Super nice service and very tasty food - absolutely recommended

Modern location, friendly service and great view! On 8/24/24 the rice was totally mushy. The Aperol hardly contained any sparkling wine, which was disappointing for €9.90 per glass. But the portions were relatively large and everyone was well fed.

Cute and buzzy place along the waterfront with nice outdoor dining. The food was less convincing. The vegetable tempura had a bread like crust and no broth, and the soy pho was tasty but had really nothing with a real pho, more like noodles in a sweet onion soup and a mixed salad thrown in with with the same bowl. Very strange.

Much of the food was really nice but one dish (a bun bun) had rotten salad on it. I couldn’t get a new dish and in the end they gave us €3 in discount. For a dish that cost 19 euros with rotten salad and mushy noodles

The restaurant is located directly on the Rhine near the German Corner. It was well attended but we got a spot straight away. The staff was nice. We didn't really have to wait for the food; it came very quickly, which was great. It also tasted good. If you like Vietnamese or sushi you can visit the local place. Unfortunately, only cash payment was possible

Four of us were guests here when there was little going on - at the beginning we were the only guests. Unfortunately, the service took some time to get up to operating temperature. So it took a very long time before we were noticed. Food came quickly, was freshly prepared and tasted very good. Cleanliness in the restaurant was excellent. The ambience was also very nice. As service becomes faster and more efficient, a 4-star recommendation becomes a 5-star recommendation.

Been there as a guest on and off over the last few years. The food WAS fantastic. The visit was now more than sobering. Two different dishes all tasted like nothing / neutral and for this price. A no go. One had a stomach ache afterwards...

This is the second time I've tried to go to this restaurant to eat. The first time I arrived at 8:45 p.m. and they told me the kitchen was already closed. Today I went to have lunch at 2:30 p.m. and they told me that the kitchen was closed. The opening hours on Google state that the restaurant is open from 11 am to 10:30 pm. The kitchen opening hours must be updated and included in google.

Sitting outside was very nice with flowers and the Rhine. The dishes were very tasty and not a small portion. Two stars deducted because the waiters and waitresses worked without smiles or with poker faces. It looked ugly and unfortunate. Quite the opposite of the good taste of the food.

Top shop for Asian food. The food is very tasty, there is a lot of choice for vegetarians/vegans and it was served incredibly quickly. The service was courteous and attentive.

impudence. Sunday 5:20 p.m., sunny, outside area 7 (!!) free tables. We had already been sitting there for 5 minutes and wanted the menus. We were then asked by an employee to take a seat inside or to queue up (there was NO queue in the entrance area), which of course we didn't do. Instead we got up (with prior threat) and left! Incredibly poor and inflexible service.

Terrible experience, they threw away the food me and my friends ordered to take home, and the dishes of my friends were tasteless, and for the high price we paid, its not worth it.

Very nicely located Asian restaurant on the Rhine promenade with a large selection of dishes. Very tasty and, above all, sufficient. Staff very nice and helpful. Unfortunately you can only pay in cash on site. Hence a star deduction for service.

An Nam serves delicious food from pho soups and udon noodles to sushi, desserts and homemade lemonades, teas and other drinks. There is a quiet atmosphere despite the many visitors to the restaurant and it is ideal for many occasions.

Was very disappointed. I've been eating there for years and have never been served so rudely by a waitress. When we wanted to order, she just went outside and smoked while we were ordering and completely deliberately ignored us. In contrast to her, the colleague was very polite, but we still got up and left because I have never experienced anything so rude.

We were only there briefly for a drink and a fantastic sushi dish. The sushi was delicious, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

We haven't been disappointed with the food yet. The prices are a bit higher but reasonable for the quality and portion. In addition, the atmosphere is very cozy and right on the Rhine. Sometimes it takes a while for the service to arrive, but otherwise it is very good. It's worth making reservations, especially in the evenings.

The food is delicious and authentic. The spring rolls alone are sensational. Not fried but grilled. All main courses very tasty. The ambience might be a little too dark, but that's a matter of taste.

