We ate there for the second time today and again it was great. The food was very fresh, high quality and well prepared. An absolute taste explosion. We are already looking forward to the next visit... In any case you should reserve a table. Cash only.

Two attempts and both times I hit the wall completely.

Chic shop and basically delicious dishes. I deliberately chose a dish with cilantro, which I love. The chile lime sauce also sounded great. A friend chose the same. The dishes looked different, their rice noodles were brown in a sauce with chili, garlic, etc. Mine were white, without sauce. Neither of us had coriander. We pointed this out and received feedback that coriander was out. That's it. No accommodation in the price, no offer to complete the dish, nothing...

The service was horrible. When we asked to be seated away from the door the waitress simply said: no! Without excuse or explanation. The door was constantly opened that cold wind would come in. When we asked to order more drinks we had to ask 3 waiters until someone was willing to take our order and the same with payment in the end. The food was not more than okay so ih didn’t make up for the bad service.

The food is very tasty, fresh and varied. The ambience has an iconic charm and the service is friendly and attentive. Absolutely recommended!

The food is always fresh and very tasty. The staff are always very friendly, unfortunately ordering drinks is a bit more difficult, especially when there is a lot going on, but otherwise a wonderful restaurant that I can highly recommend!

Wanted to spend a nice evening there. The starter was nothing special, but ok. Then my wife and I ordered the main course. After a maximum of 2 minutes both plates were served, surprisingly quickly... well. I had rice with duck, my wife had noodles with chicken. Neither tasted great. Then, after a few bites, a black hair appeared in my rice ball. I pulled on it and it was a long black... I lost my appetite and we called a member of staff. She apologized for that. My wife also asked her food to be cleared away because she had also lost her appetite. The employee offered not to charge for the two main courses. We agreed. When paying later it suddenly said that only one dish would be reimbursed. Despite intervention that they had also cleared my wife's almost full plate and promised that she would not be charged, they continued to demand that we pay for it. It got too much for me, we paid and left. Oh one more thing, only cash payment and there was no invoice... Never go there again!

Nice outdoor terrace in summer, somewhat cool atmosphere inside. Nice and attentive service, but unfortunately the quality of the food varies. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good! The summer rolls looked carelessly put together, tasted tough and like the fridge, and were far too cold. The same thing with the red curry, this time unfortunately watery, very bland in taste and the rice wasn't really warm. Too bad! You should work on the quality of the food, there is room for improvement! Cash only.

Unfortunately, the food left a bad aftertaste when we paid for it. An existing voucher was not accepted for payment; it supposedly should have been announced in advance, there was no mention of it anywhere or it was not informed before the visit or order. In addition, only cash payment was possible, which gives me (and I expressly emphasize) the suspicion that not everything is going well here. As I said, this is just my personal assessment and assumption and that's why I don't comment on it. If I am refused acceptance of a voucher that has already been paid for and is valid, then this is simply embezzlement and cannot be completely dismissed under criminal law ($246 StGB). A voucher is like cash, if I use a voucher, how should that change the value of the food I ordered? Or will I perhaps receive an inferior meal with a voucher or, in the best case, a better one?

Food and service were great. Unfortunately very loud. The washrooms should be checked more often. 🙃

Directly at the cable car station on the Rhine at the German corner. Very tasty food, you can taste the fresh spices, it doesn't taste like any flavor enhancer. Price performance is right.

An Nam is one of my favorite restaurants in Koblenz. When we head south, we often plan our trip to stop in Koblenz to eat. The only criticism is that it is a bit cool in the restaurant outside of summer. But the food and drinks (homemade sodas and teas) are top notch.

Delicious food and nice ambience. Unfortunately, many of the dishes that should normally be vegan are made with cow's milk and cannot be prepared vegan, which makes the choice of vegan dishes very limited. This could be adjusted. In addition, cash payments have only been possible for years, which is also very annoying.

Great Vietnamese restaurant on the banks of the Rhine in Koblenz. A small snack as part of a city tour with "Eat the World" followed by a delicious dinner at the end of the day. Delicious lemonades, great main courses, delicious sushi 🍣. What more could you want?

We have reserved for 8 people. When we arrived, we were given a different place because of the stroller, where the baby was close to us and it didn't bother anyone. Very flexible and accommodating. After we ordered our food including a starter, the food came quite quickly. Rice with duck for me and different sushi variants in the middle. It was really delicious and fresh. We asked several times if everything was okay and it was. Very nice waitresses and very tasty food. There is nothing to complain about.

