Lindengarten in Schwerin

Das Essen schmeckt wirklich gut. Das Ambiente ist allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Eher etwas hochpreisig, aber die Portionen sind auch echt üppig.

Sehr große, schmackhafte Portionen zu adäquaten Preise Empfehlenswert. Alle 3 bestellte Platten wurden von uns nicht ganz geschafft

Wir waren heute mit vier Generationen zum Mittagessen hier im Lindengarten und waren sehr zufrieden. Es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Leider ein enttäuschender Besuch zu viert heute. Während die gemischte Platte reichlich und gut war, enttäuschten die Burger (trockenes und verlorenes Patty, durchgeweichtes Brötchen) und die Forelle (zu trocken). Der Service war zudem sehr distanziert und unaufmerksam. Früher haben wir über den Service hinweggesehen, als wir noch öfter hier her gekommen sind. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider nicht mehr, daher keine Empfehlung.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Ambiente hat uns auch gefallen und der Service war prima. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Personen und waren in einem kleinen Extra -Raum untergebracht.Wir kommen gern wieder.👍

Wir waren als Familie dort und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Essen hat allen gut geschmeckt, die Portionen waren großzügig und die Auswahl auch für Kinder sehr passend. Der Service war freundlich und geduldig, und die Atmosphäre angenehm und entspannt. Ein schönes Restaurant für einen Familienbesuch – wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ganz ehrlich. Das Essen ist leider nur mäßig gut. Meiner Meinung nach nicht besser als beim Imbiss. Dafür viel zu hohe Preise. Ich meine ein Glas Cola 6,40 €. Schnitzel mit Champions und Kroketten auch über 20 € und qualitativ nichts Besonderes. Ich habe an Frittenbuden schon besser gegessen. Schade.

Wir waren zum zweiten mal am 1. Weihnachtstag abends zum Essen da. Die Auswahl an dem Feiertag ist nicht so groß aber völlig ausreichend. Man findet auf jeden Fall was. Das Essen war lecker. Bedient wurde zügig. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.

Also wir waren anlässlich eines Geburtstags Essen. Alle hatten nix auszusetzen!

Sehr gutes geschmackvolles Essen

Am liebsten würde ich überhaupt keinen Stern geben. Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie am 1. Weihnachtstag hier Essen gewesen, haben uns total gefreut auf das Essen. Der größte Teil hat Ente bestellt, aber was wir vorgestellt bekamen war das schlechteste Essen was wir je hatten, die Ente war total trocken gewesen die Klöße waren total klein. Der Rotkohl hat nach nix geschmeckt, es war nix gewürzt gewesen. Ich weiß ja nicht wo die den Koch her haben aber kochen kann der nicht. Dann wollten wir noch was zu trinken bestellen da rollt die Kellnerin mit den Augen und war total genervt gewesen. Wir hatten bis 13 Uhr den Tisch bestellt gehabt. Halb eins standen schon die nächsten hinter uns und wollten den Tisch haben, da sagte die Kellnerin nur tut mir leid aber die sind noch nicht fertig und zeigt auf uns. Also der erste Weihnachtstag war für uns gelaufen. Also nächstes Jahr Weihnachten gehen wir lieber wo anders Essen. Da wo man geschätzt wird und der Gast König ist. Und zum Schluss noch das Eis der Zimt Stern der war von Aldi gewesen das hat man gesehen. Nie wieder Weihnachten Lindengarten.

Wir waren am 24.12.25 dort als Familie (10Pax) essen gewesen, das aus Krankheitsbedingung es zur Verlängerung kommen könnte, wurde im Eingang mitgeteilt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und platziert.Dann hörte der Service auch schon auf! Kerzen wurden nicht angemacht und Getränke Karte wurde nicht gereicht.Man muste erfragen was sie für Getränke im Sortiment haben. Wir hatten ein Kleinkind dabei und mussten selber uns um ein Kinderstuhl bemühen! Mal Stifte und Blätter fehlten zur langen Beschäftigung auch! Eine kurz verfasste Karte A5 über Weihnachtsessen, wie Steak, Ente, Hirsch und Fisch hatte nicht viel aus wahl. Schade eigentlich, aber auch verständlich!!! Sehr lange 45min Wartezeit aufs Essen war schon hart an der Grenze! Junger Rosenkohl, Hirschroulade oder Rahmchampignons stellen wir uns anders vor! Um 13.40uhr haben wir allmählich mitbekommen das wir die Gaststätte doch räumen sollten!! (11.30-14uhr geöffnet) Tische und Stühle wurden in unfreundlicherweise verschoben/nicht getragen. Würden gerne nochmal euer Ambiente besuchen, kommen nämlich nicht aus Schwerin!!

