My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Festung in Germersheim and were greeted with great friendliness upon arrival. The price for our double room was €120 – including breakfast for both of us. The room was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was renovated, the windows could be completely darkened, and the bed was very comfortable. We would particularly like to highlight the breakfast – it was fresh, delicious, and plentiful, and they even prepared fresh scrambled eggs for us upon request. Our room was in a separate building at the rear of the courtyard, where there are only a few units – so it was extremely quiet; we didn't hear a single other guest. We were completely satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Good tasty food and friendly service

The owner is a very hospitable Turkish gentleman. We ordered lamb skewers and liked it. Salads, dressing, fries were all fresh and delicious.

Highly recommended, very nice staff, and the food was delicious. View fantastic.

The food was not appropriate for the price-performance ratio and was sometimes cold and not edible. The waitress was very nice 😁.
