Last Saturday I was there with family, children and friends. I always like food very much. Customer service is also good. Prices are ok. I've been coming there for a few years and the restaurant keeps looking better. A good restaurant to have lunch or dinner with family or friends. I also recommend it for a romantic dinner for two. On Valentine's Day it is better to reserve a table in advance.

today we visited the saigon restaurant, ordered rice with duck and noodle soup with beef, the duck was perfectly fried in a very tasty sauce, the portions were large, the soup was light, and after it there was no heaviness in the stomach, it was like cinnamon and mint, I wanted to sleep after it 😴 delicious!!!

Pho bowl is special, but not very delicious. Perhaps because it was early in the day, the broth was not yet rich and lacked vegetables. In addition, the space is cozy and the service is polite but not attentive.

The best Pho in the area hands down!!! The owner previously owned Saigon downtown, but someone else took it over, so he's here now. He's a very nice gentleman, and the food is great!

Eating took over 40 minutes and the sandwich was so cold and soft like it had been taken out of the fridge. Also the meat. Didn't like it at all and can't understand the hype. But employees are friendly. The store itself smells like grease and the air is so bad that it burns your eyes. This is probably because the kitchen is open and is not ventilated. Afterwards you smell like you personally cooked in the kitchen.

This restaurant was previously sold under the name LILA. Then the restaurant owner recently sold it. The new owner changed the name of the restaurant to "MANGO Vietnamese". After some initial difficulties when taking over this restaurant in terms of organization, ..... business is now going much better than before. I have already visited this restaurant 3 times. The last time was on Monday, December 2nd, 2024. I intentionally ordered a very popular Vietnamese special dish from the southern region of Vietnam ("cơm sườn") to test the taste and the stability of the taste of this dish. The new restaurant passed my personal test with flying colors! 👍👍👍 1. The taste is really excellent and very authentic if you compare it with the original taste in South Vietnam! 2. Even more commendable, the taste of this famous dish in southern Vietnam has hardly changed compared to my second visit almost a month ago! There is almost no change in taste here (suddenly too salty or too bland!) like in some Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants in and around Kaiserslautern! 3. When exchanging opinions with the restaurant owner (he is also the head chef in the kitchen), I noticed that he is very patient in listening to the customers' opinions and constructive criticism (where else can be improved to ensure customer satisfaction? to improve ? Service, food quality, price-performance ratio, .... His willingness to learn is really noticeable 👍👍👍 The only negative here in my opinion is that Restaurant MANGO - just like LILA before - is too narrow and therefore doesn't offer enough seats for guests. The ambience is normal, if not rather "weak"! On the other hand, I have to admit, it is not easy - if not possible at all - to improve or change this "weak point"! 🤔🤔🤔

Food (all dishes, both sushi and the rest) are very well prepared. The fish as the main course (salmon and tuna) was a little over the top, but still okay. The soups as main courses are great. Unfortunately, in the winter months it is a bit cool in the restaurant, and there is also a very strong smell in the restaurant. Visually but very appealing and comfortable.

For me the best Asian ever. The taste is incredibly delicious, I always receive very friendly service and the portions are absolutely proportionate to the price. I always enjoy coming here, absolutely recommended!

Das Essen im Saigon ist immer sehr lecker. Alles wird stets frisch im Wok zubereitet, die Gemüse sind auf den Punkt gegart. Wir essen schon seit Jahren dort und waren immer begeistert. Absolut empfehlenswert!
