Went there for the first time yesterday following a recommendation. Food freshly prepared and very tasty. Textbook service. Ambiance to feel good and linger, had a table with a beautiful view of the sunset over the city. Price/performance very good. We'd love to come by again.

I was at La Vela on January 18, 2025 and was positively surprised. I had a tapas platter for two, which was very delicious, and the quantity was just right, not too much and not too little. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. The staff very polite and attentive. In terms of price, you have to pay a bit, but the quality and quantity are justifiable.

Actually a nice alternative to the Italians and Greeks in Kaltenkirchen. Unfortunately, the performance during the visits was not convincing; not much was right on the last visit. Wrong dish, wrong side dishes and inattentive service. Too bad.
