Unfortunately, everything in general has deteriorated.
The food is inedible and in my opinion not much is suitable for breakfast.
The furniture and dishes are carelessly prepared. It's not like it used to be.
Sad but true.
Several of us ate salt, snails, and shrimp in olive oil. It was unbelievably bad. The salad dressing, the sauce for the snails, and the "supposed" olive oil were all identical. Unbelievable!
Unfortunately, today was a complete disappointment! We ordered the naan twice, which was so delicious last time (our first time), and only managed to taste it because it was so dry that we couldn't eat it. It's being thrown away. A waste of money! The Turkish pizza "with everything" was so thinly topped that we thought it was a roll with nothing on it. We've never experienced that before. It tasted acceptable, but cold (as was the naan, by the way). The Indian dish was at least warm and delicious. The aioli was tasty too. Too bad, overall, it wasn't anything today!
Absolutely recommended! The owner and his wife are so nice and the food was really great! Small and really cozy! And the prices are great too! We had a great evening
A table was assigned, but 15 minutes later, we hadn't even been able to order drinks. When someone finally came to tell us that our table was already reserved, that was it. We certainly won't be going back. Not so bad, though, because the background noise was like a jet taking off. IMPOSSIBLE.
As a spontaneous walk-in customer after visiting the zoo, we were "allowed" to try out the Star Chief Diner again after years. This store has long since left its heyday behind. An unfortunately run-down diner that has forgotten that it actually has a motto.
The operation could improve significantly in terms of service and family friendliness.
The shame, however, is the food. The burger patties are, at best, of poor quality and contain pieces of bone, cartilage or some other indefinable hard ingredients. No spice. Lettuce mushy and brownish in places. A salad cocktail sauce made it onto the burger as a burger sauce. The fries were cold and mushy.
For this “feast” in the form of two, admittedly large, burgers with three fries and three drinks, we were allowed to pay a comparatively high sum of over €60.
Never again.
I would like to not give a single star but unfortunately it doesn't work!
We only drank one soup and it really didn't taste good at all, the lentil soup wasn't lentil soup but tasted bland, like flour. In addition, charging €2.60 for water is probably an impudence! Water, cola, etc. are billed at the same price. I understand making a profit, but not with water that costs 25 cents to buy and can be found in every Turkish supermarket for 50 cents!!
Our favorite local Greek restaurant. The restaurant is long-established and the food is always very good. The boss and the entire staff are very nice and we always feel very welcome there. It is important to reserve a table as it is always busy.
Update....the restaurant has unfortunately been closed forever since the end of January 25th. According to the notice, renovation work is underway. An Indian restaurant will be opening later!!!!
I've been ordering exactly the same pizza over and over again for six months (about twice a month).
There were a few times where I called after waiting around 1.5-2 hours and only then would it be delivered. It's not that bad, but the last time was really bold. The pizza came on a completely different, very thin dough, had a lot less toppings on it and was cold. I had a feeling that this pizza would be quickly snatched up after I called. It really wasn't tasty.
I ordered the same thing again today and was confused to see that there was suddenly new covering on it.
Apparently I've been delivered 'incomplete' pizzas before and I was confused when I saw the real thing
I would have otherwise given the shop 4 stars, but the pizza from last time was really off-putting
I bought a kebab for 7.50
The man was friendly but the kebab was disgusting. I told him everything except onions, please. He made everything with onions too😡 even the meat was burnt and the lettuce hadn't been changed for a month and tasted 0. I would never recommend buying a kebab. I would rather go to Anadolu Bakery and eat kebab and pizza much better than me. I would never recommend going to this shop 😡😡