We actually wanted to go out for a delicious meal there on September 26th, 2024, but then left hungry because payment was only possible in cash. When making the reservation a day in advance, this was not pointed out, which is what I personally expect, as I assume that card payment will be possible at a large restaurant in 2024. According to other reviews, this wasn't a problem that existed in the short term, but rather for a long time.

Very tasty food. We had the udon noodles with teriyaki sauce and fresh vegetables. Unfortunately, with the flat rice noodles with soy-shallot sauce, the sauce was a bit very watery and salty. As a starter, the homemade spring rolls and gyoza, both of which are also very tasty. The sticky mango for dessert was also very good! The food came really quickly, we had the starter and main course within 20 minutes of ordering. But both were really hot and fresh. Each dish can be ordered vegetarian, with chicken or other meat/fish. Delicious homemade iced teas!

Modern location, friendly service and great view! On 8/24/24 the rice was totally mushy. The Aperol hardly contained any sparkling wine, which was disappointing for €9.90 per glass. But the portions were relatively large and everyone was well fed.

Cute and buzzy place along the waterfront with nice outdoor dining. The food was less convincing. The vegetable tempura had a bread like crust and no broth, and the soy pho was tasty but had really nothing with a real pho, more like noodles in a sweet onion soup and a mixed salad thrown in with with the same bowl. Very strange.

Much of the food was really nice but one dish (a bun bun) had rotten salad on it. I couldn’t get a new dish and in the end they gave us €3 in discount. For a dish that cost 19 euros with rotten salad and mushy noodles

The restaurant is located directly on the Rhine near the German Corner. It was well attended but we got a spot straight away. The staff was nice. We didn't really have to wait for the food; it came very quickly, which was great. It also tasted good. If you like Vietnamese or sushi you can visit the local place. Unfortunately, only cash payment was possible

Four of us were guests here when there was little going on - at the beginning we were the only guests. Unfortunately, the service took some time to get up to operating temperature. So it took a very long time before we were noticed. Food came quickly, was freshly prepared and tasted very good. Cleanliness in the restaurant was excellent. The ambience was also very nice. As service becomes faster and more efficient, a 4-star recommendation becomes a 5-star recommendation.

Been there as a guest on and off over the last few years. The food WAS fantastic. The visit was now more than sobering. Two different dishes all tasted like nothing / neutral and for this price. A no go. One had a stomach ache afterwards...

This is the second time I've tried to go to this restaurant to eat. The first time I arrived at 8:45 p.m. and they told me the kitchen was already closed. Today I went to have lunch at 2:30 p.m. and they told me that the kitchen was closed. The opening hours on Google state that the restaurant is open from 11 am to 10:30 pm. The kitchen opening hours must be updated and included in google.

Sitting outside was very nice with flowers and the Rhine. The dishes were very tasty and not a small portion. Two stars deducted because the waiters and waitresses worked without smiles or with poker faces. It looked ugly and unfortunate. Quite the opposite of the good taste of the food.

Top shop for Asian food. The food is very tasty, there is a lot of choice for vegetarians/vegans and it was served incredibly quickly. The service was courteous and attentive.

impudence. Sunday 5:20 p.m., sunny, outside area 7 (!!) free tables. We had already been sitting there for 5 minutes and wanted the menus. We were then asked by an employee to take a seat inside or to queue up (there was NO queue in the entrance area), which of course we didn't do. Instead we got up (with prior threat) and left! Incredibly poor and inflexible service.

Terrible experience, they threw away the food me and my friends ordered to take home, and the dishes of my friends were tasteless, and for the high price we paid, its not worth it.

An Nam serves delicious food from pho soups and udon noodles to sushi, desserts and homemade lemonades, teas and other drinks. There is a quiet atmosphere despite the many visitors to the restaurant and it is ideal for many occasions.

Was very disappointed. I've been eating there for years and have never been served so rudely by a waitress. When we wanted to order, she just went outside and smoked while we were ordering and completely deliberately ignored us. In contrast to her, the colleague was very polite, but we still got up and left because I have never experienced anything so rude.

We haven't been disappointed with the food yet. The prices are a bit higher but reasonable for the quality and portion. In addition, the atmosphere is very cozy and right on the Rhine. Sometimes it takes a while for the service to arrive, but otherwise it is very good. It's worth making reservations, especially in the evenings.

