Tau Helga in Schwerin

„Seit vielen Jahren besuchen wir dieses Restaurant, schon als Kind waren wir mit den Freunden da und haben Nudeln mit Tomatensauce gegessen für ein schmalen Taler "von unseren Taschengeld"und es war stets ein Ort, an dem das Essen gut, reichlich und das Ambiente stimmig war. Doch leider haben sich in letzter Zeit die Preise ins Unermessliche erhöht, während die Portionen kleiner werden und die Qualität spürbar nachgelassen hat. Das ist wirklich schade.“

Leckeres Essen mit sehr netter Bedienung. In dem kleinen aber schönen Biergarten, kann man gut eine Pause machen.

Wir kamen Freitagabend in Müßig an und wollten etwas essen. Tau Helga war am nächsten vom Hotel, also sind wir dorthin. Wir wurden höflich informiert, dass sehr viel Betrieb ist, und dass es bis anderthalb Stunden dauern kann. Wir blieben trotzdem, und bekamen unser Essen, noch ehe 1 Stunde vorbei war. Das Warten hätte sich auch noch länger gelohnt. Wir hatten 4 verschiedene Gerichte , und alle waren perfekt. Was soll ich sagen, wir sind den nächsten Tag gleich nochmal zu Tau Helga gegangen. Diesmal mit Vorreservierung. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und schnell.

Das Essen (Steak O'feur) war geschmacklich in Ordnung aber für den Preis von fast 26 Euro und Portionsgrösse von einem Steak 5mm dick, so groß wie eine Handfläche eigentlich eine Frechheit. Wenn man die Wirtshäuser in Hessen gewohnt ist, ist das hier eine Touristenfalle. Bei uns im vorderen Odenwald sind zB. die Schnitzel größer als die Teller und reichen über den Tellerrand.

Regionale Küche. Ich habe meinen Rippenbraten genossen.

Am Essen haben wir nichts auszusetzen. Aber wenn man die ehemaligen Gastwirte (und Gründer der Gaststätte) kannte, vermisst man jetzt die Herzlichkeit und Wärme, die damals das Ambiente von "Tau Helga " ausmachten. Man fühlt sich nicht willkommen und das ist sehr schade.

Große und schmackhafte Portionen, helle Räume, leider sehr unbequeme Bauernstühle. Aber insgesamt fünf Sterne.

Wir sind hier früher sehr gern essen gegangen. Beim letzten Mal waren wir sehr enttäuscht, die Räumlichkeit war kalt und somit ungemütlich. Zum Essen gab es nur Klöße und Salzkartoffeln. Weder Pommes, Kroketten noch Rösties. Wir waren zum Abendessen dort und es waren zwei Köche vor Ort. anwesend. Es waren nur wenige Gäste vor Ort.

Schnell und super leckere Küche. Die Remoulade verdient eine Extraerwähnung.

An Unfreundlichkeit kaum zu überbieten. Kurz gefragt, ob man etwas Trinken und eine Suppe essen könne. Und man wird abserviert mit einem schroffen "Nein". Keine Begrüßung, keine gastfreundliche Verabschiedung. Und das zur Weihnachtszeit! Hier kehren wir nicht mehr ein.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag im Restaurant Tau Helga. Das Essen war solide, aber deutlich schlechter als früher. Die Soßen waren sehr dünn und geschmacklich eher fade. Mein Rippenbraten wurde zunächst vergessen, während alle anderen bereits gegessen haben. Erst danach wurde erwähnt, dass es auch eine kleine Portion gegeben hätte – diese Info wäre vorher wichtig gewesen. Für Kinder gab es leider keine wirkliche Auswahl: keine Pommes, keine Nuggets, nur Milchreis oder Nudeln mit Tomatensoße. Auch bei einer Weihnachtskarte sollte klar sein, dass Kinder kein Wildgulasch oder Ente essen. Der größte Minuspunkt war der Service. Die Kellnerin war sehr forsch. Beim Wunsch, die Rechnung zu splitten, hieß es schroff, man hätte das vorher sagen müssen – normalerweise wird man danach gefragt, ob getrennt oder zusammen gezahlt wird und wie. Zudem ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich, was heutzutage sehr unpraktisch ist. Die Art, wie sie danach abgedampft ist, war unangenehm. Fazit: Essen okay, aber nicht mehr auf dem früheren Niveau. Service leider enttäuschend. Schade.

