A great enrichment for the culture in Gevelsberg, delicious food, I would reconsider the prices for baklava. Otherwise it's worth a visit.

We are here very often. We drive here from Wuppertal because we like it a lot. Sometimes we eat lahmacun and pide (highly recommended) and sometimes we just drink tea. We are also often there for breakfast, which is also highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is excellent. You feel very comfortable. I recommend that you form your own opinion. I cannot understand the bad reviews. One person only gave one star even though he had never been there.

The cakes we tried were outstanding. Unfortunately, katayif and baklava weren't a highlight, but they were more expensive than with other providers. The café is beautifully decorated and you can feel very comfortable there. The only thing that stood out very negatively here was the remarkably unfriendly manner of some of the employees. While shopping at lunchtime, the café was empty, the affected employee was sitting outside and smoking, we came to order something to take away. When we greeted her, she glared at us and returned the greeting annoyed because we obviously came at a bad time. When we arrived behind the row of shops, there was still no friendly face to be seen, so we quickly ordered and left. When we placed two more orders on other days, we were served by the same employee, but unfortunately her mood was just as bad as before. On our last visit we were served by a young man who unfortunately didn't understand our order. We then communicated with our hands, it finally worked, but he made no more effort to be friendly than the aforementioned employee. Everyone has a bad day sometimes, some seem to do it more often, but you shouldn't take it out on your customers. We have never experienced anything like this at any other store here; the salespeople in Gevelsberg are usually noticeably friendly. If the friendliness here is matched to the quality of the food, the café can also join the ranks of the other high-quality restaurants/cafés that have fortunately opened in Gevelsberg recently and will further enhance the city. Due to the quality, we will probably continue to order something here from time to time in the future, so please take this criticism to heart. Best regards Edit: We were here again today because my wife wanted to try the breakfast buffet. We greet the MA who is sitting at the front and is Facetimed - there is no noticeable reaction, so we were unsure whether he was a customer himself. Shortly afterwards, without greeting, he gets up from his seat and brings us the cards to the table. There was no mention of the buffet or even a word from the waiter. Later we saw two more MAs, of whom the maximum we could hear was a nod with a neutral facial expression in greeting. It felt like our colleagues were playing a game of "whoever is friendly first loses" and every single one of them was excellent at it. The food itself was okay, only the cream filling of the coconut cake was already rotten and therefore inedible. To pay after eating I only had to call 4 times for someone to come out of the kitchen because the front area was empty most of the time during our stay. We didn't expect anything from previous visits and were still disappointed, this was our last visit here.

Not recommended at all!! We were there for the first time and are very disappointed, there was a dead mosquito on the baklava my husband ordered, the strawberries in my daughter's cake were clearly moldy and my tiramisu tasted like dry cake as if it had been sitting there for 3 days left everything and left. On a Bayram day, a café should be better prepared and work much more carefully. It's a shame, a shame

I actually enjoyed being a regular at your cafe, but after my last experience I'm extremely disappointed. I had ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday and had to come by several times because the baker was never there and I was always put off. When we were finally able to place the order, I pointed out several times how important the precise implementation of the chocolate-strawberry filling was to me. The baker assured me that this would not be a problem. However, the result was a total disaster - instead of the filling I wanted, I found a banana-chocolate filling with a few stray strawberries that you could count on one hand. We weren't even told about it in advance, which resulted in a very unpleasant surprise when cutting. What if my child had a banana allergy? Additionally, the cashier was extremely rude and snubbed us saying they didn't have the right brush. Despite providing a picture, the cake didn't look nearly as desired. If the cafe knew or realized after the fact that they couldn't fulfill the order correctly, they should have let us know instead of presenting us with something that didn't meet our expectations - after all, I paid the full amount. I would even give zero stars if it were possible. I left my contact details and gave enough time but we never heard back. You ruined my 12 year old daughter's birthday. I will never enter your café again.

A very nice location... Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner or in between, there's always plenty to choose from. The selection of cakes is very large, as are sweet pastries. Service is very nice and accommodating. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

I bought candy, never again, the cookies were so hard to bite And the cooking was leavened.

