Very nice and cozy restaurant. The waiter was very kind and try to speak either spanish/italian with us :) the food was fullfilling because we ordered a lot of tapas, but in general a bit overpriced. Still giving 5*

Beautiful indoor and outdoor area in the middle of Freiburg. Great place to enjoy a good selection of tapas in the evening with delicious red wine. My favorite was the squid dishes.

After a busy day we fancied some seafood for dinner. This appeared to be the closest thing so popped in. It was a very busy/dynamic setting and the usual tapas sort of prices. The menu I'm sure stated the paella was for 4 people but when we saw a trio have this we asked for the same. While we waited some dry bread was given to us. When the food arrived the one prawn was delicious and monstrous in size, as was the mussel. The chicken drumstick was tasty but that and everything else was not very hot. The rice was interlaced with greens and calamri and a little mushy but flavours okay. Overall it was okay and service was attentive albeit a language barrier.

The nice waiter on the lower floor deserves 5 stars. Despite a lot of work, he is nice, hardworking and relaxed. Food not exactly cheap but very tasty. Kind regards from the Brazilian-Polish community:)

Food is OK but nothing special, especially simple dishes like Papas Alioli or Bravas are way too expensive, as are the drinks (Tinto de Verano 6.80, large cola 6 euros, bottle of water 7.50). Vegan selection is relatively small, noticeably small for Freiburg. The service has a lot to do, but you could still ask, for example what size drink you want. The largest variant is generously used here. We actually had a table that was too small for the group, there are a lot of people in a small space...that makes the atmosphere relatively loud, but actually a suitable ambience for a tapas bar.

The food here was super tasty. The service was fast. I just felt that they could have spoken to us more kindly, also because they could see that we were tourists. So more helpful. The tapas were delicious and very affordable. Definitely worth coming here to eat once.

In summer just a touch of Spain in Freiburg🤩, super delicious tapas, menus and drinks, table reservations recommended. Closes at 10 p.m. as outdoor seating in the city center area is completely acceptable. Toilet in the basement in the restaurant, not accessible to people with limited mobility.

An institution in Freiburg’s old town. It's nice to go there, meet up with friends or take a really nice break with your partner! And when it's not just the Tinto or Rosato de la Casa that makes you happy, but even more so the dishes from the daily menu, meat or fish, absolutely surprise the palate with such excellently prepared cuisine!!! Wow, it couldn't be better. Bravo, big praise! Hopefully the Casa will still remain with its professional service for a long time as it is. Today, July 25, 2024, great again!! We had pike-perch cordon bleu (15.99) and roast suckling pig with savoy cabbage (13.99), freshly prepared and a real culinary delight! (Price performance++++) I am always again enthusiastic about the dishes on the daily menu! It's just consistently beautiful.

All food was great! We sat inside due to reservations only at 6:30pm.

The best Spanish restaurant ever.

I used to love the Casa. But now quite disappointed. It's still very nice to sit outside, but this time the calamari, which used to be always great, was very doughy, the patatas were greasy, and overall the food was poor, but the prices are slowly going through the roof.

Actually expected a little more. Especially when it comes to seafood. In terms of quality, these weren't really acceptable. Since others in Freiburg can do this, it would be desirable to pay a little more attention to quality. Unfortunately they were also a bit raw. Not really grilled nicely. Meat was okay. Service is great.

We spontaneously visited last Friday. The super nice waiter immediately assigned us a free outside table. The last one, mind you. The store was full. Everything worked fine. The entire service team worked hand in hand. Tapas were very good, as expected. Ambience great in summer temperatures in the evening. Price performance is definitely good. Nice conversation at the end of the visit with the waiter. GREAT We ​​would love to come back

You can bring a little bit of Spain to the table and enjoy the evening. Original: Interesting location, you sit pleasantly secluded from the KaJo and don't notice anything about it. Always very crowded on Saturdays. Large menu with many different delicious tapas and Waldhaus beer. Sympathetic and friendly waiter who is always on his toes!

Food is good and identical. Smells a little like kitchen grease in the restaurant and the clothes take on a taste. Service could also have a laugh.

The kind of restaurant where you would be served pork even after we explicitly said that we do not eat pork. The manager was informed but no action was taken. Respect for religion and culture is a must. Unfortunately, we were served a dish containing pork, knowing that we made it clear from the beginning that we do not eat pork. An original. In 25 years of going to “Casa E”, always delicious and friendly.

Actually a great Spaniard, unfortunately the prices are very high and it is very, very loud in the lower part of the restaurant. Conversation in a group is hardly possible.

A really bad shop. The food is very mediocre and the prices are terribly high. No allergen list, chili in dishes is not mentioned. When it was pointed out that in Spain a salsa roja is prepared without chili, and that we therefore could not automatically know that the sauce contains chili, the answer came: then go to Spain! This waiter later also shouted at other visitors; perhaps the restaurant should give this waiter some anti-aggression training. Or maybe hire new staff who are no strangers to service and respect for customers.

