We had a really great evening in Thüres with 7 people. The food was truly a dream for all 7 courses. The service was always very good. The wine list also leaves absolutely nothing to be desired, whether wines from the Sermann winery or high-end wines from all over Germany. It's really rare to find such a wine list and if it's calculated in such a way that it invites you to drink another bottle, then everything is really perfect. Thank you for this unforgettable evening! I'll be back on my next visit to the Ahr!

We were completely satisfied and thrilled with the holiday apartment, the beautiful nature and of course the excellent cuisine and service. We'd love to come back.

Small but nice place to stop in the heart of Altenahr. Nice atmosphere, service staff friendly and accommodating. Overall, the menu is clear, but that's perfectly fine. For starters, we can definitely recommend the homemade bread with herb butter. I myself have pizza salami, but here I feel like I have 100 special requests, but that's not a problem (for an additional charge, of course). Extra garlic seasoning was always delivered quickly 😉 My companions' schnitzel plates were all presented very attractively. With your choice of fries or croquettes + salad. This was also found to be very tasty by everyone. Only the schnitzels could be a bit bigger. Overall a successful evening. Gladly again...

We ate at Paolo's twice this week👍 The dishes were absolutely delicious (the salad dressing was simply a “poem”😋) and Paolo was a kind-hearted person👌💚

Food is well served had for me and my son ordered a currywurst with fries (€7.00), the fries were lukewarm and the sausage was cold, which is why 2 stars.

All in all a rather below average restaurant. If you like American/Irish booming line/square dance music, you'll really get your money's worth here apart from the food. Anyone who can attribute a certain amount of aesthetics to pensioners with hip dysplastic/osteoporous hip dysplastic/osteoporous dancing against their own internal clock at the end of the last butter trip will immediately feel good. However, if you're hoping for a little refreshment after a long or short hike, the word "disappointed" isn't really enough. Waiters were neither helpful nor friendly. Food had to be ordered multiple times. Onion cake was partly homemade and classified as edible. But not anymore. Federweißer was OK. Will only see me again in an emergency.