Einfach nur Dreist, Zum Geburtstag war ich dort. Hatte ein falsches Essen bekommen. Habe freundlich darauf hingewiesen. Es wurde mit mir diskutiert, von allen Leuten, dass ich mich irren muss und sie nichts falsches liefert.

Wir waren vor wenigen Tagen dort, Eisbein (vorbestellt), Hamburger Schnitzel, Rippenbraten, alles sehr gut, nette Bedienung, sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Rundum zufrieden…:-)) Schade das diese kleinen rustikalen Lokale mit klassischer einheimischer Küche immer weniger werden. :-(

Super tolles Restaurant und ein echter Geheimtipp. Sehr leckere Hausmannskost, regionale Küche und Sessionale Gerichte. Wir haben gerade ein ein Geburtstag mit 16 Leuten dort gehabt, und waren wieder super zufrieden. Auch zum Kaffee gibt es leckere Kuchen. Personal ist auf Zack und kümmern toll um die Gäste. Das ganze auch immer mit einem Lächeln. Würde es 6 Sterne geben, würde ich auch die vergeben.

Gestern Abend waren wir zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant und müssen ehrlich sagen: Ich kann die schlechten Rezensionen absolut nicht nachvollziehen. 💔 Aufgrund einiger negativer Kommentare hatte ich zunächst gezögert, überhaupt hinzugehen. Zum Glück haben wir uns dennoch dafür entschieden, denn es war einfach göttlich! ❤️ Ich hatte als Vorspeise den gratinierten Ziegenkäse (auf dem Foto zu sehen), und er war ein Traum: Super cremig und würzig! Mit dem Chutney ein Gedicht. ❤️ Als Hauptspeise wählte ich den Rippenbraten, und der war nicht nur unglaublich zart und aromatisch, sondern auch eine richtig große Portion! ❤️ Der Rotkohl und die Sauce waren ebenfalls so köstlich!!! ❤️ Mein Mann hatte als Vorspeise das Würzfleisch und als Hauptgang das Schnitzel, und auch er war restlos begeistert. ❤️ Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich hervorragend! ❤️ Die Portionen, besonders bei den Hauptgerichten, sind riesig und geschmacklich top. ❤️ Obwohl die Gaststätte komplett voll war ,waren die Wartezeiten sehr kurz! ❤️ Der Service war aufmerksam, super freundlich und einfach nur herzlich. ❤️Auch die Getränke waren toll! Man merkt, dass hier wirklich Qualität geboten wird. ❤️ Auch die weihnachtliche Dekoration ist liebevoll, das Ambiente gemütlich und einladend. ❤️ Wenn ich Kritik finden müsste, dann eventuell nur, dass der Service schon an den Tisch zum abräumen kam, als ich noch nicht ganz mit der Vorspeise fertig war. Das hetzt etwas. ❤️ Nichtsdestotrotz waren wir rundum zufrieden, hatten einen wunderbaren Abend und kommen definitiv wieder! ❤️Dieses Restaurant ist eine absolute Empfehlung! ❤️ Und PS: Ich finde es ja immer schade, wenn Kunden sogar schreiben, dass sonst immer alles super war und kaum ist es einmal nicht so toll, gibt es gleich eine negative Rezension. Wenn es sonst super war, schreibt es doch nach den Besuchen! ❤️ Und nicht erst was, wenn es mal anders lief. ❤️

Super Essen und deftige Portionen, gerne wieder!