Eine angenehme Überraschung! Das Ambiente ist warm und gemütlich, ideal für ein ruhiges Abendessen. Die Gerichte sind lecker, besonders die Gemüsevorspeise, die Hauptgerichte hingegen eher durchschnittlich – nichts, was mich wirklich begeistert hätte. Das Personal ist freundlich und effizient.

Mein absolutes Lieblings-Lokal in Schwerin. Da stimmt von vorne bis Hinten einfach mal alles !

Hallo. Wir waren zu meinem Geburtstag am 23.08.25 unangemeldet hier zum Mittagessen, haben bei voller Hütte einen sehr freundlichen Chef & freundliches Personal vorgefunden. Er organisierte fix noch 4 Plätze & es gab ein tolles Mittagsmahl. Rundum alles total cool...Kommen gerne wieder...

Das Essen ist sehr gut und im Preis gerechtfertigt. Die Getränkepreise sind aber echt überzogen teuer.

Advance reservations are recommended! We didn't have one, but the owner was very kind and still assigned us a table, even though there were four of us (two adults and two children). It's very child-friendly, with a small menu for them, and the lunch menu offers delicious dishes. The food was delicious and plentiful.

The meat was tough, and everyone at the table was dissatisfied. Portions were far too large. It's better to offer quality rather than disgusting food in bulk.

The food was delicious, and the portions (I had the burger) were huge for the price. The staff were very friendly, and the food arrived moderately quickly. The ambiance wasn't great, but it was easy to have a conversation because it was relatively quiet.

We got a table for three without a reservation. We had the XL burger, which was delicious.

We went to a restaurant on Saturday with a group of 19 people. The food was mediocre to poor. There were only six dishes to choose from. The highlight was the seasoned meat. It had no flavor and had probably been defrosted in the microwave. I can't recommend this restaurant.

We, a married couple, had lunch here today. We didn't have two reservations, but we were able to stay. And if you want a large farmer's breakfast for €16.90, then this is the place for you. We couldn't finish our portion. We had half of mine and my husband's half packed up to take home. This was our first time doing this.

My family and I had an excellent meal. The service was very polite. The ambiance was pleasant. The food was delicious and plentiful. Best regards to the chef. We had a little of everything: meat, fish, salad, and dessert. We were all delighted and will be back soon.

On Saturday around 3 p.m., the two of us ate here. Although we received a friendly welcome, we were the only guests, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible to eat in the beer garden. We drove halfway across town for this reason alone; we wanted to eat well, in the fresh air, in the shady, peaceful Linden garden, in summer temperatures. It was a huge disappointment! They could have quickly wiped down a table and two chairs and fulfilled their guests' wishes. Then we definitely would have stayed longer and even ordered dessert.

We've now discovered the Lindengarten for ourselves! Even though we sometimes call at short notice and ask if we can come, we've never been turned down. That's quite rare these days. You can give us a star for that. I can only say top-notch about the food and service. We've always been superbly looked after, and the food is fantastic. Thank you so much, we're already looking forward to our next visit. We usually come here on Sundays, wink 🤓🤓🤓👍🤗

Nice ambience with outdoor dining, very friendly staff and the food was delicious.

We had booked a table and asked for some decorations because it was supposed to be a wedding anniversary meal. Unfortunately, we were given a table without any decorations, and it smelled very unpleasantly of feces. Guests who arrived after us received their menus before us. The staff weren't very friendly when I pointed out the missing decorations, and they didn't even apologize. This was our last time there. Unfortunately, you have to give it one star, otherwise you can't post it. The star is definitely not deserved.

The food was very good and plentiful. We'd love to come back next time we're in the area. High praise for the food and service.

05/04/25 The three of us ate here today. The food was hot & plentiful, I had the burger. The manager served us, was friendly and helpful, and changes to the standard meal were possible without any problems. All in all four good stars!