We've had breakfast about six times already, which we really enjoyed and are also happy to be able to try something different. Unfortunately we are still disappointed with the service. It is sometimes very difficult to communicate with the employees on site because they unfortunately do not have the basic terms that you should know. After you order your drinks and food, you have to wait some time for everything to arrive. Since preparing a meal naturally takes a certain amount of time, it would be desirable if you could get the drinks in advance. After you get your food, it is sometimes difficult to order something more because the service staff are not very attentive. It also doesn't add to the ambience when all the employees sit down together, chat and show each other videos on their cell phones. As I said, the food (we only know the breakfast) is very good, but the quality of service still has room for improvement.

Today we visited LaVIE Caffe, we left very satisfied, a charming lady served us, she was very nice and attentive, the boss also always behaved excellently, we will definitely come back.

Delicious. I'll definitely come back for breakfast. I thought it was a shame that they didn't ask if we would like to have something to drink when the glasses were empty. The first time I was there, the waitress couldn't take orders in German either.

Kunefe tastes terrible. Sour and seemed to be swimming in sugar. We waited 20 minutes in order not to eat even half the portion. A pretty picture doesn't always mean delicious food.

Im allgemeinen sehr nett dort. Nur wenn man gerade die Türkei liebt und gerade von dort kommt,merkt man das Service und die Vielfalt nicht so ist wie in der Heimat. Zudem sehr teuer. Gerade der cay, der nun wirklich nur von Kennern gerne auch viel getrunken wird, wäre etwas günstiger auch gewinnbringender. Ich würde zum Beispiel nicht nur einen dort trinken wenn er günstiger wäre

Sehr schönes Café mit einem reichhaltigem und leckerem Frühstück. Eine große Auswahl an vielen anderen Speisen. Auch zum mitnehmen. Die Bedienung hätte gerne zwischendurch kommen können, sodass wir weitere Getränke bestellt hätten. Alles in allem aber super.

1.Ambient sehr schön genau so wie in der Türkei.🥰 2.Essen auch gut.✌️😃 3.Mitarbeiter freundlich. 😄👍 Was ich sehr schade finde ist das Frühstück. Portion sind sehr klein denke immer als wäre ich im Krankenhaus & etwas teuer.🤔 Wo anders kriegen wir mehr für den Preis plus Teekanne dazu.🙋🏻‍♀️ Naja !!! Schade aber sonst eigentlich zum Tee od. Kaffee trinken ist es in Ordnung.

Super schönes Café! War dort heute mit einer Freundin zum ersten Mal. Das Frühstück dort ist sehr lecker und man bekommt eine große Auswahl serviert. Der Kaffee war super! Preis Leistung spitze und die Atmosphäre ist modern aber trotzdem gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :)

Mit meinen zwei Kinder da gewesen Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kids bekamen sogar jeder 2 Kekse kostenlos Wir tranken uns aßen sehr gemütlich da und es war toll und lecker

Beim ersten Mal haben wir über 20 Minuten auf eine Bestellungaufnahme gewartet, das Essen war in Ordnung ein wenig fettig. Es kam kein einziges Mal einer um zu fragen ob noch was wäre bzw. ob alles in Ordnung ist. Beim zweiten Mal haben wir über 15 Minuten gewartet, man ist an uns vorbeigegangen. Sieht so aus als wären die Kunden unsichtbar, so behält man keine Kundschaft.

Sehr leckeres Frühstück und vor allem kann ich den Cappuccino empfehlen - der ist wirklich super lecker. Die Preise sind okay das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Den einen Stern hat die lose Toilettenbrille in der sauberen Toilette gekostet.

Eine nagelneue und sehr moderne Cafeteria im Herzen von Gevelsberg. Hier kann man nicht nur Kaffee und Kuchen genießen sondern auch leckeren Frühstück, Baklava, Fladenbrot inkl. angenehmer Atmosphäre. Nettes Personal, modernes Ambiente, türkische Leckereien und leckeren türkischen Tee sollte man hier genießen. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen für Leute, die auf der Suche nach einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre sind.
