Olé Madrid in München

We were there for dinner yesterday around 5:30 p.m. Was a big mistake. The restaurant was very cold, I think because there were no people there so early and it wasn't heated up. First I ordered 2 Hefeweizen. The waiter asked: Light? Yes. Then comes two pilsners. Ok, I didn't complain, I just took it, no problem. We ordered a starter, olives, alioli and 4-5 pieces of very thin baguette slices were also included for €9.50. I ordered a bit more bread, another 4-5 small slices came for an extra €4.10. Later I looked at the invoice. Then he brought out the main course, first some fish in sauce or I don't know, we didn't even order it. Squid rings and anchovies had strange tastes. Chili con carne and baby squid were delicious. We wanted to go smoke, the young waiter asked if we wanted to pay?! No, we're leaving without paying. After smoking he asked if I would like another beer, I said no thanks and he wanted to take my empty glass with him. If he had any idea about serving people, he would know that you don't do something like that, it's just rude. Then you sit there without glasses like a bum. I ordered an invoice and then I saw that there was an extra €4.10 for the 4 slices of skin-thin bread. Then I freaked out. Started to argue and said he should call the boss. Then came the answer that he was just cooking. Ok, a boy came out of the kitchen and said in Spanish that he should deduct the €4.10 from the bill. I even tipped €1.60, but for what. In 2023 and 2024 I was there often, always friendly service, good prices, delicious food. Now things have changed. Too bad. That was my last visit with them.

Incredibly bad ordering experience today: ⬇️ Fish and meat were MIXED?! You can't mix bacon and fish together. ⬇️ Instead of a Spanish dessert, Magnum ice cream was delivered and instead of Paloma --> Sprite 😂 really. Nothing was said about it either; no discount - nada. ⬇️ Already cold and the taste didn't live up to the price. ⬇️ Product presentation really disgusting...sauce in wooden/cardboard things wrapped in aluminum foil...really disgusting when opened. ⬇️ The portions were sooo small ⬇️ The high prices are not justified at all. That really needs to be adjusted. ⬆️ The only positive experience was the friendly interaction with the courier. Conclusion: If at all....then go there ; You can order it yourself ------- This was the review from 1-2 years ago when I ate there: Just wow! What a great value for money! The portions are huge for taps and so delicious! 👌🏻 The team could be a little more motivated and ask the guests from time to time if they need anything; Unfortunately, especially this time, the service was really too slow... Definitely recommended! But there was a very long wait and the drink orders weren't taken quite correctly - 4 stars.

The shop deserves a full 5 stars! The power bank machine was exactly what I needed. Great additional service that shows how much they think about the needs of their customers here.

You can forget about it now🙈 For paella the rice was far too dry; had ordered paella with fish/seafood; were exactly squid rings in it; a few mussels and shrimps on top...that's it. Were there last time!!!

It's best to leave it alone and find one of the good Spaniards in town. Here you will simply walk out annoyed after eating. The food itself was okay, but what was around it just ruined it. Service, ambience, guests, drunk boss who insults you in the toilet. By the way, not a single Spaniard works in the shop.

Had a very good seafood paella. I can only recommend the restaurant.

The service was fine until I paid, but when I checked out they said the POS was broken and I had to pay in cash. In this cold weather, I went to withdraw cash and walked for more than 20 minutes to find an ATM! Then my card was blocked because I forgot the PIN! Afterwards I was suddenly told that card payments were possible! Why is payment so complicated for us because we look like foreigners? Why can others pay directly by card?

The food was very exquisite. Great service, very friendly and attentive and spectacular cocktails. Super recommended

Ordered food from them via Uber Eats. When the food arrived it was ice cold. Two drinks and a dessert were also missing. Tried to call her several times (since complaining about the missing food via the app didn't work for some reason) it seems the phone is just there for decoration... Thanks for nothing...

Underground! We waited 40 minutes for our food even though only one other table was occupied. The guacamole was inedible, the other dishes were incomplete and didn't taste good at all. The table and floor have stuck. The restaurant has definitely seen better days. It's really not recommended. We won't be coming back again.

The best patatas bravas in a long time!

What a wonderful find! It was a quiet night but we given a warm welcome by a charming waiter who spoke excellent English. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Excellent authentic taste of Spain. Do go!

Food good. Service ok. Prices for the small tapas portions are a bit too high. However, there is a very large selection of tapas that are sorted by €7.75 and €7.95 per portion.

Where to start? Tapas were burnt, burrito had bones in it, waited half an hour to be served, one of our friends dropped by accident the fork, never got a new one, even though we asked for it. Very overpriced and overall poor quality of service/food. We won’t be coming back.

