The service was top – especially the young lady with the curly hair was attentive, friendly and very helpful.
The wine recommendation was appropriate and good. Unfortunately there were some weaknesses in the kitchen: A starter was very (!) dry (duck), but was replaced by a juicier version after an apology. Why not just like that?
Unfortunately, the tagliatelle for the main course wasn't fresh and tasted warmed up, which was disappointing given the price. The chicken was good, the ratatouille was mediocre. At the end there was dessert on the house – a nice gesture. Overall, a mixed evening in which the service shined, but the kitchen wasn't entirely convincing!
The request not to take any photos during the meal also left a negative aftertaste. This was quite surprising as there were no visible signs about it. We found this totally unnecessary and inappropriate! Even when we told the male waiter this, we were met with little understanding. This further spoiled the overall impression. If we come back again, we hope for a more “well-rounded” evening!
We stayed in the small hotel for the last weekend in April and felt very comfortable. The service was great, our room was comfortable and the location was perfect for us. We were also warmly welcomed at check-in. We can only warmly recommend the hotel and will definitely come back.
Cozy restaurant with good food. There is an evening menu from which you choose three courses in advance. There is also soup, salads and an extensive selection of cheese that you can get from the buffet.
We wanted to eat here on the terrace today. Unfortunately, the 18 degrees Celsius was too cold for the waitress to offer service on the terrace. It's disappointing when the waitress is so inflexible that they don't even want to accept self-service. I don't even want to mention the atmosphere. Very disappointing.
The Eulenspiegel is somewhat hidden in the residential area. When you come in you find a modern interior, absolutely fine, without any ahhh effect.
The menu is manageable and rather small for a steakhouse. The service was nice and attentive. The food was good, the meat was very good, but the price was also close to the limit...
Visited the Alter Moselbahnhof this week.
We had tarte flambée with Gorgonzola and Palatinate Saumagen (sausage stomach) with Winzergräwes (wine-making gravy).
It was absolutely delicious, we'd go back anytime.
Friendly service.
A definite 5 stars
