Long waiting times. In general everything seems a bit disorganized. The food is good but the service needs to be worked on. The prices are too high for what is offered. At least there is Augustiner Bräu, but you have to wait a bit for it..

Friendly waiters, nice place, good wine and even better steaks.

Everything is very nice. The outdoor area is currently 04.04. in full bloom. Daily meal with a very good price-performance ratio.

Very good food. I went there for the first time last weekend and can recommend it.

Yesterday we were guests at the Block House again. The order was taken promptly. The salad was served quickly. As always, this one was very good. After 45 minutes we politely asked the waitress whether the order was still coming. Various guests who came after us received their orders before us and had already finished their food at the time of our complaint. When our food was finally served - as always, my husband ordered Filet Mignon and I ordered Rumsteack Mrs. - we were very surprised. The filet mignon was a thin piece of meat, very small and in no way the shape of the filet mignon as we know it. The flat, thin piece of meat delivered had nothing to do with the desire to serve the filet mignon "through", as has always been requested in the past. We've never been served anything like filet mignon before. My rum steak Mrs. was tasteless and flaky. Due to our complaint, the service employee informed us that supposedly after consulting the chef that it was a filet mignon. As far as my complaint was concerned, I was offered to be served a different piece of meat. Due to the fact that we had to wait almost an hour for our food and I wasn't interested in another rum steak, I politely declined. When another service employee, who had cleared away the plates that had been on our table for a long time, asked whether everything had been to our satisfaction, we also informed him about our negative experience. We were then informed that the pieces of meat were delivered with their respective weights and were not cut by the chefs. The weight of the filet mignon we ordered was not primarily the reason for our complaint, but rather that we did not receive a filet mignon, but instead a different piece of meat, which did not correspond to the price of €30. Conclusion: We will no longer visit the Block House and will not recommend it to anyone else.

We had a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner at Black Bison Steakhouse. Our server and bartender Chris recommended the T-bone for my wife and the special of the day, which was a zebra steak, sourced to a farm in South Africa. I have tried a number of unusual steaks, so I gave the zebra a try. Both the T-bone and the zebra were cooked perfectly. The sides were delicious, as was the baked pear with vanilla sauce for dessert. Chris did an awesome job with recommendations and service. The entire dining experience was great! Danke schön!

Service was good, we got our food together with our drinks which is a bit special. The beer was great though. The food was tasty but overcooked. Atmosphere was busy and the place was a tad rundown, but you can easily hold a conversation
