This is a very nice restaurant. You can sit outside, and if you're lucky, you might even find a beach chair available. The food is very plentiful. Highly recommended. The service is also very friendly.

We have just been to this place again, you get good service and good food, we chose snitzel and burger, it tasted really good. Then we were there 2 days later, there were 8 of us and we ordered different things, it was all good ☺ Sincerely, Karin Christensen Aalborg We have just been here again 😇but unfortunately we had to wait 50 minutes for our food, we ordered Burgers 🍔 and they first had to beat the dough and bake the buns 🥲it was a bit tedious 💁🏼‍♀️but a nice place 👍🥂

Wir haben unseren letzten Urlaubsabend hier verbracht und lecker gegessen. Portionen waren groß- Preis-Leistung kann auch in Urlaubsregionen stimmen. Service war klasse, sehr nette Bedienung, die viel Sinn für Humor hatte.

Hearty home cooking Good value for money. Tip: Fresh vegetables instead of frozen with hollandaise sauce would complete the experience. We enjoyed it and would go back again.

Inspired by the good reviews, we went to Wattwurm today. After checking in at the counter, we were offered a table, which we gladly accepted. Our dog was no problem at all. The Flens on tap arrived quickly and was just as delicious as my wife's Pinot Gris. The food – Wattwurm pancakes and schnitzel with a fried egg and fried potatoes – was excellent and perfectly sized. We were more than satisfied. I would also like to highlight the very friendly and unobtrusive service. The only thing that is completely outdated is the restriction to cash payments – but that doesn't deduct any points because the food and service were so impressive.

Kendte ikke stedet på forhånd. Men blev i den grad overrasket. Her var god plads da Vi ankom omkring kl 18.00 Personalet fik Os hurtigt anbragt i en krog af restauranten og der kom hurtigt øl og rødvin på bordet. Spisekortet er med masser af god mad på menuen. Det blev til Schnitzler af forskellig variant. Der var masser af mad og den var veltilberedt. Og det smagte forbandet godt. Mine/Vores bedste anbefaling. Vi kommer gerne igen. Et lille tips. Pas på med at brug bandeord. På dette sted forstår de sgu Dansk !!!!! Det kom der meget sjov ud af ! Det er ikke muligt at betale med Kreditkort. Only Cach.

Our detour from the car train to Niebüll today was worth it, because we discovered this comfortably furnished restaurant. We received such a warm welcome and service, and after a short wait, our food arrived. The surf and turf was so delicious, and the jacket potatoes with quark and prawns were also delicious. We say thank you again and will definitely be back 😋😋😋👍👍👍 Quick update: We were here again today after our vacation and can only praise it. The asparagus soup was delicious, as were the schnitzel with asparagus and the sauerfleisch (the small portion is huge) simply delicious 😋 We received very friendly service and say thank you and see you next time 👋

Very tasty and filling. My jacket potato with crab was delicious. My friend had asparagus with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were really greasy and very dark. He ate them. I would have refused to eat them and asked for the fried potatoes to be corrected.

The Wattwurm is an older but very cozy restaurant, with rustic decor and a gallery of paintings. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. We'll definitely be back.

A nice restaurant with lots of local dishes

Beim Betreten der Gaststube möchte man sich einen Überblick verschaffen, wird aber vom jungen präpotenten Kellner zurück gewiesen, mit den Worten: "Hier steht ein Schild: Sie haben sich am Tresen anzumelden!" Unser Wunsch: "Wir würden gerne etwas essen." wird damit beantwortet: "Erstmal, dort steht ein Schild! Sie müssen sich am Tresen anmelden, und außerdem sind alle Tische reserviert!" Vier Tische wsren frei!! Bei so einer Einstellung dem Gast gegenüber, gibt es nur eines: "Tschüss und nie wieder!" Gäste sind keine Bittsteller und ein Kellner sollte eine Ausbildung haben, die das respektiert!

Ich hatte 4 Exponate Aquarelle im Wattwurm hängen , die abgeholt weil ich sie weil ich sie verkaufte! Gegessen habe ich nicht , es war aber gut besucht!

We were able to spontaneously reserve a table for dinner today. It was a very cozy corner with great studio pictures in the background. The staff was friendly and responded to personal requests. The food was very plentiful and tasty.

Super attentive service. The highlight. Food really below average. Pork fillet fried to death and no longer edible. Turkey schnitzel was a thin, unbreaded, fried shoe sole. Some of the fried potatoes were badly burnt. Vegetables are frozen. Plate decoration like 1984. Ambience very clumsy and not particularly comfortable to sit in.

Great employees. Wenke was a nice waitress who accompanied us through the really great culinary evening. All wishes were taken into account and we have nothing to complain about. Great shop.