The food at An Nam always tastes very good and is always lovingly prepared. The portions are large and the ingredients are always high quality. For us the address for delicious Asian cuisine in Koblenz. For most dishes you can choose between chicken, duck or tofu, which I personally like very much. The homemade drinks are also highly recommended. The outdoor area is very cozy, with a view of the Rhine and Ehrenbreitstein.

The waitress didn't give the remaining money back and just pocketed it. The food was 0/10 we had pho but that was the worst pho we ate. Service wasn't friendly at all and they insulted us in their own language. Never again and not recommended.

Service was a tad slow in the beginning but after that it was great. The food was absolutely amazing!

In my opinion the location is just an imposition. One star for service is also too much. If you don't want to be ignored by the staff, I can highly recommend the store. So waiting 25 minutes to place the order and then being served unfriendly by the waiter is definitely not a recommendation for me. Then to wait three quarters of an hour for the order and then to be surprised with little dish but a lot of salad (so that the plate looks fuller) is a complete disgrace. The location is very nice, with the view of the Rhine, but for me that doesn't justify the price-performance ratio

Unfortunately my food was very spicy, there could have been two chili 🌶️🌶️ on the menu and my husband's food, in contrast to mine, was tasteless because the mango 🥭 was missing or it didn't taste good at all. The waitress wasn't attentive either and didn't make any effort to ask if everything was okay. Well… for the second time, we were unfortunately disappointed because once again the EC payments didn't work (illegal work suspected)!! It is best to inform the guest about this in advance.

The food here has always been very good, tasty and sufficiently portioned. What has unfortunately become increasingly worse is the service. On several occasions we had to wait over an hour after ordering. This cannot be justified given the size of the restaurant and the menu. You can eat both vegan and vegetarian food very deliciously here. Barrier-free access (but not to the toilets) is also provided. A recommendation with the caveat that it can take a long time. Even though the 3-star rating might make it seem a little different, the food is really good.

We were there for the second time. The food was, like last time, very tasty. We ordered the largest platter (when we first visited about a year ago it was actually said to be for 4 people) for two, also like last time. This time it was said it would be for 8 people, although it was even less... Well, we ordered it anyway and managed almost all of it, we had the rest packed up. When we paid (even with a good tip) the man told us that the next time we came, we shouldn't take this plate because it wasn't appropriate. (He said that with such a rude tone). I find it outrageous that if there had been something left over from another dish, which can happen from time to time, would he have reacted so rudely?? Unfortunately we won't be coming back, what we order is our business, he gets his money for it, apart from that we took the leftovers with us, so nothing was thrown away!!!

This was our third time in the restaurant and we can't understand the good reviews. Yes, the location is great, right on the Rhine, it couldn't be better. But the benches are a disaster. The service if he hadn't been constantly waving after him he wouldn't have come to us even after 45 minutes. The food is okay, but nothing more, not very seasoned and doesn't taste like much. We know a lot better Asian restaurants in the city. As I said, it wasn't an isolated incident, we've been here a few times and it was never really good.

The food is really delicious, especially the best sushi in Koblenz. I would recommend it to anyone 10/10 There is a lot of choice from starters, main course, suhsi etc. Vegetarian dishes are also offered, I think no other restaurant can beat An Nam in terms of taste.

Vietnamese and Japanese food in a restaurant. Sit like a Spartan indoors and outdoors when the weather is nice and still eat comfortably. Toilets clean and sufficiently available. Dishes well presented at a good price and performance ratio. Pleasant location on the Deutsches Eck directly on the Rhine.

The staff are very friendly. The food was delicious, great value for money and you were full. The drinks prices are a bit too high compared to the food in my opinion. But the view of the Rhine makes it hard to get over :-). The benches on the terrace are a bit uncomfortable in the long run. I would love to come back and can only recommend everyone to stop by here.

I have been a satisfied customer since day 1 who keeps coming back because of the tasty food. However, satisfaction has decreased significantly in the last 12 months. The service is getting worse and the quality of the food is no longer comparable to what I was used to from the start. I'm very sorry, but this was our last visit.

