Tried Ali's Döner for the second time, both times with steak (veal). The staff and owner are all very friendly and polite. Even after the meal, they asked if everything was okay (yes :), it was). The wait time is manageable, whether eating in or taking out.
The price for a steak döner is really great at €6. The bread was fresh and homemade both times, the meat was tender and juicy, and the sauces are Berlin-style (garlic, herb, spicy) and taste wonderful.
The salad selection is also great and looked fresh in both cases. On top, there's fresh lemon (which didn't look so great) and feta cheese. The tomatoes and cucumbers are served in slices, which I personally prefer.
This döner doesn't necessarily need any sauces, as the meat is simply juicy. The bread is a good size and has plenty of filling.
The doner definitely tastes good; you can't go wrong here, even though I've personally had better steak doner kebabs. The price/performance ratio is definitely right here.
The takeaway doner kebab isn't quite as good, but that's simply due to the packaging.
The second takeaway we had also had fries that were muddy and felt raw; there's definitely room for improvement here.
We also had an Adana plate that day, which was also okay, but not a highlight.
The atmosphere is fine for a quick doner kebab, but it doesn't invite you to linger longer.

As of 2024:
Unfortunately, since the change of ownership, it's only been okay.
So far I've only tried different pizzas (family pizzas with different toppings) and a whole mozzarella pizza
1. Family Pizzas:
The dough for the family pizzas was average and the toppings were also quite okay (tuna, sucuk, frutti di mare and "margherita").
Salami topping was very tasty
Mushrooms were terrible because they were like stone or burnt and hard or rubbery.

The second time I had a pizza mozzarella (mozzarella, garlic and tomatoes)
Dough didn't rise at all (see picture) and was unfortunately very tough.
Unfortunately you couldn't taste or miss any garlic.
Tomatoes were tasty but "only" beefsteak tomatoes (in addition to the normal sauce).
Unfortunately there was very little mozzarella on it. Cheese was mixed with regular Gouda and apparently had a 90/10 ratio.
Jumpsuit:
Unfortunately, any competition in the Kreuztal area makes things better and there is still hope that the new owners can keep up with the old ones.
We went bowling with a group and ordered appetizer plates (12.50 according to the menu). The owner wanted €50 in the end! His reason was that several people had eaten from the plate. Absolute rip-off. We ended up paying €250 for the appetizer plates.
We ordered a sucuk and a mista pizza to take away. Since the pizzas were not yet ready for pickup, we observed that tuna was also put on the second pizza. We thought nothing of it until we realized it was meant to be ours. When we asked the staff about it, he dropped everything and came back three minutes later with a sucuk from the neighboring shop. Apparently there was (almost) everyone with sucuk, which is why they just wanted to foist tuna on us twice? So the first pizza had long been ready when the newly made pizza finally came out of the oven. No excuse for that. And nobody washes their hands here in between. Not after shopping, not after shaking hands with another guest, not after checking out. This is unhygienic...
Pizza is fine.
The worst kebab in my entire life, this meat tastes like vomit, the service is also a disaster, they don't even give aluminum foil when the €1 offer was there
