Great food at a reasonable price and really pleasant service. I'll definitely come by again. The only thing I don't like is the ambience and the toilets in particular could use some updating.

I can only agree with the previous speakers. The food was really perfect I had a flank steak and my colleague had a rump steak. That was exactly right. It was buttery tender and is an experience just to look at. My steak was presented on a salt stone, which of course made it even more impressive. The service was very attentive and friendly, the prices are reasonable, but definitely not cheap. Absolute recommendation

I'm positively surprised. We were there spontaneously on Friday evening because of the good reviews. But since there was only one service person there and no food came out of the kitchen for ages, I really expected the worst. When the food came I was really amazed. It was very tasty. Meat really good. As a tip: There should be more staff and, very important, you should get coarse sea salt with a good steak. None in the spreader. The same goes for pepper. But that's complaining at a high level. Price/performance definitely fits.

Very good service, great meat, really good salad dressing, special requests are catered for. Not crammed with tables to the point where it can't be done anymore.

We were there for the first time and found the food (steak) very tasty. Great in terms of price and quantity. Found the side dishes like herb butter and onions too expensive... something like that could be included for free or cheaper. Otherwise highly recommended.

First of all: I rarely write reviews and even more rarely bad ones. But this one is well deserved, I just have to vent my anger. We celebrated a bachelor party here and had announced and reserved it months in advance. The restaurant wasn't so full when we arrived that we could assume it was overloaded for a short period of time. It seems strange when, when you order a T-bone in a steakhouse, you are told that you first have to check whether there are any left. Saturday evening in a steakhouse at a JGA that was announced long in advance. OK. Some were found after all, I suspect in the freezer. Unfortunately, the steak was tough, spongy and, above all, completely tasteless. To put this harsh review into perspective: I have never eaten a really bad steak in my life. I've hung out well over the point, well below the point, badly, etc., but could always find at least something good about it, even if it was just the savory taste. Until yesterday. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy anything about this T-Bone. The fries were not seasoned at all, not even salted, which made the taste of calamari all the more noticeable. I find it completely unreasonable to fry seafood and fries in the same fat, especially at these prices. Speaking of prices: €4.50 for a small side salad, which elsewhere would have been at most a garnish on the main course, is still described very favorably as disappointing. The green pepper in the pepper sauce was obviously not washed off properly, so the sauce had a nasty aftertaste. Dessert was completely canceled because, along with a few other things, what the menu promised was not in stock. Regarding the service: One of the young gentlemen limited his activity most of the time to tending the deserted counter and only rarely deigned to lend a hand to his colleague, who didn't exactly run to death either. This is probably why everyone at the table already had their steak in front of them, but no side dishes or sauces. So I had the choice of eating the first half of my steak without any side dishes or the cold steak with the onions, fries and salad I ordered. The only two starters at the table, which were ordered "in time with the main course" so that the rest of the group wouldn't have to wait, arrived last. I also sat dry most of the time. At least the man behind the counter could have noticed that many at the table had already finished their first drink before the food was served. At a JGA you could be so enterprising as to regularly ask whether you should get more. We then had to wait so long for the emptied plates to be cleared away that we called the waiter over to order dessert. It was only when we were also disappointed by the lack of options that they came up with the idea of ​​offering us a round of schnapps. I would have done that sooner and more often with such a large group and for this occasion. For everyone who thinks that I am being too demanding or that my troops have definitely misbehaved or something similar: No. We were all shockingly sober, cheerful and benevolent. Anything but difficult or burdensome guests. I also really have every understanding for staff shortages, stress or just a bad day. But the only good thing I have to say about my experience is that we were treated kindly and the two gentlemen were very personable and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Unfortunately, that's not nearly enough for me on such a unique day and with this bill amount.

The baked sheep's cheese was really good, and the portion was also sufficient. The ambience is very nice, sat outside. Definitely worth a second visit.