Deutsche Küche unter dem Kantine-Niveau und zu einem Preis von 2 Nieren und einer halben Lunge. Zum Glück wurde ich eingeladen und musste nicht selber Zahlen. Wer Steak(Lederlappen mit einer Stärke von 5mm) Au-four oder nur das Würzfleisch bestellt darf auch gleichzeitig Lotto spielen und auf den Gewinn der Worcestershiresauce hoffen. Das mal ein Haar in einer Kaschemme im Essen landet kann passieren wir sind ja auch nicht aus Watte aber 3 unterschiedliche ist dann doch schwierig. Immerhin gab es Vita Cola.

Sehr gute auch mecklenburgische Küche. Sehr nettes Personal. Kann man gut Essen gehen. Empfehlung.

Wir können das Restaurant leider nicht bewerten, weil wir extra dort hin gefahren sind und zur ausgewiesenen Öffnungszeit (ab 12.00 durchgehend - Internet und vor Ort) vor verschlossenen Türen standen.

Mecklenburger Küche, Preis-Leistung stimmt. Zu beachten ist, dass die Küche offen ist. Wer Küchengerüche nicht mag, sollte nach einem Tisch etwas weiter hinten fragen oder ggf. draußen. Volle Empfehlung, ich komme wieder! 👍🏻

Anlässlich eines Klassentreffens wurden wir zum Abendessen und zum Mittagessen sehr freundlich begrüßt und bestens bedient. Alle Teilnehmer danken der Chefin und ihrem Team für die sehr guten und schmackhaften Speisen und Getränke. Wir sagen nur, besser kann es nicht sein. Weiter so !!!!!

Keine Pommes in Angebot, Kinder lieben Pommes. Meinung des Hauses wird dem Gast aufgezwungen . Einem Gast der in einem Monat 18 Jahre alt wird darf bei " tau-helga" ein 0,3 Bier trinken aber, kein 0,5 er? Wo ist der Sinn? Die Eltern sind dabei. Lehrling wird in der Öffentlichkeit massgeregelt von der Köchin! Geht gar nicht. Essen war dafür super lecker.

Allerherzlichsten Dank für Ihre freundliche Bedienung, das sehr reichliche und schmackhafte Essen und die kurzfristige Platzreservierung. Wir waren mit einem Rollstuhlfahrer, für den extra eine gut befahrbare Blechrampe auf der zweistufigen Vortreppe ausgelegt wurde und einer Gehbehinderten in der Gaststätte. Trotz fast voll besetztem Parkplatz konnten beide Personen vor dem Eingang aus unseren Autos aussteigen. An der Straße befinden sich in direkter Nachbarschaft ausreichend viele gekennzeichnete Parkflächen. Wir waren mit Ihrem Service sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Nochmals herzlichen Dank!

Wir waren um 12 Uhr als erste Gäste im Restaurant und bekamen einen reservierten Tisch zugewiesen. Unter dem Tisch lagen noch Essensreste vom Vortag. Unsere Getränkebestellung wurde 10 Minuten später aufgenommen. Erst nach der Getränkebestellung wurde nach den Essenswünschen gefragt. Wir mussten dann geschlagene 45 Minuten aufs Essen warten, während viele andere Kunden bereits fertig mit Essen waren und wieder gingen. Wir waren die 1. Kunden um 12 Uhr.... Ich hatte Schweineleber mit Zwiebeln und Apfel und Kartoffelstampf. Die Leber war tod und in kleine Stücke geschnitten und total versalzen. Die Zwiebeln schwarz, der Kartoffelstampf hat auch nur nach Salz geschmeckt. Meine Begleiter hatten Bratkartoffeln in Fett. Pommes ect. gab es nicht. Wenn ich keinen Hunger gehabt hätte, hätte ich das Essen zurückgehen lassen, aber nach 1 Stunde Wartezeit, war das unzumutbar. Die Wirtin war sehr uneinsichtig und Preis - Leisung stimmt hier gar nicht. Es hatte gar nix mit Mecklenburger Küche zu. Wir kommen nicht wieder!

