Ambitious. Maybe we were unlucky with the food selection, but there was room for improvement. French fries—no matter what name they're given—are not what I expect in a restaurant like this, especially in this price range.

Fantastic cuisine with lovingly prepared dishes and a clearly structured menu. The wine selection from the in-house Sermann winery is outstanding and makes the visit a highly recommended experience.

A very special Ahr Valley restaurant is located here at the end of a side street in Altenahr...affiliated with the Sermann winery, which produces excellent wines...the food is creatively upscale, as are the prices and the presentation...but you know that beforehand when you visit such a restaurant...the taste is excellent, the chef clearly knows his craft...the portions could be a bit larger to make you feel full...the service is very friendly and attentive...the modernized atmosphere is harmonious and refined...the outdoor terrace invites you to linger in good weather, with a view of the vineyards...for those looking for something a little more special, this restaurant is highly recommended...

Very small portions, tasty, but not filling. Given the high praise, perhaps we simply expected more. But it's not bad either.

We bought a gift certificate for the Thüres restaurant for our colleague's birthday. Something went wrong with the mail delivery and the voucher wouldn't have arrived in time. It was personally delivered to us in Bonn so we could hand it over on the right day. You can't really top service like that.

It's great that Thüres exists! Since opening, Lukas Sermann has been making a sophisticated, creative, and ambitious statement on the Ahr: looking ahead! New wines, new cuisine, new ideas. It's fun, delicious, and literally affordable, yet remains down-to-earth and connected to the region. We wish you continued success!

We were at Thüres on Friday the 13th and had a very pleasant evening. Fine dining in a beautiful atmosphere. The food (we treated ourselves to the 5-course menu with wine pairing) was imaginative—emmer risotto, google it yourself—and very tasty. The wines were a perfect match (after all, what's the point of having your own winery), and the service was very attentive and engaging. It couldn't have been better. Thank you very much, we'd love to come back. 😊

Fine dining at affordable prices! I had asparagus with pesto potatoes and two kinds of ham. It was a real success. And the wine tastes great, whether with a meal or just on its own! I wish you all the best for the future!

Six of us had a lovely evening with you. We started with a wine tasting with a total of six Sermann wines and found it very interesting and, of course, delicious. Afterwards, we enjoyed the food in a cozy atmosphere and with even more delicious wine. It was an all-around successful evening, thank you very much.

Seven of us had a truly wonderful evening at Thüres. All seven courses of food were truly a dream. The service was consistently excellent. The wine list also leaves absolutely nothing to be desired, whether wines from the Sermann winery or high-end wines from across Germany—a wine list like this is truly rare, and when it's so carefully priced that it tempts you to have another bottle, then everything is truly perfect. Thank you for this unforgettable evening! I'll be back on my next visit to the Ahr!

I have a few difficulties finding the words regarding my (several) visits to the restaurant and try to describe my impressions: Every time it is a coming home and a bit of vacation, a little trip. In the most stylish ambience in the Ahr Valley you can enjoy an evening in a family atmosphere in an incomparable atmosphere with a maximum of 16 people. You can spontaneously choose between a cozy evening for two or chatting across three tables like you would with friends. I have never experienced such a dynamic. The food is incredibly creative and diverse, always regional and seasonal. Products come to the table, some of which have already been forgotten. In my opinion, the standard of the cuisine exceeds anything else in the local gastronomy. Special wines are recommended to match the food, carefully selected and described if you are interested. The charming staff not only uses their own wines, but also the entire range of high-quality German producers. I have many more thoughts about the restaurant, winery, staff, food, etc., but I would like to leave it at an express recommendation.

Enjoyed a lunch with delicious Riesling on the terrace. Nice location with friendly service. Wide choice of good and affordable wines. In the afternoon there is a small menu with salads and bread dishes.

