The food was okay, but the fries weren't warm when they arrived. The ambiance inside is beautiful, with only one small drawback: when a lot of people are sitting inside, it gets extremely echoey and becomes a murmuring place.

The salad dressing was excellent. Our meal was a delight. The service was friendly and attentive. THANK YOU MILENA. A great place to eat, even with a toddler. We'd be happy to go again.

My wife and I had lunch there, served by a very friendly Turkish waiter. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the prices were reasonable. Definitely worth a try.

Four of us were there yesterday. The service was friendly and the menu varied. The salad was served buffet-style and included green, carrot, and coleslaw (very meager). We were able to take cutlery and napkins from a holder at the neighboring table. The appetizers arrived quickly and were fine. The main courses were served simultaneously, two of which came with sauces. The food overall looked as if it had been kept warm for a very long time; the sauces had dried on the meat and were no longer liquid. All four dishes looked unappealing. The plates remained on the table for half an hour after the meal and were not cleared away. Going to the restroom also takes some getting used to, as you have to walk past the flushing station. It should be mentioned that we sat outside. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food. It was our first and last visit.

Perfect service, friendly, and courteous. The food was excellent (fire skewers, garlic bread), but a bit too little for a hungry man. The location is simply fantastic, right in the center of the fortress, not far from the Rhine, and the city itself is always worth a visit. I was looking forward to hopefully returning soon.

I had the best Greek steak I've ever had in Germany here. The appetizers that came before the main course were also wonderful. The restaurant is located in a historic building, and the atmosphere was lovely, and the place was very spacious. The waiters were friendly and attentive. We were very pleased with everything, and having Turkish waiters made ordering much easier.

The food was great, we ordered 3 different main courses and a starter, all of them were perfect, the location and atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, the restaurant owners are very attentive and friendly.

Both dishes we ordered were very good. The only thing we deducted was the limited salad bar. The green, carrot, and coleslaw were a bit small.

I had the prawns, and I have to say, the rice was perfect. The tzatziki was also very good, as it should be, and the prawns were also great. The only thing I would criticize is the price… €23.50 for 5 prawns, which I find a bit pricey.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The service is very friendly and attentive. Just like the chef, a true character. The food is excellent and perfectly cooked. I especially love the desserts. A wonderful all-round package, and at a fair price, too.

The atmosphere and service are great but the cuisine is terrible. I was disappointed when I saw the chef smoking cigarettes near the food - that's terrible! Also, sometimes while cooking they drop something on the floor (once it was a piece of meat), just pick it up and continue using it without washing it. I can't believe it's that bad. I can't recommend this restaurant, the quality of the food is not really fresh.

Good inexpensive lunch. Delicious gyros.

My first visit was fine, so I wanted to give the restaurant a second chance. Unfortunately, the food was more disappointing this time - the gyros were again too greasy and the waiting time was a bit long. The biggest shock: there was a half-eaten pepperoni on my plate! An absolute no-go when it comes to hygiene. After this experience, I will think twice about coming back again.

Six of us spontaneously went to the restaurant for dinner. It was very tasty. The portions were more than sufficient and the service was very friendly and accommodating. A friendly and informal atmosphere.

I thought the food was good, I personally ate a garlic spit and I even thought pepperoni was great. But the service, well, if you wanted something to drink you had to say it yourself, and you didn't even have to ask if you wanted something else. When all the glasses were empty, the waitress came and asked if she could clear away the empty glasses... We actually wanted dessert, which we left behind after politely throwing it out.

Went yesterday with my sister and brother-in-law for a rehearsal meal planned for my 75th birthday. My brother-in-law ordered a lamb mix platter was already from the day before. When we were asked at the end if everything was OK, I showed with a piece of the lamb how dry and burnt it was. There was no reaction at all, I just continued as if I had I wouldn't have said anything. I'm very disappointed because I gave the recommendation for the restaurant.

Sunday 19.01 25 have known this restaurant for a long time (Schützenhaus) and have never been here and are disappointed for us today. In contrast to before, the level of food cannot be compared. We had liver once with chips and once with croquettes. Half of the chips were lukewarm, the rest were cold, and the liver was so stringy that it just wasn't possible. The croquettes were hot, the liver was warm and the cooked side dishes were cold, vegetables from the fridge. We think things can get better. It's a shame. This is a momentary review maybe we were just unlucky.

Very nice restaurant, nice attentive service, very good food. We were surprised and happy to have found a new restaurant. There is enough parking space. Location is located in the old restored fortifications. Overall, another win for Germersheim.

We were there for a small Christmas party with colleagues. The service was great, friendly and accommodating. There was a lot of laughter and you felt welcome there. From the starter to the main course to the dessert, everything was really great. The dessert was particularly sensational. We also liked the price/performance and we will definitely go there again.

We were there on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. after making a reservation, the owner was in a bad mood, really stubborn in his manner, he had just received a rejection from his waitress. When we asked about the German white wines at the table, from which winery, "he has had the same farmer for 20 years" great statement, the wine was ..... without words, when ordering he asked which side dishes, we replied that they were on the menu Greek fries, no indication that these cost a surcharge of €1.50 (would have been desirable) We will never come back for this kind of behavior from a manager at the restaurant! We would be ashamed

Whoever understands the negative reviews - they are wrong. We came with 5 people, it was my first time there. I like that there are 2 rooms with the tables because then it's not so loud. The tables are really funny with their rusty wood look. The service staff was very nice, in a good mood and the food was great. Hello all in all, it couldn't be better. Almost, but that's motzen at the highest level, as unfortunately only alcoholic drinks (ouzzo) are offered on the house afterwards. People who don't drink alcohol end up empty-handed... Clear recommendation and it won't be the last time I've been there, I'd love to come back.