We were the first ones there at twelve. After 10 minutes, we were asked what we wanted to drink. After another 10 minutes, the drinks arrived and we were asked what we wanted to eat. We then had to wait another 45 minutes for the food. When we finally started to get restless, we were given the rude reply that the food was being made fresh and that we could have ordered faster. Meanwhile, other guests were being served, received their food, paid, and left. My meal was good, the rest of the family was moderately enthusiastic. There were no more fries or croquettes. But the fried potatoes were greasy. The onions on the liver were burnt. And every dish over €20 was awfully expensive.

Here, the customer is king. We went to dinner with a group and received exquisite service. Everyone received their meal at the same time, and it was particularly delicious and lovingly prepared. We would happily recommend it.

Disappointing visit to Tau Helga in Schwerin Three of us dined there. We ordered dishes: pork steak with mushrooms and steak "au four." All the steaks were dry and sliced ​​very thinly. When we asked if we could have fried potatoes instead of fries, we were told there was no deep fryer and the oil smelled; a clear explanation, but the side dish wasn't to our liking. When we asked during our meal whether the food was OK, we mentioned the dried-out steaks, but there was no response or clarification from the kitchen. We found the price to be unreasonably high compared to the quality. Overall, the value for money was not right. In summary: The quality of the meat and its preparation did not meet our expectations. No satisfactory response or solution from the kitchen when we asked questions. The value for money does not match the service. We will not be returning to Tau Helga again. Because when we read the positive reviews of other guests, we are always left with the question of whether it was really like that.

Unfortunately, the meat was overcooked and the price was exorbitant. The atmosphere would have been great if the weeds and the withered flower boxes had been taken care of.

Our meal was very good, the service was nice and friendly, and they immediately pointed out the daily special. Excellent; I highly recommend the "Hamburger-style" schnitzel.

From the outside, it's not inviting and not immediately recognizable, but inside it's cozy and clean, and the restrooms are also very clean. The food was delicious, warm, and plentiful, and there wasn't a long wait. We had pre-ordered and got a nice table. The waitress and waiter were very accommodating, friendly, and very attentive. We will definitely come back again.

The food was delicious, but the service...oh man. We had a table reservation, but had to wait a bit because a group ahead of us had problems with their reservation. Everything was fine up until that point...but then they gave OUR table to that group, and we were seated in the last corner. Absolutely no ventilation, and we waited 1.5 hours to get something to eat after ordering. The tables were far too small for the giant plates and extra bowls, even though everyone only had one main course and one drink. Despite the extremely long wait, more people were still accepted, and no extras were given for the waiting time (e.g., a baguette or something else to snack on). We were here shortly before 6 p.m. on a Friday and, drenched in sweat, couldn't leave until 8 p.m.

We had reserved a table for four people at Tau Helga at 12pm. At that time, about five or six tables were occupied. The menu is clear, and the very first page clearly states that card payments are not accepted. When you make a reservation by phone, you are not informed of this. After we had all ordered, we had to wait a whopping 65 minutes for our food. While we were waiting, the restaurant gradually filled up. After about 55 minutes, two older couples got their food, but they didn't arrive until 30 minutes after us. Our first impression was that regular customers were given priority and served more quickly. After about 65 minutes of waiting, we finally got our food. After we had our food, pissed off because we had waited, all the other guests also got their food every minute. This made it very clear that the kitchen wasn't ready at 12pm. So my opinion is that if you open at 12pm and accept reservations, the kitchen has to be ready too. And not an hour later. The food itself wasn't anything special. We've been to cheaper restaurants where the food tasted better. The service was okay, but it was getting annoying. After waiting 65 minutes for our food, she seemed to come to the table every three minutes to ask if everything was okay. There's an outdoor area that needs a bit more maintenance. If it rains, the outdoor area is unsuitable because it's only covered with a white net, which is a shame.

