Wattwurm in Niebüll

Although the closing time was 11 p.m., we were kindly informed around 10 p.m. that it would soon be closing. It's a shame the ambience is very dignified and cozy! We only had 1 drink each, more than that was possible in 1/2 hour. 😉

Delicious food at reasonable prices, as well as fast and very friendly service. The restaurant has retained its personal touch and appears authentic, which means it stands out from its stylish competitors in a pleasant way. The menu contains what you would expect when visiting such a place.👍🏻

The food was good, the service from two young people was wonderful and courteous.

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time in the evening today. Somehow the lugworm has simply been forgotten. It was really really tasty. We had Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes. The schnitzel was very tender and well seasoned. The fried potatoes were also just right. Well seasoned and crispy with fried bacon. The accompanying vegetables are still crunchy. The service was extremely courteous and friendly. Seemed more like a family. We'll probably come here more often now. Really recommended. Unfortunately no photos available. We went straight to eating.

Very tasty food, everything tasted very good. The only disadvantage is that you can only pay in cash and not with an EC card at the time I was there.

Cozy, rustic restaurant where women can feel comfortable even alone.

Yesterday we were in the lugworm for the second time and again it was very nice there. Delicious food at really fair prices. Plus really great and friendly service. Everything fits together for a lovely evening. You should reserve a table on Friday and Saturday. The lugworm is no longer an insider tip :-)

Værten var meget uforskammet og meget uhøflig. Værten smed os ud, fordi han ikke mente vi hørte hjemme i hans beværtning. Maden var ringe og servicen var super dårlig. Er ungt par bag disken var meget serviceminded, men ejeren gav dem ikke lov til at tjene os.

When the sidewalks are folded up in the rest of Niebüll, you will find a cozy pub here that also serves very good, home-style food. Highly recommended, also because of the really friendly service.

Wirklich schlechtes Essen. Wir hatten Lachs bestellt,, der teuer war und nicht erwartet, dass es nur alles aus der Packung stammte und im Fett schwamm.

Cozy restaurant with a great range of food. The burgers were really big and tasty and the jacket potato with crab was great. Because we got there shortly before the kitchen closed, the waitress was really patient with our youngest, who couldn't really make a decision because everything sounded delicious. We would love to come back, we felt comfortable 😀

The best sour meat, as far as I know the dish, matjes with fried potatoes is a delight, the Jägerschnitzel not with any sauce, but with delicious fried fresh mushrooms - plus a cozy atmosphere and friendly service! Great!

The “lugworm” was wonderful. The service was great and accommodating. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. The only drawback is that payment is only possible in cash. To be honest, we hardly had any cash on us, but luckily we withdrew it shortly beforehand. But otherwise the “lugworm” is recommended.

We googled that you could eat well here. We looked for a spot outside in one of the beach chairs and waited briefly until we were served. The young staff made it extremely friendly and authentic... You always felt welcomed and were able to have a humorous conversation. The food we ordered, the lugworm burger with fried potatoes, was really delicious and huge 🤭😂 You should consider sharing a side dish for two, as the hamburger is quite a mega burger. Drinks were also delicious, including the recommended schnapps. So - highly recommended to stop here.

Very good food ala "Grandma's" homemade sour meat! Delicious crispy fried potatoes or lugworm pan (pork loins with fried potatoes, vegetables and hollandaise sauce, also as a vegetarian version with cheese) "Very tasty" for the 'small' hunger simply a la flute or fries. The staff is attentive and friendly. Would love to come back.

A real original - it can't be bad where the locals feel comfortable. We were welcomed very warmly and sat really comfortably. The food was super delicious - zander fillet with fried potatoes and baked potatoes with crabs. Were there again the next day. Again super friendly and the food - matjes with fried potatoes - was great again. Another delicious dessert and a “clean-up” and the evening couldn’t have ended better. Thank you very much for the great hospitality - unfortunately we have to go back home. Come again!

Again it was very nice. Great food and nice service. Great steaks, delicious La Flutes - definitely try them with garlic sauce! The burgers are also very good! Unfortunately it was very warm in the restaurant and the window was only opened upon request. There are fans under the ceiling but unfortunately they are not switched on. Nobody knew anything about it. Update: went there again yesterday. Great as always. Food very good. We'd love to come back. Update: Good and friendly as always. See you next time.

Very pleasant location with perfect service and good food with reasonable prices. Unfortunately there is a depressing exception that brings everything down: only cash payment (!), but the service staff can't do anything about that, the operator is probably still behind the times here.