Was invited to dinner, the ambience is great because the building is a barracks from the end of the 19th century and some of the spatial conditions were taken over during renovation. The food (Greek and German) is top at a price of 20 to 30€ with a drink which will fill you up.

Don't rate often, but that was really a disappointment... Ordered lunch to be picked up, card payment is only possible from 15€, it's okay, I pay in cash with 20€, the price was 12.80€, and of course I get 7€ back . Gyros is more minced meat than real meat, liver was a mess, fries and salad below average...my last visit there...so you don't get any new customers

Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good. The liver was very hard. There were 6 of us, unfortunately the food came at different intervals. Some were finished while others had just received their food. Unfortunately they can't make rump steak either, I had medium rare and it was done so I let it go back. I then got a new one that was unfortunately rare and cold inside.

We were a group of 4 and ordered typical Greek dishes... and none of them were anything like what you're used to from other Greeks... gyros cut like kebabs and wobbly meat. Bifteki tasted very modest and Suflaki Spiess was well done, but dry and extremely seasoned (you should probably drink a lot). The beer was also poor...when the beer was complained about, this was exchanged, but it still tasted stale and uncarbonated...when asked about the poor quality of the meat, they said the cook is Greek...he knows what he's doing. ..otherwise the place seems to be in Bulgarian hands. Maybe you should offer Bulgarian cuisine instead of trying Greek cuisine...Stay away from this restaurant.

We visited this restaurant based on the good reviews. It was an absolute failure. The salad wasn't dressed, the octopus was totally over salted and there were so many herbs that you couldn't taste any octopus at all. My partner's vegetables were completely overcooked - almost like a vegetable puree, the meat was so soft that it didn't taste good either and was not seasoned. The service was very attentive and the room was attractive.

We enjoyed a Poseidon Platter for 2 here last night. The salad was fresh and tasty, the meat was juicy and fried to perfection. The rice and fries were delicious and the tzatziki was great too. There was also a very friendly waiter who offered us an ouzo or espresso on the house at the end. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

The store is so huge, you can go there with a lot of people even without a reservation. The portions are all large, so I could only manage senior plates, luckily the employee was very nice and allowed it😄 I had 200g rump steak 8/10, with fries and salad, it was delicious. And I also had Galaktoboureko for dessert 8/10, I found it too sweet but still tasty.

The food is good. Portions good size. You can also order food. We've already done it. What I don't like is that it echoes so much inside. Always reminds me of a train station hall. It's more pleasant outside in summer. But that's my personal feeling.

Went for lunch on Thursday. Pleasant atmosphere, attentive service. You can also choose outside of the lunch menu. We had two starters, a main course from the lunch menu as well as espresso and a wonderful mocha. Chicken soup was very tasty, gyros (for me) not hot, cooled down quickly. Liver was excellent & the vegetable rice was good. Conclusion: I've already put together a menu in my head for next time, I'm looking forward to it 🙏🤗

Super schmeckt einfach klasse vor allem zaziki.Alles andere auch.Mittagstisch spitze günstig sehr gut.Personal immer auf zack und sehr freundlich. Auswahl 👍 gut.Wir fahren öfters hin weil es so lecker ist.Vor allem Hund ist erlaubt.Es gibt leider Restaurants wo wir mit unserer kleinen nicht hin dürfen obwohl sie nur unterm Tisch sitzt oder liegt.

Ganz tolle Bedienung, dass Essen und die Vorspeise, ein Traum, Preis völlig in Ordnung würde immer wieder hin gehen.

Freundliches Personal, Ambiente gut, ABER das wichtigste (das Essen!) war absolut nicht zufriedenstellend. Das Zanderfilet erhielt mehr Gräten als Fleisch und war nicht essbar, ohne den Fisch bis ins Kleinste mit dem Messer zu sezieren. Da vergeht einem die Lust am essen komplett.

Wir gehen öfters hin zum mittagstisch Essen super klasse und günstig. Jeder Zeit wieder am Wochenende sollte man Tisch bestellen. Da es sich rumgesprochen hat das es so super gut ist.

Heute Abend mal hier zum Essen gewesen. Es gab die Nummer 117 Gyros mit Bifteki einmal mit Reis und das andere mal mit Pommes dazu Imiglikos und Samos. Trotz Seniorenteller war es für uns genug. Alles sehr lecker leider wird es schnell kalt auf dem Teller da diese nicht vorgewärmt werden

Auf der Terrasse wie immer toll! Ebenfalls die Gerichte, einziges Manko, das Gyros hätte knuspriger sein dürfen. Ansonsten alles top!

Ein tolles Lokal mit einer tollen Außenanlage komplett überdacht und auch bei Regen zu Besuchen. Ist unter Griechischer Leitung. Perfekt.

Das Salatbufett war sehr übersichtlich , das Essen geschmacklich gut. Etwas lieblos angerichtet. Leider kamen die Getränke erst mitten beim Essen. Man sitzt sehr schön dort auf der Terasse. Wir würden tatsächlich dem Restaurant nochmal ne Chance geben .