There is a varied menu, the prices are on the lower side. Burgers, schnitzel and La Flute were rich and good. We met a rather unfriendly owner who immediately pointed out the uncompromising cash payment, that could be friendlier! When we paid the bill, we handed over a bill with a ballpoint pen note on it. The owner refused to accept it. There should probably be problems with the bank. He could have given it back with the next change. There is only cash payment 😀 something like that leaves an unnecessary, bad aftertaste 🤷‍♂️

The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is cozy. The service is very friendly. We only had 1 hour to eat because we didn't reserve a table. This is definitely recommended. They are always fully booked. The time was not a problem for the service and the kitchen. That went really quickly. Definitely recommended.

Although the closing time was 11 p.m., we were kindly informed around 10 p.m. that it would soon be closing. It's a shame the ambience is very dignified and cozy! We only had 1 drink each, more than that was possible in 1/2 hour. 😉

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time in the evening today. Somehow the lugworm has simply been forgotten. It was really really tasty. We had Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes. The schnitzel was very tender and well seasoned. The fried potatoes were also just right. Well seasoned and crispy with fried bacon. The accompanying vegetables are still crunchy. The service was extremely courteous and friendly. Seemed more like a family. We'll probably come here more often now. Really recommended. Unfortunately no photos available. We went straight to eating.

Cozy, rustic restaurant where women can feel comfortable even alone.

Yesterday we were in the lugworm for the second time and again it was very nice there. Delicious food at really fair prices. Plus really great and friendly service. Everything fits together for a lovely evening. You should reserve a table on Friday and Saturday. The lugworm is no longer an insider tip :-)

Værten var meget uforskammet og meget uhøflig. Værten smed os ud, fordi han ikke mente vi hørte hjemme i hans beværtning. Maden var ringe og servicen var super dårlig. Er ungt par bag disken var meget serviceminded, men ejeren gav dem ikke lov til at tjene os.

When the sidewalks are folded up in the rest of Niebüll, you will find a cozy pub here that also serves very good, home-style food. Highly recommended, also because of the really friendly service.

Cozy restaurant with a great range of food. The burgers were really big and tasty and the jacket potato with crab was great. Because we got there shortly before the kitchen closed, the waitress was really patient with our youngest, who couldn't really make a decision because everything sounded delicious. We would love to come back, we felt comfortable 😀

The best sour meat, as far as I know the dish, matjes with fried potatoes is a delight, the Jägerschnitzel not with any sauce, but with delicious fried fresh mushrooms - plus a cozy atmosphere and friendly service! Great!

The “lugworm” was wonderful. The service was great and accommodating. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. The only drawback is that payment is only possible in cash. To be honest, we hardly had any cash on us, but luckily we withdrew it shortly beforehand. But otherwise the “lugworm” is recommended.

We googled that you could eat well here. We looked for a spot outside in one of the beach chairs and waited briefly until we were served. The young staff made it extremely friendly and authentic... You always felt welcomed and were able to have a humorous conversation. The food we ordered, the lugworm burger with fried potatoes, was really delicious and huge 🤭😂 You should consider sharing a side dish for two, as the hamburger is quite a mega burger. Drinks were also delicious, including the recommended schnapps. So - highly recommended to stop here.

A real original - it can't be bad where the locals feel comfortable. We were welcomed very warmly and sat really comfortably. The food was super delicious - zander fillet with fried potatoes and baked potatoes with crabs. Were there again the next day. Again super friendly and the food - matjes with fried potatoes - was great again. Another delicious dessert and a “clean-up” and the evening couldn’t have ended better. Thank you very much for the great hospitality - unfortunately we have to go back home. Come again!

Again it was very nice. Great food and nice service. Great steaks, delicious La Flutes - definitely try them with garlic sauce! The burgers are also very good! Unfortunately it was very warm in the restaurant and the window was only opened upon request. There are fans under the ceiling but unfortunately they are not switched on. Nobody knew anything about it. Update: went there again yesterday. Great as always. Food very good. We'd love to come back. Update: Good and friendly as always. See you next time.

Very pleasant location with perfect service and good food with reasonable prices. Unfortunately there is a depressing exception that brings everything down: only cash payment (!), but the service staff can't do anything about that, the operator is probably still behind the times here.

We had the schnitzel with asparagus and fried potatoes. The asparagus was baked with hollandaise sauce and cheese. Plus a draft beer. It was super delicious. For summer days, the restaurant also offers seats in front of the house.

I was sent out of the restaurant as an individual! There were at least 4 tables available, but the waitress said: “They are big tables and several people can come at once”. The “boss” confirmed it and said there was no room for me. What a money-hungry, pathetic host! Zero service and hospitality!
