La Tapa in Nürnberg

Ich kann nicht nachvollziehen, dass jemand das Restaurant nach der Renovierung und Änderung in La Tapa & Sushi schlecht bewertet. Es gibt zwar nicht mehr ganz so viele spanische Tapas, aber der Koch dafür ist offensichtlich noch derselbe, auch die Fischtapas, die wir gegessen haben, waren wie früher, wenn man mal davon absieht, dass die Servierkeramik nicht so heiß war wie sonst. Es gibt nach wie vor Brot und Aioli ohne Berechnung in gleicher Qualität wie früher. Dass es jetzt auch noch japanische Vorspeisen gibt, finde ich nicht schlecht. Das lässt sich durchaus kombinieren. Alles was wir zu fünft probiert haben (spanisch und japanisch) war richtig gut. Dass jemand das Ambiente mit dem lustigen kroatischen Ober vermisst, ist verständlich. Aber auch die jungen asiatischen Bedienungen, die jetzt dort arbeiten, waren sehr freundlich, wenn auch sprachlich etwas eingeschränkt. Wir werden wieder hingehen. Nachtrag: Wir waren jetzt Ende April wieder da. Jetzt ist sogar der kroatische Ober wieder an Bord. Demnächst soll das spanische Tapas-Angebot erweitert werden. Essen auch jetzt schon top.

Sehr schönes Lokal mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Hier ist es eine Freude sich zum Essen zu verabreden. Ich bin immer wieder hier, liebe die Küche und die Atmosphäre. Habe schon viele der Tapas probiert, es gibt natürlich welche die nicht meinen Geschmack treffen, aber auch zu Haus trifft nicht alles meinen Geschmack was ich ausprobiere. Den Preis finde ich angemessen für einen netten Abend. Waren jetzt wieder mal dort, das erste mal seit den großen Veränderungen. Es gibt nur noch wenig von der spanischen Küche, was aus der mal aehr großen Auswahl wurde weiß ich nicht, dafür viele Seiten japanische Küche. Mein Sohn lieb dies, ich nicht. Von der spanischen Fischplatte war uch auch nicht begeistert - auch das war vor einem Jahr noch ganz anders. Schade, mit dem alten La Tapa hat das Lokal nichts mehr zu tun, diese Ära ist vorbei - warum es azch immer geändert wurde 🤷‍♀️

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit ausgesprochen aufmerksamen und liebem Personal! 🤩 Die Karte ist sehr vielfältig und es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei! Der Tofusalat Yuki ist toll, Udonyaki mega lecker und die Poke Bowls sind ein Traum! Alle Daumen hoch! Danke dafür! 🙏🏼🥰

Die ausgewählten Tappas waren köstlich. Die Kombi aus Sushi und Tappasbar ist außergewöhnlich. Vielleicht probiere ich das nächste Mal Sushi? Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man bekommt gut einen Parkplatz in unmittelbaren Nähe.

Ich war gestern mit meinen Freunden hier essen und ich muss sagen das war nicht unser letzter Besuch. Wenn man gerne zusammen mit seinen Freunden isst und nebenbei quatschten möchte ist das der perfekte Ort dafür. Wir haben uns wichtig wohl gefühlt und der Service war gut. Trotz der schlechten Bewertungen bin ich mal hier mit meine Familie essen gegangen, und wir wurden direkt von der Atmosphäre des Lokals überrascht. Das Personal war wirklich freundlich und haben uns bei der Wahl der Gerichten weitergeholfen, und das Ambiente an sich ist auch sehr einladend. Das essen war hervorragend, es hat wirklich einen guten eindruck gelassen. Ich werde öfters hier essen gehen!

Das Essen ist eine Mega geile Mischung aus Spanisch und Japanisch. Man merkt echt dass die Köche liebevoll mit dem Essen umgehen und der Service war auch on Point. Würde es echt weiter empfehlen für Leute die mal wieder etwas Neues brauchen.

Tolles Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis sowie schnelle und freundliche Bedienung! Besonders das Sushi kann ich weiter empfehlen, ich werde definitiv wieder kommen.

Wir haben gestern zum ersten Mal bei La Tapa & Sushi etwas zum Mitnehmen bestellt und waren wirklich überrascht, wie schnell das Essen kam. Da wir vor Ort bestellt hatten und mit einer Wartezeit gerechnet haben, haben wir uns zwei Vorspeisen zum Warten bestellt. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Sushi hat zu Hause noch frisch geschmeckt. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Nächstes Mal würden wir gerne die Tapas probieren.