Worst service experience ever! We were told before sitting down that the meal time was only 90 minutes, which we accepted. But because we asked "why" (a perfectly normal question), when we left the front desk and took our seats, a male waiter with glasses turned around and imitated us by talking to his colleagues, saying "why, why, why" in a weird way. Ordering and dining took less than an hour. We had just finished our meal and before we finished our drinks, the waiter started to collect the plates and hand over the bill. His attitude was so obvious that there were still many empty seats in the restaurant. The food is mediocre, the attitude is bad, and everyone avoids it. btw, beef bulgogi is extremely salty, be careful!

The food tastes okay. The atmosphere in the store is nice and clean but the service is very poor. I waited for about 15 minutes without a member of staff coming to greet me. Until I had to go to them to order food (you've already seen me).

Every time I've eaten there, you have to wait a long time for your food. You can overlook that because it also tastes very tasty. However, today we were the first customers there and we weren't even served, all the other guests even got their drinks and we weren't even looked at. It also looks very unprofessional when there is only one waitress out of 8 employees walking around while the others talk about their private lives in front of the guests and in between the restaurant is being prepared for the guests, which can also be done before the store opens.

How were the first guests who entered the restaurant and were ignored by the service staff. After 4 groups of visitors were served before us and the lady then simply left without taking our order, we left. Very ignorant and inattentive. We sat there for a total of half an hour without being spoken to once. A pity ….

We were guests for the first time today on a Tuesday and we are absolutely thrilled! Authentic, high-quality Asian cuisine, great flair, fast service and a fine selection of dishes. A real revelation in terms of taste and presentation of the food. The restaurant was busy and yet it wasn't too loud. Price-performance ratio is completely within the normal range for dishes of this quality. Parking options within a few minutes' walk. We will be back! Thank you for this experience!

My friend and I went to eat there after sports and at first we were thrilled. We found the shop through neotaste and the food is really delicious but the service from the waitress really ruined our day. Because she couldn't get it together when we told her (the store wasn't full, there were only 2 other tables occupied), we paid double because the coupon could no longer be activated. When we politely asked if we could redeem it later, she refused. I work with NeoTaste myself and come from the catering industry, so I know that this is possible. After we paid twice as much as we had initially, she looked at us stupidly because we didn't give her a tip. It's a shame that the service is so unfriendly, as the food was very tasty, but we definitely won't be coming back.

The ambience is good and the service is quick and friendly. We didn't have to wait long and the food came very quickly. Everything tasted ok. The paper for the summer rolls was very firm to the bite. The main course was seasoned ok. The dessert was good - sticky mango - unfortunately not entirely authentic but ok. Panna Cotta a little too soft. All in all good

Great location on the Rhine. When the weather is good you can sit outside and look at the Rhine. The seats in the restaurant are also comfortable and beautiful. The food was delicious and we were served quickly. The service was a little quieter, but nice. Toilet is clean but very open. No card payment was possible during our visit.

Food was super delicious. Service friendly and quick. Inside you sit individually, whether as a couple or depending on the size of the group. An outdoor terrace can also be used.

Went there for dinner with a friend and had previously ordered meat barbecue. On the one hand, the portion was far too small for 2 people and that for 23 euros. The taste was good. On the other hand, the table with the integrated grill wasn't really clean. There was a black mat in the table grill, which didn't look appetizing and also had one or two flaws. Service was subpar. A service person who only acted when called. The side dishes are actually included in the barbecue, but only if we explicitly pointed out they would have refilled them for us. It was too stupid for us, especially there was no meat left. A plate with various types of meat for two people at that price is simply not enough/expensive. With drinks, barbecue and two additional starters on top for 63 euros is too expensive in my opinion. I will advise against it for now and not dare to visit again.

