Wie immer haben wir eine tolle Zeit bei euch erlebt mit herzlichem kompetenten Service und fantastischen modernen und phantasievollen Gerichten. Schön, dass es euch in Pinneberg gibt!

Kurzfristige Entscheidung zum Essen. Super Essen, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gern wieder. Es war ein gelungener Abend.

War sehr lecker! Alle total nett, schönes Ambiente, bis bald!

Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch waren ein Hochgenuss. Nicht billig, aber für die Qualität absolut angemessen. Das Essen war eine Freude für den Gaumen. Wir werden den doch relativ weiten Weg aus Nahe wieder auf uns nehmen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, unbedingt die Torte probieren

Wir waren heute zum 3- Gang Menü mit begleitenden Getränken im Restaurant Landdrostei und sind einfach nur begeistert. Super leckeres Essen mit hochwertigen Produkten mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Der Service war dabei durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich…Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Essen, kann man nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Moin. Wir waren heute wieder einmal und zum ersten Mal nach der sehr gelungenen Renovierung im Rahmen einer Radtour (siehe Herbert Rönneburg: 30 Radtouren am Wasser in Hamburg und Umgebung) bei Meusels in Ihrer LANDDROSTEI. Das Ambiente ist noch schöner geworden, der Service gewohnt herzlich, persönlich und aufmerksam, und das Essen (Mittagskarte) unglaublich lecker. Hier sind wir wirklich noch nie enttäuscht worden. Und die Mittagskarte gibt’s sogar samstags. Das ist selten und erfreulich! Für den Außenbereich war es heute, 11.04.2026, noch etwas frisch und windig. Aber da wir sie im Sommer schon oft genießen konnten, können wir auch die sehr empfehlen. Sie liegt im angrenzenden Park vor dem schönsten Gebäude Pinnebergs. Wir kommen sehr bald wieder! Enttäuscht. Wir hatten für knapp 30€ ein Brunch reserviert. Die Qualität war gut. Allerdings war die Auswahl ziemlich begrenzt - kaum Fisch, keine Salate, keine Früchte und vor allem: Kein Lunch! Es war ein Frühstück und dafür war es einfach viel zu teuer.

Wir hatten auf Vorbestellung das Überraschungsmenü: vegetarisch und nichtvegetarisch. Großartige Vielfalt, kreativ und ungewöhnlich kombiniert, hochwertig serviert. Ambiente und Service sind erstklassig.

Wirklich sehr schön und sehr freundliches Personal und aufmerksam, Essen wieder mal hervorragend

Für unser erstes Mal, war der Besuch gut. Hervorragende Bedienung, erstklassige Weine, schöne Sitzplätze Das Kellerbier kostet 6,20 Euro. Etwas viel für eine Flasche. Wir haben gehofft, das es aus dem Zapfhahn kommt. Es schmeckt allerdings trotzdem gut. Wir erhielten Brot und Öl mit Salz als Gruß aus der Küche. Das Brot war leider extrem trocken. Das Focaccia als Abendbrotgang, ist ebenfalls sehr trocken daher gekommen, nicht saftig, fluffig und locker. Das was darauf lag, ist allerdings lecker gewesen. Roastbeef zum Bsp. Der Salat mit Ziegenkäse und dem hausgemachten Chutney, schmeckte gut. Mein Pannfisch war ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Senfsauce dazu, ist delikat. Die regionale Speisekarte, lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das es dort Sushi gibt, erstaunte mich. Eigentlich passt es so gar nicht zum Rest der Karte aber ich denke, dass die Inhaber viele Gaumen ansprechen möchten. Grundsätzlich sitzen dort eben auch jüngere Menschen zum Date oder möchten zum Valentinstag das Sushi Arrangement mit nach Hause bestellen.

Sehr gutes Essen. Schöne Atmosphäre in der Drostei.

Wir hatten hier unser jährliches Weihnachtsessen mit der Familie. Der "Extraraum" war gar nicht geplant, passte aber super, da wir so lebhaft erzählen konnten, ohne andere Gäste zu stören. Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen, alle waren von ihrer Wahl angetan. Dazu schön angerichtete Getränke (u.a. Limonaden) und Nachtisch. Wir waren das erste Mal hier, aber sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal!

Perfekter Service und ein grosses Kompliment an die Küche. Das Überraschungsmenü und die Weinbegleitung waren großartig.

Yesterday we brought home two geese with red cabbage, gravy, and dumplings. All seven of us were delighted. Thank you so much for the smooth, friendly, and punctual service. We'll definitely be back! (I can't comment on the ambiance since we ate at home.)