Entgegen einiger schlechter Bewertungen, sind wir heute ins „neue La Tapas und Sushi“ gegangen und war wirklich wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Spanische Küche ist so gut wie immer( wir gehen schon seit vielen Jahren ins La Tapas) und das japanische Essen war auch sehr sehr fein - ein Lob an die Küche🫶Der Kellner und die Kellnerin waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und die Atmosphäre ist nach wie vor gemütlich und nicht, wie geschrieben wird, ein weiterer Asiate Der offene Kanin sorgt einfach zusätzlich für Gemütlichkeit - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Essen unterdurchschnittlich, Service extrem langsam und recht unfreundlich. Dazu war kaum Platz; ich hab mich wie in der Economy Class im Flugzeug gefühlt. Sicher war das mein letzter Besuch hier :-(

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, Tapas wie früher gibt es nicht mehr, dafür Sushi. Wir haben auch 30 min gewartet, dass wir endlich bezahlen konnten. Angeblich wegen einem technischen Defekt, aber komisch, die anderen konnten bezahlen.

Die Karte hat nur 2 Seiten Tapas und mehr Seiten Sushi. Das Sushi war aber leider nicht gut und hat echt lange gedauert obwohl es nicht voll war.

Leider eine grosse Enttäuschung, weil es mit La Tapa nichts mehr zu tun hat. 20 Jahre waren wir dort, aber eine Ära ist definitiv vorbei. Wir hatten wieder die kulinarische Reise. Nur das erste mal in 20 Jahren ist man hungrig raus. Portionen kleiner und es fehlen Gänge. Die Krönung aber das Dessert. Eine schwarze komische Pampe in einem kleinen Schälchen und eine Art Pudding im Glas. Für 4 Leute. Aus den 2 kleinen Sachen löffelt man dann zu viert raus. Da war ich sprachlos. Teller gibt’s auch nicht, nur was ganz kleines, wo man z.B. einen Kochlöffel ablegt. Braucht man aber auch nicht, weil so viel Essen ist es ja nicht. Auch die Schinken und alles spanische ist verschwunden. Wo man sich so wohl gefühlt hat. Alles nur noch asiatisch. Es bricht mir das Herz, weil wir so viele schöne Abende da verbracht haben und es immer was besonderes war. Nicht zuletzt wegen den Menschen die dort gearbeitet haben. Freundlich, lustig, sympathisch, absolut familiär. Der Chef eine Ikone und der treue tschechische Kellner legendär. Jeder der mal dort war, weiß wen ich meine. Wie oft hat er sich geopfert und mit uns angestoßen. Immer lustig und immer einen lockeren Spruch. Wir werden das vermissen und nie vergessen. Der Laden war immer voll. Egal wann. Nun ein Trauerspiel am Samstag Abend. Scheinen mehr so zu sehen. Wir haben da zu 4 auch schon mal 350€ gelassen und es war jeden Cent wert. Da wollte man garnicht heim, ganz im Gegensatz zu diesem mal. Die Karte überschaubar und das meiste asiatisch. Die Preise der Wahnsinn. Naja mit Sushi lässt sich Geld verdienen. Und die kulinarische Reise lohnt sich für das Geld nicht mehr. Es gibt jetzt einfach einen weiteren Asiaten mehr, mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen

Ein sehr nettes Ambiente. Die Bedienungen sind sehr zuvorkommend und der Service ist super. Ich habe Sushi gegessen und es war wie immer sehr lecker und immer liebevoll angerichtet. Aber die Tapas sind auch zu empfehlen. Rund um alles perfekt und definitiv weiter zu empfehlen!

Unfortunately, there's no indication on either the website or Facebook page that the restaurant is closed for (apparently extensive) renovations. You're happy about that, but only realize when you get to the door that the trip was in vain. :-(

Very tasty and very friendly service

It started so well, with a friendly welcome and good food... but after the first appetizers, it took forever. The chef (or at least it looked like he was) was sitting with regulars, and there was only one waitress in the restaurant, even though it was full. It didn't make a good impression. We wanted to order more but then decided not to. We wanted to pay, but no one was available to help us... what a pity.

Great restaurant! We wanted to try something different with the family and found it here. It was absolutely no mistake. There were ten of us here, and we had two tables in the back by the open fireplace. Six people had already opted for the tapas tour (which is recommended), while the others opted for a la carte. We were all thrilled! The service was also excellent (two younger men and one older one (the boss?). We will definitely recommend La Tapa! Keep up the good work!

We embarked on this culinary journey without knowing what to expect. At €40 per person, it wasn't cheap. Unfortunately, there was only a bit of meat on one occasion, and the rest were cold and fishy tapas. Service was almost nonexistent. Drinks were only requested at the very beginning, and then, despite empty glasses, no one asked if we wanted anything else. The food tasted okay.