I happened to be at Legends on July 23, 2024. I sat outside. The beer garden is very sporadically furnished, so it's not necessarily comfortable. Was served very nicely and friendly by a waiter who unfortunately served in street clothes and thereby detracted a little from the look of such a restaurant. But he was very professional, you can tell it's not the first time he's done this. I ate a Jägerschnitzel with mushroom sauce, spaetzle and salad. Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, even though it actually tasted good. The schnitzel had a strange breading, which was probably baked in the deep fryer. Sauce was very viscous, more like a porridge than a sauce, spaetzle was warmed up ready-made product. Salad was ok, but dressing was probably not homemade. Despite a few things you could eat it. Portion size was okay, price with a drink €30 is okay. I wouldn't go there again, but I would recommend trying it out, everyone has different tastes.

We were there spontaneously after visiting the zoo. With six adults and two children. We were greeted very friendly and everything was rearranged for us. The food was prepared quickly and we received it at the same time. We can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience :) Portions are very large and taste TOP, keep it up.

Been there several times - never been disappointed! Whether it's burgers, steaks or desserts, everything is always perfect. In terms of taste, it's really one of the best steakhouses in the Southern Palatinate. Nice service and centrally located. Parking not far away. It's also great for the price! Very clear recommendation.

Rumstaek with pepper sauce and fries. The meat was very good and not tough. The pepper sauce deserves special mention. The fries were just the right degree and crispy. A very good meal. The service is good and not intrusive. All in all it was a very nice evening. The price is normal for a steakhouse, with wine, water and espresso a complete evening.

We had steak dinner last week, the starters were good, then we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for the main course, the food was cold, when we asked it was then brought back (warmed up) and then it was no longer edible The waitress was completely overwhelmed and the price was overpriced That was the first and last visit to this steakhouse

Was here for dinner with friends. I had "Balkan Cevapcici" and churos for dessert. 2 Spezi as a drink so I was just under €28. The cevap were good, came with fries and tzatziki, it could have been a little more, they tasted perfect. The curos came with chocolate sauce, honey and ice cream. I would have liked to be able to choose whether I wanted chocolate sauce or powdered sugar, but they were also nice and crispy and tasted good. Particularly noteworthy is the cheese sauce, which was really great. The service seemed a bit listless and unmotivated. Unfortunately, a card payment was not possible at the door, although there is a sticker that says it is possible, but when paying, the message "not possible" came up; this would have been a good hint when taking the order Otherwise everything is good so far. I will definitely go there more often.

My wife and I had reserved a table for the second holiday. The rump steaks were top fried the way we wanted them (1x medium-rare and 1x medium). Service very friendly and the ambience fits the steakhouse style. It would be an advantage to reserve a table. It definitely won't be there for the last time, but I'll be happy to come back.

Service was friendly, food was delicious, equipment needed to be refreshed and the toilets could use some renovation.

Wir suchten ein Café oder Restaurant am Samstag Mittag.....nach einem kurzen Einkauf in der Nähe.....sahen diese location.....sah zuerst von außen nach Kneipe aus....eher unscheinbar.....dann die Speisekarte gesichtet......das ließ uns sofort reingehen. Es war leer aber die Jungs waren sofort zur Stelle und kümmerten sich super um alles. Wir hatten den Putensalat und den Rinderstreifensalat. Es kamen 2 große prallgefüllte Teller, nett dekoriert, mit sehr gutem Fleisch und überhaupt war es allemal den Preis wert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen dieses Lokal wärmstens! Alles frisch gemacht und sehr gute Qualität. lasst euch das nicht entgehen......1a ! 👌

Wir waren gestern im Legends essen und was uns vorallem positiv aufgefallen ist, ist der aufmerksame und sehr freundliche Service. Der Koch selbst hat sich erkundigt ob das Essen schmeckt, unterhielt sich gerne und versteht sich darauf seine Gäste zu verwöhnen. Wir hatten Burger und ein Steak auf dem Salzstein und waren sehr glücklich über unsere Auswahl. Wenn wir wieder nach Landau sind wir selbstverständlich wieder gerne zu Gast im Legends. Danke :)

Ich kann mich allen anderen positiven Rezensionen nur anschließen. Die Steaks waren auf den Punkt, super lecker. Positiv finde ich, dass man die Beilagen separat selbst auswählen kann. Und ja... die Toiletten sind neu, sauber und warm :-)

Zufällig gefunden, rein gegangen, gegessen und für absolut empfehlenswert empfunden. Essen war hervorragend (Gegrillte Peperoni, Cheeseburger mit Süßkartoffelpommes), der Service einwandfrei. So stelle ich mir einen gelungenen Restaurantbesuch vor.