If I could rate it a zero I would. Firstly the service is below expectations. We waited almost 15 minutes just for the waiter to come and throughout the night he was not very attentive to us. The food is overpriced for what you get. And what you get is below average. The burrito had a very vinegary tomato sauce and the chicken had a bone in it. My friend got burnt bacon, twice. And the portion size is really small. We would have made better food at home at a much lower price. We will definitely never come again.

Food is above our expectations. Tasty and very generous portions. Staff was also friendly. They even had offers for tapas and drink on the day we went. We will definitely go there again.

Sangria was diluted with a lot of water and the fruit in it was frozen, had no taste and the price was overpriced, after complaining we were given a red wine (I ordered house wine, I got a Rijoca for €9 a glass, which had been open for too long was, at least that's how it tasted) Were there 5 months ago and were really impressed with the food, drink and service. Apparently something has changed....?

Unfortunately we were probably here on the wrong day. It's Friday, the restaurant is half empty, we've been waiting for 40 minutes and haven't even gotten anything to drink yet. We're going again.

Tolles Spanisches Restaurant mit typischen Tapas und sonstigen Gerichten. Ein schönes Weinangebot und gute Cocktails. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Am Samstagabend ist eine schöne Flamencoeinlage

Very nice service, even if she only spoke English (and maybe Spanish?). We had two types of paella and one fajita, which were all delicious. For dessert we had churros and crema catalana. Since the caramelized sugar was partially burned and therefore no longer edible, we deducted one star. The facilities also appealed to us, we will definitely go there again.

We were at Ole Madrid on a very quiet day. The service was fine. The atmosphere is quite nice, only the tables are a bit sticky. Uncomfortable when laying on your arms. The tapas were small, compared to other Spaniards, and expensive. They are also carelessly prepared. With a mixed tapas sheet, everything that has to go is obviously served. Several tapas flowed together. The anchovies were very dry. In my opinion, Ole Madrid is not one of the best Spanish restaurants in Munich.

Unfortunately the food was nothing, the paella rice was completely overcooked and bazy, the fish in it was dry and it also tasted very bland. Unfortunately, the beef in the fajitas was so tough that it was almost impossible to eat. Only the tapas at the table (gambas with garlic and potatoes with alioli) tasted very good. The service was friendly, but a bit overwhelmed. The atmosphere is very cozy and rustic, but our table also stuck. We would have expected much more for the price. It's a shame actually, I was really looking forward to the evening.

Spanish food and atmosphere as it should be. Tappas, paella (the best in town), Spanish wines, other traditional and delicious Spanish dishes. I really enjoy coming here. Again and again and now for 13 years.

The store is not too big and pleasantly dense and crowded - you probably won't find much more Madrid in cool Munich. Our 'tourist platter' (mixed tapas) was by no means the cliché and was varied, of high quality and extremely rich - the wonderfully fresh lentil salad deserves special mention. Only our wine (carafe, but not the actual house wine) did not meet our expectations of Spanish roundness and fullness.

It's always disgusting, But here it was particularly disgusting. Sticky tables, dirty toilets. The food was poor and took over 2 hours. Service completely overwhelmed. Ambience, in itself, quite nice. If you like Spanish dancing, there are probably dance performances on Saturdays too!

We had to wait over 2 hours for our food, the starter didn't come at all. The food was poor! While waiting for our food we sat with a bottle of water and a coke that we had ordered first. No apology from staff. When billing, tapas that were not served should be charged. We definitely can't recommend it

Very friendly and professional service. Large selection e.g. tapas plate for €22. Fried fish tasted good. Desserts are rather medium. Flamenco only on Saturdays. Chiperones also great.

The two of us were there to fortify ourselves before the cinema. We didn't make a reservation but still got a table. The location is okay. Like a normal bar or something similar... I noticed it was pretty dark. The staff were relatively friendly. What was relatively disgusting was that the table was stuck. The food was quite expensive but okay. I would have expected different prices for the location.

It was stressful because card payments are only possible from 25 euros.. we just wanted to drink a wine... what a shame... Should be normal, right???

A wonderful Spanish restaurant in a cozy bodega style. Both the tapas and the other dishes are extremely tasty and perfectly prepared. Unusual specials such as bacalao (cod) are regularly advertised in the restaurant. The drinks are also all of high quality. Wolfra juices, excellent wines, exclusive spirits. The service is always impeccable. Fast, very attentive but at the same time subtle and unobtrusive. On Saturdays you can also enjoy real, un-kitsch flamenco (unfortunately not currently due to Corona). One of my absolute favorite restaurants.