An old pub that's been given a great makeover. Everything has been thought of: children, seniors, and wheelchair users. The furnishings are old but beautifully restored. Someone has put a lot of thought into this. The food is down-to-earth and delicious. The service is friendly and courteous. Great! Highly recommended. We stayed at the Mueßer Hof, and the walk there was perfect for dinner.

The price-performance ratio was okay. The food was tasty. Service was friendly, and there weren't long waits.

The ambiance, which felt like it was from the 80s, didn't really appeal to us. We had sauerfleisch (pork meatballs), which were really good, and we had meatballs, which were dry and crumbly and didn't taste particularly good; the sauce was okay. Service was average. The prices for the food were perfectly reasonable, but the drinks were too expensive for a place like this.

The food here is of the finest quality! There were eight of us, and everyone ordered something different. The service was quick, everything was cooked to perfection, lovingly garnished, and absolutely delicious! A real recommendation!

We celebrated our 40th birthday at **Tau Helga** – and it was a complete success! From the first contact, the team was incredibly friendly, open and helpful. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands there. The ambience at Tau Helga is beautiful – stylish, cozy and with great attention to detail. Just the right place for a special celebration. We had our own area where we could celebrate in a relaxed manner with family and friends. The atmosphere was relaxed, but at the same time special - simply perfect for this occasion. The food was an absolute highlight! Every course was not only excellent in terms of taste, but also beautifully prepared. The kitchen uses high-quality ingredients and you can tell that there is real craftsmanship and passion behind it. The selection of drinks was also wonderful - from the aperitif to wine to the coffee at the end, everything was perfect. Our guests were thrilled - many even asked us how we found this beautiful restaurant. The friendly service and the relaxed atmosphere were particularly praised. You never had the feeling of being in a classic event room - everything seemed personal and made with a lot of love. A huge thank you to the entire Tau Helga team! You really made this special day unforgettable for us. We felt very comfortable from start to finish and will definitely come back - be it for another celebration or simply for a nice evening. Absolute recommendation – if you are looking for something special, you have come to the right place!!!!

The food was very good and generous portions. Friendly staff too. Furnishings are rather rustic but completely fine. We'd love to come back.

Today when I went there to order at 12 o'clock I was rushed and told to please order quickly otherwise I would have to wait longer than the others who were already sitting at the table. This is because my family had probably already ordered their food at around 11:45. If you open your restaurant earlier than stated and are already taking orders, it might be a good idea not to put a strain on guests who arrive later or on time by saying that things have to be done quickly otherwise you're basically rushing through the menu and making your selection. That would be great, unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, I got up and left, such an unfriendly attitude. No thank you, you want to enjoy the meal with the family and not be rushed away.

Impeccable food! The “Tau Helga” house specialty of roast ribs was great! Rarely have I eaten such tender meat and it was a dream! Great recommendation!

The service is really great. Unfortunately the food is not what the reviews promise. The duck is not crispy at all and the dumplings are cooked far too long. The red cabbage was delicious. My wife had fried potatoes that were absolutely undercooked and why are they without bacon? In summary, the service is great, but unfortunately the food is not.

We ate very well. For the starter there was spiced meat (perhaps let the cheese brown next time :D) I had a Hamburger schnitzel and my accompaniment was Grützwurst. Very good portions and you could taste that it was freshly prepared. It's been a long time since I've been really full after eating for fair money! Very happy again! One thing is just a shame, you can't pay by card. But what you can also understand.

We were just about to eat here, the kitchen is open from twelve to 9 p.m. It's Saturday 3:45 p.m. We are the first guests. There is not a person in the restaurant. The unfriendly colleague kicked us out straight away. She didn't have a table left for us 😂😂😂 Maybe she didn't want to set up again? How can you treat guests like that? Ridiculous!!!

