An insider tip in Germersheim! The rooms are very tastefully decorated, modern, clean, and very spacious. The bathroom is a dream! Furthermore, the young man who welcomed us was very friendly, and the breakfast staff were also incredibly welcoming. It was a truly wonderful experience, unbeatable for the price in the area. Thank you very much. If we're back in Germersheim, we definitely want to stay at this hotel again!

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Festung in Germersheim and were greeted with great friendliness upon arrival. The price for our double room was €120 – including breakfast for both of us. The room was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was renovated, the windows could be completely darkened, and the bed was very comfortable. We would particularly like to highlight the breakfast – it was fresh, delicious, and plentiful, and they even prepared fresh scrambled eggs for us upon request. Our room was in a separate building at the rear of the courtyard, where there are only a few units – so it was extremely quiet; we didn't hear a single other guest. We were completely satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

We were looking for a room to stay overnight for a wedding in Germersheim. Since the Hotel Kleine Festung was close to the festival location, we decided on it. The reservation was easy and the manager of the hotel was super friendly on the phone. Checking in earlier on the day of arrival was also possible without any problems. Our room was very spacious and lovingly furnished. The breakfast was prepared with so much love and nothing was missing. The service was always very friendly and helpful. We can recommend the Hotel Kleine Festung without reservations. Thank you for everything!

Overall, it was quite pleasant. However, the room was freezing cold, which just about negates the good.

A wonderful hotel that stands out from others in terms of its customer focus. I would like to give more stars, we felt so comfortable there. Super warm operators, beautiful, newly renovated rooms and a great location about 800m walk to the Rhine. The breakfast was a dream, served at the table so great and lovingly decorated! When we are in the area again, our first stop is always the Hotel “Kleine Festung” Thank you for everything!!!

Best Place to stay - A very friendly Atmosphere

A nice little hotel right in the city center. Still lies quiet. The streets are almost all one-way and have parking spaces with their own parking spaces. Thanks to the friendly Lotzin on the phone, since I obviously didn't read the confirmation completely, I had to guide myself to the parking space. Friendly welcome and escorted to the room. The room is great on a side street. Great bathroom. And best restaurant in the house. The breakfast was optimal. Served at the table and personally coordinated. Simply great

Return journey from Bern to Krefeld and stop at the small fortress in Germersheim. This stopover was a direct hit this time. Super nice room on the second floor, completely renovated. Nice modern and large bathroom. We had parking right in front of the entrance and the expensive e-bikes could be safely stored in the enclosed courtyard. Dinner, super delicious Greek cuisine. But there was nothing to complain about, it was really good and tasty. The innkeepers are extremely nice and helpful. The highlight was the breakfast. No buffet, but everything arranged at the table just like with friends. Everything fine and very appetizing. We travel a lot and see a lot of hotels. The small fortress in Germersheim is a real gem and the price for booking by phone and not by booking was great. Thanks again, Martina and Frank

It was incredibly beautiful... Starting with the super friendly check-in, to the really great room with a fantastic walk-in rain shower, to the incredibly sweet breakfast, which was beautifully served at the table and rounded off with warm conversations with the operator. WE would love to come back when we are in Speyer.