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at Meusels and were spoiled by Aggi, Mario, and the team. The food was a feast for the eyes, and the service left nothing to be desired. Drostei is also highly recommended for those with small children. It was our fourth celebration there, but certainly not the last.

Located beneath the museum, it has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. This certainly won't be our last visit.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Meusel's Drostei. It's a somewhat different restaurant, especially in terms of its ambiance. Housed in an old building, it exudes coziness and character. The food is simply excellent, and all the staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. It won't be our last time there.

We celebrated our son's wedding with you and can say that everything was perfect. The reception on the terrace in the sunshine with delicious drinks, as well as the food in the restaurant, were excellent. Thank you again for the loving care and excellent service. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were generous. The prices are high, but you get really good quality, and the sauces, salads, and desserts are truly explosions of flavor. You should definitely try the three courses. The service is absolutely outstanding. Friendly, courteous, always asking if there's anything missing, not pushy, and always up for a chat or a joke. You can tell these people are motivated. Great. We sat in a back booth. It was very quiet and well-ventilated, so you had peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the chairs are very hard and not of the best quality, so after a good hour, the seating started to hurt. They urgently need to improve their standard of service and be more comfortable. We'll definitely be back soon...but then we'll be sitting outside.

We were invited to a family celebration. I'll try to keep it short: Really delicious food, top-notch service, and the ambiance was OK. With the trendy waitresses and the chef with the mohawk, it deserved a younger crowd 😉 Addendum on behalf of my wife, who is a vegetarian: there's only one vegetarian menu; there's no vegan one. That's too limited by today's standards.

We enjoyed lunch comfortably on the terrace. If the sun is shining and you want a table in the shade, you should reserve a table in advance.

Of course, you can fire the best and most loyal chef for financial reasons...if you don't feel like having guests.

Wir haben schon mehrere größere Familenfeiern im Meusels veranstaltet und waren immer sehr zufrieden, deshalb haben wir am 21.06.2025 im Meusels unseren 60. Hochzeitstag, also die Diamantene Hochzeit, mit 25 Personen gefeiert. Da es ein sehr warmer Tag war, haben wir auf der Sommerterrasse unsere Gäste empfangen, mit Prosecco und anderen gekühlten Getränken. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Anschließend gingen wir in das Eckzimmer, wo bereits das bestellte Büffet aufgebaut war. Die Vorsuppe wurde am Tisch serviert, danach wurde das Büffet "freigegeben". Was im Einzelnen auf dem Büffet angeboten wurde, verrate ich nicht, da müsst Ihr bei Meusels nachfragen. Aber es war großartig, reichlich und vielseitig. Wir, als Gastgeber, und die Gäste waren begeistert. Auch über das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal haben wir uns gefreut. Wenn Speisen zu Ende gingen, wurde nachgelegt, es wurde gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung und ob nachgeschenckt werden darf. Alles in Allem eine gelungene Feier, nach der alle Gäste zufrieden und gut gelaunt nach Hause fuhren. Danke nochmals, liebes Meusel-Team, dass Ihr sehr geholfen habt, uns eine wirklich tolle "Hochzeitsfeier" zu ermöglichen.

The ambiance is lovely inside, and sitting outside is a dream when the weather is nice. The salad is exquisite and very tasty. The service is friendly and attentive. I'd like to try the main menus at my next opportunity.

Das man bei Meusels am Sonntag auch frühstücken kann, scheint neu zu sein. Es war auf alle Fälle super lecker und auch mal etwas anderes als das übliche Frühstück, dass man woanders bekommt. Alles sehr liebevoll angerichtet und toll zusammen gestellt. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen.

Today I was invited to Meusels for breakfast for the first time – simply fantastic! A very tasty breakfast, beautifully presented, and luckily it was stated that the bread was generously tossed, otherwise we would have definitely ordered way too much. In addition to scrambled eggs and a poached egg, we wanted to share the pancakes and were served two plates with three pancakes each. Very attentive! Overall, I can recommend the breakfast there; the coffee was also delicious, and we'll definitely be back soon.

There were five of us, and everyone was very satisfied with their food. The service was attentive and friendly. We'd be happy to go again.

My husband and I went on a bike tour today and stopped at Meusel's Landdrostei to enjoy coffee and cake. The dining room is very cozy and the outside area also makes you want to linger because the old walls are simply inviting. Upon request, we were also allowed to sit outside and opted for blueberry cake and a latte macchiato. A good and, above all, delicious decision. The owner made our coffee break perfect - friendly, chatty and attentive - all around a good host. It wasn't the last time we were here and we will recommend the restaurant.

