Friendly service and delicious food. We were warned that the wait for our food might be a bit longer, as there were a lot of orders at the same time. In the end, it took 30 minutes, which is perfectly reasonable for fresh food. We'd be happy to come back...

We were there for the first time today and will definitely be back. It's beautifully situated in the gardens, and you can sit outside. The food came quickly, hot, and delicious. The service was very friendly. The portions were really generous and the prices were reasonable. Thumbs up. 😋😋😋

Phew, I actually ordered a grilled chicken steak. I don't know what it actually was, an indefinable piece of pressed SOMETHING. It tasted neither like chicken nor like meat. Too bad, we relied on the Google reviews. Unfortunately, it was nothing. And €17 with salad was a lot of money for nothing.

I was recently at Zum Schrebergarten in Landau – and I was absolutely thrilled! We sat outside on the terrace, which was really comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was impressive across the board. For the starter I had the so-called fire plate - it tasted great and was beautifully presented. Afterwards there was the ram schnitzel with fries: a huge portion, super juicy, well seasoned - just really delicious! And to top it all off, the apple cake with ice cream, which was warm, fluffy and simply perfect in combination with the ice cream. I can honestly say: I haven't eaten so well in a long time! The price-performance ratio was also great – I only paid €32 for three courses and two drinks. Absolutely fair for this quality. Clear recommendation – I’ll definitely be back!

It's worth visiting this place because they make the most delicious schnitzel I've ever tasted.

We had good, honest schnitzels here. I was relieved when I heard a knock from the kitchen. This has now become a rarity. There was also a nice salad. All in one portion that will leave you feeling full. The service was excellent and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. The prices are not overpriced.

The schnitzels are highly recommended. Very good value for money. The dining room could be a bit warmer.

We always enjoy coming here when we are cycling. The kitchen is continuous, so it always suits us when we want to graduate. Everything has tasted good so far. Price performance is definitely right.

Good schnitzel and not a long wait

Typical allotment garden restaurant in terms of ambience. In terms of food, it's cheap and super tasty! The Fläschknepp with horseradish were great, the Bolo Schnitzel was a hefty portion. But the highlight was the rump steak. 300 g perfectly fried, really good steakhouse fries. Woohoo! The fourth person at the table also had delicious squid rings. Drinks are of course good in the Palatinate anyway. Service very nice and attentive. In summer you can go out on the terrace and have a nice and delicious meal. It's also worth taking a digestive walk through the gardens!

The ambience was bad and the food was unpalatable. There were hardly any dishes for vegetarians and the service was neither friendly nor unfriendly. The food is quite good for meat eaters, but the restaurant is not recommended for vegetarians.

The appropriate name. We in Austria would call it a shelter. Good map, but we went there on Schnitzel Day. There is a very good salad buffet and various types of schnitzel. As an Austrian, I didn't have the heart to eat my schnitzel with tunke, but the braver ones found the different variations edible. Very good fries.

Highly recommended! Super tasty, large portions, great quality of food, family service and cozy atmosphere. Went there for lunch today with 11 people, everything came at the same time, nice and hot and fresh! From fish to schnitzel to rump steak, all plates were swept empty in the end :-) Probably one of the best price-performance ratios in Landau and the surrounding area. We'll definitely be back! Family dinner in the restaurant. Service is very attentive and friendly, scores points with its open and personal nature. The food is sufficiently portioned and is freshly prepared. Immer wieder gut. Location gerade im Sommer draußen super gemütlich. Bedienung immer schnell und zuvorkommend. Und auch Preis/Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Die Portionen sind reichlich und immer lecker.

Durchschnittlich gute Küche mit freundlichem Service und ziemlich gemütlicher Terrasse, aber die Bienen, Wespen and vor allem die unzähligen Fliegen sind so lästig das man sich einfach nicht wohlfühlen kann!

Essen schmeckt lecker. Wir sind schon des öfteren in der Gaststätte gewesen immer sehr zufrieden gewesen. Werden auch weiterhin die Gaststätte besuchen. Preis Leistung sehr gut.
