Great food at a reasonable price and really pleasant service.
I'll definitely come by again.
The only thing I don't like is the ambience and the toilets in particular could use some updating.
My absolute insider tip! The food and the ambience are simply great. Both the Thai and German cuisine are great. Inside it's very nice. The beer garden is also very cozy and quiet. For groups of 25 or more you can also get an extra buffet.
As part of our hotel stay, we had an excellent 3-course meal on one of the evenings, which was optimally prepared and very attractively presented. Incompatibilities were easily taken into account.
Very good value for money for the drinks.
Attentive, friendly service.
We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning of our stay - we particularly liked the regional products and the excellent range of bread (from the regional baker - no baked goods). A small point of criticism: when there is a lot of occupancy, a coffee machine is decidedly not enough - this shortcoming was offset somewhat by the service staff offering filter coffee in thermoses as an alternative.
The food was truly outstanding, even as an omnivore, I say it wholeheartedly! Fresh, healthy ingredients, delicious, especially the lasagna! And finally, a restaurant with decent portions. So, it's great value for money.
The staff were very accommodating, and all our special requests were fulfilled!
The atmosphere is bright and very friendly, with a lovely courtyard. Highly recommended!
The meat and fries were raw...I told the waitress...then it was served again, then the fries were still raw and I was so stupid to ask a third time and lost my appetite. . My friend was there and felt the same way!
We were the only customers when we arrived at 6:30 p.m. on a Wednesday evening. You order at the counter, get your drinks from the fridge next to it, and the food is brought to your table later. The wait was short due to the lack of other customers. The quality of the burgers and fries (they were truly delicious, but unfortunately also incredibly high in calories) was nothing to complain about, and the ambiance was okay, fairly modern and rather austere, but something different. The prices for self-service are too high in my opinion: €22.50 for a chorizo burger with a regular portion of chili cheese fries (they also offer a large portion of fries for €11.50, but the regular portion was already quite substantial and generous). By 8:00 p.m., Bagage was quite busy, but you could always find a free table. There are also a few seats available outside on the sidewalk.
For me personally, by far the best kebab in Landau. I bake the bread myself, the meat is always good and the herb sauce is great. In addition, the staff is always friendly and in a good mood. 10/10
