favorite option. I’m not sure how busy it can get in the evening, but if you’re hungry for some Korean cuisine just go there!

Ordered a Bibimpap - amazing creamy sesame dressing, perfectly cooked beef. BUT the rice was super sticky and gooey - overcooked. The complimentary appetizers were nice. For the overall meal experience rather slightly overpriced.

We walked in spontaneously and were lucky to snag a table. The menu offers straightforward classics for this type of cuisine. We started with the fried cauliflower, served with garlic soy sauce and their homemade hot sauce. The hot sauce was very spicy, but still enjoyable. For the main course, we ordered the bibimbap, which, unfortunately, was just okay. It wasn’t bad—just a bit average. Honestly, I’ve had better bibimbap elsewhere. It lacked some of the flavors I was hoping for. For dessert, I tried the pancake, which was good. Prices are reasonable and pretty standard for what you’d expect. The staff were friendly and communicative, which added a nice touch to the experience.

I had the Chibap (Buldak Chikin) and it was super tasty, exactly as I expected it. The Iced Americano coffee was barely average but for the price of €3.50 one can't really complain. Overall a good experience and would definitely do it again!

I was charged the regular price for a mini portion of kimchi I ordered. I wasn't even informed! Other Korean restaurants give them free.

Great fried chicken. We tried all four. My favorites are the hot and then the sweet chili. Would love to come back. When the restaurant is full, the noise is a bit loud, but otherwise there is a nice atmosphere.

The food was incredibly tasty and, thanks to the warm "bowl", it stayed hot for a long time so that you could eat in a relaxed manner without the dish getting cold. The bibimbap was simply a dream. The drinks menu was also very extensive. And the service was also very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back...to try out one or two more Korean dishes.

!NOT HALAL! They advertise halal chicken and there are always a lot of people going to Iftar to eat the fried chicken, but there is rice wine in everything. I was initially told that the whole chicken was halal, but when I asked more closely, a service person said that all the sauces, including the tofu, contain rice wine. Absolutely disgusting to advertise halal chicken so that more come but then sell something like that

Great place with delicious Korean food. Loved the bibimbap in a hot cast-iron bowl: it came sizzling, with a rich sauce and lots of veggies. The miso soup and kimchi on the side were also really good. Tried the sesame ice cream, served in a paper cup super tasty. Fast service, everything fresh and flavorful. Definitely coming back!

Great atmosphere, very nice service, sometimes a different selection than in other KG stores, which is a shame. Price-performance ratio is rather higher.

I always enjoyed eating here, but what I experienced today was a huge disappointment. I called yesterday to make a reservation for today and they said 6 p.m. wouldn't be a problem. But this evening I was turned away and told that I would have to wait at least 30 minutes for a table. 4-5 tables were free but they were reserved for others. I won't visit the store now and will only go downtown in the future.

When people ask me where do we want to eat, I always reflexively say KG :-) The bibimbap, the cauliflower, the kimchi...all fantastic. The self-made drinks are also highly recommended. Loving it!!! May the quality always remain so great.

For us it's actually number 1 in Hamburg and an absolutely 5 star shop. But yesterday we unfortunately had to have two new experiences. Due to staff shortages, we waited almost an hour for our food. What annoyed us was that the delivery service was busy picking up food at the same time. You ask yourself whether your priorities are right and in such situations it would be better to concentrate on your local customers. The second point was that the quality of the food probably also suffered due to the staff shortage. We love the local chicken sauce, but the meat was tougher yesterday. Because we were so confident beforehand, we gave it 4 stars. We will certainly give Kimchi Guys Ottensen another chance and can recommend it despite yesterday's experience.
