Conditionally. Very nice ambiance with a great view. Food is average at a high price. What's absolutely unacceptable is the arrogance of the waiters. Upon arrival, they tell you that everything is occupied except for the remaining seats, and the entire day they remain empty. Then they curse and talk about you in front of the guests. A shame, and never again.

For us, eating here is always a highlight. We feel incredibly comfortable. The food is delicious, especially the grilled pepperoni with homemade garlic sauce. We'll definitely be back! 😍

Super-friendly hosts, child-friendly, and still absolutely great value for money. Aperol for under €7.00. The food was fine for us, but that's a matter of taste :-) We would come back!

Nice Greek restaurant with direct mooring for boats

We went there for the first time. The location was lovely, even in the rain (they have a large awning, which works really well). The service was friendly and attentive. I have to say the food is delicious! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. We'll be happy to come back.

Today was my 10th visit to the Poseidon restaurant. The chef's schnitzel is absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The atmosphere is fantastic. The terrace is beautiful. The hosts are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Highly recommended for a stopover with good food and an idyllic view! However, when the party starts, you'll hardly be able to hear your own voice.

Very friendly service, delicious food (the fries are truly top-notch), and a pleasant atmosphere, hence the five stars. However, the value for money/quantity is a bit limited, as for just under €20 (gyros and the like), everyone should be able to eat their fill, but the portions are rather modest.

You can dock your boat directly here and enjoy a beautiful view of Germersheim Harbor. We had a good meal, and everyone was happy. Two hours flew by. We'll be back.

A very nice spot right on the Rhine! The Poseidon restaurant in the Germersheim boathouse is a cozy, family-run Greek restaurant with a great atmosphere. The rump steak is especially highly recommended – perfectly prepared and delicious. Everything is cooked to order, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back to enjoy the beautiful terrace overlooking the Rhine. A definite recommendation for anyone who loves good food and a relaxed atmosphere!

In principle, yes. But tonight we had poor service. The food is good, the place wasn't too busy (7 p.m.), but we weren't served in a friendly manner. Not getting any ouzo as a farewell treat with a bill of almost €85 (which was always mandatory at the (cheaper) lunch menu) was disappointing, and we're now wondering whether we want to reschedule our reservation for a larger event, as we're afraid that, despite having a reservation, we'll be served so poorly again...

I ordered the simplest dish on the menu - which is also the one by which the kitchen's grilling skills can best be measured: gyros with tzatziki and fries. But what came on the plate after 5 minutes was briefly warmed, coarsely chopped meat, which was fibrous and also smelled of liver. Very unfortunate. Fries were good. The first photo here in Google Maps (a kind of gyros wrap) whet my appetite and made me come here - but as far as I could see, they don't exist in this restaurant. The first and last time here. Visit was on May 22nd, 2022.

I can only confirm the bad reviews. Just underground...the food as well as the service. We have rarely eaten so badly. I had an "athletic salad - lots of fresh seasonal salads with grilled chicken breast fillet" and my husband had the "Metaxa skewer (pork fillet skewer) with homemade Metaxa sauce, cheese, peppers, onions, lettuce and a side dish of your choice. The "fresh seasonal salads" consisted of a simple, no longer fresh salad and a meat side dish that didn't have much in common with chicken breast fillet. The salad remained almost untouched because it wasn't really edible and the extremely "friendly" waitress was very surprised that it wasn't tasty Metaxa skewer wasn't quite as horrible, the side dish (fries) was the best thing about this dish. Our conclusion: We wouldn't come here again for dinner, maybe for a coffee.....

Ended up there by chance. The service was very friendly. Our food came quickly. We have never eaten such bad gyros. Meat hard and tasteless not to mention the toasted bread with garlic. Not recommendable.

All respect for what Greek gastronomy has to offer here. It was my first time at POSEIDON and I enjoyed the all-round package. Again and again!

It's a shame, we were there on May 1st and actually wanted to have a drink. Were greeted very unfriendly and not served after 15 minutes. There is no money to be made from me in the future either. Sorry, it doesn't work at all. A table was occupied and it had 5 waitresses.

We were there on a sunny day. Very calming and beautiful view. Delicious food, cocktail and great service. Lovely again. I would only advise you to always reserve in advance as it was always full that day. Especially the outside area.

We're going there again. Price-performance ratio okay. Side salad included with many dishes.

It was our first time there and not our last. Very satisfied. The tenants are super friendly and are currently preparing the outside terrace, which is really beautiful in summer. Family business. Prices are great in contrast to other restaurants that have opened up. Quality of the meat is really top. Hats off.

It's a miracle that they still exist. Never eaten anything worse. Or tried to eat. Went to the Turks and got Yufkas. Never again! Avoid!!!

Sehr zuvor kommendes Personal, Speisen sind sehr großzügig. Man sollte schon sehr großen Hunger haben wenn man Vorspeise und Hauptgang essen möchte. Preisleistung ist hier in Ordnung. Sehrschöne Aussenterasse mit Blick auf den Rhein.

Das Ambiente auf der Terrasse ist sehr sehr schön. Direkter Blick auf den Rhein. Das Essen war so lala. Das Fleisch war leider zu Trocken. Geschmacklich ok. Die Portionen für mich persönlich zu klein

Die Lage ist schön, das Essen war qualitativ schlechter, als beim alten Besitzer.

Das Ambiente im Außenbereich ist echt schön. Die Bedienung war etwas seltsam. Mal war sie sehr freundlich und beim nächsten Mal, als sie am Tisch war, war sie sehr wortkarg. Das Essen war ok. Die Pommes waren sehr fettig, das Chefschnitzel und der Putenspieß waren gut.

Ein super klasse Restaurant nur der Zugang ist für manche erschwerlich.Da ich nicht gut über Brücken laufen kann hat es etwas gedauert bis ich da war .Aber das Essen hat es wieder gut gemacht.Und die Lage direkt am Rhein einfach fantastisch.

War das erste mal und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Mittagstisch 3 Gerichte zur Auswahl oder die Karte. Preise sind human, die Aussicht ist jedoch der Hammer.

Gemütliche Lokal, Schöne Ausblick, leckere Speisen

War zufällig in der Gegend für ein paar Tage unterwegs. Beim ersten Besuch wurde ich so herzlich von Personal und Betreibern empfangen, dass mir mir sofort klar war, das wird mein Stammlokal für die Zeit die ich da bin. Das Essen war köstlich und Preisleistung sehr gut. Am Sonntag war noch eine Veranstaltung mit Livemusik. Alle Gäste und ich hatten eine echt schöne Zeit bei traumhafter Atmosphäre. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Alles in allem ein perfekter Ort um was tolles zu Essen und das Ambiente im Hafen ist ebenfalls sehr schön.
