Friendly service, tasty food! Good value for money

Small, fine menu. The meze plate with chicken skewer or vegetarian is my favorite. The meat is always tender and very seasoned. The salads are also very good. The service is always very friendly and quick. The inner courtyard was redesigned a few years ago and invites you to sit outside even in hot temperatures. The restaurant itself is also cozy. Price / offer: Very good. There are parking spaces in the surrounding streets. I didn't find a bike stand.

What a surprise! Rather inconspicuous from the outside and rather atypical upon entering. When it comes to Greeks, we expect clichés such as statues and sculptures, wall paintings and pictures of the harbor with fishing boats, nets and southern beauties. Totally non-existent. The restaurant is simply decorated and doesn't feel Greek at all. I'm skeptical as to whether I'm in the right place here. The welcome is friendly and warm, the menu served meets expectations. The prices are moderate. There are three of us and we order the mixed appetizer platter for two people, with the note that we will divide it by three. Then everyone orders a typical plate with bifteki, skewers, steak and so on. The drinks arrive quickly, we wait a while for the starter, but within time. We talk about the fact that unfortunately in southern cuisine you often end up with completely overcooked, dry meat and that the change to modern cuisine is often very slow. The starter arrives and 3 plates are set. Very attentive. The starter plate is plentiful and enough for 3. We immediately fell in love with the taste. Spicy and with all Mediterranean flavors. Really very tasty. The salad for the main course is brought beforehand. I like this very much. It tastes very good. Crunchy, fresh and mainly homemade. Class! Then come our grill plates with fries. Decent portions. We are honestly thrilled. The meat is grilled juicy, slightly pink and very well seasoned. We didn't expect that. We are very positively surprised. Whether bifteki, gyros or steak, there is not the slightest thing to complain about. Bravo, we like to be surprised. It was a completely satisfactory, even inspiring visit to the restaurant. If we now work a little on the Greek look, it will be a Greek after my own heart. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Whether what you are served is actually typical Greek food... I would describe the quality of the food as miserable: fries are fried very lightly and remain flimsy, instead of cross, meat is dripping with frying fat, salad cream from the bottle instead of vinaigrette with olive oil. The draft beer is poorly tapped. 2-4 prepared bowls of beer are briefly poured over with foam and served to the customer as a pilsner with tulip. Grilled bread with garlic cream: the cream is already spread on the bread and makes it inedible for my taste buds and eyes. The service - well...polite and friendly. The free ouzo after the payment process does not add any value to the visit. Unfortunately, this has been the case for years and it seems as if Germersheim's food culture is still at the lowest level. Thank God there is now the Pan for the absolute enjoyment of food and drink.

Lekker Grieks restaurant. Als je een kamer boekt in het hotel op deze locatie, krijg je ook een heel lekker ontbijt.

Ich mach's kurz: Für mich seit Jahren schon der beste Grieche im Kreis! Essen top, Service & Qualität top. Toiletten sehr sauber und gepflegt. Beilagensalat wie es sich gehört, viele bekommen so einen nicht hin. Absolute Empfehlung!
