One of the best restaurants I know! The quality of the food is very good! The owner and staff are very friendly, greeting and saying goodbye with a handshake.

We visited the restaurant for the first time on Sunday, August 31, 2025. The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly and attentive. It certainly won't be the last time we're there. I highly recommend it.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine with heart – a clear recommendation! To mark Rhineland-Palatinate Day, we spontaneously visited the Vietnamese restaurant Viet in Neustadt an der Weinstraße for dinner yesterday – and were thoroughly impressed. You can expect honest, delicious Vietnamese cuisine with authentic flavors and freshly prepared dishes. We would especially like to highlight the extremely personable owner and host, who warmly attends to his guests, as well as the friendly young waitress, who made a great impression with genuine effort and attention. The rooms are harmonious and decorated in the expected Asian style – cozy and inviting. At the end of the meal, we even received a non-alcoholic Vietnamese drink on the house – a very nice gesture. Overall, a wonderful evening with great food and a warm atmosphere. We definitely recommend it – we'd love to come back!

Aus meiner Sicht hat das Essen nachgelassen. Es war fad, das Gemüse sehr grob geschnitten. Trotz Wärmeplatte bleib es nicht warm. Zu bemerken ist, dass Kartenzahlung nicht erwünscht ist. Ich hatte mit mehreren Karten, die alle einen verfügbaren Rahmen aufwiesen, kein Glück mit der Bezahlung, Abbuchung abgebrochen. Wiederholungsversuche wurden abgeblockt. Fakt ist, das war das letzte Mal dort.

We had dinner there with the family. The reception was very nice and friendly. Even though the place was completely full, once we got the menu we were able to order drinks and then food very quickly. The service, which had its hands full, was very friendly, attentive and prompt and brought the starter after a short time. There wasn't much of a wait for the main course that followed. The food was good and corresponded to the price. All in all a very nice evening.

Naja, nach den vielen guten Bewertungen mussten wir auch mal darein und ich musste feststellen es war gut besucht und auch unser letzter Besuch. Das Essen war eher Fast-Food Qualität, der Service war schlecht und extrem überfordert. Mein Geschmack war es definitiv nicht ,ziemlich fade gewürzt

Absolut Spitze! Sehr authentisch, nicht so eingedeutscht. Frisch und selbst zubereitet. Eine absolute Empfehlung auch für Vegetarier.

The food was great, the atmosphere was a bit old.

Enough space to be welcomed spontaneously even without a reservation. We always feel warmly served there. Very good value for money. It's delicious anyway. An extra point for the great service from the girls who served us - you rarely find something like that. We always enjoy coming here! Update: Great with a baby too. There's no room for changing diapers, but we didn't need it either. The light is so pleasant in the guest room and it is so cozy, our baby slept almost the whole time.

The inside is nothing special but there is a calming water sound that was very interesting. The food was very quick to arrive to the table and the waiter was a very friendly young girl. Prices are very affordable, good value for money. Would come back and recomend to friends.

This wasn't good (Vietnamese) food for the price. The baked spring rolls tasted like an XXL ready-made pack from Metro. The sauce tasted like it had been diluted with water and a lot of salt. Too many bamboo shoots and unsuitable lettuce. No croiander or crunchy vegetables as expected. A small piece of carrot and 3 slices of old cucumber. The staff was friendly and the passion fruit spritzer was good.

Very cozy restaurant, cool decor and extremely friendly host! Rarely have we been served so kindly. Only the main course was too buttery for our taste and there could have been a lot more vegetables. So if you're going to eat here, please say so in advance (three small pieces of carrot on a whole dish, otherwise tofu and potatoes are very little - unfortunately that wasn't clear from the description). It could have been a little spicier - or on the table, for example, soy sauce/chilli/salt for seasoning would be nice. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the vegetarian soup and summer rolls! Wir kommen jetzt schon seit Jahrzehnten her. Gleichbleibend super leckeres Essen, sehr freundlicher und persönlicher Service in nettem Ambiente. Wir werden auf jeden Fall treu bleiben und unbedingt weiter empfehlen. Volle Punktzahl für uns absolut gerechtfertigt!

Einfach nur toll. Wunderbares Essen, sehr schmackhaft, aber gigantisch lecker. Ein schönes Ambiente und sehr nette Menschen.

Sehr leckere authentisch vietnamesische Speisen. Sehr schmackhaft finde ich die Gerichte mit frischer Ananas (etwas pikant eie ich es mag), die Ananas ist immer auf den Punkt richtig reif und süß. Ich mag auch gerne den Knoblauchreis. Aber auch die Vorspeisen mit verschiedenen Suppen und unterschiedlichen Frühlings- oder Herbstrollen sind schmackhaft. In der Wiche kann man günstig Mittagsmenue essen. Insbesondere am Wochenende würde ich eine Reservierung empfehlen. Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Neustadt a.d. Weinstraße ist immer ein Besuch wert.

One of the best Asian restaurants in the Region. My Vietnamese wife is always delighted by the authentic tastes from fresh ingredients. We took our little child there for lunch, which we would never do in other Asian restaurants. And the service is utterly polite and friendly. The Price is surprisingly low for the HIGH quality.

My boyfriend and I went here for our date night the other night. I can speak German but he can’t and the staff were very accommodating, offering English menus and giving us time. The food was good - to start we had prawn dumplings (tasty but small portion) and crispy crawfish spring rolls (not much fish). Then he had mixed seafood on a hot plate and I had mixed meat noodles. Both were good, and good value for money. The local wine was also good. It is a nice place to sit outside in the evening

Wir waren zum 1.mal im Restaurant. Es umgab uns eine freundliche Atmospäre und der Service ist aufmerksam & nett. Die Speisen wurden alle sehr gut zubereitet, d.h. also nicht das normale "Chinalokal mit Pampe"., Von der Vorspeise bis zum Hauptgericht hat alles delikat gemundet!! Auch das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis geht voll in Ordnung. Wir werden wiederkommen.Eine Reservierung am Wochenende ist ratsam.