I had a very good meal there years ago, but found that the food was no longer of the same quality. We had a fly in our octopus salad. The salad was replaced without any problems. But the sardines were also too hard and full of bones. There were also an unusually large number of flies buzzing around us in the restaurant, which didn't seem particularly hygienic. The shandy tasted rather artificial.

Six of us were treated to a culinary journey through La Tapa's kitchen and were overwhelmed. It was an all-around delicious evening with charming humor and first-class service. We're already looking forward to the next time ❤️

It's not that the food was bad. It just has nothing to do with Spanish. Neither the way it's prepared nor the ingredients. I know tapas differently, and selling some Krakow-like dish as chorizo ​​is outrageous. The service, on the other hand, was excellent, professional and friendly. The beer garden is also lovely with the large old trees, which unfortunately drop a few things every now and then.

Everything was wonderful! We felt very comfortable from the first greeting to the last house shot! The service was excellent; everyone was super attentive, friendly, and chatty. Thanks again to the entire team! The food was fantastic; the so-called "culinary journey" left nothing to be desired! The beer garden is large and cozy and offers space for, among other things, the house herbs! I'm thrilled and already looking forward to our next visit! See you soon!

Our favorite Spanish restaurant in town definitely deserves five stars! Located on the outskirts of the northwest of Nuremberg, the restaurant offers a wonderful atmosphere both in winter and summer. In winter, the fire in the fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere, while in summer, we can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in the courtyard. We are particularly enthusiastic about the "Andalusian Journey" menu. The many small tapas are simply delicious and ensure you can feast until you drop. This selection has already impressed our birthday guests and created unforgettable moments. The friendly staff always takes care of us and makes every visit a special experience. We always enjoy coming here and can highly recommend the restaurant!

Thanks to the slightly sour aioli, I've had stomach cramps with diarrhea since 3 a.m. The paella tastes original, like from bofrost. I can only advise against it.

Hello everyone, I have no idea what kind of meat the previous speaker thinks he ate, but I can't even share his opinion. We eat there 2 or 3 times a year and I love this place! The ambience looks good, the staff is in a good mood and keeps an eye on the guest if something is needed at the table. I love the aoli ​​cream – if it were up to me, there should be a lot more garlic in it. My family also really likes the food there and after the meal there is usually a brandy on the house, which I always find very pleasant.

This review is actually intended to help the restaurant operator improve important little things and should not be seen as criticism. We went to La Tapa for lunch on a Sunday. What struck us positively: Very friendly, quick service. Bright, friendly atmosphere. Drinks and food were served very quickly. Generous bread basket with aioli as a complimentary appetizer. The wine and brandy were outstanding. 70 percent of the different tapas tasted delicious and were flawless. (a matter of taste, of course) Negative but important little things: We would have expected Spanish music in a Spanish restaurant, but instead loud aggressive English music. All the tapa plates and bowls were cold and the food was no longer hot. only slightly lukewarm The potatoes were from the day before and cold in the middle. A specially ordered side dish (potatoes) should be fresh and warm. We will try La Tapa again in the hope of being served warm plates and hot dishes. We give the service a full five stars.

I’ve eaten Tapas in loads of Spanish restaurants and good Tapas restaurants in Nuremberg also, but this place was horrific! I recently moved to the area and took my little girl there to “try it out”…. well upon arrival we were kind of ignored, to the point where I even asked if they are open. We got a table and the waiter was a very arrogant person, the place was about 1/4 full and his attitude came across as “why are you wasting my time, I’ve got better things to be doing”! Ok so me and my little girl ordered drinks, so far so good. When we ordered the tapas, the waiter gave me the impression that I didn’t have a clue and again that I was wasting his time. The food came out very quickly and we ordered the Albondigas, Papas Fritas, Dates in Bacon etc. Well what can I say!!!! I told my little girl not to eat anymore because the Albondigas were the worst we’ve ever eaten! As for the Dates wrapped in bacon (you can’t really go wrong here) they tasted awful, like charcoal. I called the waiter over and told him that I wasn’t happy that the Albondigas are awful and the Dates in bacon taste of charcoal. His reaction was incredible, he took the dates in bacon away and came back and said “they are fine”! I asked him if the chef had tasted them, he said “yes”, at which point I said “with all due respect, he obviously can’t cook then”. I instructed my hungry little girl not to eat anymore more of the foul tasting meatballs. We paid our bill and will never go there again. To make it up to my daughter, I took her to another tapas restaurant which my friend in Nuremberg owns, and said to her “I’m so sorry that I took you to such a bad tapas restaurant, let me make it up to you by taking you to a tapas restaurant, where you will love the food”! Sure enough, we’ve visited my mates restaurant in Nürnberg so many times now, because I had to get that horrible “La Tapa” experience out of my system. So if you want real Tapas in Nürnberg, go to “Bodega El Gato”

