Six of us were there for lunch today and it was great. Nice welcome, great atmosphere, everything was very clean!! Then we chose from a very varied menu and everyone was thrilled. I had the “house specialty” and I haven’t had such a great meal in a long time. My companions sometimes had great vogtl. green dumplings, as they should be. Simply an enjoyable meal. Thank you very much for that and I will come back to Abhorn soon 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The food was delicious, but it was difficult to decide because so many things sounded good. As vegetarians, that's not always the case...

Very tasty, even if there was no meat, the citizen can only recommend it

The food is delicious, nothing to complain about, and the servers are friendly. However, I'm deducting a point because I've eaten there exactly twice, and there were two disagreements. The first time, we had the bread from the neighboring table on the bill. I complained about this, but declared the amount as an additional tip. Yesterday, I ordered a meat dish with rice, beans, and tzatziki, and I wanted to swap the rice for fries. A plate of meat and fries arrived, but they also forgot the beans and tzatziki. I at least ordered the missing tzatziki and was surprised that I was charged €6.90 for it. I would have also liked a Samos, but with all due respect, €8.90 for a glass of wine is too much for me. Nevertheless, all the best for the restaurant, I'll try the competition next time.

Die Gerichte kommen heiß auf den Tisch und das Gemüse ist frisch gekocht. Es gibt leckere selbstgemachte Limonaden. Die Preise sind sehr günstig.

Unfortunately, the goose dinner doesn't live up to the price-performance ratio. We ate goose there, and for €50, you'd expect a bit more. The only unexpected thing was the herring as a welcome dish from the kitchen. It wasn't at all Christmassy and certainly didn't go with the goose. The ambiance inside the restaurant unfortunately doesn't match the price, but rather bland and less than elegant. In conclusion, the goose was good. However, to stay on the topic of price-performance, there are many geese in the region that are significantly cheaper and taste just as good. It's a shame we won't be going back. It's too expensive and doesn't live up to the standards you might expect.
