Today was our first time at Magazine, and certainly not our last. Fantastic breakfast buffet, unlimited coffee ☕️, super friendly and attentive service, and excellent value for money. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning on November 1st, 2025 ❤️ 😊

I went there to eat with my girlfriend. The staff were very friendly. The only thing that annoyed me was that we don't drink CSFE and we had arranged over the phone that we could have hot chocolate included instead of the coffee. So far so good, but when I placed my second order I wasn't told that the second round wasn't on the house. It's also a shame that juice isn't included in the €21 price. In Neustadt I pay €15 for juice but the coffee costs extra which would have been cheaper. Unfortunately there were no croissants either, and when I asked for multi-cuisine juice it was empty (at 10am 🤔). Our seat was in a corner which meant we constantly had to squeeze between two other occupied tables and it's a shame that I had to look at an empty stone wall; a picture would have been much nicer. Yes, complaints at a high level but I did have a good breakfast - fresh and lots of choice, nice table service.

I went there for brunch with my work colleagues today for the first time, but not the last. A truly extensive buffet with numerous breakfast delicacies. There's something for everyone; both cold and warm snacks are inviting to indulge in. The price/performance ratio is also absolutely excellent. The attentive service rounded off my visit. Six of us spent Mother's Day at the Magazin. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and delicious. The food was constantly replenished, so no one went empty-handed. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly, creating an almost family-like atmosphere. The value for money is definitely excellent. We'd love to come back again.

I have been a guest here for many, many years. You feel in great hands here. The staff is very nice. The food is top and definitely corresponds to the price/performance ratio. It's actually a bit difficult to show up with a stroller. There is space for it, but getting to the restaurant is a little more difficult. But the nice staff is always helpful.

We had breakfast there as a family of 5, 2 adults, 3 children 11, 10, 5 years old for just under 100 euros. The selection at the buffet was very limited for 21.50 per person, I would have expected something different and there were no drinks for the price, only tea and coffee. Here too, I was very surprised, as I said, for the price that my children also paid, apart from the 5 year old, it was really very weak and there was little choice of food, so we don't want to come here anymore. What's really positive is the ambience, it looks very nice and the staff was ok too

Preiskategorie ist hoch, deshalb finde ich es eine Unverschämtheit für einen Esslöffel Ketchup 80 Cent extra zu berechnen. Ich werde dieses Lokal nicht mehr betreten.

The waitress kept coming by and asking if everything was OK and if we wanted anything else. We were outside and there was a lot to do. The staff had to go up and down the stairs very often. Despite everything, everyone always has a smile for the guests. We had dinner this evening. The food was very tasty and plentiful. There were four of us and everyone was very happy. We had 3 different meals. Everything looked very tasty. The price-performance ratio is also okay. I had a dinner date with my niece today. She had a coughing fit. The waitress came and brought my niece a glass of water without us asking. I found that very thoughtful. I can only speak very positively about the service. 🙂👍

I have never been disappointed and the price-performance ratio is also right!! You respond to needs and always have a kind word. We were a group for breakfast with adults and children. For the breakfast buffet on a public holiday. I arrived a few minutes later and breakfast included an orange juice. There was no juice at my seat, and the staff was unable to bring me another orange juice because there was a counted number on the table. I then asked if I had to pay for my son who didn't want to eat breakfast (eight years old). I was told he was registered, the food was bought and I had to pay the full price of around €16. (ojuice not included, children do not get juice) This is of course bitter, somehow understandable that you have to plan, but unfortunately also annoying for me. Then came the excuse at 11:00 a.m. that they don't make scrambled eggs anymore, If I have to pay for a person who doesn't eat anything and I haven't had an egg myself, then I can ask for scrambled eggs again at 11:00 a.m., which is what was done. The next discussion was that my daughter, twelve years old, should pay the full price and drink the coffee on the table. I then said that a hot drink like hot chocolate would probably be included. The answer was she's welcome to get some tea at the front. After a lot of back and forth, we finally had hot chocolate. This inflexibility was very bitter for me. I paid more than €70 in total for a child who didn't eat breakfast and didn't even get a juice, and a child who got a hot chocolate after a lot of discussion and didn't have to drink coffee. For me as an adult, the breakfast was varied and OK, but at over €20.00 it was a hefty price. Conclusion: I was there last time

We had a table that was too small for our group, 1-2 seats too few. The service was very friendly. The food took far too long, but tasted very good and was beautifully presented.

We were there for the second time today, this time with friends. Everyone was thrilled with the beautiful ambiance, the great staff and chef, the outstanding cuisine, and the top-notch quality. You should come hungry. The four hours went by far too quickly; we'd love to come back and recommend it to others.

We can still work on the comfortability...Unfortunately, the vegetables for the rösti were drowned in Bernaise sauce. The pumpkin soup was delicious. Summer lemonade is also very tasty. Portion of apple strudel could be a little more generous and is not homemade.