Updated again: Phew, the prices are pretty decent. 400 ml of cola for 5.50. I ordered vegetarian summer rolls without tofu: 8 euros. It was basically just salad with sauce. Unfortunately, I, an idiot, was pretty hungry and knew that the main course wasn't a huge portion either. At some point a rather greasy smell wafted through the entire restaurant. The waiters only came when spoken to. Food was OK, but I have to be honest, I think the price performance at Papa Umi is much better. Won't go here again. Update: The food was again very, very tasty and visually beautifully presented. Nice employees, but unfortunately they don't show up after receiving the food. It was like that last time. For further drinks etc you have to draw attention to yourself. Most chairs have no backrest. Ambience superficially very nice. Been there once. Quite a strong smell of fish when entering. The ambience/decor is quite nice, but less attention is paid to the details (cobwebs and such, toilet). Friendly service. Food was ready very quickly - value for money was very good, it tasted great. I don't know whether a man can get full from just one main course. For me it could have been a little more rice instead of meat. The food is very reminiscent of Papa Umi. Overall recommended 👍 In summer the terrace and location are probably even better :)

Was there for the second time now. 5 people. Had reserved in advance. First of all, the notice at the entrance that card payment is currently not possible. Then you came inside. Awesome heat. Possibly the air conditioning failed. The large folding door system could not be opened to let in some fresh air. When we arrived at the table, it had probably not been cleaned properly after lunch. The entire table was stuck from top to bottom. The seat cushions have also seen better days. Since we were the first to arrive at 5 p.m., ordering was quick and we received our food and drinks a short time later. The prices are a bit too high for my opinion, the portions are very tasty and fresh, but manageable. The ambience could be more attractive. Unfortunately, there is no great emphasis on hygiene and order here. A pity.

Very good authentic Vietnamese restaurant! 👍 Very good homemade lemonades that are not available on every corner. However, at a pretty steep price. The food is very good, beautifully prepared and absolutely authentic! The service is friendly and quick. However, the typical furnishings (seats/wooden benches) are not suitable for a long stay. Overall, highly recommended. Tip: be sure to reserve.

Food was very good and plentiful. Vegetarian food at 15 euros and with meat 2 to 3 euros more are completely okay, but 4 or 5.50 euros for 200/400 ml of cola/juice etc is quite a lot. The fact that card payment is supposedly not possible due to technical problems seems a bit unbelievable because the note on the door is a bit old. And the fact that you are only presented with a cell phone with the invoice items (not a proper printout) and the waitress dismisses your request for an invoice by email is a bit strange (even if I of course do not want to in any way imply money laundering or tax evasion).

The food was quite good. However, the drink prices are significantly too high. And what's not possible: there are mice in the restaurant. And this is already known, according to the reviews.

Dieses Restaurant werden wir zukünftig meiden! Ich verstehe die tollen Bewertungen wirklich nicht. Der Service hat zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Wir mussten wiederholt einen Hinweis geben, um überhaupt bestellen zu dürfen. Die Wartezeit danach war super lange! Das Essen wurde dann nur lauwarm serviert und geschmeckt hat es wirklich nicht! Mich hat es stark an Fertigessen aus dem Kühlregal erinnert. Teilweise konnten wir auch bestimmte Zutaten (die auf der Karte zum Gericht aufgeführt wurden) gar nicht im Essen finden. Richtig sauer wurde ich dann aber beim Bezahlen. Wir haben die Frage, ob es geschmeckt habe, freundlich verneint. Kartenzahlung war nicht möglich. Gekostet hat es 61,20€, sodass ich mit einem 100€ Schein bezahlt habe und mich entsprechend der Erfahrung bewusst gegen Trinkgeld entschied. Der junge Mann (Kellner) hat dann noch gefragt, ob ich 20ct. klein hätte. Am Ende hat er dann frecherweise entschieden 4€ Trinkgeld einzubehalten. Er legte 35€ auf den Tisch und verschwand prompt. Auf erneute Ansprache leugnete er die Situation und lief erneut weg. Für uns alles in allem wirklich nicht in Ordnung. Die Atmosphäre war laut und hektisch. Ich kann einen Besuch hier wirklich nicht empfehlen.

Schönes Ambiente, sehr leckere Gerichte und Getränke und freundliche Bedienung. Die Sitzbänke ohne Rückenlehne sind zwar nicht ganz so bequem aber insgesamt sitzt man sehr schön dort und im Sommer ist es bestimmt auch draußen schön.

Essen gut, leider sind Tisch und Stühle sehr klein, die Lage am Wasser ist sehr schön.

