Super good bakery, it's a shame that you can't sit down at the moment due to current circumstances

Hygiene and service underground. When I came in there was a strange smell in the store. The store was empty and two employees were sitting bored at the window playing on their cell phones. The young man with dark hair did not respond to my request to toast the sub a little longer. He just said: I have it.” No, he didn’t, the bread was soggy. While he was toasting the bread, I noticed the many flies of different sizes and colors that were especially around the topping. I tried to hide my disgust, but I probably didn't succeed. When I was collecting the money, I pointed out to the employee that she had a “fly problem,” to which he simply replied dryly, “That’s not my job.” The other blonde employee didn’t seem to be interested in this either. The indifference and disinterest of the two people could be seen on their faces. The meal, which cost just under €10, ended up in the trash can - I lost my appetite. I am aware that the employees don't earn 20€ an hour at Subway, I don't expect highly motivated and extremely friendly employees, but you can expect a certain level of service. For me the last time, generally at Subway, because if the hygiene should be like that everywhere, no thanks. In the future I'll only go to the Turkish kebab shop next door, the hygiene there is at least good and they're nice on top of that. Not a recommendation from me, but a piece of advice to the owner: good staff is hard to find and in times of skilled labor shortages it's even harder. But before I hire people who ruin my business with such an attitude, I would rather put myself there as boss or pay more, otherwise you could close the shop. Or the health department will do it at some point.