The food was, as always, very rich and tasty. However, the service seemed very unmotivated and taciturn. She only managed a smile when we said goodbye. The calculation of drink prices should also be reconsidered. So €6.40 for a 0.5 liter cola is more like a lot. In comparison, a large beer costs just 10 cents more.

Ich habe ein Tisch für mich und meine Freundin reserviert. Ich habe am Telefon gesagt das ich mit meiner Freundin komme. Wir sind angekommen und wir haben Ein Tisch direkt am Eingang bekommen meine Freundin war gleich enttäuscht so habe ich mich entschlossen zu fragen ob wir ein andern Tisch bekommen könnten. Es wurde mir gar nicht richtig zu gehört es kam nach nochmal fragen nur ein Stumpfes Nein.. So ein unfreundliches Personal haben wir noch nie gehabt. Das Essen war echt lecker.. Nur man konnte es leider nicht genießen. Andauernd Tür auf und zu. Kinder die rein und raus laufen.. Kippengestank.. zu dem hatte meine Freundin eine Fleischplatte bestellt und extra das Personal drauf hingewiesen das sie schwanger ist und das Fleisch bitte totgebraten sein soll da sie es sonst nicht essen darf. Leider war das Fleisch blutig und eher medium. Im allgemeinen hatten wir das Gefühl dort nicht richtig verstanden zu werden.

We can only recommend it, the service and the food were always top, only the guest rooms could use a bit of heat as it was very cold.

Our registered (!) hiking group was greeted today with the words: “Please hurry up with your order, I want to take a break!” We didn't have a card in our hands and not everyone was even sitting at the table. When we asked, we were told that it was no longer lunchtime. (Sunday supposedly hot food all the time!) We were also only supposed to receive a shortened menu because there were 14 of us. Luckily that didn't happen and we had complete choice (for me as a guest it's actually a matter of course). Extra requests, such as a senior portion or a glass of warm water, were noted with eye rolls. However, the food came quickly, was tasty and plentiful. When we asked to pack it up, the waitress (for a fee) placed a Styrofoam bowl on our table and tipped the food from above into the bowl. A lot of work still needs to be done if the poor service is not to drive away guests despite the good food! Kerstin N.

We were there for a birthday. Everyone found something to eat from the extensive menu. The food was very generous so some people didn't manage to finish it. I think it's good that you have the option of having the rest of the food packed up. Gladly again

Great location for all kinds of celebrations

In the last 2 weeks we spontaneously went to the Lindengarten twice in the evening and were always surprised. The food was very good. We can recommend the steakhouse burger, the Lindengarten platter, the Jäger-style schnitzel and the steak. The young man in service (Mr. W.) was very courteous and insightful, and confidently served us from A to Z throughout the evening. This makes a nice dinner in Schwerin fun. Thank you very much and of course a greeting to the kitchen.

My husband and I decided at short notice to go out to eat After a polite greeting, we were immediately assigned a table and the food was served quickly, we were asked if everything was OK, we were completely satisfied and ate there again 2 days later, the same service and delicious food again

We've enjoyed going there for birthday parties for years. We like the food very much. It was very cold there on our last visit. We then just ate quickly and left quickly. That spoiled the experience a bit. Therefore a star deduction.

Despite the fact that we didn't make a reservation, which would probably have been better that evening, we were still assigned a table (4 people). We were kindly informed that the meal might take a little longer as there were many guests and the kitchen was doing its best. Still, it didn't feel like that long. The new service employee accompanied us throughout the evening with drinks, our food and always a friendly saying on his lips. Thank you for that. Best regards. Food and service are great. Over the years, the Lindengarten has become a well-attended restaurant. Easily accessible by car and train.

Had dinner there for my birthday, it wasn't tasty. Vegetables cooked without salt, the pork fillet was tough. It used to be better.

The food was again very tasty! How always actually. But what doesn't work at all is that really loud burping all the time comes from the kitchen. We have that too already heard from friends and acquaintances. This was now the 3rd time in a row and so we decided not to to come eat here more. The spoils your appetite!

Had dinner here today, the food was very good, plentiful and tasty. The service urgently needs to be worked on, we waited an hour for the food to arrive and the service staff didn't think it was necessary to come back to the table to ask for drinks again even though there were 2 empty glasses on the table.The service She preferred to play around on her cell phone behind the counter. She tried to get rid of the food at three different tables until she found the right table. That's why only 3 stars but the food was really good.

