A bit expensive. Same prices as in Switzerland. A man with long hair. He was always standing and watching all the customers and staff. I felt uncomfortable.

Very cost atmosphere. The lunch menu is fantastic (very tasty and good looking). I will definitely come back when possible!

The food was quite good, but there could have been a few more side dishes. The main course is just enough to fill you up.

Always a special experience. Very friendly hostess, good staff, very fine food, specially prepared and brought to the table. We feel very comfortable in this Spanish restaurant.

I've rarely had such a good meal. The steak was really good. Prices aren't cheap, but I'd rather pay €2 more for good quality. If you think it's too expensive, you can always go to the kebab shop around the corner... The service was absolutely friendly. I can't imagine how anyone could feel differently. The entire staff was polite and attentive. My highlight: Instead of croquettes, they accidentally served me spaghetti with my steak. The spaghetti was also good, by the way. When I pointed out the mistake, they immediately brought me the croquettes. Even though I hadn't asked for them. THAT'S customer service! I hope I'll be back!

Lovely restaurant in a good location with a beautiful view of the lake. Friendly service. A slight point deduction for being a bit over-enthusiastic and a bit hectic. Authentic, delicious, high-quality cuisine. Pricey, but largely justified. Good portion sizes. Not for every day, but recommended.

We are big tapas lovers and have visited many tapas restaurants. Unfortunately, this restaurant disappointed us: -Tapas: OK, but not good value for money. -Paella: had the consistency of a soup. >Complaint: Not taken seriously, no apology, no solution. -Service: Even though we didn't eat the paella, we weren't even offered a small compensation like a shot of schnapps on the house. Conclusion: Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience for us – the value for money isn't right at all.

Four of us were there for lunch on Sunday, September 28, 2025 – without a reservation – and were lucky enough to get the last available table. The service, ambiance, and food: all excellent! Thank you!

We were here for lunch. The mixed tapas platter was plentiful, and the main course was also very tasty. The meat was cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back 🤤

We were on vacation in Radolfzell and stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant by chance. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were lucky enough to get a table. It's always fully booked, and that's no surprise. The service is fantastic, and the food is simply divine. We had seafood paella; we've rarely had such excellent food.

Great restaurant with a super friendly team! The pleasant ambiance matches the Spanish style of the cuisine. Unfortunately, due to the cool temperatures, only one table was available on the terrace. As a result, the parillada cooled quickly – and the shrimp were unfortunately considerably overcooked. But if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely reserve a table inside!

One evening turned into three: Inconspicuously located behind the yacht club, you'll find wonderful hosts, outstanding Spanish cuisine, and great wines on a stunning terrace right on the lake. But the interior is also cozy and inviting. Best of all, the people who work here love their jobs! It couldn't be better.

What can I say? I rarely go out to eat because I'm often just not attracted to something, or the food disappoints me more than I enjoy it. But here... It was amazing! The location, the staff, the food, everything was just perfect. I haven't been this impressed in a long time, and I can only warmly recommend a visit here to everyone!

We're from Kaufbeuren and visited "La Oliva" in Radolfzell on Lake Constance during the Whitsun holidays – and we were absolutely thrilled! A very pleasant atmosphere, super friendly staff, excellent service, and above all: the food was incredibly delicious. We had a wonderful evening and can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant!

Completely exorbitant prices that don't justify the quality. The Galician king prawns weren't cooked properly. Scallops drowned in olive oil. Fish fillet was bland and flavorless. Monkfish fillet was overcooked. For me, coming from the gastronomy scene, this is definitely not worthy of GaultMilieu. The chef has no manners and is very unfriendly to guests. He seems overwhelmed, and you're turned away at the door with a raised hand. You can also see that he's bossy. He has absolutely no manners towards customers. I certainly won't be coming back.