The food took an incredibly long time (about 70 minutes) and we can't pay by card, only cash or Paypal, isn't it suspicious??? Tax office?

Terribly loud place with overpriced prices. Five mini dates with bacon for almost 8 euros! Four mini slices of baguette for 4.10 euros! Even the nice staff can't make up for that. We won't come here anymore.

Waren das erste Mal hier hatten auch Reserviert was man auch machen sollte.Das essen war von guter Qualität und auch geschmacklich 😋 sehr gut, wenn man eine Paella möchte wird man darauf hingewiesen das es ca.eine halbe Stunde dauert da sie frisch zubereitet wird was uns nicht störte da wir sowieso ein paar Tapas als Vorspeise nahmen.Das Personal ist sehr höflich und aufmerksam.Was wir sehr empfehlen können ist der Sangria 🍹. Werden wenn wir wieder in München sind auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Randomly walked into this restaurant absolutely starving and we were treated to a delicious and generous meal, and mid way through it, a surprise performance of flamenco by two stunning dancers! It was an incredible experience and a real treat 😁 The service and all the staff were fabulous and I highly recommend!

Viel zu teuer. Essen war nicht gut. Der Chef reagiert schlecht auf Kritik. Ich würde niemanden empfehlen hier zu essen.

Wir hatten ein Mal Paella und drei mal fahnitas bestellt. Die Paella war ok, die 3 fajitas waren dermaßen versalzen, dass wir das der Bedienung mitgeteilt haben. Dire Aussage vom Koch war, dass des an der Soße lag und ok sei. Obwohl ich der Bedienung angeboten habe, der Koch soll die Soße probieren, wollte er nicht. Wir haben alle drei nach der Hälfte aufhören mussten. Es gab weder eine Entschuldigung noch einen Preisnachlass. Wir werden nicht mehr hingehen und das an alle freimitteilen.

Ayer reserve una mesa para cenar esta noche a las 20,me dijeron que la reserva estaba hecha correctamente,hoy cuando llegó me dicen que no hay mesa y que está cerrado .......nos dejaron sin cenar.....así que si quieren un consejo no se molesten en reservar en esta basura de sitio porque hacen caso omiso a las reservas.....tienen el Español o la taberna flamenca es Ostbanhof que por lo menos si reservas te atienden

Die Einrichtung war altbacken. Die Bedienung freundlich und das Essen ok. Die Wartezeiten jedoch zu hoch. Am Schluss noch der Hinweis, dass nicht mit Karte bezahlt werden kann.

Die Tapas waren eher klein und mit je 7,50 für den Wirt gut kalkuliert. Die Qualität war ok, mehr nicht. Pro Person gab es zwei sehrdünne und trockene Scheibchen Baguette. Die Bitte nach etwas Brot wurde prompt erfüllt und erschien später mit 3,50 auf der Rechnung. Das nenne ich dreist. Definitiv unser letzter Besuch.

Desagradable, tardía, agria comida. Fuimos con reserva ya que el día anterior nos había atendido un español muy amable y servicial. Pero ese día la jefa era una alemana muy desagradable que no nos quiso ni entregar factura y además nos exigió el pago en efectivo. Me pareció que el dinero se lo guardaría ella.

Das Essen war okay, aber keine kulinarische Leistung. Leider wurde der 3 für 2 Tapas Gutschein nicht anerkannt. Zahlung war nur möglich in bar oder über paypal. Bei paypal wurden wir dann gebeten, die family and friends Zahlung auszuwählen….

Accogliente, si mangia bene e personale simpatico. Sia il cameriere brasiliano, sia il proprietario spagnolo. Birra buona. Prezzi più bassi degli altri in zona. Porzioni abbondanti. Consigliate le tapas e soprattutto Los pimientos de Padron.

Olé Madrid fue un buen lugar para estar, comer y disfrutar con amigos. Tienen varias tapas, los precios son un poco caros. Pero la comida está buena y el emplatado de algunos platos es muy elegante. El espacio es acogedor, tienen un tablao flamenco 💃 donde bailan los sábados. Los camareros muy amables y atentos. No aceptan tarjeta 💳 de crédito pero espero que en un futuro sí. El Restaurante en general es espacioso, limpio y ponen música muy chula, como no, española. Me lo pasé muy bien, lo recomiendo 100%. Gracias por vuestra hospitalidad Olé Madrid!

Wir waren beruflich in München und sind auf diesen Spanier gestoßen. Die Bedienung war unfassbar freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Essen war hervorragend, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Das Ambiente wie es sein sollte und die Cocktails waren super lecker!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank für den schönen Abend bei euch!!!!!