I can fully recommend this restaurant. The 3 star rating is not mine. I'm currently on tour in Vietnam. So I have something else to do at the moment. But that remains - definitely go if your luck takes you to Pinneberg. Best regards 🙂

Highly recommended Just a note. I also expect this with the bread sour cream. Not a speck that is a little too thin and then served with fried fish, as remoulade with roast beef in the same form. That's a small point of criticism. Otherwise the food was great.

Good German cuisine in a cozy, historic atmosphere. 4 friends, super tasty nibbles with dip beforehand, 3 different dishes of fish and meat, 1a white wine recommendation, ice cream dessert chosen. As a wedding photographer, I got to know the Meusel restaurant in Landdrostei Pinneberg as part of a wedding. The location impresses with its stylish ambience. The team is very attentive and friendly. You can take wonderful photos on the meadow in front of the Drostei. Overall, an excellent choice for weddings and other celebratory occasions.

We were there for dinner. We like to visit this restaurant on special occasions. This time we were very satisfied again. The food is of excellent quality. We also like the wine selection. The atmosphere is unobtrusively chic and the staff is very attentive and charming. A great evening!

We were in Pinneberg a few weeks ago and found this restaurant there. It was so great that we ate here twice in such a short time. The food is extremely good and tasty at reasonable prices, and the service is always friendly and attentive. We even got information about where the kitchen buys the very tasty venison ham (in a salad). We then went there (a farm shop) and did some shopping for home. I can fully recommend Meusel's Landdrostei without reservation. Thank you also for the extra decorations for our wedding day. When we're in the area again, we'll be happy to stop by again.

Very, very tasty food with great service, garnished with a nice ambience. Plus moderate prices. Great restaurant. Unfortunately we haven't been there for a long time, but last week the relatives were there and didn't believe that Pinneberg had anything to offer in terms of cuisine. We took out the Landdrostei card and were not disappointed. Let's do it more often now 👌🏽 (one of the few places that know how to make fried potatoes, btw…) In addition to the great dishes (I chose the kale and wanted to bathe in it!), the wonderful service should be mentioned. Very empathetic and attentive. When the drinks came to an end, someone was there and discreetly asked for more. All in all, I was very impressed. Thanks for the lovely evening!

Everything was super nice there, but duck with 1 hard dumpling and no sauce was disappointing for the price. 1/2 duck should also be cut lengthwise with breast and not two small legs. I'll be back, but watch carefully what I order beforehand

I was pleasantly surprised and found my new favorite restaurant in Pinneberg. The Pinneburger was very tasty and the meat was very tender. There was also a small salad. For dessert there was homemade ice cream. I would be happy to come back.

Meusel’s Landdrostei is an absolute highlight for everyone who appreciates excellent food and a stylish ambience. Every dish is a masterpiece - lovingly prepared, with high-quality ingredients and simply outstanding in taste. The menu offers a wonderful selection with something for every taste. I was particularly impressed by the service: professional, attentive and so warm that you immediately feel welcome. Added to this is the charming atmosphere of the restaurant, which is perfect for special occasions or a relaxed evening. Meusel’s Landdrostei is a place you should definitely visit – for me it is one of the best restaurants in the region. Five stars are absolutely deserved!

It's always a celebration to be with you - be it privately, supervision with my colleague or offering lunch for my birth preparation course. The kitchen is super flexible and super delicious! Plus a lovely team with lots of humor and charm. And the atmosphere really makes you feel like you're on a mini getaway!

Yesterday we had dinner with the family and in-laws at their Landdrostei again. Thank you for the wonderful evening. As always, we were very pleased with the extremely competent and friendly staff and, as always, we were thrilled with their food. Your kitchen just keeps appealing to us. Personally, I was happy about a perfect duck for the umpteenth time - it is simply great. I would like to extend our thanks to you from the whole family. We will see each other again soon in your restaurant because, on the one hand, we like your selection of great dishes and, on the other hand, the atmosphere is so appealing. We all found it particularly nice that they came to our table at the end of the day for a nice chat.

