The food was good; I'd definitely go back for a burger. There's no self-service service, so I wouldn't have been surprised if I'd had to wash my plate. The seating wasn't particularly pleasant. It's more of a place for the younger generation, but that's not exactly nice. We (6 people) agreed that next time we'd rather spend our money on something "age-appropriate" with service and a nice location.

I think the ambiance is okay for a burger joint, but not particularly original – average. The "service" consists solely of serving at the table. Order and pay at the counter, take the dishes away yourself, and then you're expected to separate the cutlery and leftovers and stack them neatly on top of the other used dishes. I was so glad I didn't have to wash my own dishes. If we were talking about a cheap place, that would be a different story, but if I'm spending over €20 on a burger, fries, and a drink, I'm happy with a bit of service. Let's get to the food: I thought the burger was okay, but nothing special. The patty was still too red on the inside and could have used more salt and pepper. I felt it was missing something special, a finesse. Otherwise, I can eat a Whopper. The third star goes primarily to the fries. They were hot, crispy, and had a good flavor. If they added a little extra salt, I'd really like it! Conclusion: A lot of money paid for average performance at best - not a recommendation.

Where should I begin? This place is a "difficult" situation. The price-performance ratio of the burger and fries is simply not good. A cheeseburger costs €13 with a regular patty, and you also have to pay at least €4.50 for fries! Outrageous. The burger wasn't even that big, and the currywurst, fries, and mayo were completely lacking in salt. The burger bun was very soggy, and the burger was completely dripping with liquid, which isn't really a bad thing, but when there's that much, it's not really tasty. We're not talking about the drink prices, they're also extremely expensive. Overall, yes, it's a nice place and the dishes are beautifully presented, but personally, I wouldn't come back here. The 3 stars are more like 2.5.

We lived in Landau for almost 4 yrs now and we discovered this burger place. At first we were impressed but as we went today, quality and fries were not the same anymore. The quality has really gone downhill. The patties used to be juicy and flavorful, now they’re dry and bland. The buns taste stale, served to me cold, and the fries are burnt instead of crispy. Service has also slowed down, and it feels like they’re cutting corners everywhere. Really disappointing to see a favorite spot decline like this.

The ambiance is fitting for a student burger restaurant. The service was friendly, as always. Unfortunately, the quality (the food was okay to good) has declined considerably, and the price has gone up. Price increases are okay; it has to remain profitable, after all. But this was pretty tough. On top of that, many good burgers and fries have been discontinued. A real shame. Unfortunately, the appeal of returning has diminished considerably.

I've always been a big fan of Bagage! The food was always delicious, but unfortunately, they've discontinued the chili-sin-carne fries, and in general, it seems to me as if the dishes have been pretty much cut back in recent months to maximize profits. For example, the mushroom cream fries are served with a modified sauce without Parmesan. At the Landau Summer, even though we were sitting inside, they charged €11 for a very small (officially large) portion of cream fries, which was pretty cheeky. Service was very friendly as always. I hope the quality improves again, as we always enjoyed coming here.

The hamburger was completely raw and was sold to me as medium. When I asked for it, I was turned away and treated as stupid for not appreciating "local meat." The staff was very snooty and overpriced.

It was my first time eating there and I wasn't disappointed. The Smash (Cheese) Burger was absolutely delicious, along with the delicious fries and homemade ketchup. I was really pleasantly surprised, as the prices had always put me off visiting before. Now I can say that for the money, it's really fair—there's nothing to complain about. I'll be happy to come back!

The first few times were definitely better. Some of the fries were only lukewarm, and some tasted like they hadn't been in the fryer for the first time. The burger was delicious, but even here, the toppings were more appealing. It was busy that day; it took about 40 minutes from ordering to food. They could have indicated when ordering if there were still a lot of "to-go" dishes waiting. We hope things will improve overall, as we were actually impressed with the shop and the concept.

The store was full and there were definitely not enough staff! Here you have to order your food at the counter and it is then brought to you. We had burgers and currywurst with fries. The fries were very dark and very crispy - I don't like that! The currywurst didn't suit our taste either. And if 4 meals are ordered, they should be ready at the same time. We got three meals and the fourth came when the others were almost finished. This works much better with more staff! The price-performance ratio is not that great for what you get.

Overall, the whole vegan burger is rather boring and small, which is really disappointing for the price. The waiting time was almost 1 hour last time! The fries are ok hence two stars.

We were the only customers when we first arrived at 6:30 p.m. on a Wednesday evening. You order at the counter, get your drinks from the fridge next to it, and the food is brought to your table later. The wait was short due to the lack of other customers. By 8:00 p.m., Bagage was quite busy, but you could always find a free table. There are also a few seats available outside on the sidewalk.

