The service was a bit unconventional, but friendly. Not everything on the menu was available. Prices were reasonable, portions were certainly adequate, and the food was tasty. The ambiance was a bit dated. Unfortunately, they only accepted cash payments, which surprised us somewhat. They intend to change this, though. It's best to ask beforehand. Overall, we'd gladly return.

Delicious schnitzel and good beer!

We were looking for a restaurant in Landau for four people and a large dog. We weren't familiar with Landau. We stumbled across the Paulaner Stuben online (thankfully). Delicious food, very friendly service, and everyone is very dog-friendly. Very good value for money. We highly recommend it…

Quaint little restaurant, the food is very fine and delicious. Service is attentive and professional. Small but very important note: no card payments! Even if it says so online. 😉

Very nice brewery and good home-style cooking

We were visiting Landau and ate here because it was one of the few restaurants open for lunch. I ordered a salad with chicken. Unfortunately, halfway through my meal, I realized there was something in my food that didn't belong there. It looked like a transparent cocoon with three maggots inside, absolutely disgusting. I then complained to the waiter, who was really friendly. Then the chef came over and was completely rude to me, asking how I could possibly claim that it was from fresh meat. I haven't even prepared meat before, and I know that there shouldn't be anything like that in meat, and it wasn't meat either! Then he took the cocoon with the caterpillars and just ate it! Disgusting! He continued to pick up the meat with his hands and ate it, then pointedly held the plate out to me for me to take it back. Very disrespectful! Not customer-friendly, and we even had to pay for the salad, which, firstly, had maggots in it and, secondly, the chef was digging around in it with his fingers right in front of my eyes! Never again! It's one thing to find something in your food that doesn't belong there. That can happen, but this way of handling the situation and me as a customer is abysmal and inexcusable!

We had a delicious meal today in a rustic and cozy atmosphere with very friendly service - a full 5 stars ⭐️!

I was disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. My turkey steak tasted bland, and the gravy was very watery. The waitresses had obviously just started working as waitresses and thought they were good at what they did. A little more was needed.

The service staff should be retrained in certain areas. How to behave and what to say. It's sometimes rude to discuss things that you don't do as a waiter 🤷‍♂️ Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was average (not bad and very enjoyable). But it didn't completely convince me, unfortunately 🙈

Delicious food, from Palatinate to light Greek, there's a good selection here. The ambiance is rustic and very cozy. You can also sit at the bar and just have a drink. There's a lovely beer garden outside. The server is quick, and the manager is nice. I like the place...

We were returning from the airport to Saarland (July 2025) and wanted to avoid the existing traffic jam. After a brief search, we came across the Paulanerstuben in Landau and promptly stopped in. The restaurant is located right next to a parking lot and has a cozy beer garden, so it was a perfect fit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered schnitzel, salads, and a typical Palatinate liver dumpling dish with sauerkraut and a dark onion sauce. Our meal was perfect and exactly what I would expect from this type of restaurant: honest, home-cooked food with good ingredients and generous portion sizes at a reasonable price. The food is delicious (grilled pepperoni is a must) and really good value for money. There's also a beer garden. I highly recommend it.

We ordered schnitzel with cheese sauce, which was absolutely disgusting. The fries were very bad! The starter, grilled feta cheese, was burnt! I'm surprised that people like that are allowed to own a restaurant and even offer a takeaway service. Absolutely terrible! I'll never order from there again!

The friendly waiter was very attentive, offering recommendations for appetizers which we gladly accepted, and we weren't disappointed. The non-alcoholic Paulaner wheat beer was refreshing, and the tzatziki and grilled pepperoni were really good. Today we "only" had the salad with chicken breast. The chicken was very well seasoned and incredibly tender. The olive oil dressing was excellent. All in all, we were very satisfied and even struck up a conversation with some nice people at the next table. There's lovely seating both inside and outside. We'll definitely be back! 🤤🤤🤤

The sausage salad we ordered tasted of nothing but vinegar. The draft wheat beer we ordered with it was bottled, not drafted. What a shame!

Great schnitzel, fair prices and portion sizes. The salad dressing was just too acidic. We sat inside, and unfortunately, the ambiance was poor; it was very dark and quiet, as there was no music or anything like that playing. As a result, you could hear conversations from every neighboring table, which created a rather cold atmosphere. Therefore, I recommend sitting outside; I think the experience would be completely different then. Important: Card payments are not accepted!

I ate a portion of beef liver for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised; I have rarely been served such deliciously prepared liver! Fries were also delicious, otherwise everything was as I would imagine in a Palatinate restaurant.

Even if the restaurant has been serving food for 20 years and offers Palatinate dishes, I also want to eat Palatinate dishes and not ready-made meals that have been warmed up.. for the prices I would have liked homemade dishes.. the bratwurst was very dry on the outside and inside still pink.. the liver dumpling was a ready-made product, as was the sauerkraut.. the fries with the sausage salad were a bit boring.. the schnitzel, on the other hand, as you can hear, is freshly prepared.. the side salad, on the other hand, is prepared and kept cool.. a little too cold in my opinion.. as soon as you have finished drinking your beer, the next one is served straight away even though you didn't order one.. I find it a bit intrusive.. In itself, it's not worth it for us to dine there again. As people from the Palatinate, we also want traditional Palatinate cuisine and no ready-made products. thank you very much for your effort

It was a last-minute decision to go out to eat. I ordered a breaded turkey schnitzel with cheese sauce. Anyone who knows anything about gastronomy knows what a pork schnitzel or a turkey schnitzel is, cheese sauce or hollandaise. I definitely had a pork schnitzel with hollandaise. I am a self-trained restaurant specialist and have 25 years of professional experience. Service was nice and if I had ordered a pork schnitzel with hollandaise it would have been good.

