A culinary highlight with perfect service! During a short trip to Pirna we discovered the Felsenbirne restaurant by chance - and I am more than thrilled! The modern ambience, stylish dishes and cleanliness ensured that I could fully concentrate on the food. A big compliment goes to Felix, the chef, who not only gave us the best advice, but also took our order and served it. He was super friendly, attentive and spontaneous - it couldn't have been better! Right from the start we were surprised with little greetings from the kitchen - lovingly prepared little things that immediately made us want more. My main dishes: 🥩 Roasted saddle of beef with pointed cabbage and port wine jus - perfectly cooked, incredibly aromatic. 🥩 Braised ox cheek in jus with sesame mashed potatoes - incredibly tender and full of flavor. Particularly positive: The jus was simply outstanding – incredibly intense, perfectly balanced and a real highlight of the dish! The food came to the table extremely hot and creatively prepared – just the way I love it! Finally, there was a dessert that really impressed me: 🍧 Cold dog with mango compote and the best coconut ice cream I've ever tasted - a perfect mix of sweet, slightly sour and creamy. We also got a short excursion into how the name of the restaurant and the coat of arms came about - super informative and exciting! I can only recommend that you ask Felix about it ;) The price level is slightly high, but absolutely justified for the quality you get here. Every plate was worth it! Clear recommendation! – If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back!

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male hier im Gasthaus "Zur Sonne" ... immer wieder ein Genuß! ... aktuell haben wir natürlich auch auf die Spargelgerichte zugegriffen: meine Frau Spargelrisotto mit Gambas und ich Entrecote mit zusätzl. gebratenem Spargel. GENIAL! Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch ... dann mit größter Wahrscheinlichkeit auf der Gartenterrasse. WICHTIG: unbedingt vorher reservieren!

Had a lovely experience. With a combination of hand signals, Google translate and some English we were able to order the most wonderful meals. The atmosphere was great and the waiter was lovely. Would definitely recommend it. One note, bring cash. Not sure if they accept overseas credit cards. We had to pop down the road to the ATM. But it wasn't an issue.

We were there for breakfast yesterday as a family. Nothing was missing. The service was great and the price-performance ratio was outstanding. Everything was very tasty and of good quality. We like to come over for dinner sometimes.

Everything was very nicely designed and clean as well as very nice owners. There's only one thing that doesn't work: a musty smell and mildew stains around the bed! This room needs to be renovated urgently! Then I will come again.

We ate at widow Bolte's for the first time. The food was very tasty. Menu not too crowded. There is a small menu for children. Something for every meat eater. It is recommended to reserve.

The Pirnaer Pub Trollischenke is no ordinary pub, but a secret transition between the world of Muggles and the world of witches and wizards. On one side of the pub is the busy main street, where the inconspicuous pub, invisible to Muggles, is completely hidden between a large bridge and a public toilet. On the other side of the Trollischenke is its backyard and from there a portal can be magically opened to a shopping street for witches and wizards, Diagon Alley. This access was once created by the generous and open-hearted landlady Ronny Müller. The Trollischenke doesn't seem like a well-known and important place, but rather dark and shabby. Nowadays the small, dingy-looking pub is run by an older landlady.