The food is very good, the staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. The portions are sufficient to very large, we ate with 4 adults and everyone was sufficiently full, 2 people couldn't finish the meal. So even good eaters will get their money's worth here (recommendation Eisbein). The price/performance ratio is okay, even cheaper compared to other restaurants. Gladly again, absolute recommendation.

It's the worst price/performance ratio I've had in a long time. 1. Food price is absolutely overpriced for what you receive. 2. It is presumptuous and unjustified to demand a €3 surcharge if you want to change a supplement. Example. Schnitzel is available with fried potatoes or jacket potatoes. Everything costs €21.95 (too expensive for these small portions). If I want to change this supplement I should pay €3 more. On what grounds? As I said, all schnitzel variants cost €21.95. It can't be the calculation. This is money-making at the highest level. 3. You are served bad food (liver is almost inedible because it is far too tough). The answer you get is "That's it, I can't change it." This statement is absolutely unacceptable. 4. Only cash payment possible. I don't expect that from a local restaurant. This raises questions in my mind and is no longer up to date. How did they do that during Corona times when only card payments were possible? A rogue who thinks evil of whether such practices are somehow missing the point. So why not card payment????? Finally! Whether someone wants to take advantage of these practices and price/performance, everyone has to make this experience for themselves. I will discourage anyone who asks me about it.

Not a pretty sight from the outside. But the restaurant is very nicely furnished and beautifully decorated for autumn. The food was very tasty and tasty.

Waren 2x zum Mittag hier essen. Eher rustikal und gutbürgerliche Küche ohne Schnickschnack. Wenn man das erwartet, wird man nicht enttäuscht. Die Tomatensauce schmeckt wie vor 30 Jahren. 😉 für Kinder gibt es eine tolle Spieleecke und man kann in die Küche gucken.

Had lunch here twice. Rather rustic and home-style cuisine without any frills. If you expect that, you won't be disappointed. The tomato sauce tastes like it did 30 years ago. 😉 There is a great play area for children and you can look into the kitchen.

Ich war mit meiner Familie im August im Tau Helga essen. Da ich leider eine Allergie gegen alle klassischen Getreidesorten (u.a Gluten) habe, hatte ich am Vortag telefonisch erfragt, ob die Möglichkeit besteht, dass ich für die Soßenzubereitung mein eigenes Mehl mitbringen könnte. Aus hyginieschen Gründen sei dies nicht möglich, wurde mir in einem ziehmlich ungehaltenen Tonfall gesagt. Dabei hätte ich das Mehl gern original-verpackt mitgebracht. Ich habe daraufhin höflich erfragt, ob es denn für die Zukunft denkbar wäre, glutenfreies Mehl dauerhaft anzuschaffen, um eben auch Menschen mit Allergien "erreiche" und bewirten zu können. Die Antwort: " Das lohnt nicht wegen 2-3 Allergikern im Jahr." Als ich dann meine eigene Soße mitgebracht und diese der Chefin persönlich überreicht hatte (sie selbst hatte mir dies am Telefon sogar vorgeschlagen), hatte sie die Augen verleiert und brachte die Soße in die Küche. Mein Onkel hat verbranntes Fleisch serviert bekommen, welches unter Zwiebeln versteckt wurde. Als er daraufhin aufmerksam gemacht hatte, gab es weder eine Entschuldigung noch eine kleine Entschädigung. Meine Cousine, (16 Jahre) wurde von der Chefin in einem unmöglichen Tonfall angefaucht, als diese sich ein Radler bestellen wollte und eben noch keine Volljährigkeit vorweisen konnte. Als zur Kaffezeit die Torten durch die Chefin serviert wurden, sagte diese wieder in einem unhöflichen Tonfall zu mir " Die Torten dürfen sie übrigens auch alle nicht essen." Auch hier hatte ich ihr am Vortag am Telefon gesagt, dass das für mich kein Problem sei, ich stattdessen gern Eis essen würde. Mir wurde jedoch weder eine Eiskarte gebracht, noch gefragt was ich stattdessen gern möchte. Erst als ich dann explizit nach der Eiskarte gefragt hatte, wurde mir diese gebracht. Ich habe mich dann für den Erdbeer-Eisbecher entschieden. Eine der Servicekräfte meinte dann, dass sie keine Erdbeeren mehr haben. Habe ich geffragt, ob ich dann einen der anhderen Früchtebecher haben kann. Letztendlich hatten sie gar keine Früchte da, auch nicht tiefgekühlt als Alternative. Der in der Eiskarte beworbene Eisbecher bestand dann nur noch aus 2 Kugeln Eis und Sahne. Soße, Streusel, Früchte etc. = Fehlanzeige. Andere Eisbecher Alternativen auch Fehlanzeige. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass die Servicekräfte alle stets höflich und bemüht waren, die Chefin jedoch leider anhaltend unhöflich und nicht gästeorientiert. Wir mussten leider auch beobachten, wie diese mehrfach einzelne Servicekräfte zusammenstauchte. Alles in allem äußerst unprofessionell. Nie Wieder!