Eim toller Abend mit einer aussergewöhnlichen Fischplatte / Wein Was soll ich sagen ….. von der Reservierung, über den Aufenthalt im La Oliva, bis zur Verabschiedung einfach nur MEGA! die letzte Bewertung habe ich geschrieben, als das La Oliva noch in den alten Räumlichkeiten war . Ich finde es an der Zeit nochmal zu berichten : Wir hatten zeitig reserviert und wurden herzlich empfangen, mit der Frage, ob wir drinnen oder draußen sitzen möchten. Wir wurden dann zum Tisch begleitet und in kürzester Zeits servierte die aufmerksame Servi ce die Getränke. Für die Weinempfehlung wurde sich richtig Zeit genommen, dafür noch mal danke. Wir bestellten die Fischplatte für zwei Personen und waren überwältigt. Alles perfekt zubereitet auf den Punkt gegart. Das Dessert für zwei Personen, war der Knaller. Das la Oliva hat eigentlich mehr wie fünf Sterne verdient….. Man merkt, dass man Gast ist und das Team vom la Oliva mit Herzblut dabei ist

Unfortunately, my visit to La Oliva was disappointing. The staff seemed unfriendly and stressed, which unfortunately also affected the service. The wait for our food was unusually long, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The food tasted rather mediocre – some of the tapas were lukewarm and poorly presented. I expected much more for the high prices. While the atmosphere is generally nice, the hectic pace and lack of hospitality spoil the overall experience. Unfortunately, I can't recommend La Oliva and will prefer other options in Radolfzell in the future.

We'd love to come back. We really enjoyed it and it tasted great. We were able to sit on the terrace, and it felt like a day on vacation.

A dream location, but a bitter culinary disappointment This restaurant's direct lakeside location is truly impressive and promises a special ambiance. We had high expectations after reading the many positive Google reviews and were fortunately able to reserve an outdoor table at short notice. The service was prompt, but seemed rather distant and unengaged, even though the outdoor area wasn't crowded with only five tables. The biggest disappointment, however, was the mixed tapas platter for two people, priced at €60. For this considerable sum, we expected a rich, flavorful selection of Spanish specialties. Instead, we were served an extremely meager portion. The value for money was absolutely not there, and the culinary quality bore no relation to the largely positive reviews. The dishes were not only disappointing in terms of portion size, but also lacked flavor and were poorly prepared. We can only explain this discrepancy with the predominantly positive reviews by possibly having a bad day. However, consistent quality is crucial, especially for one-time guests like us – especially at this price point. Conclusion: The stunning location unfortunately cannot compensate for the significant culinary shortcomings. Definitely not recommended for lovers of authentic Spanish cuisine who are happy to pay a lot for good quality.

Menu leaves little to be desired. In addition, all of our special requests were implemented in an extremely friendly and courteous manner. And that wasn't exactly a small number, as our guests are very difficult :-). Seriously: it was great! I would particularly like to highlight the service and the wines, although you can get such excellent open wines here! This is rare. Overall: highly recommended!

We had the great pleasure of visiting La Oliva Restaurant in Radolfzell with a group of 9 people and it was simply fantastic! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly staff. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was incredibly quick and extremely attentive. We felt we were well looked after at all times, which is not a given in a full house. The ambience of the restaurant is simply great. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger longer and feel good. It's clear that a lot of attention is paid to details here to ensure guests have an all-round pleasant experience. The food was an absolute highlight. The dishes were not only served very quickly, but were also extremely tasty. You can tell that the cooking here is made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. Everyone in our group was completely thrilled - whether starter, main course or dessert, everything was perfectly coordinated. A big congratulations to the entire team at La Oliva! We will definitely come back and can fully recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the great evening!

The move was good for La Oliva. Right on the lake, nice atmosphere - the restaurant is small but nice. The waitresses are very attentive and friendly. There is a very tasty “Greetings from the Kitchen", we ordered prawns, steak and fish. Everything was very tasty and attractively prepared. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth it. We will definitely come back in spring/summer to sit on the terrace.