The food is delicious and authentic. The spring rolls alone are sensational. Not fried but grilled. All main courses very tasty. The ambience might be a little too dark, but that's a matter of taste.

The food at An Nam always tastes very good and is always lovingly prepared. The portions are large and the ingredients are always high quality. For us the address for delicious Asian cuisine in Koblenz. For most dishes you can choose between chicken, duck or tofu, which I personally like very much. The homemade drinks are also highly recommended. The outdoor area is very cozy, with a view of the Rhine and Ehrenbreitstein.

The waitress didn't give the remaining money back and just pocketed it. The food was 0/10 we had pho but that was the worst pho we ate. Service wasn't friendly at all and they insulted us in their own language. Never again and not recommended.

Service was a tad slow in the beginning but after that it was great. The food was absolutely amazing!

In my opinion the location is just an imposition. One star for service is also too much. If you don't want to be ignored by the staff, I can highly recommend the store. So waiting 25 minutes to place the order and then being served unfriendly by the waiter is definitely not a recommendation for me. Then to wait three quarters of an hour for the order and then to be surprised with little dish but a lot of salad (so that the plate looks fuller) is a complete disgrace. The location is very nice, with the view of the Rhine, but for me that doesn't justify the price-performance ratio

Unfortunately my food was very spicy, there could have been two chili 🌶️🌶️ on the menu and my husband's food, in contrast to mine, was tasteless because the mango 🥭 was missing or it didn't taste good at all. The waitress wasn't attentive either and didn't make any effort to ask if everything was okay. Well… for the second time, we were unfortunately disappointed because once again the EC payments didn't work (illegal work suspected)!! It is best to inform the guest about this in advance.

The food here has always been very good, tasty and sufficiently portioned. What has unfortunately become increasingly worse is the service. On several occasions we had to wait over an hour after ordering. This cannot be justified given the size of the restaurant and the menu. You can eat both vegan and vegetarian food very deliciously here. Barrier-free access (but not to the toilets) is also provided. A recommendation with the caveat that it can take a long time. Even though the 3-star rating might make it seem a little different, the food is really good.

We were there for the second time. The food was, like last time, very tasty. We ordered the largest platter (when we first visited about a year ago it was actually said to be for 4 people) for two, also like last time. This time it was said it would be for 8 people, although it was even less... Well, we ordered it anyway and managed almost all of it, we had the rest packed up. When we paid (even with a good tip) the man told us that the next time we came, we shouldn't take this plate because it wasn't appropriate. (He said that with such a rude tone). I find it outrageous that if there had been something left over from another dish, which can happen from time to time, would he have reacted so rudely?? Unfortunately we won't be coming back, what we order is our business, he gets his money for it, apart from that we took the leftovers with us, so nothing was thrown away!!!

The food is really delicious, especially the best sushi in Koblenz. I would recommend it to anyone 10/10 There is a lot of choice from starters, main course, suhsi etc. Vegetarian dishes are also offered, I think no other restaurant can beat An Nam in terms of taste.

This was our third time in the restaurant and we can't understand the good reviews. Yes, the location is great, right on the Rhine, it couldn't be better. But the benches are a disaster. The service if he hadn't been constantly waving after him he wouldn't have come to us even after 45 minutes. The food is okay, but nothing more, not very seasoned and doesn't taste like much. We know a lot better Asian restaurants in the city. As I said, it wasn't an isolated incident, we've been here a few times and it was never really good.

The staff are very friendly. The food was delicious, great value for money and you were full. The drinks prices are a bit too high compared to the food in my opinion. But the view of the Rhine makes it hard to get over :-). The benches on the terrace are a bit uncomfortable in the long run. I would love to come back and can only recommend everyone to stop by here.

Vietnamese and Japanese food in a restaurant. Sit like a Spartan indoors and outdoors when the weather is nice and still eat comfortably. Toilets clean and sufficiently available. Dishes well presented at a good price and performance ratio. Pleasant location on the Deutsches Eck directly on the Rhine.

I have been a satisfied customer since day 1 who keeps coming back because of the tasty food. However, satisfaction has decreased significantly in the last 12 months. The service is getting worse and the quality of the food is no longer comparable to what I was used to from the start. I'm very sorry, but this was our last visit.

