III-2025: fits - still 👌 Well attended on weekends - reservations protect you from disappointment 🙏 // If you want to eat authentically Spanish food, this is the place for you - for many years! We haven't eaten beef and lamb fillets so tenderly in a long time. Matching sauces, delicately seasoned vegetables, perfect baked potatoes - hmmm. Before that, fine pastes and olives with fresh bread - that's the way to live :) And late guests from the neighboring theater can still get delicious tapas even after 10 p.m. The service, even on Monday, was competent and unobtrusive. We'd love to come back :) :)

Das Ambiente war gemütlich. Es gab Austern. Ich habe zwei Stück bestellt. In beiden waren Schalensplitter. Das ist ein No Go!! Preis/Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis.

Sehr leckere Paella mit Freunden dort gegessen und schöne Stunden verbracht. Aufmerksame Bedienung und nettes Ambiente. Weiter so! 👍

Unfortunately the memory card was very reduced and we opted for tapas, which were plentiful and freshly prepared.

Der Spanier bietet ein tolles Ambiente, wie eine Tapasbar im Urlaub. Freundlicher und schneller Service mit viel guter Laune. Die Tapas Auswahl ist sehr frisch und lecker. Sogar Paella gibt es für eine Person. Direkt am Ostbahnhof gelegen, also sehr gut mit den Öffis zu erreichen. Dann darf es auch ein leckerer Wein aus dem guten Angebot sein. Kurzurlaub in Spanien - direkt vor der Haustür! Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir mit Freunden.

The food was quite good, except for the black olives, where you could literally taste the sulfur. The waiter was extremely annoyed and let it out, it's not possible!

This bar was closed on friday 24.11.23, altough in google was declared as open! From the street it looked that this place is permanently closed. It used to be a very good a delicous restaurant. Pity.

We were there for dinner yesterday around 5:30 p.m. Was a big mistake. The restaurant was very cold, I think because there were no people there so early and it wasn't heated up. First I ordered 2 Hefeweizen. The waiter asked: Light? Yes. Then comes two pilsners. Ok, I didn't complain, I just took it, no problem. We ordered a starter, olives, alioli and 4-5 pieces of very thin baguette slices were also included for €9.50. I ordered a bit more bread, another 4-5 small slices came for an extra €4.10. Later I looked at the invoice. Then he brought out the main course, first some fish in sauce or I don't know, we didn't even order it. Squid rings and anchovies had strange tastes. Chili con carne and baby squid were delicious. We wanted to go smoke, the young waiter asked if we wanted to pay?! No, we're leaving without paying. After smoking he asked if I would like another beer, I said no thanks and he wanted to take my empty glass with him. If he had any idea about serving people, he would know that you don't do something like that, it's just rude. Then you sit there without glasses like a bum. I ordered an invoice and then I saw that there was an extra €4.10 for the 4 slices of skin-thin bread. Then I freaked out. Started to argue and said he should call the boss. Then came the answer that he was just cooking. Ok, a boy came out of the kitchen and said in Spanish that he should deduct the €4.10 from the bill. I even tipped €1.60, but for what. In 2023 and 2024 I was there often, always friendly service, good prices, delicious food. Now things have changed. Too bad. That was my last visit with them.

Great tapas overall, the tacos were fairly heavy. They allow you to order paella on the spot, my muscle were a bit Chewie. Overall I enjoyed it.