We went to the restaurant with the family for the first time today and were completely thrilled: sophisticated dishes (we had a hard time choosing because the menu sounded incredibly delicious - a big thank you to the kitchen), plus such good wines in a wonderful ambience ( first on the terrace in mild temperatures, then in the restaurant) and a friendly team around us that looked after us! Off to the Ahr Valley! Off to the door! The newly expanded, modern restaurant of the Sermann winery is located in the midst of the still clearly visible consequences of the flood disaster. Managed with a lot of love, passion and expertise by a young, committed team. In addition to the winery's exceptional, modern wines, you will get first-class food here, prepared by the 24-year-old chef with experience in star cuisine. With meat from neighboring meadows, vegetables and greens from local farmers, eggs from the chickens behind the house and herbs from our own herb garden - arranged in exciting and unusual combinations that promise a taste experience. The service was impeccable, warm and attentive, and accompanied our evening with a small wine tasting and exciting information about the wines and the region. A clear, warm recommendation. Wir hatten gestern Abend das große Vergnügen, das Restaurant Thüres in Altenahr spontan zu besuchen. Uns wurde ein gemütlicher Tisch in der modern gestalteten Location zugewiesen. Das ausgewählte 5-Gang-Menü inklusive Weinbegleitung bot eine tolle Auswahl an heimischen Produkten, frisch zubereitet, voller Geschmack und Aromen. Die Kombination aus hochwertigen Zutaten, die Liebe zum Detail und das fachliche Wissen von dem sympathischen Herrn Lukas Sermann sorgten für ein kulinarisches Erlebnis. Man spürt sofort, dass das gesamte Team mit Herzblut zusammen arbeitet. Alle Mitarbeiter waren herzlich und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns während unseres Besuches sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Kurz zusammengefasst war der Besuch eine außergewöhnliche kulinarische Erfahrung. Die Kombination aus köstlichem Essen, leckeren Weinen, erstklassigem Service und herzlicher Atmosphäre macht das Restaurant zu einem Ort, den wir jedem weiterempfehlen würden. Kleines feines Restaurant mit sehr persönlichen Service. Wir hatten das 5-Gänge-Menü mit qualitativ hochwertigen regionalen Zutaten. Alle Gänge waren sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch ein Genuss. Absolut passendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Die Kürbissuppe war köstlich aber 2 € zusätzlich für Brot berechnen zu wollen, passt nicht in mein Konzept. Ich wünsche dem Unternehmen alles Gute - werde mich wohl anderweitig orientieren

Wir haben sehr leckeren Wildsalat , Forelle und Pilzpotpourri gegessen. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!

Wunderschönes, kleines Restaurant, eröffnet vom Winzer Lukas Sermann. Individueller Service (von Lukas selbst), kreative Küche und eine wahnsinnig tolle Weinauswahl (sowohl Weine des eigenen Weingutes als auch von Spitzenwinzern) zu sehr günstigen Preisen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Uno de los mejores restaurantes en Alemania que conozco. Un viticultor joven que pone todo su empeño tanto en la realización de sus vinos como en la gerencia de su pequeño pero con mucho gusto decorado restaurante. Pedimos el menú con acompañamiento de sus vinos:Sermann... Cada uno de ellos acompañaba a cada uno de los platos muy elaborados y excelentes. Todo perfecto. Gracias Lukas

ein wirkliches erlebnis. trotz der immer noch vorhandenen einschränkungen an der ahr ein besuch, der bei besuchern und besuchten positive gedanken hinterlässt! das restaurant genügt höheren erwartungen mit einem durchgehenden standard bis zum schluss. einzig ein gericht kam ein wenig 'fad' daher. aber das ist bekanntlich geschmackssache. überdurchschnittlich gut das dessert!! für die nachspeise-affinen und küchenbegeisterten halb-österreicherinnen in der familie eine offenbarung. erst später entdeckt: ein wirklich sehr guter sauvignon blanc von sermann. und alles zu fairen preisen!

Das Essen ist einfach richtig lecker (bei den Soßen musste ich mich zurückhalten, sie nicht aus der Sauciere zu trinken), das Ambiente ausgesprochen bequem und geschmackvoll und der Service balanciert meisterhaft zwischen professionell und unprätentiös. Dazu noch ein angenehmes Publikum... Herz, was willst Du mehr?

Eine tolle Überraschung! Die kreativ zubereiteten Gerichte waren alle perfekt! In der Küche agiert ein junges Talent auf Sterneniveau, wir waren begeistert. Zu den Gängen gab es ausnehmend gute Weinempfehlungen durch den Besitzer vom eigenen Weingut, köstlich, wir kamen garnicht auf den Gedanken einen „fremden“ Wein von der gut bestückten Weinkarte zu wählen. Als Veggi bekam ich abseits der Karte köstliche Alternativen. Wir sind bereits begeisterte Wiederholungstäter!