I was pleasantly surprised by the great service and high quality food. For the main course I had the beef fillet prepared according to the house style. What can I say, it was so perfect, delicious, tender, great flavors, you have to try it even though it was very high priced. A pleasure!

Wir sind spontan über dieses Restaurant "gestolpert". Es hat sich sehr gelohnt, auf einen Platz zu warten. Wir wurden zuvorkommend empfangen. Auch wenn wir zur späten Zeit keine Riesenmahlzeit mehr gewählt haben, wurden wir überaus freundlich beraten und bedient. Das Essen war köstlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Unser erster Besuch in diesem Restaurant, geboren aus der Not der einfallslosen und stark Convenience lastigen Küche unseres naheliegenden Hotels zu entfliehen. Gut, dass wir diese Not hatten denn es wurde uns daraus ein phantastischer Abend geboren. Trotz ausgebuchtem Restaurant wurden wir noch untergebracht, die Dame des Hauses ging mehr als löblich, zuvorkommend und unsere Wünsche vorausahnend auf uns ein. Die Küche überzeugte mit einer Tapasplatte die qualitativ und geschmacklich ausgezeichnet war. Weiterhin mit der Meeresfrüchte Platte die keine Wünsche offen lies. Neben krabbelfrischem Hummel, Kaisergranat und den üblichen Verdächtigen bis hin zum Pulpo - alles maximal frisch, auf den Punkt gegart und aromatisch zubereitet. Einfach perfekt! Lediglich die Kugel Vanilleeis zur Creme Catalan hätte besser sein können da „grisselig“ und irgendwie arm an Geschmack sowie wässrig. Auf mein Anmerken hin eine sehr souveräne Reaktion mit Dank für‘s Aufmerksam machen, dem Eingeständnis dessen, dass ein Mangel vorlag und keiner Verrechnung des Desserts. Vorbildlich! Ach ja, nicht zu vergessen - die Champagner Karte überzeugte uns maximal. Dom Perignion und weitere große Genüsse so nahe am Einkaufspreis wie ich es noch nirgendwo zuvor in einem Restaurant gesehen habe. Bei so viel Glück auf einmal mussten wir direkt bestellen. Beide Flaschen wurden tadellos serviert, gut gekühlt und fachfraulich geöffnet. Schön auch, dass weder Tischfeuerwerk dran hing, noch die Star Wars Melodie überlaut aus den Lautsprechern dröhnte; nein…alles ganz dezent und ohne großes Aufsehen. Nicht so überzogen wie in manchen Schicki-Micki Läden dieser Welt. Der Cardinal Mendoza wurde uns stilecht präsentiert, so wie es sich gehört, auch da blieb kein Wunsch offen. Auf‘s Haus gab es dann noch einen Grappa guter Qualität und diesen leckeren Melonen-Likör. Zuletzt: das Interieur kann man mögen, uns jedoch wäre etwas mehr dekorative Klarheit und weniger Tüdelkram lieber gewesen, auch weniger Lautstärke im Gastraum wäre gut, aber das ist nicht essenziell und entscheidend für unseren sehr positiven Gesamteindruck. Unseren herzlichen Dank an die Betreiber, Ihr macht das klasse, bitte weiter so, wir kommen wieder! So geht gute, herzliche und authentische Gastronomie.

I can recommend the restaurant “La Olivia” to anyone who wants to experience something culinary. Everything is really right here, the service is excellent and the food is simply delicious. The host takes incredibly friendly care of his guests. We'll definitely be back.

The vegetarian selection is limited. Patatas Bravas were essentially fried fries that were served as if they were a child's plate of fries with ketchup. Unfortunately, my dish only came after my companions had finished their meal, even though it was only bruschetta. Duese were also untoasted, soggy and tasteless. All in all, rather disappointing and overrated. Plus it's far too expensive. However, the ambience is very nice with a view of the lake. Unfortunately it doesn't make up for the below-average food... What a shame!