Seit ca. 10 Jahren besuche ich mit meinen Geschäftspartnern dieses Lokal. Es ist immer eine Empfehlung wert, doch dieses mal, alles anders. Los geht es mit dem Getränk. Die Sangria wurde ohne Orangen, Äpfel etc. serviert. Stattdessen waren Heidel-, Johannis- und Himbeeren drin. Von den vier bestellten Tapas wurde eine Tapas doppelt an unseren Tisch gebracht, diese gehörten an den Nachbartisch. Kann passieren. Nun kamen unsere Tapas, statt vier wurden nur drei serviert. Die vierte wurde nach einiger Wartezeit angemahnt. Stattdessen kamen die Hauptgerichte, die wir wegen der fehlenden Vorspeise erst einmal zurück gehen ließen. Nachdem die letzte Vorspeise serviert und verzehrt war, kamen die Hauptgerichte. Der Fleischgrillteller war in Ordnung. Der Seehecht vom Grill meines Kollegen wurde nach 2 - 3 Bissen zurückgehen lassen. Er war sehr trocken und zäh. Die Sauberkeit der Tische ließ zu Wünschen übrig, die Tische klebten. Wir werden es noch einmal wieder versuchen, aber es muss sich ordentlich gesteigert werden. Sehr schade.

Super leckeres Essen! Hatten die große Tapasplatte für 2 Personen, da wären locker 3 oder 4 von satt geworden 😊 leider nur bar Zahlung möglich, aber wenn mans weiß kein Problem. Unbedingt reservieren!

Alles sehr gut - Essen und Service. Wir waren spät da, halb 10 abends und wurden nett empfangen - der Laden war ziemlich voll. Das Essen, ein paar Tapas kamen schnell und waren gut, der Wein auch. Also unsere Empfehlung hat der Laden!

Bei 8 Leuten wurden 4 Speisekarten ausgeben, Bestellung falsch aufgenommen, Vorpseise vergessen, zuerst Hauptgericht dann Vorspeise gebracht...usw. Im Lokal waren noch 4 andere Tische besetzt.....also nicht wirklich viel los....trotzdem hat alles ziemlich lange gedauert.

35 minutos para la carta, 1 hora para dos montaditos horribles, 2 tapas y un pescado que debio venir con ensalada. Nunca nos trajerom la segunda bebida que pedimos antes que llegara la comida. Atencion horrible, maleducados, gritones, un destrato.

Boquerones bestellt Statt dessen Krebse Schenkel bekommen, auf meinen Kommentar das wir es nicht bestellt hätten, kam die Aussage der Bedienung Sie hätten ja keine Boquerones mehr, dafür bekommen wir was anderes! wir hatten als Vorspeise verschiedene Tapas bestellt, Tortilla de Patata, Calamares a la Romana, Croquetas de Jamon , Gegrilte Artischocken und die Boquerones ( Die es nicht mehr gab, und dafür die Krebse Schenkel bekamen) Als Hauptspeise Paelle mixta für zwei Personen, und Paella Vegetariana für zwei. Die Tapas waren miserabel sehr schlechte Qualität, Die Artischocken waren sehr Stark versalzen, ungenießbar! Die tortilla würde ich nicht mal einen Hund geben, die war wahrscheinlich schon ein paar Tage alt, auch ungenießbar. die Calamares waren auch versalzen und sehr kleine Ringe, ich bezweifle es sehr das es sich um Tintenfische gehandelt hat. Und die Croquetas waren nicht Hausgemacht, waren gefroren und Maschinell hergestellt. Die Paellas waren normaler Durchschnitt, ein guter Kenner von paellas würde die als sehr schlecht bezeichnen. Der preis für dies alles mit einer Flasche Wein und 2 Flaschen Wasser für vier Personen 150€ Für mich hat der Koch keine Ahnung vom Kochen und der Spanischen Küche! ich kann wirklich nicht verstehen wie hier die guten Bewertungen zustande gekommen sind. Was es uns anbelangt, werden wir mit Sicherheit dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen. Und möchten jeden davon warnen da hinzugehen. Das ist kein Spanier!!!

Die Bedienung (Kelnerin) war an dem Tag echt das letzte. Zuerst lange Wartezeit obwohl nur ca. 6-7 Tische besetzt und dann noch frech bis es nie mehr geht.

Herzlich und professionell sind wir mit sehr leckerenTapas versorgt worden. Abseits vom Touristenrummel haben wir das Restaurant entdeckt und kommen bestimmt wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal in München sind.
