Last week I celebrated my 60th birthday at the Hallgarten. Since the restaurant is closed on Saturday, I was able to rent the entire restaurant, including the garden/terrace. We ordered a hot and cold buffet for 50 people, including appetizers, main courses, and dessert. The food was simply delicious. And the restaurant was beautifully decorated, fitting our birthday theme, "Las Vegas." The service was also excellent 👍 Thanks to the entire team at the restaurant for the unforgettable evening.

The Essbar. Our regular haunt for years. Always good, fresh food. Our second living room. Today we had crispy pork neck with pumpkin puree from the specials menu and a crispy chicken burger. Service was attentive and friendly, as always. If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out. See you next time. 😉

We came on a Saturday evening and were the only guests for the whole two hours — which made us a bit suspicious. The food was good, but many dishes from the menu weren’t available. They didn’t even have bread — we were told they could bake it just for us, but it would take 30 minutes. The cocktails we saw in the reviews weren’t available either, and the white wine we chose was pretty average. It seems like this place used to be popular a year ago, but now it’s clearly fading away. Still, thanks to the waitress for her friendly service and the chef for the tasty meal.

As always, and just as before, a very good restaurant. I haven't been there in a while, but it was a great evening.

They're very polite, they help people without asking for anything in return, and they put a lot of effort into helping others. They helped me a lot with my challenges. I thank the entire team for all their efforts.