Eigentlich komme ich sehr gerne hier her, wegen der guten Küche. Nun waren wir samstagmittags da, Alles verschlossen, kein Hinweis darauf das geschlossen ist. Wir haben einen halbstündigen Anfahrtsweg umsonst in Kauf genommen. Auf Telefon auch keine Reaktion. Im Internet und auf der Tafel stand das geöffnet ist . Keine gute Werbung. Wenigstens an der Gaststätte kann man schreiben das geschlossen ist.

We have been to Tau Helga again for many years. Although it was very busy, a place was arranged. Service was very nice, the food was very good and typically Mecklenburg. The ambience outside is simple, but great for those who love nature and peace. We will be back.....

Stopped there spontaneously for dinner and were very surprised at the variety of delicious dishes. The price/performance ratio is really right here and the quality of the cuisine is really recommendable. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Wednesday and Thursday are closed days & EC/Visa card payments are not possible. Tip: If you're not that hungry, order the senior version of the dishes on offer and it costs €5 less than the normal price... and you'll also be well full.

We were there with a class of children with disabilities, we had a great table set and our individual requests (food intolerances, pureed food) were addressed in an uncomplicated, patient and creative way. We felt so comfortable that we spontaneously made a reservation again the next day! And the next day there was another great selection of delicious food for the kids and us adults! We have never been served so warmly and naturally! Thank you very much for that! We will be back!

Friendly staff, food tastes good and is freshly prepared. Unfortunately the prices are a little too high for my taste. Therefore only 4 stars.

The restaurant is inconspicuous and very hidden. Still great and we'll visit again next year.

If you love good Mecklenburg cuisine, you should definitely stop by Tau Helga! We have been here several times and are always very satisfied, both with the food and the service. All employees are very friendly and accommodating. It's a bit of a shame that you can't pay by card, but if you know it, you can be prepared for it next time you visit.

From A - Z everything was great. I'm not good at walking, there's even parking in front of the door. The short distance was important to me.

The shock of life! It is now more expensive here than in Travemünde or on Sylt! The noise level from the kitchen is almost unbearable from the table opposite! My liver dish was not what I was used to but more expensive!

The service is very quick, drinks and food come very quickly, about 5 to 15 minutes waiting time. Home cooking (including spiced meat, farmer's breakfast and grützwurst) very well prepared, tasty and decent portions, for seniors there are smaller quantities and prices. All in all, very nice.

Even though we didn't make a reservation, we still got two seats (it was Women's Day). The service was very friendly and attentive. The ice cream sundae and also the cappuccino were very tasty.

Sind schon seit vielen Jahren zum Weihnachtsessen bei Tau Helga und es ist immer wieder hervorragend. Wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl. Können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren mehr als zufrieden. Der Rippenbraten hat definitiv die Bezeichnung Spezialität des Hauses verdient. Wir kommen gerne wieder