Worst service experience ever! We were told before sitting down that the meal time was only 90 minutes, which we accepted. But because we asked "why" (a perfectly normal question), when we left the front desk and took our seats, a male waiter with glasses turned around and imitated us by talking to his colleagues, saying "why, why, why" in a weird way. Ordering and dining took less than an hour. We had just finished our meal and before we finished our drinks, the waiter started to collect the plates and hand over the bill. His attitude was so obvious that there were still many empty seats in the restaurant. The food is mediocre, the attitude is bad, and everyone avoids it. btw, beef bulgogi is extremely salty, be careful!

How were the first guests who entered the restaurant and were ignored by the service staff. After 4 groups of visitors were served before us and the lady then simply left without taking our order, we left. Very ignorant and inattentive. Every time I've eaten there, you have to wait a long time for your food. You can overlook that because it also tastes very tasty. However, today we were the first customers there and we weren't even served, all the other guests even got their drinks and we weren't even looked at. It also looks very unprofessional when there is only one waitress out of 8 employees walking around while the others talk about their private lives in front of the guests and in between the restaurant is being prepared for the guests, which can also be done before the store opens.

My friend and I went to eat there after sports and at first we were thrilled. We found the shop through neotaste and the food is really delicious but the service from the waitress really ruined our day. Because she couldn't get it together when we told her (the store wasn't full, there were only 2 other tables occupied), we paid double because the coupon could no longer be activated. When we politely asked if we could redeem it later, she refused. I work with NeoTaste myself and come from the catering industry, so I know that this is possible. After we paid twice as much as we had initially, she looked at us stupidly because we didn't give her a tip. It's a shame that the service is so unfriendly, as the food was very tasty, but we definitely won't be coming back.

We were guests for the first time today on a Tuesday and we are absolutely thrilled! Authentic, high-quality Asian cuisine, great flair, fast service and a fine selection of dishes. A real revelation in terms of taste and presentation of the food. The restaurant was busy and yet it wasn't too loud. Price-performance ratio is completely within the normal range for dishes of this quality. Parking options within a few minutes' walk. We will be back! Thank you for this experience!

The ambience is good and the service is quick and friendly. We didn't have to wait long and the food came very quickly. Everything tasted ok. The paper for the summer rolls was very firm to the bite. The main course was seasoned ok. The dessert was good - sticky mango - unfortunately not entirely authentic but ok. Panna Cotta a little too soft. All in all good

Great location on the Rhine. When the weather is good you can sit outside and look at the Rhine. The seats in the restaurant are also comfortable and beautiful. The food was delicious and we were served quickly. The service was a little quieter, but nice. Toilet is clean but very open. No card payment was possible during our visit.

Food was super delicious. Service friendly and quick. Inside you sit individually, whether as a couple or depending on the size of the group. An outdoor terrace can also be used.

Went there for dinner with a friend and had previously ordered meat barbecue. On the one hand, the portion was far too small for 2 people and that for 23 euros. The taste was good. On the other hand, the table with the integrated grill wasn't really clean. There was a black mat in the table grill, which didn't look appetizing and also had one or two flaws. Service was subpar. A service person who only acted when called. The side dishes are actually included in the barbecue, but only if we explicitly pointed out they would have refilled them for us. It was too stupid for us, especially there was no meat left. A plate with various types of meat for two people at that price is simply not enough/expensive. With drinks, barbecue and two additional starters on top for 63 euros is too expensive in my opinion. I will advise against it for now and not dare to visit again.

Updated again: Phew, the prices are pretty decent. 400 ml of cola for 5.50. I ordered vegetarian summer rolls without tofu: 8 euros. It was basically just salad with sauce. Unfortunately, I, an idiot, was pretty hungry and knew that the main course wasn't a huge portion either. At some point a rather greasy smell wafted through the entire restaurant. The waiters only came when spoken to. Food was OK, but I have to be honest, I think the price performance at Papa Umi is much better. Won't go here again. Update: The food was again very, very tasty and visually beautifully presented. Nice employees, but unfortunately they don't show up after receiving the food. It was like that last time. For further drinks etc you have to draw attention to yourself. Most chairs have no backrest. Ambience superficially very nice. Been there once. Quite a strong smell of fish when entering. The ambience/decor is quite nice, but less attention is paid to the details (cobwebs and such, toilet). Friendly service. Food was ready very quickly - value for money was very good, it tasted great. I don't know whether a man can get full from just one main course. For me it could have been a little more rice instead of meat. The food is very reminiscent of Papa Umi. Overall recommended 👍 In summer the terrace and location are probably even better :)