We came here by chance to fill a waiting time. We were thrilled with the breakfast menu and ordered farmer's toast. Topped once with salmon and once with scrambled eggs and bacon. To our surprise, there was a selection of antipasti on the plate. The service was very friendly. We sat in the beautiful beer garden. We would love to come back.

Went here today for the breakfast buffet and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience for me. Since I travel a lot and therefore have a comprehensive comparison, the P/L was not good for me. Thanks to the great ambience and the friendly staff, there is huge potential for improvement. Examples: overcooked rice pudding, only 2 types of cold cuts (salami and cooked ham), no choice of cheese (Camenbert, Brie, etc.), only a glass of juice included, only scrambled eggs (no boiled or other ice cream dishes), etc. As always, it is purely subjective and I can only recommend the management to visit the Vielnois in South Tyrol. There you get to know the “final boss” when it comes to the breakfast buffet. Wish you all the best for the future.

Once and never again! The boss's disrespect and impudence was absolutely disgusting! There were 11 of us in total for breakfast with under 5 children. Children aged 10 and over pay the full price here! €21.50!!! The price includes coffee/tea and just 1 glass of juice! The 10-year-old child who logically doesn't drink coffee doesn't even get a Kaba unless we order the Kaba and pay for it! Another child who was there is 8 years old and got a headache on the way to the magazine (52 km journey) and therefore didn't eat ANYTHING! €2 is charged per year of life! That means €16 for a child who hasn't eaten anything. The boss's statement: "He should just eat something!" For a boss who runs a company, you should actually show some empathy and goodwill. I would have thought half the price would be appropriate here. But according to the boss, she doesn't care, he can eat and should just eat something! The service itself was very polite and nice, but the boss was by far the most rude person we have ever met in a restaurant. Here you notice that children are not welcome with the boss, otherwise you would have reacted differently. If anyone wants to have breakfast here, then you should be sure that children are not really welcome here!

We've been to the magazine many times, always with 10-12 people in summer or winter, the food was always very tasty, even if you had to wait longer at times, so it came to the whole table at the same time. Yesterday, however, the experience was different. Reserved for 10 people, set outside. We were there at 6:30 p.m. and an electric guitarist was getting ready to sing on the middle level. The music was good, but way too loud, you could only talk while screaming. That lasted until 10:30 p.m. We waited 90 minutes for the food. My order of calamari with lemon aioli, buttermilk dressing, baguette and salad for 18.50 euros was very tasty, except it was a mountain of salad with 6 rings of squid and 3 narrow slices of bread. I've never woken up hungry after a meal, but I did here. Mind you, the menu didn't say salad with calamari, but rather calamari with salad. Goods value about 3 euros EKP. I found that to be a rip-off. A sizeable cordon bleu with fried potatoes costs the same, but was a filling portion, as my companion confirmed. Conclusion. I don't know whether we will come here again with our group - despite the nice service, who bought us a coffee as "compensation".

Seit das Magazine 2018 unter der Leitung von Familie Furtwängler eröffnet wurde, sind wir regelmäßig gerne da. Ich habe immer das freudige Gefühl, gerne Willkommen zu sein. Das Ambiente, die Atmosphäre, die gesamte Speisekarte und in erster Linie das gesamte Team harmoniert miteinander. Im Februar 2024 hatten wir zum Geburtstag meiner Frau ins Magazine eingeladen. Familienangehörige und Freunde waren vollauf zufrieden und bestens versorgt. DANKE an das gesamte Team, es war ein schöner gelungener Abend. We had the salad with chicken strips. Plates are beautifully arranged. For me personally it could have been a little more. But it was ok, fresh and tasted good. I would order the salad again and can recommend it. Unfortunately, the wine spritzer with Weisherbst tasted watery. Either too much water or I'm just used to better wine. But overall good.

This hotel has an amazing ambiance and everything. But the food I had, which was crunchy chicken , I wasn't very happy about. Even my friend who ordered curry Wurst, felt the flavours weren't up to the level and he even compared it to the KIT campus one. But the dessert was amazing and we enjoyed it. As for the conclusion or verdict, we had veg pizza , crunchy chicken burger and others. The four star is because of the service, ambiance and the dessert but not the food. Anyways guys enjoy. My first time in Landau in the magazine and I was thrilled. Friendly, attentive and competent staff as well as delicious and reasonably priced food made the evening with friends an experience. The ambience is spacious and very pleasant with the vaulted cellar and niche-like seating. You don't necessarily have to listen to the conversation of the person sitting next to you.😉 The staff gives the impression that the team is happy. The menu is clear, which I personally find particularly good if you expect freshly prepared dishes. The ordered dishes arrived at the same time after a reasonable waiting time, were beautifully presented, in sufficient portions and simply delicious. Our waitress stopped by every now and then to check that everything was going well, so we were able to order drinks and dessert quickly. It was a great evening. The restaurant is absolutely recommended.