We had reserved and were there for dinner from 5:30 p.m. The restaurant, which was initially almost empty, filled up well by 7 p.m. Despite the many occupied tables, we felt we were served well and quickly. The attentive service was always present without being intrusive. Since we only ordered tapas, everyone had two to three small dishes in front of them, which the others also tried. The tapas are arranged like small dishes, i.e. with side dishes. For example, the chicken already comes with potatoes and vegetables. You don't need any extra potatoes or grilled vegetables for the meat and fish tapas.

I've been thinking about writing this review of last summer for a long time. We discovered the store after moving the year before last and found it to be good. In the meantime there have been around a dozen visits. So about once a month. The high prices are justified due to the portion sizes and quality, even if one or two dishes have nothing to do with Spanish food. The majority of the tapas are authentic. The waiter with 0.5mm short hair has a very special style, but we got along with it. A 70-year-old is called a “girl” and he works as if he were on an assembly line. You are brought to the table and have to order drinks straight away, which come quickly. If you haven't chosen any food yet, you'll be stressed out, even if half the garden is empty! Once you've eaten, you won't be asked for drinks or anything like that, but yes, you know it's okay. But now to the evaluation. Last year in September I stopped by on my evening round and wanted to spontaneously eat something alone at 5 p.m. (the shop opens here). I didn't just sit down but asked said waiter if it was okay. I would be gone by 6 p.m. (peak time). This question could have been answered in the negative, but instead I was brought to a table, served a beer and given the menu. There were only two tables occupied in the garden. Afterwards I was pointedly ignored! At 5:30 p.m. I wanted to order food and was fobbed off with the words "that's no longer possible." With a 95% EMPTY garden you would have made 40 euros in sales in just under an hour, but who doesn't want to. Then I wasn't allowed to pay for my beer at the table but was summoned to the bar. It should be clear that there is NO TIPPING. I paid for the 3.90 euro beer with a 5 euro bill, which the waiter pocketed and looked at me stupidly like "what else do you want here?" After I told him that I definitely wouldn't tip, he threw me 1 euro of remaining money, so I'm still 10 cents missing. You know, we were about to become regular customers, now you've lost the two of us (+family) as customers. It's not about 10 cents, it's about the incredibly arrogant, self-absorbed nature of the waiter. Instead of making sales before rush hour when the garden is empty (40 euros in 45 minutes is a good hourly rate), it is better to scare away customers for life. You're only good at 1200 euros in sales per year. But feel free to play around with more guests :) PS: The precursor was a visit where we each ordered 3 starters and main courses, which then came at the same time. The waiter didn't even notice. Mistakes happen but you have to own up to them. Only when I spoke to him did he say, “Oh well, the kitchen did it wrong.” No apologies, no espresso on the house, nothing. Great when you have to choke down your expensive food so it doesn't get cold. Oh well. If you have had a good experience with the store so far, good luck. For us that was it.

The La Tapa in Wetzendorf is somewhat hidden in Knoblauchsland. It's all the better if you get lost there every now and then. At La Tapa I particularly like the tapas journey. Simply reserve a table and order a tapas trip and you will be served the most delicious dishes until you are completely full and at a really fair price. Fish soup, prawns in garlic oil, dates wrapped in bacon, paella, fish, meat, ham, olives, cheese or a vegetarian selection, super tasty and without the stress of having to choose everything yourself. Just sit down and enjoy.

We had dinner at La Tapa with a group of 13 on Saturday evening. We were all greeted warmly and very friendly. The drinks, as well as the food order, were extremely quick and were always greeted with a quick message. The first round of drinks came very quickly, and the food was also at the table very quickly. Every single dish was freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. You saw it and tasted it too. From the time we ordered the drinks until we had all finished eating, it only took 60 minutes. But now comes the drawback why I have to deduct 1 star. After everyone had finished eating, we had to wait a long time for the second drink order. We were always put off with “in a minute” or “in a minute”. We sat in front of our empty glasses for about 25-30 minutes. The third drink order took a similar amount of time. There were only two of the innkeepers in the restaurant that evening. I don't know if that's standard practice or if there were only two of them due to illness. If this is the case as standard, you should think about hiring a temporary employee who may only be responsible for drinks. We weren't the only table that felt this way. The same thing happened to the tables around us. Conclusion: very friendly and really great food, but in my opinion the drinks thing just doesn't work. Nevertheless, La Tapa gets a second chance from us.