An authentic Mediterranean restaurant in the best lakeside location in Radolfzell with a very charming boss...

We expected the minced meatballs and batatas bravas to taste better - they definitely tasted better at the old location. Prices have also become noticeably more expensive (in our opinion, unsatisfactory price-performance ratio). However, the ambience with a view of the lake and service was excellent. The greeting of the house was definitely the best part of the tapas starter meal.

Zum ersten Mal da und mal das Mittagsmenu probiert: hervorragend! Sogar eine kleine, aber sehr feine Crema Catalana kam als Abschluss daher. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Tüpfelchen auf dem "i", Stoffservietten, bei einem Mittagsmenu (3-4 Variationen) von € 17 - 25, hallo! Wir kommen wieder und gerne, keine Frage.

Wir waren zu sechst da, hatten länger schon vorbestellt und haben einen wunderbaren Abend gehabt. Ein Tapas Vorspeisenteller gab den Starter, das war schon sehr lecker. Die Bedienung meinte zwar einer für 6 wäre zu klein, da wir danach aber allen einen großen Hauptgang wählten, war es die richtige Entscheidung. Danach gab es Neeresfrüchtesalat, Paella (Meeresfrüchte satt) und ein wunderbares Filet Mignon begleitet von wunderbaren Weinen u.a. Baron de Ley Rotwein, megalecker. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Und wir saßen direkt am Wasser, wunderschön - dafür müsste es noch einen extra Stern geben.

I've eaten at la Olivia several times. So far it has always been great, this time the entrecote was not medium rare as ordered, but rather too well done and a bit tough. It also took quite a long time for the food to come to the table. The new location by the lake is very nice, the staff is very friendly. My criticism of the entrecote was taken seriously and the staff tried very hard to put things right - I found the service professional and they also wanted us to leave the restaurant satisfied, which was also the case from our side.

So first of all, the new restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the view outside on the terrace is fantastic. The service is top. Very friendly and accommodating. But unfortunately the food doesn't live up to the expectations that the prices create. When it comes to steaks, for example, the cooking points are unfortunately always mediocre. And I've eaten steaks there several times. Pasta dishes are good but not as good as the price suggests. The dip sauces that come with the bread as an amuse gueule are really great. I suspect that the typical Spanish dishes, the antipasti plates, etc., are certainly very tasty, but the high prices simply put me off for an antipasti plate. That's why I haven't tried it yet. I would recommend describing the new restaurant a little better from the street. There is a sign on the street, but you are unsure when you walk in because it is inconspicuous at first.

We used to often visit the previous location. Since then, the quality of the food has deteriorated somewhat, the portions have been significantly reduced and the prices have increased. The service used to be better too. We are extremely disappointed...

I've been there twice now. And the experience was the same both times. The location is great. The service is tried hard, but overwhelmed. Accordingly, you wait far too long for one thing or another. The starters are good but overpriced. And the main courses, I ate steak once and fish once, are not only overpriced, but also not of good quality. The steak was tough and the fish was tasteless. We paid €60-70 per person each time and you can just expect a lot more.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit sehr feinem Essen. Ebenso der Mittagstisch war ausgezeichnet. (Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Dessert) Man sitzt wunderschön direkt am See, abends eine Mückenmittel nicht vergessen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

War schon besser....Gefühl wie auf dem Abstellgleis....Vorrangig wurde wohl nach anderen Gästen gesehen ...vermutlich Art VIP Betreuung mancher auf Kosten anderer ...wir warteten über 2 Std auf unsere Hauptspeisen...dann kamen nicht einmal alle gleichzeitig.......nach dem Salat kam weder noch ein Getränk noch ein Hinweis, dass es dauere.....schade. Die Sitzgelegenheiten müssten bei den langen Wartezeiten in jedem Falle bequemer sein...Das geht auch am See besser ....