Everything is tip top. Nice people in the shop, burgers are always just good, the fries are delicious and crispy, the selection of drinks is also good. Go there.

I've been to Bagage a long time ago and was put off by the long waiting time despite there being little traffic. I was here again for lunch break and was very impressed. The burger was by far the best I've eaten in a restaurant. The smashed chilli cheese was on point. Waiting time was a lot better this time.

A little overpriced, but delicious.

Went there on a tip from a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Very inconspicuous from the outside and nothing special from the inside. I have to say, I thought the furnishings were pretty modern and cool and something different. It has the style of a diner and not a typical restaurant. I don't think you should go there expecting a normal restaurant. The self-service didn't bother me and I thought the food was very good. The burger was warm and the patty was fried very well, the fries looked dark at first glance but that was deceptive, the taste was completely different from what was expected from the outside in a positive sense. The food was ready quickly after about 5 minutes and was brought to the table. I would recommend that everyone there just get involved in the whole thing and try it out.

We ate at Bagage for the first time. Unfortunately also the last time. The atmosphere was very cold and uncomfortable on the one hand and on the other hand the fries tasted like old shoe soles, the burgers were mostly cold and couldn't be recommended in terms of taste. Unfortunately, I didn't like the restaurant at all. We had to wait a long time (45 minutes), my burger was lukewarm and yet the patty was burnt. It was ordered without tomatoes and of course there were tomatoes on it :)

I was not asked how I want my burger. It was served almost completely raw. I cannot believe this is their default way of cooking the beef! This is wrong in my opinion.

I'm really sorry to say this, but my only highlight was the music in the background. The fries were bland, unseasoned and almost like eating day-old frozen fries from the oven, and some of them were very dark. The burger buns were all cold (no idea if that just came from the cold plate) otherwise okay, the burger patties were fried okay, but also bland, despite different sauces (cheeseburger, bagamole, chili burger). Lime mayo was ok, ketchup was terrible. Atmosphere youthful, somewhat sparse, indie rock in the background. It's self-service, meaning you order at the counter, get a drink from the fridge and clear the table yourself. Service at the counter was normally nice. I find the prices just bitter for what is delivered. The dishes were nice but all in all very disappointing and not worth the money.

House fries in the food truck on the Landau summer were lukewarm and greasy, so catastrophic, but the price was top at €5. Coarse bratwurst in a baguette at least tasted good, but it wasn't hot either. If you can't find staff who can do that, you shouldn't run a food truck, it's not advertising for the burger joint.

About the fries: They taste like old frying fat and were fried twice, i.e. taken out, allowed to cool and fried again. About the burger: It's not just puny, but very puny and unfortunately without any taste. Nothing else to say. To drink: You can't go wrong. About the service: The staff was nice, but the cutlery had to be taken away and sorted yourself. All in all very expensive and disappointing. €50 for nothing. Even packing the fries costs €1. I'd rather go to Burger King.

With half the seating capacity, the kitchen is already overwhelmed! We waited over an hour for our burger. For a single price of €15, I don't think the burger on offer is justified (see picture). The kitchen is unpleasantly noisy (e.g. if something falls over or the smash patties are thrown on the grill). I wanted to order a burger to take away for my pregnant wife today (February 14th). Was rejected. Should come in an hour. I told the chef it was an emergency, I just wanted a burger to go and her blood sugar was low. He just mimicked and laughed at me. It doesn't work at all!

Awesome food, with very delicious offers, the menu has a solid amount of variety with constantly switching their specials, i did however dock some points for service, because reaching them by phone is a gamble, unfortunately I've been in a situation where i called 4 times with no answer, otherwise an awesome place and i 100% recommend people to visit!

We were warmly welcomed and quickly found something vegetarian on the menu. Fries were pretty good and big portion. That's pretty much it for the positives. The burgers were cold and very dry. Almost just arugula and far too little sauce. The patty didn't seem really fried... What's more, it was very cold in the already sparsely equipped restaurant. Not a comfortable atmosphere at all. And at that price, the dirty plates could also be picked up. You have to put these in an adjoining room yourself. Overall, it's a real shame because I've only heard good things about the store.