Waren am So Mittag im Restaurant. Es war leider kaum besucht, da die neuen Eigentümer erst 1 Jahr drin sind. Aber unsere Rumpsteaks (egal ob mit Zwiebeln, Kräuterbutter oder Pfeffersoße), sowie die Burger waren super lecker. Es hat uns von den Großeltern bis zu den Enkeln super geschmeckt. Total netter Service und ich finde nur zum weiterempfehlen. Danke für das tolle Essen!

An einem Donnerstag waren wir auf der Suche nach etwas zu essen in Landau. Da entdeckten wir dieses unscheinbare Restaurant. Wir wurden höflich empfangen, der Service war schnell und zuvorkommend. Nach kurzem überlegen haben wir uns für eine Grillplatte inklusive Beilagen (Pommes und Reis (70 €)) für zwei Personen entschieden (siehe Bild). Hier trifft das Sprichwort „Masse statt klasse“ nicht zu. Ungefähr 1,5kg Fleisch/Fisch und trotzdem sehr gut zubereitet, Hut ab! Gerne wieder, die Platte könnte man sich auch gut zu viert teilen 🫠.

Ich war heute mit einem Arbeitskollegen da. Super Location, Essen war sehr gut, das Fleisch auf den Punkt gegart. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam. Werde beim nächsten Kundenbesuch im schönen Landau definitiv wieder hier ein sehr gutes Steak essen gehen.

Haben nur einen Kaffee getrunken und Churros dazu bestellt, war kein Problem auch zur Abendessenszeit. Super Servicemitarbeiter der uns schnell und freundlich bedient hat. Gerne wieder.

Mein zweiter Besuch hier, bei dem mich der Gastgeber erneut, abgesehen von seinen liebevoll und sehr lecker zubereiteten Speisen, mit seinem grandiosen, professionellen und vor allem liebevoll gastfreundlichen Service wieder einmal von meiner Entscheidung sein Restaurant zu besuchen überzeugt hat! Einfach toll hier! Empfehlung meinerseits!

Auf das Essen über 1 Stunde gewartet und das einfachste Gericht (Nuggets mit Pommes) war dann nichtmal zeitgleich fertig. Für die geringe Anzahl an Tischen, wovon ca. die Hälfte schon Essen hatte und zwei Tische sehr viel später erst bestellt haben, sehr erstaunlich. Man könnte meinen was zaubert die Küche da feines, dass es so lange dauert... Pustekuchen! Fleisch war sehr unterschiedlich durch, geschmacklich nun wirklich nichts besonderes (inbesondere Salz scheint ein Fremdwort zu sein). Für das Geld was wir dort ausgegeben haben, hätte ich weit besseres erwartet. Ich kann hier wirklich keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Also fürs Essen würde ich wenn es ginge 6 Sterne geben!! Unfassbar wie gut die Rumpsteak sind. Die Burger sind Laut Kollegen auch top,aber habe selber noch keinen gegessen.Die Jungs machen selber den Service,aber auch da muss ich sagen jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt wenn es machbar ist. Für die die es interessiert,auch die Toiletten sind sauber. Mein Fazit: Wer ein super Rumpsteak essen will ist hier genau richtig!!

Das Essen kam bei uns erst nach 1 1/4 STUNDE! an den Tisch, trotz mehrfachem Nachfragen hat dies unverschämt lange gedauert. Es beschwerten sich auch weitere Gäste über lange Wartezeiten. Währenddessen wurde ein anderer Tisch nur so mit Essen überhäuft und ein Kunde, der nach uns kam, erhielt sein Essen innerhalb von 15 Minuten. Der Service ist okay, kümmerte sich nur leider nicht gut genug. Auf der Toilette hat weder die Spülung funktioniert, noch gab es Toilettenpapier oder Seife. Nachdem wir das Essen dann endlich bekommen haben, war das Steak extrem blutig, obwohl wir Medium bestellt hatten.
