I'm super happy to have found this snack bar! 😍 Super tasty, absolutely lovely older couple, absolutely top value for money!👌👍👍 I drive there specially from Bellheim because the successor from there unfortunately prepares things completely differently than the long-time operators who retired! Yes, it's not modern, but taste, cleanliness and food prepared with love are much more important to me! Hope you stay with us for a long time! 🙏

Specialist in super tasty fish dishes. If you like eating fish you should visit this restaurant. We always enjoy coming here because the staff is friendly, there is a beautiful view of the Rhine and a relaxed atmosphere.

The food was not appropriate for the price-performance ratio and was sometimes cold and not edible. The waitress was very nice 😁.

Visited on May 18, 2025. Found a seat straight away and were ignored by the wait staff. After 15 minutes we were asked what we wanted and given a menu. So short and sweet. Sometime after we ordered we got drinks, then the side salad came and then our schnitzel. The salad was delicious. The schnitzel, the fries and the fried fish are all prepared in the same deep fryer. Everything tastes of fish. The kitchen is much too small and disorganized for so many visitors. 9m2 kitchen, 4 people in there and nothing works. Guests waited in vain for their food, one got food and another at the table didn't. Some were completely forgotten and left annoyed. We were finally done after 2 hours and wanted to pay. Then after another 15 minutes we went back in and paid because we had been forgotten again. Nobody there has a plan or is organized. 6 servers were completely overwhelmed with 40 visitors. All in all, as a restaurant for a day trip, it was terrible. 20 meters further there is self-service, it is certainly better there.

Was complained about because the woman gave me the wrong food!!! 5 minutes later I was insulted in Italian... Plus the Bigmac roll was totally wet... If you ever want to come here your stomach will turn 180° 🤢

We order for 16 people according to the menu on the website. When delivered, almost all dishes were €1.50 to €2 more expensive. That's a disgrace!

Wir hatten mal wieder Lust auf ein leckeres Schnitzel. Fündig wurden wir im Google in Germersheim. Also nix wie hin. Das Restaurant (?) liegt mitten im Wald. Im Sommer sicherlich schön wegen der Außenbestuhlung. Im Restaurant angekommen bemerken wir als erstes, dass der Koch am Stammtisch sitzt und eine Zigarette qualmt. Das geht absolut nicht. Denn es herrscht ein Rauchverbot in Restaurants. Schnell waren die Getränke und das Essen beim sehr freundlichen und höflichen Kellner, der auch der Koch und Eigentümer ist, bestellt. Es ist nun an der Zeit, die Toilette zu begutachten. Ich sage immer, ist das Klo sauber, dann ist auch die Küche entsprechend. Brrrrr, die Pinkelbecken hatten offenbar seit der Montage noch nie ein Reinigungsmittel gesehen. Der Fußboden klebte, die Handtuschrolle (Zewa?) schmuddelig eingeweicht. Auf dem Fußboden überall schwarze Krümel und Mückenleichen (wohl aus den vergangenen Sommern. Zum Essen: Der Beilagen Salat war frisch, aber mit einem Fertigdressing angemacht. Nicht berauschend. Es kommen Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes und einer Rahmsauce. Die Champignons waren frisch. Das unpanierte Schweineschnitzel sehr, sehr trocken gebraten, knorpelig und zäh. Die Sauce sehr dünn und wohl aus dem Päckchen angerührt. An den Tellerrändern seitlich war eine braune Schicht, die an Karamell erinnerte. Mit dem Fingernagel konnte man den verharzten Schutz entfernen. Einfach eklig. Das Weinglas und das Weizenbierglas waren auch nicht frisch gespült. Das nächste Schnitzel werden wir sicherlich nicht essen. Wir vergeben einen Stern, weil wir nicht weniger vergeben können. Leider.

This has nothing to do with fast food - the quality is getting worse and worse. The pace is getting slower. Prices increase but the experience around becomes more modest. The fries stay cold until the rest comes out. Drive in people get their food even though three people are waiting inside. Absolute rubbish! Next time there will be rolls from the tanke. You can't screw it up and it takes less than 15 minutes...

No food there, only toilets. They are only accessible via a relatively long path, which also climbs uphill. Marking male/female The doors are missing, peeled off or similar. Soap/paper towels = none. Bad service there.