Die Google Bewertung fällt leider negativ aus. Die Erfahrung war enttäuschend aufgrund fehlender Artikel und eines viel zu sauren Salatdressings. Es ist bedauerlich zu sehen, wie die Qualität im Vergleich zu früher nachgelassen hat. Das Fehlen von bestimmten Artikeln beeinträchtigt die Gesamterfahrung und den Wert für Kunden. Insbesondere das übermäßig saure Salatdressing wirkt sich stark auf den Geschmack und die Freude am Essen aus. In der Vergangenheit war die Qualität zufriedenstellender, was die aktuelle Verschlechterung umso bedauerlicher macht. Es wäre zu hoffen, dass dieses Feedback dazu beiträgt, dass das Unternehmen die notwendigen Schritte unternimmt, um die Qualität wiederherzustellen und den Kunden eine positive Erfahrung zu bieten.

Das Essen hat super geschmeckt, hat etwas lange gedauert, das warten hat sich aber gelohnt. Der service kriegt nur 3 sterne weil die kein überblick hatten. Und das ambiente war schön nur sehr kalt drinnen.

Per Zufall dieses kleine Lokal entdeckt. Sehr sauber, supernettes Personal und eine tolle Speisekarte. Aber der "Landau Burger" ist absolut speziell, ist ab heute mein Lieblingsburger. Saftig, frisch, megalecker gewürzt und mit Blutwurst! und den sagenhaften karamelisierten Zwiebeln etwas ganz besonders "pfälzisches".

Schon beim rein kommen riecht es komisch. Selbstbedienung bedeutet, essen an der Theke bestellen, trinken und Besteck selbst holen und Teller selbst abräumen - geht für mich gar nicht, wenn ich in ein Restaurant gehe. Burger und Getränkte definitiv überteuert und Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig…so ein Burger kann ich mir auch zuhause machen. Pommes total versalzen. Hier gehe ich nicht nochmal hin!

Wir waren an einem Sonntag Abend dort - und wir haben einen Tisch bekommen. Es waren die leckersten Burger überhaupt. Wir haben etwas aufs Essen warten müssen aber es hat sich gelohnt. Die Chorizo Pommes waren der Knaller. Die Getränke sind gut - vorwiegend regional - Erdmännchen Bier finde ich ne Mega Idee. Liebe Grüße beim nächsten Urlaub gerne wieder.

War super hier. Burger echt lecker, frisch und Zutaten regional. Glutenfreie Buns stehen nicht auf der Karte, aber könnte ich erfragen (ich vermute die haben sie nicht immer).

Die Burger sind total überteuert für das was man letztendlich bekommt. Ein rießen Teller mit einem Burger, der sehr lieblos darauf liegt. Noch nicht mal ein Salatblat ist bei allen Burgern drauf, wodurch das ganze schon einmal bisschen anders wirken würde. Es gibt deutlich bessere Burger in Restaurants, die sich nicht als reines Burgerrestaurant bezeichnen. Mitarbeiter zum Teil ebenfalls unfreundlich.

Unsere Burger waren frisch zubereitet und lecker. Pommes war eine reichliche Portion. Für die wenigen belegten Tische war die Wartezeit von gut 50 Minuten etwas lang. Ansonsten einen Besuch wert in Landau.

Die besten Burger in Landau mit hochwertigen Bestandteilen aus der Region: Top Brot (speziell das Brioche) und Fleisch Patty ebenfalls schmackhaft & saftig! Ebenfalls super Kooperation zwischen Bengels & Bargage, sodass man seinen Aperol bei Bengels in der Sonne genießen kann und sich bei Bargage den Burger holen darf 😍

Wer Wert auf naturbelassene Pommes und leckere Soßen legt, ist hier goldrichtig. Gleichbleibend gute Qualität und freundliche Erfüllung von Sonderwünsche. Für mich alternativlos gut in Landau.

Dafür das es nicht mal frisch gezapftes Bier und guten Wein gab waren die Cocktails leider auch echt nicht gut. Bei den Preisen kann man schon erwarten das wenigstens die Basics wie Whiskey Sour oder old fashioned stimmen! Leider war beides neben den anderen Drinks nicht gut :/

Tolle Auswahl an leckeren Burgerkreationen und Pommes mit Toppings. Wir mögen sehr die Chillicheesepommes und Bagamolepommes. Man schmeckt, dass die Zutaten durchweg hochwertig sind. Toll ist auch, dass alle Zutaten aus der Region sind. Preisleistungsverhältnis passt! Dazu kommt ein sehr nettes Team! Wir gehen sehr gerne hin.

Bester Burger Laden in Landau und Umgebung. Esse hier immer öfter. Das essen ist immer frisch und schmeckt super! Der vibe ist einzigartig, immer mega gute Stimmung. Die Musik ist mega ich habe mehr als einmal nach der Playlist gefragt. Und natürlich läuft SHAZAM durchgehend.
