food was amazing! came at around 6pm on a saturday, without booking we still got a table. we got the mix of dishes with the fish added and it was incredible. nice flavor and lots of food. my favorite was the peanut sauce. definitely recommend the sharing plate so you can try a lot of things!

Food tastes good. However, the shop and the preparation of the food do not look particularly hygienic.

The food looks so simple yet is so delicious - some of the best stuff I've ever tried! Still thinking about the rice soup and meat skewers with plantains I had. Mimi is also a lovely person, along with being a great chef. Definitely recommend!

A somewhat inconspicuous shop from the outside. But the food was delicious!! Rarely have I found a dish that was so flavorful. The employee was extremely nice and explained everything to us. The food is also a bit spicier and, in my experience, very authentic. I will definitely come here regularly

If the cooks in the kitchen dance to African music while cooking, the food can only be good! Very friendly staff and you can 100% taste the passion and love for food. Only recommended!

We had a lovely, cozy evening at Makenene, with great music, nice service and, above all, delicious food at a fair price :) I can only recommend it!
