To be honest the food was good and even the pasta was so yummy 😋

Very great, cozy restaurant, was there for the first time. Came at 5 p.m. without having made a reservation and was given a table, which made me very happy. I had the feeling that the restaurant was fully booked even that week. (very difficult without a reservation, it's better to call in advance) which in turn speaks highly FOR the restaurant. You are warmly welcomed, the staff was very friendly. I ordered a rump steak, which was grilled to my desired degree of doneness. A culinary delight. However, I have to deduct 1 star because the steakhouse fries could have been baked a little longer and the curry sauce was quite spicy... It was missing some sweetness. Otherwise I can warmly recommend the Cayenne. I will come back. Keep it up!

Unfortunately the steak wasn't seared well and was only lukewarm at the table. The herb butter didn't even want to melt. What a shame... for just €40 Tomato soup and fries very good.

Very good meat, fried to perfection, all in all it tasted very good! Of course the price is a bit higher, but good meat should also have its price!

A super nice restaurant. We were there with our 1-year-old daughter and were well looked after. The little one got her food in advance, even though we didn't specifically say so. Absolutely attentive staff and super delicious food.

The burger was huge but I don't have to have it again. But the fillet was super cool. And the fries were also very tasty

My kids and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Steak & Kartoffelhaus tonight. All our meals were delicious, the service was friendly, and we loved the atmosphere. Prices were really good too. Unfortunately we live far away, otherwise we’d come back frequently.

Our registered (!) hiking group was greeted today with the words: “Please hurry up with your order, I want to take a break!” We didn't have a card in our hands and not everyone was even sitting at the table. When we asked, we were told that it was no longer lunchtime. (Sunday supposedly hot food all the time!) We were also only supposed to receive a shortened menu because there were 14 of us. Luckily that didn't happen and we had complete choice (for me as a guest it's actually a matter of course). Extra requests, such as a senior portion or a glass of warm water, were noted with eye rolls. However, the food came quickly, was tasty and plentiful. When we asked to pack it up, the waitress (for a fee) placed a Styrofoam bowl on our table and tipped the food from above into the bowl. A lot of work still needs to be done if the poor service is not to drive away guests despite the good food! Kerstin N.

Beautiful steak house, very empathetic staff. The food is rich and very tasty! Price performance is right.
