This restaurant is superb! We dined as a couple on 18/10/24. We have eaten at many Michelin recommended restaurants and several one starred restaurants. In our opinion, this restaurant deserves a star. The restaurant interior is simply decorated, well lit with an excellent selection of music. Oliver Körber, the host, is personable, knowledgeable and fluent in English. He was willing to answer our several questions and to offer information about the dishes we we were eating. His German white wine recommendation was excellent. Truly, It was as though we were having dinner at the home of a friend. The food, prepared by chef, Felix Thoms, was beautifully presented, exactly as pictured on the website. The dishes were innovative, varied and utilized ingredients that provided a new culinary experience for us. The portions were small, as expected, but generous. The entire meal was a delight for the senses and a pleasure for the palette. If we lived in Berlin we would be regulars. Thank you

Besondere Location, in der man hervorragende Speisen serviert bekommt, besonders zugewandter Service, wenn man einen besonders schönen Abend erleben möchte, dann hier. Waren nicht zum ersten Mal da und ganz sicher nicht zum letzten…..

Very cozy atmosphere. Very friendly service. Excellent gourmet cuisine, not cheap but worth every euro. We usually choose the menu. A glass of champagne as an aperitif and a corresponding wine for each course. All dishes are delicious and very appetizingly prepared. Price-performance is right. We can only recommend the restaurant.

Menu with very imaginative dishes that not only look very good, special editions are very tasty. Price and performance are absolutely consistent. It wasn't the last time we were here and we're looking forward to more great evenings in this very nice inn with great hosts. Thank you

Eine gastfreundliche Oase inmitten von geschichtlichem Flair. Das Ambiente stimmt, die angebotenen Köstlichkeiten frohlocken dem Gaumen. Übersichtlich, frisch und sehr gute Kompositionen dazu ein sehr stimmiges Weinangebot. Was will man mehr. Wir sind immer wieder begeistert und kommen wieder, egal in welchem Lokal ihr serviert 😉. Wir finden euch durch die Empfehlungen vor Ort wieder.

Ungewöhnliche Qualität zu einem guten Preis; eher zu preiswert. Sehr ungewöhnliche Karte und tolle Zusammensetzung je Gericht. Auch für Veggies geeignet. Sehr ruhige Atmosphäre und die saubersten sowie angenehmsten WC‘s der letzten Monate.

Even without a reservation we got a place. The food was very tasty - the truffle dumplings and the fried rice are absolute recommendations. The rice pudding for dessert was a surprisingly delicious implementation. We'd love to come back!

Great! In the evening sun, Bauer's was literally illuminated and already offered a tempting sight. The outdoor seating is beautifully located because the market square has a very special charm and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the time-honored buildings. The service was very attentive and courteous, so we felt comfortable throughout. The food - pork chop with potato and parmesan mash and lemon risotto with sea bream and vegetables - was also excellent and gave us wonderful strength and inspiration after a long bike ride. Sehr lecker. Haben das 4 Gang Menu mit Weinbegleitung gegessen. Waren zu viert. Die Portionen sind recht übersichtlich aber geschmacklich wirklich toll. Die Preise sind recht hoch aber die Zutaten wirklich frisch. Man kann die Zubereitung durch die Scheibe in die offene Küche beobachten. Die Bedienungen sind wirklich sehr freundlich. Mir hat der Abend wirklich Spaß gemacht und ich komme bestimmt mal wieder.

Without exaggeration I can say that this is the best Cigköfte shop in Cologne! What makes it stand out so much is the absolute freshness of the ingredients and the salad, the cleanliness and the very friendly staff there. I always order the Cigköfte Big Wrap for €7.50. That's why I always try to go here when I want to eat Cigköfte, because the competition really doesn't taste nearly as good as it does here. Just try it out for yourself next time you're in Ehrenfeld.