Wenn man alles zusammen zählt, es ist eigentlich nichts besonderes, die Tapas sind gut, die Weine auch, das Ambiente ist unspektakulär, aber... In Casa läuft die Gastronomie in anderen Dimensionen, es ist auch kein Wunder dass man kein Platz bekommt, aber es ist auch kein Wunder dass man vielleicht doch ein kleinen Platz an der Theke oder an einem geteilten Tisch ergattert... Es ist voll, laut, eng, aber freundlich und irgendwie sehr geborgen und wenn man in Casa doch am Ende an einem Stuhl sitzt und dann die anderen von dem Platzt anschaut, fühlt man sich sehr zufrieden, fast glücklich. Dann bestellt man ein Rotwein z. B. Ribera del Duero und der Abend kann beginnen...

Local para degustar tapas y raciones de comida española en Friburgo. Cuando llevas unos días por la zona, se agradecen los sabores que te acercan a casa. La única pega que encontré fueron las albóndigas: era la primera vez que comía albóndigas con orégano. La tarta de almendras con helado de cereza estaba buenísima.

Das Ambiente hat mir persönlich leider nicht so zugesagt. Viel negativer Empfand ich allerdings, dass ich mit meinen Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten so gut wie nichts essen konnte. Zuvor hat meine Firma angefragt, ob Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten berücksichtigt werden, dies wurde mit ja beantwortet. Am Ende konnte ich dann gerade Mal 3 Tapas essen. Anfangs wurde noch das Angebot gemacht falls es zu wenig sei extra etwas mit Linsen zu machen, auf spätere Nachfrage was es noch gäbe wurde das nicht mehr erwähnt. Ebenfalls negativ Empfand ich einen Scherz der Bedienung, nachdem ich meine Unverträglichkeiten benannt hatte, dass ich doch zu MC Donalds gehen solle. Das was ich essen konnte war durchaus lecker, aber nichts besonderes.

Das Essen und das Ambiente waren sehr gut. Wir sind im Keller in einer großen Runde gesessen.

Irgendwie kommt das spanische Lebensgefühl hier nicht zu 100% rüber. Das Ambiente ist etwas nüchtern und lieblos. Die Tapas sind ok, Preise allerdings sehr hoch. Es ist sehr schwer hier einen Tisch zu bekommen, das Restaurant ist praktisch nie telefonisch erreichbar.

Wir gehen seit 30 Jahren in die Casa. Ist wie Zuhause, nur komisch, dass wir bezahlen müssen.

Sehr gemütlicher Ort, Sehr nettes Personal. Ein guter Ort, um einen Wein zu trinken und „Tapas“ zu teilen

Frisch zubereitete Tapas in bester Qualität. Also größere Gruppe hatten wir eine bunte Auswahl nach Lust der Küche bestellt und uns überraschen lassen. Hervorragende Oliven, Gambas in Öl, Tintenfisch in verschiedenen Zubereitungen, Käse und Wurst, Fisch und Fleisch, Gemüse für die Vegetarier... perfekt. Der ausgewählte Weißwein harmonierte sehr gut. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Yo como española, considero que la comida cumple los estándares. Me he sentido como en casa!!!! A partir de ahora esto queda categorizado como la nueva Embajada Española en Freiburg. Volvería sin dudarlo!!!

Tudo delicioso! Experimentei cogumelos no alho, tortilha de batata, croquete de espinafre e pimentos de padrão. Muitas opções vegetarianas, excelente, gostei muito.

Einfach zu laut, zu eng, essen bei Tappas ok, aber Paelia sehr schlecht, der Reis ist matschig und ohne safran, dann ein Hühnerschlegel, eine Miesmuschel und eine Garnele. Sehr sparsam....dafür ist es zu teuer und zuhause bekomme ich das genauso hin.

Die verschiedenen Tapas waren sehr lecker. Werde bestimmt wieder hingehen.

Comida excelente, típica española, con buen servicio, falta variedad en la carta. Recomiendo la terraza.

Kenne ich lange und bin früher oft und gerne dort Essen gegangen. Aber das Casa hat sich für mich leider nicht positiv entwickelt. Immer voll ja. Eine Institution in Freiburg. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass sie einfach nur feiner kochen. Der Garten ist der Hinterhof einer Schule. Ich habe mein Essen letztens beendet, weil. Ich der Fliegen nicht mehr Herr wurde. Dafür kann das Casa nichts, aber das ist keine Situation für ein gemütliches Gespräch

Ich mags. Klar hab ich schon bessere Tapas gegessen. Ist bisschen Standard hier, aber in Freiburg eine Instanz und man kommt doch immer wieder gerne. Es schmeckt. Manchmal ist extrem viel los und darunter leidet der Service. Doch sind alle nett und freundlich. Ich mags.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und entgegenkommend. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch Wert!

Die Champignons waren sehr ölig aber sonst war der Rest ok, aber nichts besonderes. Die Bedienung hat uns sehr lange warten lassen, bevor die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, hat nicht nachgefragt ob alles ok ist und hat sich nicht bedankt als wir Trinkgeld gegeben haben.

Le restaurant n'a d'espagnol que le nom 😬. Plats type Tapas très chers et en toute petite quantité. Sangria connaît pas...un comble pour un resto espagnol. Il y a plein d'autres choix dans Fribourg à privilégier.

Rice for the price of a true paella! 2 mussels and 2 small calamars in rice for almost 20eur. Service is good, wine is very good but the price are exceeding reason.

In der Gasse der Altstadt. Nette Bedienung und hab noch um 23 Uhr Paella bekommen. Traditionellere Getränke wären schön und etwas geringere Preise.