It's a shame to only state the prices daily on the notice board or in the restaurant and no longer on the website. That alone is a reason to avoid and boycott this restaurant.

It seems like the store is "letting yourself go." You have to make a reservation, the food is absolutely fine, but the employees often seem stressed. And visually, the restaurant has seen much better days. .... Prices are noble, toilet like at a city festival... The website doesn't seem to be up to date either, at least as far as the menu is concerned (offer and prices). All in all, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to good friends. It's a shame, because the food itself is really good!

Basically, the guest here will find good home-style German cuisine in a tidy, clean restaurant with the chic of the 2000s. The menu really isn't surprising. A farmer's breakfast, a schnitzel or a fish fillet (frozen) is surprise enough. Unfortunately, the steak has already died the second death under the seasoned meat. The chef should already be able to do this so that the meat is juicy and hot at the table. The service is friendly and attentive. However, there are also some negligence in the quality and implementation. In keeping with the food, the prices here are in the normal range. All in all, you can certainly eat here once, but you shouldn't expect a highlight in advance.

Nice beer garden and delicious food, Schwerin prices, it's worth the wait

Good, very tasty cuisine, friendly, courteous but not intrusive staff. The portions are barely manageable, a little less wouldn't be a bad thing. All dishes are freshly prepared. The prices are absolutely reasonable. So if we are in Schwerin again, we will definitely come back here. If a little more attention were paid to the very beautiful aquarium, there would also be a 5 star for the ambience.

Farmer's breakfast portion good. A little more ham would give it more flavor. Was a little bland. But otherwise OK.

I'm disappointed. I know the Lindengarten from previous years with better service and better food. Firstly, our drinks were forgotten. They were only served shortly after the food when we were informed that we had ordered drinks. A large Coca Cola 0.5 l for €6.40. I am aware that prices have increased due to the current circumstances, just half a liter of cola for €6.40 is not justified. The employees in service were also better and more understandable before.

The service was super nice and the ambience was fine. I had ordered a vegan burger and unfortunately received a normal one. I had hoped that we could easily solve the problem, but when the boss said that he would just take the meat off the burger and then put a vegan patty on it, the evening was over. The whole thing in a very unfriendly tone.

Begrüßung freundlich, kleine Fehler die bei der Vorbestellung vergessen wurden, sind behoben worden. Leider mussten wir sehr lange auf das Essen warten. (1,5h). Wobei ich sagen muss, es war sehr voll. Essen war dann sehr gut. Schade war dann, das sogar gedrängelt wurde, weil ja gleich Mittagspause war. Ich gehe trotzdem wieder hin.

Ich hab gerade ein Rumpsteak gegessen, Medium mit Pommes. Alter Verwalter 10/10. Ich habe schon mehrere Steakhouse in Schwerin besucht, aber das Steak im Lindengarten hat meine Erwartung komplett übertroffen. Die Pommes waren auch sehr gut gewürzt. Kellner auch super nett, jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Weiter so ✌🏽

Очень уютный ресторанчик. Приятный персонал, официантке говорящей на русском я зыке - отдельное спасибо. Подсказка и помогла с выбором блюд. Порции очень большие и всё очень вкусно. Хочу отметить - если это мясо с картошкой или рыба, то это огромный кусок мяса и немного картошки. В среднем на человека 20-30 евро. Так же можно заказать еду на вынос. Очень понравился!

Wir waren davon ausgegangen, das bis 22.00 Uhr geöffnet ist, um 20.50 Uhr wurden wir gebeten, zu zahlen, das das Restaurant um 21.00 Uhr schließt. Essen und Ambiente waren okay.

Wir waren am Samstag zum Geburtstag von meinem Vater zur Feier eingeladen. Wir waren 20 Gäste und haben uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Das Essen war reichlich und sehr lecker!! Aber die Kellner waren am Anfang noch sehr nett aber ab halb 8 nachdem alle aufgegessen haben ging es los mit der Unfreundlichkeit. Man fühlte sich nicht mehr willkommen! Man musste die Getränke selbst bei der Bar abholen und patzig wurden sie auch noch!! Wenn eine Gaststätte bis 22 Uhr aufhat dann erwarte ich auch das man nicht förmlich ab halb neun so ungefähr rausgeschmissen wird! Man hatte das Gefühl das man gehen sollte. Das ist sehr schade!!
