Fantastic location, but a bitter culinary disappointment The direct lakeside location of this restaurant is really impressive and promises a special ambience. We had high expectations after the many positive Google reviews and were fortunately able to reserve a table outside at short notice. The service was quick, but seemed rather distant and unengaged, even though the outdoor area was not overcrowded with only 5 tables. The biggest disappointment, however, was the mixed tapas platter for two people for €60. For this considerable sum we expected a rich, tasty selection of Spanish specialties. Instead we were served with an extremely skimpy portion: just 2 small albondigas, 6 mussels (two of them unopened) in the same sauce, a handful of unseasoned fried mushrooms, 5 tasteless cold mini prawns in oil, 6 small slices of chorizo, 2 small scallops and 4 mini fried peppers. The price-performance ratio was absolutely not there, and the culinary quality was disproportionate to the largely positive reviews. The dishes were not only disappointing in terms of portion size, but also tasteless and carelessly prepared. We can only explain this discrepancy from the predominantly good reviews by saying that we may have had a bad day. However, consistent quality is crucial, especially for one-time guests like us - especially at this price level. Conclusion: Unfortunately, the fantastic location cannot compensate for the considerable culinary deficiencies. Definitely not a recommendation for lovers of authentic Spanish cuisine who are happy to pay well for good quality.

We had dinner at Cosimo's again. Already in November we have a table for 4 people. reserved. Unfortunately the reservation wasn't recorded in the book and the boss got quite stressed. But he was still able to organize a table for us. Once again we ate divinely, drank fine wine and enjoyed a very good brandy at the end. It's a shame, the restaurant is very far away from us, otherwise we would be here more often. Now we're making a weekend out of it each. A + K from Worb 🇨🇭

We were really looking forward to this visit because we love eating tappas. The restaurant is quite nice. Very small but cozy. But unfortunately the food didn't convince us. On the one hand, we found the prices to be quite high. Charging 18.90 euros for a vegetable plate with some sheep's cheese is quite a lot. Unfortunately, the Mojo Rojo for 4.90 euros was not homemade, it came from the glass that is also sold in the store and was simply refilled. We also find 9.80 euros for piementos to be quite expensive. It doesn't take much effort to prepare. The chorizo in red wine was cut extremely thin, which is why it was quite dry, but €12.90 is also a proud price. We were asked if everything was okay, we mentioned the chorizo, that we usually know it cut a little thicker, and the question immediately came: Where? We answered "e.g. in Spain" and the answer was "We are in Germany". Sorry, but such a stroppy, unfriendly answer to a guest is not acceptable. You immediately had the feeling that negative information was not wanted at all. We also found the behavior towards other guests to be very borderline. A passerby came in and asked if he could use the toilet. The answer was no. Even when I asked again, I simply received a no in a very unfriendly tone. There is another way. We were also surprised about the cleaning. As soon as we were standing, the table was re-set, but before that we just wiped it with a quick hand. We neither enjoyed it nor felt welcome as guests. It also contributed to the fact that the boss had a certain arrogant aura towards the guests. Nevertheless, we were kind enough to give a tip. But we definitely won't be coming back.

The change in operator is clearly noticeable. We've eaten here several times, but were unfortunately disappointed last time. As soon as we arrived, we were pointed out the digital menu, which can be accessed using a QR code. What you think of this digitalization remains to be seen, but with the Internet in Pforzheim city center you won't get very far. The waiter, who was trying hard, offered us WiFi straight away, but he then disappeared. The service in general is very expandable. You have to wait forever to order food and the communication between waiter and guest was anything but smooth. The food wasn't convincing either. If it wasn't frozen, then it was full of ready-made sauces. Apart from the lack of a Mediterranean touch - for example the prawns in garlic, which hardly tasted like garlic. The selection of tapas has been radically reduced compared to before. The ambience is nice, one star deducted because the space right next to the kitchen wasn't that pleasant. All in all, it's a shame because you would hope for something different from a tapas restaurant!