We ate at Paulaner Landau with a larger group of around 30 people. The service was great. Everything went smoothly and no one had to wait any longer for their drink or food. The food was also great! Very good taste and good portions. Everyone in the group was very satisfied. Clear recommendation and we would be happy to come back. 👍

Was there in the beer garden..... Schnitzel was great..... but it really pisses me off when there's smoking all around me, that it's all too late..... and then especially those dirty e-cigarettes ......thought my beer tasted like chewing gum...... I was about to change location, but my son stopped me because he was so hungry...

Brauhaus ambience, nice service, food was ok, the salad was a little sour, the Palatinate platter was sufficient, a lot of fried salty bacon in the sauce, liver dumplings were good, bratwurst was very fatty, sausage stomach was very firm and salty.

When you arrive at the Paulaner Stuben in Landau you immediately feel warmly welcome. The service was great, the food arrived very quickly, me and my girlfriend didn't have to wait long and it tasted great. I had the chicken wings and my girlfriend had the schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Great price compared to other restaurants in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Landau.

We ate Palatinate food there and it was extremely tasty. The menu is very extensive and also offers many variations of schnitzel and Greek cuisine. The restaurant was already full at 5 p.m., and locals obviously love going here too.

Update - February 2024 - this time had dinner with work colleagues. mjammm mjammm mjammm. Whether there was a choice of schnitzel in different versions or a well-seasoned 1/2 chicken, each of us was thrilled. The meal was accompanied by plenty of beer. Great evening. The operators and service staff are foreigners but very friendly and do their job well! Gladly again when the weather gets better so you can sit outside. Parking spaces are available in front of the restaurant (depending on the time). It is always recommended to buy a ticket, as the public order office is often out and about handing out tickets. Ahhhh... And there's also food to pick up! Had lunch in the parlor again after years. A friendly, attentive woman served us (4 adults & a child). The food came quickly and was delicious. While it was empty over there, the terrace outside was well occupied. The room is recommended and the price is right too. Gladly again.

A good casual passage schnitzel and good roast chicken

The restaurant has decreased in quality and increased in prices. We like to eat SchniPoSa at Paulaner. Since everything is becoming more expensive, we understand that the price increase of 3 euros per dish is steep, BUT you also expect good quality. This is unfortunately not the case. Fries in there too long and soggy, schnitzel very thin and fibrous. You could do that better. Currently only fills you up and gives you little enjoyment for €15.90. I really like the ambience, which isn't the main part.

Schönes Ambiente. Der Rest ist da so eine Sache. Ein Essen falsch und beim anderen hat trotz Nachfrage bis zum Schluss ein Teil gefehlt.

Das Restaurant ist von außen sehr unscheinbar, hat jedoch mit seinem Essen und Service sehr überzeugt. Das Essen war schnell da und hat sehr gut geschmeckt! Personal war auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Wir hatten für 10-12 Personen gebucht was auch im großen und ganzem gut geklappt hat(war halt sehr eng am Tisch) der Service hat mich ein bisschen entäuscht, obwohl wir nachgefragt haben ob er alles bei der Vorspeise hat bzw nochmals alles aufzählen sollte was wir bestellt haben kam nur die antwort er hätte alles,prompt fehlte eine vorspeise und bevor die kam stand schon der beilagen salat auf dem tisch. dann bestellten wir drei rumpsteak(einmal englisch und zwei mal medium rar) eins kam halb englisch,das zweite war nur medium und meines war nicht mal medium(war ein fehler der servicekraft der mich falsch verstanden hat,kann man sehen wie man will) nachdem alle mit dem essen fertig waren bekam ich mein steak das allerdings nur gut medium war aber ich es trotzdem gegessen habe da es nicht sein muss soviel teures fleisch weg wirft. der knaller war allerdings das wir bei der gesamtrechnung 70 euro mehr bezahlt haben bzw sollten wie der realistische preis lt speisekarte. als wir mit der servicekraft alles nochmals durchgegangen sind war seine aussage:mein fehler und das waren auch die gleichen worte wie bei der fehlenden vorspeise bzw den vorgegebenen gar grate an die küche. bei allem was lieb und recht ist,das geht nicht. macht euch als betreiber dieses restaurant mal gedanken ob as noch normal ist solche leute einzustellen wenn die total überfordert sind wenn mehr als 4/5 peersonen an einem tisch sitzen.fazit: essen war(bis auf den garpunkt)okay aber,wegen ambiente und service würden wir es uns überlegen nochmals zuresrvieren bzw zu kommen

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Jedoch ist der Service nicht gerade aufmerksam. Es war zwar viel los, aber solange die Bedienung an der Bar sitzen kann ist es noch nicht zu viel. Hatten Rumsteak medium bestellt, war durch oder man könnte auch sagen tot... Erst meinte der Service man sehe es nicht wegen der Soße und fragte dann ob alle so seien und wir zeigten dann das mit Zwiebel. Aber Sorry, medium erkennt man alleine schon am Fleischsaft in der Soße... Naja, braucht man nicht nochmal...