Chef selber ist der unfreundlichste Mitarbeiter im Raum. Man sitzt auf kleinen Hockern an einem Tisch, der kaum für zwei Teller reicht im Eingangsbereich. Ente leider zäh, verknorpelt und ungenießbar.

Naja, das war's bei uns. Drastische Preiserhöhungen bei gleichzeitiger Reduzierung der Menge im Teller werden rechtfertigt mit Erhöhung der Mwst. Bei einem Preis von 4,90€ für ein 0,3er Bier, 5,90€ für ein großes , einen Tee für4,50€ hört es für uns auf. Da ist kein Gegenwert mehr da. Hier fühlten wir uns über den Tisch gezogen. Übrigens die Mwst-Erhöhung gibt es erst ab 01./24 und die Getränke sind sowieso davon ausgenommen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, hier isst das Auge auf jeden Fall auch mit. Sehr frisches Gemüse und der Lachs war auch sehr gut. Preise sind auch angemessen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Sehr lecker, Personal immer äußerst zuvorkommen und respektvoll. Die Preise sind mehr als angemessen und das Essen, auch bei vollem Restaurant, immer unter der persönlichen, erwarteten Wartezeit am Tisch. Sehr starke Empfehlung meinerseits

Toller asiatischer Laden. Atmosphäre schön, Essen super gut - besonders 17c Mango Kokos Curry. Der Service lässt jedoch leider zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal ist nicht unbedingt freundlich und teils etwas unkoordiniert. Aufgrund des guten Essens dennoch einen Besuch wert!

Einfach nur lecker, Auf Empfehlung von meiner Tochter haben wir heute gemeinsam hier zu Abend gegessen. Das Local liegt direkt am Rhein und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Sitzgelegenheit auch draußen. Knusprige Entenbrust mit Mango Kokos Sauce kann ich nur jeden empfehlen 👌

Bei An Nam wurden wir freundlich empfangen und konnten uns einen der Tische aussuchen. Nachdem wir ausgesucht hatten, was wir bestellen wollen, mussten wir aktiv die Mitarbeiter ansprechen, um eine Bestellung aufgeben zu können. Dies war auch der Fall fürs bezahlen, da niemand zwischendurch zu uns kam. Qualitativ war das Essen hervorragend. Alle drei verschiedenen von uns bestellen Gerichte mit Nudeln oder Reis waren sehr lecker und haben auch satt gemacht. Die Tische und Bänke empfanden wir als eher ungemütlich. Dennoch ist das Restaurant bestens zu empfehlen.

Schönes Restaurant, das uns mit seinem leckeren Essen positiv überrascht hat.

Wir waren zu dritt in diesem Lokal. Bedienung war freundlich und bemüht. Eins der drei Gerichte war leider in Sojasoße ertränkt worden. Die anderen Gerichte waren gut vor allem war alles sehr frisch. Das Ambiente ist leider so wie alle Asialokale im Modernstyle; kleine Tische, Bänkchen zum sitzen, dunles Holz, gedämmtes Licht. Zum Glück dezente und leise Musik im Hintergrund, aber kein eigener Style. Die Preise waren für dieses Essen zu hoch.

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Der Service war schnell und freundlich! Am besten war der Mango Sticky Rice 😍 Das Location ist recht laut, aber nett gestaltet.

Freunde von uns haben das Restaurant in höchsten Tönen gelobt. Daher sind wir spontan um die Mittagszeit hin. Highlight war die Vorspeisenplatte und das An Man Sunrise Getränk. Bei der Vorspeisenplatte waren die Salatblätter durchweg braun. unsere beiden Hauptspeisen war leider nur lauwarm bis kalt. Die Ente mit der Erdnusssauce war geschmacklich top, auch die Glasnudel mit dem Rindfleisch mit der Sesam Sauce war top, aber leider kalt. Zudem waren auch die Salatblätter auf beiden Tellern alle bräunlich. Wir werden es in nächster Zeit noch mal besuchen und die „Zweitprobe“ nehmen 😇. Für unseren Erstbesuch war es leider nicht zu 100% empfehlenswert.