Disappointing experience despite excellent service We have been to this restaurant several times and have always been very satisfied. The ambience, service and food are really of a high standard. On our last visit, however, we had the opportunity to take a look into the open kitchen for the first time - and unfortunately that greatly clouded our perception. An employee of the kitchen, who later turned out to be the boss (both kitchen and restaurant), showed unacceptable hygiene behavior. We repeatedly observed him wiping his nose with the back of his hand, coughing into his hand and then directly touching the food. It was particularly frightening to see him eating finished fried potatoes from the pan with his fingers, licking his fingers and then touching the raw potatoes with the same fingers. The highlight was when the sauce spoon went into his mouth and was then put back into the pot, several times - unfortunately we can't say it was seasoned. This behavior continued for more than two hours and was repeated regularly. Unfortunately, the excellent service and courteous employees cannot make up for this lack of hygiene. It is with heavy hearts that we have to say that this was our last visit to this restaurant.

I just didn't like my sauce. Otherwise everything was great. You can have fun with the service. Fast and friendly of course too 🌹

Basically a great restaurant, unfortunately very disappointing recently! I've been there a few times. The food is usually of high quality, so there is nothing or very rarely anything to complain about. My companion had the Caesar salad and it doesn't have much to do with a Caesar, of course it's always a matter of interpretation by the kitchen, but then you should put something like that on the menu. The salad wasn't made with romaine lettuce as usual. There were many ingredients in the salad that had no place there in the classic sense. The taste of the salad was okay, but it wasn't a highlight either. My roast beef was good, but the remoulade was far too runny for my taste. This only consisted of mayonnaise, onions and cornichons including liquid. You can also add a bit of dill and/or parsley, it was just a bit bland and tasteless. Too bad! I found it better otherwise. But what was a complete disaster this time was the service. We were served by a middle-aged lady. I have rarely been served so poorly and disrespectfully. It started with the fact that when we arrived, this lady made a fool of a younger colleague right in front of us. Very unprofessional in front of guests! In my opinion, this is even wrong. Simply no kindness or empathy for us as guests. Zero attention, I would definitely have had at least 1-2 more beers, but if no one asks and doesn't come to the table, I'm really too stupid to "run after" the waitress. We sat outside and the store felt normal, maybe 50%. So it wasn't because of the workload, but rather because of the lack of motivation. I can't list every faux pas the lady made, but we felt really uncomfortable. I don't actually know anyone from here. What a shame! I certainly won't be coming back any time soon. Even if this all sounds pretty negative, it is basically a great restaurant. But such negative experiences simply outweigh the positive ones. Especially since the prices aren't low, which is basically okay if everything is in tip top condition. When I calm down again, I'll definitely come back ;)

Two of us were guests with a reservation. Starter was very tasty (soup and naan). Main course was roast beef (very tasty) and pasta with chanterelles. That wasn't ideal for 22.50 euros, at least for me. A few mushrooms, pasta without seasoning and a lot of (apologies) "greens" at the top. But we sat very well and the service was very attentive and nice.

Fantastic home-made cuisine with regional and seasonal products, meat and fish fried to perfection. Service top. Atmosphere cozy modern. Always happy!

Wir haben unser Hochzeitsessen mit der Familie in "Meusel's Landdrostei" genießen dürfen und waren rundum zufrieden! Für die Planung gab es einen persönlichen Termin bei dem wir sehr gut beraten wurden. Das Menü wurde auch in den Details unseren Wünschen angepasst und wir konnten die Leidenschaft für das Kochen und die regionalen Produkte spüren. Am Tag selbst gab es erst draußen einen kleinen Empfang und dann das Essen im separaten und schön gestalteten Raum. Ohne zu viel zu schreiben lässt es sich sehr einfach zusammenfassen: Die Organisation, das Personal und nicht zuletzt das Essen - es war alles perfekt! Auch unsere Gäste - die teilweise durchaus deutlich und ehrlich sein können - waren rundum begeistert. Die ersten haben auch bereits Gutscheine verschenkt und freuen sich auf den nächsten Besuch. Auch wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns neben dem guten Essen auf das nächste Landdrostei-Bier.

There were four of us and we were all very happy with our choice of food. The small salad beforehand was crispy and very well combined. Rib-eye steak, roast beef, fried potatoes were perfect. Likewise the onion roast with melted onions, king oyster mushrooms, mashed potatoes and dark sauce, which is not on the standard menu - a poem. Afterwards there was a dessert variation with crème brûlée. Delicious. The wines on offer are also of a high standard. Add to that the attentive and friendly crew, and the evening was perfect. We will be back.

Actually a nice restaurant. Food very good. A bit angled due to the “basement effect” of the house. Unfortunately, the price level is very high compared to comparable houses. Both the food and drinks make me avoid a repeat visit in the future. A pity.