We had the schnitzel with asparagus and fried potatoes. The asparagus was baked with hollandaise sauce and cheese. Plus a draft beer. It was super delicious. For summer days, the restaurant also offers seats in front of the house.

Great food prices more than okay. For people who are very hungry, I recommend the lugworm pan, but you have to be really hungry. I was sent out of the restaurant as an individual! There were at least 4 tables available, but the waitress said: “They are big tables and several people can come at once”. The “boss” confirmed it and said there was no room for me. What a money-hungry, pathetic host! Zero service and hospitality!

Nice place. Still has the charm of an old inn. Good food and nice, attentive service. Table reservation is recommended because it is very busy. Prices are ok. I can recommend it!!!

War ein bisschen kalt im Restaurant deshalb einen Punkt weniger

Vorab möchte ich erstmal erwähnen, dass wir keine Menschen sind, die sehr hohe Ansprüche stellen oder Dekadenz mögen. Das Ambiente war ganz nett, es war nichts gezwungen und man hatte eine relativ lockere und bunt gemischte Gesellschaft. Das Essen war üppig und lecker. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es aber, da meine Lebensgefährtin eine tote Raupe in ihrem Salat hatte und es leider dafür nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung oder ähnliches gab. **Und nein, das zeugt nicht von Frische, so etwas sollte nicht passieren ;)** Schade fanden wir persönlich, dass es kaum Fischgerichte auf der Karte gab. Aber das nur am Rande. Der Service war OK, allerdings waren die "Kellner" noch sehr jung (u.M.n auch nicht volljährig, das kann aber auch täuschen) und das hat man leider auch gemerkt. Da fehlte dann die Routine/Erfahrung und in Jogginghosen sollte man auch nicht unbedingt Gäste bedienen ;) Alles in allem war der Abend dennoch ganz nett. Wenn wir schön essen gehen wollen, gehen wir dann aber lieber doch zukünftig woanders hin.

We needed a place where to crash waiting for the train to Sylt on a dark and cold Sunday evening. Great cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. You have to try the Hawaii toast.

Super netten Abend mit bastel verrückten Frauen und teilweise mit ihren Männern verbracht. Chef vom ganzen super nett und lustig in schöner nordfrisischer Art. Danke !

Urige, gemütliche Kneipe mit freundlichem Chef und freundlichem Service und freundlichennGästen. Keine haute cuisine, aber leckeres Essen. Hunde willkommen, wenn „ die nicht beissen, kläffen oder auf den Tisch steigen. Dann werden wir konsequent“. Wir kommen wieder!

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Die Bratkartoffeln sind einfach grandios. Der kleine Beilagen Salat ist selbst gemacht und auch sehr lecker. Ich hatte Fisch dazu, hervorragend zubereitet, das Sauerfleisch meiner Begleitung war nicht mein Fall, aber er hat es gefeiert. Empfangen wurden wir mit: ja essen könnt ihr, aber entschiedet euch schnell. Bei der großen Karte gar nicht so einfach. Aus den verschiedensten Schilderungen anderer Besucher wussten wir was uns erwartet. Aber wir taten wie uns geheißen. Das Essen kam auch sehr schnell zum Tisch. Es war wie gesagt sehr lecker. Auffallend viele ortsansässige Gruppen treffen sich dort. Das freut mich, weil die lokale Gastronomie nicht ausschließlich auf den Tourismus angewiesen ist.

Ambiente und Essen einfach super. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kann ein Besuch nur empfehlen.

Wir waren im Wattwurm zum ersten Mal. Alles war stimmig. Sonderwünsche wurden, soweit möglich, erfüllt. Dieses Lokal können wir, meine Frau und ich, bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Nur wer es Rustikal mag. Ohne Schnickschnack. Einfach nur toll. Gerne wieder. Empfehlenswert.

Wir waren begeistert, hatten im Biergarten einen super Platz im Strandkorb, eine sehr nette Servicekraft und die Speise vom Super Koch/Köchin zubereitet. Geschmacklich vollkommen, das Fassbier vom Feinsten und wohl temperiert. Dieses Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Bis jetzt können wir nur positives berichten, was Service und Gastronomie betrifft.

Essen war okay, aber durch die Corona-Beschränkungen ist der Gastraum in Bereiche aufgeteilt und trotzdem war's ziemlich laut. Und wir hatten eine ungemütliche Ecke erwischt ...

Essen vor der Tür, im Restaurant oder im Garten - alles möglich. Nudelgerichte, Burger, Flammkuchen und mehr - die Karte ist reichlich gefüllt; und das alles zu fairen Preisen. Tina, die Servicekraft, macht einen tollen Job. Und lecker war es auch.
